I was there for conference the staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet was really good and also the chicken wings my husband order and hamburger as well.

I went to the Oak Brook Marriot to meet with a client and had a very pleasant experience. Sitting in the bar area, a waiter came by to ask us if we'd like anything. We ordered some water and coffee, and our waiter served us with a smile on his face and happy to help where he could. Overall, facility was very nice, well maintained, and clean. Although I didn't stay in any of the rooms or try the food, I would feel very comfortable returning for an overnight stay.

Great service overall. I got grease stains out of my pants that I thought would remain forever with the dry cleaning service for a reasonable $9. I was able to get a free shuttle to my training at the Oak Brook Terrace Tower every morning. Finally, the terrific receptionist Maria when I arrived at 1 AM even chit-chatted in Polish with me… gotta love Chicagoland. One of the better hotel experiences I've ever had!

Solid business hotel. Location is central to a number of businesses and a mall. Restaurant had decent beers. Lounge area had a couple televisions. Breakfast was decent and arrived on time. Comfortable beds. A/C worked well.

Excellent hotel for both business and family. Easy access off of Main Road, with a major mall right across the street. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant and other facilities are very well maintained.

The location is great. Easy to get to, close to lots of restaurants. The rooms are big and clean. The on-site restaurant has good food and a good selection of drinks. The staff is nice and attentive.

I really like this Marriott Hotel as the staff were very friendly and helpful. They didn’t make you feel like you were “bothering” them. Was there this weekend for my Family Reunion and had a great time. I had one concern: my cousins got locked out of their room for many hours because the battery in the door lock went out but the staff were unsure what to do. It would have been a greater concern but the hotel did a fantastic job compensating them for the hardship.
Room was clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Came for a professional certification over the course of a week. Facility seems nice. Lunch was provided by the hotel and it was overall pretty good. Staff was friendly and attention even for our small group. Although they did serve plain old thin crust pizza but they labelled it as, "Authentic Chicago Style Pizza", so I have to knock them a few points.

This is a great hotel with perfect amenities with easy proximity to all major highways. The rooms are clean not up-to-date with the most recent Marriott chain styling but good enough for a business visit. The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating and there is also a lounge for Harriet members.

Great place to go. Staff provides excellent customer service. I recently had a business meeting there. Nice clean and very professional.

I absolutely Loved this hotel. Everything surrounding this hotel is beautiful, the view of the shopping area and main street is so beautiful. The front desk employees were so nice, When they found out that my husband and I were staying there for our 2nd year anniversary they sent us so complimentary items! The hotel had a Starbucks and breakfast buffet. The pool was huge and overall nice! The gym was perfect had everything that you needed. I would absolutely RECOMMEND this hotel. I gave the hotel 4 stars only because our bathroom door was broke, it wouldn't lock at all, but other than that it was a beautiful and affordable hotel to stay in! LOVED IT.

Great hotel, staff, and location! I came up for school, and stayed two nights. The hotel rooms were clean, and well appointed. There is a very nice fitness room, indoor swimming pool, and whirlpool. The hotel is close to the Oakbrook Mall, restaurants, and not too far from the Aurora Outlet mall.

Clean and comfortable hotel with spacious rooms. The decor isn't the most modern, this is clearly an older property. The staff is very friendly, the bar has great service and good food options.

Had a wonderful stay recently at The Chicago Marriott Oak Brook hotel. Room was clean and spacious. Service was top notch. They served a delicious break with optional buffet. Would definitely stay again.

I specifically called this hotel 4 separate times in one day just to make sure accommodations would be able to happen for a reservation before I made it was assured of all questions so I booked. I was in need of a roll out bed so was advised after booking to call the office and tell them, when I done so I was then told there would be a $25 dollar charge for a roll away bed. Then I was told my ESA dog would be allowed to stay the lady who answered even went and asked another person. Now I am told no that is not the case and since have had to cancel my reservation! bad communication skills. Wasted time and now have to start all over in search of a room! very disappointed. Was actually looking forward to the stay.

Went to Oak Brook for the weekend for my daughter’s birthday. She wanted a weekend of shopping in Chicago. I booked a double room but upon arriving all double rooms were given away due to a bunch of student groups in town. We were given a king room and offered a cot. We were not offered a discount or anything for the trouble. I can not remember the rate difference exactly but I know the double room was a little more than the king room. The room was nice and it was clean but the fridge did not work and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut all the way. I let them know upon checkout since it didn’t bother us but they needed to have maintenance fix it before the next people stayed. My daughter slept horribly because the cot was uncomfortable. I’m giving it 4 stars because the hotel and the king room we got were nice, but I would probably not stay here again because when you book and pay for a double room, you should expect to get that room on arrival. I don’t think I would trust for it to not happen again.

