The grounds are beautiful, the pool is great, and the staff is professional.

We got married here last November. A year ago tomorrow! Still a dream! And we have stayed here as guests multiple times prior to our wedding and we love everything about it. The beautiful outdoor space and the food and rooms were all great! And as for our wedding, everyone we worked with made our dream wedding come true!

Beautiful hotel very spacious and great for business conferences.

We checked out Wednesday 9/21/2022 with my elderly parents and that day couldn’t come fast enough. Communication was nonexistent. They couldn’t figure out our reservations so that was an ordeal to get rooms, Valet was part time which would have been fine had we been told the self park was down the hill and across the street, rooms were FILTHY. Food left behind from previous guests, spider webs with dead bugs hanging from the ceiling, had not been dusted in months, drawers full of what looked like mice droppings, mildew in the shower, and dirty floors. I have stayed in ALL kinds of hotels and level of hotels and this one was unlike anything I’ve experienced. I strongly do not recommend for health reasons. Many more options.

Very clean, pool could've been a little bit warmer. Hot tub was huge big enough for about 50 people. Also had a steam room and sauna I love the steam room. $20 day pass thru Resort pass definitely will be back.

Dirty room — used band-aids, overcrowded and loud lobby and hallways, restaurant service unavailable (times, problems with computer system) no room service, vending machine on floor will not take cash or card, no late check out. the. Worst.

Hotel is on beautiful grounds with a little lake and fairie lights sparkling at night. We had such fun swimming in the huge pool under the skylights, watching the clouds with our children. Only complaint was the actual room. It was small for a room with 2 queen beds and our window faced a brick wall which was a huge disappointment.

The setting is perfect with views of water, trees, flowers everywhere. The service is fast and friendly. The architecture and interior design is breathtaking! If you’re a nature lover and and architecture and design aficionado like me, this is the place for you! We’ll definitely be back! 💜🌈😊

What was supposed to be my daughters 9th birthday celebration turned into a mess. We got there in the hypoallergenic room just before 3pm. Saw two ants start crawling near the donuts we bought. I killed them. Told the front desk. They never came up to spray or clean in between the desk and TV stand like I asked. There was food and crumbs and paper bags shoved down there. I thought that would solve it. We got dressed. Went swimming for an hour and a half and came back up to the room (room 331). More ants all over the beds, in our clothing and suit cases and all over the table and TV stand! They moved our room but the ants traveled with us downstairs to room 218. When we entered this non hypoallergenic room I noticed cake smashed in the carpets, tables were dirty and disgusting. I bagged up all our things and have spent the last couple hours washing our stuff and disinfecting what we could. I had to throw out my luggage as well. I got a full refund but I feel like there should be more because of all this. Not a pleasant experience.

Was there for 2 days, it was really nice and I usually want a suite but there regular rooms we're just as nice with nice space.

We just had our wedding there Halloween and the staff is amazing! They literally got my wedding perfect when we had only two weeks to plan! Jimmy, Torrez, Cheryl, Amanda and the rest of the staff made my day one to remember and worked so hard to make sure everything went smoothly! Their accommodations in the Partner Suite were gorgeous and was so perfect for my bridal party to get ready in! I loved every minute of my day and Hyatt Lodge went above and beyond to make it perfect!

My husband and I had a great stay at the Hyatt lodge. Room was great, people were friendly.
I had a 90 min massage in the spa… Amazing kanesha worked out so many Knott's on my back. Very reasonably priced! we loved our 2 day staycation.

This hotel is so unique, none of the “pre-populated” choices really fit. It was like staying in a small hotel plopped in to a municipal garden. The running and bike trails meandered along creeks, through the woods, and around the lake, past the fire-pit, stone bridges, and mini waterfalls. The conference facilities were perfect for our small group, but they host meetings of up to 500 and over 150 weddings a year. The concierge desk was staffed by spectacular problem solvers with fabulous attitudes. Good job Hyatt!

