This is the best hotel I have ever been too! Everything was clean, the receptionist was extremely nice (young guy with glasses) pool has excellent hours and several pool towels were provided, mini fridge, microwave, big bathroom! Ten stars!

After a 13 hour drive with two kids and two pets, the front desk was amazing! Mattie checked us in very quickly and called up to make sure we had what we needed. Everything is clean and cared for. The bathroom was stocked. The parking lot was well lit to walk the dog. I have 0 complaints!

Picnic Area With Grills IS A Plus, Nice ROOMS, reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. Only downfall is it's very hot in the hallway and elevator until you get in your room. Overall 5 star.

Clean room, comfortable beds. Friendly staff. We would definitely stay again. Call and talked to Nicole before we arrive. Was looking for a meeting room for our Great Grandsons 2nd birthday. It was planed for outside, but weather was bad. She was above and beyond helpful. Can't thank her enough. The party was a great sucess because of Nicole.
Thanks to Nicole our trip was wonderful and so was our Great Grandsons day.

Recently our client James Holder was able to stay at this property while on tour. He really loved the stay! The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the free breakfast in the morning was worth waking up for. Quiet and comfortable rooms and great location to plenty of shopping!

It's my first time at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Marion Illinois but I will definitely be back! I had a long drive before I got here but once I arrived they had everything I needed. A friendly staff member who checked me in right away, a large comfortable room, a large indoor pool and a workout area. They also have lots of restaurants literally right across the street! Right now I'm looking at a Buffalo Wild Wings and a Logan's Roadhouse and a Jimmy Johns with more just down the street. And the complimentary breakfast they served in the morning was outstanding! I highly recommend this hotel for the experienced road traveler.

The hotel staff was wonderful. The room was clean. The only issue I had was that the room was "sticky" like the A/C wasn't pulling out the humidity. The breakfast was good. The room was priced a little higher than I would like but not too pricey. On a good note, they do give a veterans discount.

Had to move from one room to another due to musty and cigarette smell. No problem otherwise. Nice hotel. Pool open until midnight. Spacious room.

Very happy with choice. Much cheaper to book online. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean and modern. The air conditioning was sub par, had to turn it down more than usual to get it feeling comfortable. But I would choose it again.

Very clean room, but many people, including my father and I, had trouble with room keys not working. Something about your machine that codes them. My elderly, disabled father had to stand out in the hall outside our room, while I spent at least 20 minutes going back and firth on the elevator to get them fixed. Desk clerk finally got them fuxed for us. Clean room, nice breakfast with clean area and many choices. Enjoyed fireworks that were set off the night before nearby. Country Inn and Suites are our family favorite!

This hotel is very nice. The staff are very nice and accommodating. At check-in the clerk stated that she had put us on the 3rd floor, because it would be quieter after our long drive. How nice was that. The room was very comfortable, clean, well stocked and had all the amenities.

I’ve stayed here several times when visiting family. The staff always go above and beyond to make sure we are happy with our room and that our stay is comfortable. This last time, our room didn’t have a living area quarters like we have always had. They swapped us to another room with no issue at all, which we greatly appreciated! The breakfast is always great, the coffee is always fresh, and they are super friendly here.

Very clean, most of the staff was very friendly. We had 3 rooms for 2 nights and didn't have any problems with any of the rooms. The breakfast was great and they kept it well stocked. The pool was small but perfect for our group.

I walked in without a reservation, and they were able to help me get the best price for the night.

If I could I wouldnt give them one star. Very noisy. People running around the floors & doors slamming. Drums being beat on & children yelling. You can here people going up & down the stairs. The staff is unprofessional and lacks basic hospitality skills. There was no manager on the property at 9pm to address these issues. The person behind the desk response was to roll her eyes. So at 9:30 pm at night, I had to find a different place to stay. Country Inns is not set up for business travelers. Not worth paying $100 a night if you can't get any sleep due to the noise. Plenty of other hotels in area that want & respect business travelers and offer quiet rooms.

Can not give this hotel, the staff, the cleanliness and how much at home you feel (Very Welcoming) enough stars. I most definitely would give a 10 out of 10. Absolutely great! Heated pool that was really heated. Great breakfast, clean rooms at a great price! And didn't have to check out till 12! Woo hoo!