Incompetency is on another level at this hotel. There was a receptionist at the front desk named Jason. He has no customer service skills at all. He hardly speaks. He does not know how to use the system. He is not even capable of communicating with their own reservations department. I felt like he is intentionally trying to be unhelpful. He is a failure in so many ways that I can write a ten page essay on how miserably he fails his job. That's what I see in 20 minutes. If his managers are still keeping him on the job after seeing how he is — not — doing his job, I bet they are as disqualified for their job as their employees. It is frustrating to see these incompetent people in a hotel such as Marriott. It took more than three phone calls back and forth with national reservations and the hotel to uncover my reservation by the front desk personnel. As someone that stays in hotels more than 6 months every year, I expect certain level of service as standard. I also base my reviews depending on the star of the hotel and the cost. This Marriott earns 1-star from me. Other than the people that works in the hotel, the hotel as a building is in good location and good condition. Carpets in the rooms need cleaning, there are visible dirt. I do not recommend walking inside the room barefoot. Windows look like they have never been washed since installation. You can see paint on the windows. Beds and bathrooms look to be taken care of by the housekeeping.

The greeters are nice. The hotel is very beautiful. It's in a great location: across the street from the mall and plenty of food establishments in the area.

Fantastic site for Oakbrook hotels. The staff were great and facilities clean and well decorated. The have a restaurant/ bar with good food and service. Prices were extremely reasonable. I'll stay again.

The hotel's location has good access to the highway. Checking in and out was easy. It was easy to arrange a late check out. The room was clean. The TV was easy to use. The shower worked well. The pool was clean.

Pool was nice but not very warm. Pool area was cold. Few hiccups with the room but it was sorted easily.

The stay was fine. The room was clean. Great service by the bartender at night. Only small complaint is the bed only has one thick blanket. It got a bit hot overnight and I wish I had just a bed sheet so I could take off the thick cover.

I have been going here since I was a young girl and this hotel is still my favorite! Such a clean place and wonderful service.

The staff was superb. They are so attentive and pay attention to details. The hotel was really nice. We had the brunch and it was outstanding. Best brunch eggs and potatoes I have ever had. You can't beat the cost either. Easily accessible and the mall is right there. We will definitely return when we come to visit family. Thank you!

They gave us such a hard time about everything. The room was booked as a gift over the phone and was told that everything was paid for and taken care of by the representative on the phone. According to the front desk this was apparently not possible. They couldn't charge the card on file unless we didn't show up, then they could charge the card on file. Yes, it was that strange. The rooms are fine, but we did have a towel with some blood on it.

Room was clean and bed and pillows were comfortable. However room was loud from interstate traffic, people above and any time someone opened their door. Bathroom is a terrible design. You basically have to get in the bathtub to close the door.

Very easy to get to. We had use of all the grand ballroom. It was well-set-up and organized.

I was at the Marriott Chicago Oakbrook location for a professional event. The staff was courteous and there were refreshments provided throughout the event. The continental breakfast was fresh and had plenty of options. Overall I would attend another professional event if it was to be offered at this location.

We just stayed this weekend here at the Marriott. We got in about 8:40 p. M. And there was a line and we waited patiently for about 5 minutes while the bar area was full of people in very loud, it would be nice if they had their own room so it wasn't so loud in the lobby. When it was finally our turn to check in we asked for two pillows and two blankets and they said it would be to our room. About 10:15 we walked down there and asked him again for pillows and blankets and they said that it would take them to our room it wasn't until 11:30 that they finally knocked on our door and gave us our pillows and blankets. We asked for a cot and they said our room could not have one but then the next day the cleaning lady asked us if we would like a cot and we said yes. We didn't get that cot for 3 hours but we really didn't need it until night time anyway. Other than that it was a great Hotel, very pretty and was nicely kept. I would definitely just do something about isolating the bar from the lobby. I would definitely stay again hopefully get better service.

I would strongly suggest you don't choose this hotel if you can have any other choice. They steal your money! I have been Marriott member for 2 years and I decide to cancel my membership. I made reservation and cancelled it 7 days before the free cancellation date based on Marriott policy because we changed to stay in another hotel close to Downtown Chicago. I have email from Marriott with cancellation number. But I was still charged for the cancelled service. When I called the cancellation line in Chicago Marriott Oak Brook, the staff (his name was Steven) showed extremely inpatient attitude and stated he can't find my cancellation number and transferred me to counting service. But he actually just put me on hold and then hanged off phones when I tried to call him again. I had to file complaints to Marriott customer care service while I have not received any update after 2 days.

I attended the CTCL College Fair at this hotel. While I didn't stay in a room, the "hall" (I'm not sure what it's called) was very clean and nice. Upon entering I immediately thought it looked like a nicer hotel. I imagine the rooms are quite nice.

This was a beautiful hotel right across the street from a popular and modern shopping mall. Not quite in Chicago but who cares. One of the best hotels to stay in if you don't want all of the crowdedness of Downtown Chicago! Enjoyed my stay here quite much.