Not the ADA room I requested, but I’ll manage. Room was a very long walk from registration desk and the handles were mostly on the left, even though I specifically asked for right-sided handle assists because my stroke effected my body’s left-side.

Peaceful wooded location near lots of restaurants and shopping. Clean, modern rooms with comfortable beds and fluffy pillows. The pool area was really nice with a heated pool and large hot tub. The pool is shared with a park district I think, so half of it is set up for swimming laps. There are some good dining options on site too. Only complaint is that some of the staff seemed pretty apathetic and weren't very helpful.

My stay here was absolutely amazing. Great customer service, food, and amenities. Loved the pool, sauna, and steam room. There are showers and lockers in the locker room near the pool as well. I was given a quiet room away from elevators and stairs as requested and really appreciated that. Everything about this stay was great and I would go back if in town again for sure!

Gorgeous hotel, the rooms are updated and wonderful. Management did an excellent job executing the wedding we attended and handling some difficult situations. Mr. Canfield (GM) was the consummate professional and turned an excellent event spectacular. Front desk was wonderful, food was great, and the wedding was wonderful with a lot of thanks to Hyatt for that!

I absolutely luv this hotel. Me and my girl come here for a nice getaway or on special occasions. Either way, it's always a great experience. The entire staff including the management team are incredibly nice and accommodating. Any issues that may have occurred, they solved with ease and with a smile. This is a really great hotel and we will be back again. Thank everyone for making our stay such a great one.

Our family had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel, and we plan on booking here again when we visit in the future. The surrounding campus is gorgeous and quiet, which is a nice change to the busy Chicago noise. The hotel itself is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. My husband and I were so impressed with the friendly staff. We had our baby girl with us and the room was accommodating for that — providing us with a clean and comfy pack and play for her. The hotel accommodated is with an early check-in and late check-out no problem. I couldn’t say enough good things about the place! I highly recommend.

Self parking is a hassle. There was so much dust in our room it was digusting. We have stayed at so many better locations. This location really needs a face lift and to spray for mosquitoes.

We really loved our stay here. The quiet setting was wonderful to get away and relax in. We got a couples massage and one massage therapist was 45 minutes late but they gave us a free foot soak and head massage with oils, as well as, taking a percentage off our final bill for the service. The breakfast was great too at the water's edge restaurant!

Clean rooms, beautiful campus, and friendly staff. Everything in the room was modern, and looked great. We were there for a wedding reception and brunch the next day and it was amazing.

This hotel is a grand one within a city. Reminds me of a lodge in Northern Wisconsin. The only complaint is it could be "refreshed " because there are parts looking it's age. Same with the pool area. Love the walkways around the property.

An absolutely amazing place to visit. I say visit because I was there for an event. The landscape and atmosphere is beautiful. Amazing service from the staff, all very helpful and attentive. Wish I could remember their names. Need food? It will be catered with plenty of Burgers. Lol.

The Hyatt Lodge is on a beautiful campus. The food was good. But I had two problems — the parking is very far and this walk includes a substantial hill. There is no shuttle, but you can leave your bags at the door. There is valet parking, but it says on the website that overnight is $15 and the valet told me no, it is $50 overnight. It was also very stuffy and warm in most areas of the hotel, except the main ballroom. We had two cocktail events, one outside the ballroom and one outside the pavilion, and both were unbearably hot. I had my thermostat pinned at its lowest setting of 65F my entire visit in early May.

It was truly a beautiful place for a reception. The banquet staff was friendly but professional and the food was good. Not outstanding, but average or above for a large event. The facility showed no signs of straining with this 250 guest reception, and there was at least one additional reception at the same time Overall, a very good experience.

A hidden upscale retreat. One of a kind Hyatt. Impressive indoor pool, jacuzzi and fitness center. Located on the McDonald’s corporate headquarters campus. Inside the hotel the hamburger giant’s themed art pieces found all over the place. From back side guest room to activity areas can get lost easily. Friendly staff somehow made it up. Stayed here in yet to come spring time. Imagine summer time, by when I’d like to come back.