Amazing place to stay. Felt like home. We stayed on December 23rd. Enjoyed the pool and great breakfast. My son left his favorite stuff animal. Our hearts were broken. They were kind enough to mail the little guy back to our home in TX. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. Glad to know there are still good people in the world. Thanks again!

Great staff. Nice common areas. Good continental breakfast. Room could have been a little nicer, with a couple localized stains. Excellent location in Marion. Overall great value this holiday weekend compared to the Fairfield Inn that we usually stay at up the road. We'll probably be back. Also, sign up for the Carlson rewards program for a ~50% discount on pet fees.

Best hotel for cross country driving. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Consistently friendly, always immaculate wherever you are.

The Country Inn & Suites in Marion, IL. Was amazing. The hotel offers a workout room with a fair amount of options. The indoor pool was a plus. Especially as we were traveling during the last week of October. They offered a pretty hearty complimentary breakfast. As far as hotels go, the Country Inn & Suites offers all the bells and whistles. As far the room themselves, the word I would use to describe it is "Impressive. " The room was huge. It includes a living room that just made the room all the better. It had a couch that had a foldout bed which came in very handy that night. The bathroom was just as huge and incredibly convenient. I can't say enough nice things about the Country Inn & Suites in Marion, IL.

Had a great stay. Loved that it was pet friendly. There's a grassy area out back to take your four legged friend. They have a baggie station out there so they really thought of everything. Very clean and comfortable. They even had homemade chocolate chip cookies waiting for you at the front desk. Will stay again.

If you must stay at a place that substitutes policy and profit for hospitality and professional management, be sure to confirm your reservation-holding credit card is good before they try to authorize it since your rooms will be gone before the advertised check-in time and the opportunity to resolve the issue. Giving rooms away because the customer didn't respond to a voice-mail inquiry within an hour isn't a practice I'd want to reward by staying there anyway. (This review system forces the awarding of at least one star. )

The location was great with several options for food and entertainment nearby. The rooms were large and modern and very clean. Staff was very friendly. The pool area was great but does not have a hot tub which was a bit of a disappointment. The complimentary breakfast was very good and well stocked. All in all it was a very good visit and we would definitely stay here again.

My family stayed hear while travelling from Utah to Florida. It is nice and clean, and the staff is hard working and professional. Jon Schmidt was helpful and kept the place nice and clean. The room was very comfortable and was a good rate. My wife and I and our six children were all able to comfortably sleep in one room. Our only regret was that we were in a hurry to get to Florida and couldn't enjoy the pool and other amenities, but the breakfast was wonderful. Jon Schmidt needs to check out the Piano Guys, as Jon Schmidt is the name of one of the Piano Guys and they are awesome! :) Thank you Country Inn & Suites for a nice stay.

I am giving this place a 5 star rating. My wife is handicapped and has a service dog. I found out this motel is pet friendly witch is nice for the Country Inn system, when most of them are not. The management was very concerned that they did not have a handicapped room when we got there, but did have a ground floor room. Also the breakfast was very good. I did talk with the management and told them I was going to inform the place we get our service dogs from that this motel is a very good place to stay at.

Only place to stay in Marion. I stay once a month if my route allows me. Best breakfast, great staff, located walking distance to three excellent restaurants. Rates are economical, rooms are wonderful for the rate. Softest pillows and comfy king beds…

This was our second time at this hotel. Staff is friendly, hotel is clean and comfortable. It's always our top choice when we visit family in the area.

Really nice hotel for the money. So many hotels in this price point are so gross but this place is very clean. Pretty lobby with a fireplace and another one in the large breakfast area. Typical hotel hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, etc. Nice looking pool and hot tub. Pet friendly! (although it is a $25 charge)

My family and myself had a fantastic time. The room was clean and the indoor pool was immaculate. The morning breakfast was good as well. Im definitely staying again in the future.

Everything is great but the breakdast isnt good a. D the front desk lady wasnt there for over. Twenty minutes! Other than that its okay.

A little bit pricey compared to other hotels or motels in the area, but after Military Discount, not too bad. The rooms and the general atmosphere of this hotel is extremely nice though, everything was extremely clean, and very comfortable. It is right by the Walmart there so if you forgot anything it is just a 5 minute drive to pick whatever you need up.

It is very very clean and staff friendly and helpful. We highly recommend it for pet owners. It is worth the extra fee. The breakfast is much better and has more variety than many chain hotels. We are sorry that most Country Inns do not accept pets, but will stay at this one again.