It's a pretty nice hotel. Newer rooms, great concierge lounge with good food options for Elite members, and good location with shopping and restaurants around. Only cons for me, no TNT channel so I could not watch NBA playoffs. I find this odd as every other basic channel and channels I would find to be premium are available. Also, the shower head is very basic with no options or different settings to change the water flow. As is, the water flow is very poor. Otherwise, I find this hotel to be a good stay.

This place is so clean. We held seminar here and used the Marquis room. I am just happy that washroom was so close and convenient. We also had lunch and the food was awesome. Only thing is, they get so bz at the reception and kind of forget the other guests who tries to purchase a merchandise from their convenient store. We waited a while, about 10 min before we got addressed. And they really add so much $$$$ for a bottle of water. It's not really a great way to satisfy a guest who had to spend $5 for a bottle of water. Other than this, I would come back again for a stay but I'm bringing my own water next time.

I visited the Chicago Marriott in Oak Brook for a Bridal Expo. I only got to experience the main lobby as well as the banquet room that was set up with a runway and vendor booths. The layout was convenient and getting around the hotel was easy. The full service bar and Starbucks were also on the main floor, so we had the little extras we needed. The only service from the hotel I experienced was at the bar and it was okay. The server reiterated that she was a restaurant server and not a bar tender to another patron. Not a big deal, but says they were short handed. Also, 2 mimosas were $21. With barely any champagne in the glass. Probably the worst part of the whole experience there.

My family and I had a fantastic stay here. We were simply looking for a close getaway. The pool is one of the best I've seen in a hotel. The workout area is amazing also. The kids had an amazing time. The only downside was the inability to get adjoining rooms at this particular visit.

Food is fantastic at their restaurant. Left the pot of coffee at the table. The children's portions were ample and that mac and cheese was the best ever. Plus they got fruit or veggie with their meal. We had the wings, the salads and sandwiches. Every bite was superb.
The pool was warm enough, which is amazing cuz most places have problems with that. The rooms could be adjusted to as warm or cold as you like and oh! the beds. Marriott bedding is the best!

The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very nice the service is excellent and it's very accessible.

Started on a negative note. If you book through Expedia you are not guaranteed the room you book and they don't care. They blame it on third party and tough luck for you. Interesting for a family of 5 with one king bed. We did end up getting a rollaway but again no guarantees. Stuck us on 11th floor so we got to hear elevators run all night long. No free Wi-Fi or breakfast. Ran out of towels at the pool area. Called and told front desk. Luckily they showed up in time for the pool to close. Elevators are soooooo slow. Decent place to stay but don't expect anything above and beyond as far as service goes. They know their agreement with the third party booking websites. They are just filling empty rooms and making money and too bad for you if you didn't read the fine print.

Breakfast was excellent. Ground floor womens' restroom has the worst lighting ever. If you needed a close mirror with good light to get an eyelash out of your eye, you could probably get better lighting in your car. Dimly lit like a shady bar.

Terrific staff. Rooms are more than adequate. Great location. Over 30 stays there. Some groups get noisy. That can happen anywhere.

We had a work function during the week here recently. The room was nice and comfortable. The conference room we used was adequate. The food and the bar were decent. The pool and the hot tub area were great. I left some items in my room after check-out and the staff was extremely helpful and shipped them back to me quite promptly. The shuttle to the mall/restaurant area was really convenient too. I was very impressed with this hotel and would highly recommend it for a personal stay or professional event.

Terrible experience here. My choral group recently stayed here, booking with Heritage. The first thing we noticed as we got into our room was that it smelled extremely like smoke. Then, we realized that what we had been told would be a refrigerator ready for us was actually a small black box that even had a sticker on it saying that it was not meant to keep things cool for long periods of time. After that, we met our neighbors. Apparently not only were other choral groups staying there this weekend, but there was some sort of Mary Kay convention going on, and who knows what else. The Marriott has a policy of nobody in the halls after eleven. Our kids respected that, but we chaperons ended up having to deal with OTHER SCHOOLS and adults who thought it would be perfectly acceptable to walk up and down the halls practically shouting at two in the morning. When we called to complain downstairs, nobody answered. Then, the next day, when we left, we fully expected to come back six hours later to a cleaned room. When we got back (late, and seven hours instead of six), our rooms were still a mess. I swear, their maids move like snails. I actually watched from across the hall as one of the maids took twenty minutes dusting the television. Absolutely ridiculous. I think the maids smoke in the rooms as well, because it seemed like the smell got worse after they came.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary night here. We didn't initially plan on staying here and it was a kind of last minute thing but I'm glad we did. It was extremely crowded and I had the urge to turn around as we walked in but glad I didn't; once we established that we were not with any of the family reunion or wedding groups they were hosting we were given our card keys and headed up. The room was GORGEOUS to our surprise we had be given a corner room with a wonderful view of the golf course and pool area away from all the chaos of guest:) Room was very clean, flat screen TV and liked that you couldn't see the the bed as soon as you walked in (it was around the corner like for privacy) Thanks front desk lady for hooking us up:) ) ) ).