My experience at the Hayatt Lodge was Buenisimo! The clerks are very friendly and were able to help me with all my questions, the room service always leaves the room organized and everything feels clean… It also has several options in places to eat.

I can't believe this is a 4 star hotel. I was so unhappy with my experience. The parking is a walk to the hotel, and the valet parking costs $15. We finally got checked in and had another 10 minute walk to get to our room. Then another 10 minutes to get to the pool. Everything is very spread out. We were woken up at 12:40 am by people in the hotel screaming and throwing things. I wanted to step outside, but there are no doors you can get out unless you walk all the way up front, where they were having an event. At 6am, the alarm clock started going off and couldn't get it to stop. The cafe was ok, just over priced. Would never go back, would not recommend this place.

Really good food at s better than expected price. I don't know why it isn't busier. The service was great. Great atmosphere and a nice view when it's light. Before and after, they have a modern bar and fireplace pit.

The stay was pretty nice. There was 4 adults and 1 baby with 2 queen beds. Only complaint were the pillows were too soft. Had to call twice to get 2 more and my father met the lady in the hallway about 25 minutes later.

Love the pool, steam and sauna rooms. Everything is super clean and the staff are friendly with amazing customer service. Free shuttle services to drip off and pick up within 3 miles. Visit the health lounge and enjoy the best steak sandwich and salmon salad. I also was craving for fruits and they made me the best mixed fruit plate. Enjoy the beautiful snowy lake effects view while staying warm and well fed. Mayra at health lounge is the best!

The staff was very nice and assisted my entire company with anything we needed. The hotel was very clean and had excellent decor. The kitchen staff was very attentive, but all of our food was not warm at all.

Wonderful and warm setting, full of history. Great food. Had an amazing time. I am a fan of the University of Michigan but found the picture Ohio State Buckeye tree very interesting. Captured the picture and sent to all my friends that went to Ohio State University.

Very nice, quiet, exceptionally clean. Massage therapist Alexis was very qualified. Pool, sauna, steam room, hot tubs were exceptional. Perfect hotel! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful property surrounded by nature. Great place to hold small to medium group events. Haven't stayed there but attend monthly breakfast gatherings there. Very nice.

Awesome place hidden in a quite and beautiful area. Staff are nice. Our room with king bed was spacious. They provided a crib for the little one. I highly recommend this place.

I attended a wedding at The Hyatt Lodge. They put on a wonderful event. All the staff were fun and courteous. The entertainment was great, the food was amazing (they even accommodated my girlfriend who is vegan and gluten-free), and the atmosphere was amazing. The cheeseburgers provided near the end of the event were a great plus.

The room was large and very clean. We enjoyed the layout of the room and the fact that a small balcony is available so that we could step out into the nature. Their was a trail that we wanted to walk around but the downpour from the night before flooded the area a bit. The Italian restaurant had great food and wines. Overall an experience we look forward to have again.

Beautiful campus. We attended a wedding there. Wonderful scenery for a reception on the patio and beautiful indoor venue for the party. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Tasty brunch the next morning. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel and campus are like a different world. It's surrounded by trees and water, and aesthetically it is gorgeous and a 10/10. HOWEVER, this hotel is awful for accessibility. Valet parking near the door is $15/night, and free self parking is across the street. The sidewalks to get to and from the parking lot are not big enough to accommodate a power chair, and a wheelchair may barely fit. The quickest way to get to get to the front entrance is up a large flight of stone stairs. The "accessible" way would have you going up the drive way, with vehicles. Also, they seem to skimp on very basic things: no complimentary breakfast, not even complimentary coffee. Only three towels in a family room. Only a single extra chair in the room. Gorgeous, but definitely not the best.

Very nice hotel, clean and updated. Beautiful pool and located on at nice waterfront setting with wooded paths you can walk. It's kind of neat that it's located on the McDonald campus. I reserved it on an Express deal so the price was also very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful grounds, with lots of space to explore and enjoy the lush green scenery and calming lake. Our room was cozy with tasteful decor and a nice view of the pool. The bed was comfy enough also. There are lovely views from all over the hotel that beckon you to stop and take it all in. Compliments to the staff for being so friendly, attentive, and professional. I was very pleased with them and everything overall. My son enjoyed the pool very much as well. It is a beautiful and relaxing retreat for sure.

Was there for a wedding reception. Super professional service. Food was good and hot. The location was nice but everything was very dated. Straight out of the 70s. The older people there for the wedding thought it was perfect. Good drinks though.

Absolutely beautiful area — the McDonald's campus is wooded with a lake and walking trails. Feels like an oasis in the city. The restaurants had good menus and the food I had was tasty. The only complaint was that use of the beautiful pool and fitness area (which was an incredibly long walk from the lobby) was an additional fee each day.

I love this location. It is perfect!. Not that big. Not that far from Chicago. I can find here everything I need to relax and rest my body and my soul. Very cute rooms with such a view. Spa services. Good food. Good drinks. Free parking. Kids enjoy the indoor pool very much. Big gardens for nice walks…

The heat in our room didn't work, the toilet ran for 5 minutes every time we flushed, and there was old dried up food on the bed frame.
We asked maintenance to fix the heat because we were freezing but he told us it would take at least 30 minutes so he could switch us rooms or come back in the morning. It was already 10 at night (which is actually 11 at night where we're from) we were exhausted from driving from Michigan and really didn't want to pack all of our items back up to switch rooms so we decided to just deal with it for the night.
In he morning we spoke to the front desk about the toilet, the heat and the food. They told us it would be taken care of while we were out at a tournament all day. And for our in inconvenience they would credit us a free breakfast as well as free breakfast for my mom who was staying in a different room.
Well, the toilet was fixed. However we spent another night freezing because the heat was never fixed and the dried up nasty food was still on our bed frame … and my mom was never credited her breakfast, so when she went to get her breakfast they charged it to my room instead.
Also, beware there are hidden charges for just about everything. Either pay $20 per day for parking, or self park in a parking lot that is far away, and down a set of stairs you have to hike every time you want to get to your car. There is bottled water in the room BUT read the fine print, if you drink it they'll charge you $2.

Where do I begin to rave about This campus I can only imagine how it is in the spring/ summer months. Every aspect of the stay was GREAT! Very few things I would change. From the moment I arrived at Valet, to Water's Edge, & not let's not forget Midtwon Spa located inside. I will most definitely be visiting this establishment again. Megan at the front desk was beyond courteous & eager to please. I'm incredibly picky about cleanliness too & I would give it 4.5 our 5. Again very few things I would change. I got a lost a few times but once I found my way, everything they had to offer was beautiful.

Love stay-cationing at the lodge. Very friendly, the campus and architecture of the building is excellent and calming. And the olympic size pool is a treat for swimmers. The weeknd we were there it was a bit on the over chlorinated side for my tastes, but it's a fantastic pool. Very good room service menu includes a decent wine list and specialty drinks from the bar. Go check it out.

We had our wedding reception in the Prairie Ballroom on November 5th.
From the beginning, Sigita was great to work with. There are so many decisions to be made and Sigita was incredibly helpful offering advice and suggestions based on her experience.
The food during cocktail hour and dinner was amazing! We received so many compliments and comments that it was the best wedding food our guests had ever had! Also, the Hyatt Lodge was so accommodating and created delicious meals for some of our guests with strict dietary needs. Throughout the evening, my husband and I received special attention from the staff to ensure we had enough to eat and always had a drink in our hand. The entire staff was friendly and professional and we also received many remarks from our guests regarding how great they were.
Not only is the Hyatt Lodge beautiful on the inside, the grounds are equally great! We got some stunning pictures near the pond/lake and back in the “wooded” sections! I have seen the grounds during each season and I think it’s safe to say there are great photo opportunities no matter the season!
We are thrilled with how the evening went and are so happy we chose the Hyatt Lodge for our wedding reception. The entire experience from start to finish was great and everything turned out better than we imagined! We would whole-heartedly recommend the Hyatt Lodge to anyone on the hunt for a wedding venue!

Room was clean. All the rooms have balconies which is a plus. Staff was all very friendly. Ordered room service and the wings are so good. Jambalaya pasta was not good at all. Cheesecake was fantastic.

The Hyatt lodge was great. The rooms were spacious and had a great balcony. There is also a great walking trail around the lake outside the hotel. The breakfast is like McDonald's on steroids — a cool experience for sure. Will stay here again when passing through Chicago.

We were here for a wedding and we were out on the terrace, the place is amazing and service by the staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. The food was among some of the best I have had, especially among Weddings, But even better than some of the best restaurants that I have been to o. The venue is extremely beautiful and well kept up. This is definitely a place I would consider my own wedding it.

I loved my stay at the Hyatt! It's a small hotel with only 2-3 floors, but still feels upscale and homey. McDonald's art covers the walls of the hallway, and the rooms are wonderful with the spacious shower and huge soft king sized beds. We had breakfast included with our room, so we got to order any entree and drink from the Water's Edge restaurant downstairs free of charge. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice hotel/lodge. Amazing atmosphere and setting on the McDonalds corporate campus. The wedding was perfect and the food was really good. The filet mignon was tender and not dry at all! There was a "surprise" which was cool but better presentation and quality would make it better. Overall though I was really impressed!

Front desk staff was very helpful prior to my check in as I as early and their systems were down at the time of arrival. They were able to store my luggage and notified me when their systems were back up and running. I was assigned a room on the ground floor which was weird, but LOVED it once I realized I had a beautiful patio looking out into the nature trail and woods.

Love this Hyatt. The fitness center is where I spend most of my time, but I always feel welcomed and appreciated when I'm there. The food is very good, albiet pricey. I went to the bar area and loved the wings, but the personnel at this Hyatt are what make it stand out. Great fitness professionals and friendly bartenders made it a terrific experience for me personally.

Came for work, the grounds are beautiful, the service is excellent and the staff are wonderful. Only thing so far is the bed is hard a rock.

Service was fantastic. Room was very nice. Food was mediocre and the hotel bar closes way too early.

It was an odd spot at first, but very nice and relaxing. Be sure to check out the very, very, very interesting McDonald's based paintings that adorn the walls — there are some real gems. The pool is exceptional. Three restaurants is technically true, but it appears only one at a time is open. The bar is ok, but could be open earlier. The in-room bathrooms have an incredibly loud flushing toilet. The showers are nice, but there is no ceiling fan. We have stayed at Le MÉRIDIEN which is also in this area, and it was the same there too. Thus, be sure to use a public bathroom when dropping the kids off at the pool. The menu system for their TVs has incredible lag, is uninformative and all around crappy.

I visited the Hyatt lodge for a charity event. The space was clean and elegant. The food was better than expected. Burgers at the end of the night was a pleasant surprise. Overall had a fantastic time.

My husband surprised me with an over night stay here for my bday. Granted I had a great time but it was not due to the hotel but to my husbands surprises he had lined up for me. Positives: Beautiful grounds, very nice bathroom, great shower, housekeeper that brought us the extra robe had the best smile ever! Very nice pool and hot tub area as well as very nice locker room. The server/bartender Maria at the lounge was very professional and polite. Negatives: The room itself was not as clean as it should've been. The ceiling and wall paper was dusty and dirty, little menu card in the room was soiled with old food stains, drapes were dusty. My husband set up a surprise party for me and reserved seating at the fire place for us but when we got down there, it was occupied by another family and we had to wait 30 minutes beyond the reservation time we had. The food was subpar at best, not what I expected from a place of this stature. My husband also booked the package that included complimentary breakfast but was almost charged for it. They didn't comp it until he reminded them of the package AND the mishap that took place in regards to our party reservation not being set up on time. And finally the spa reservation he booked for our couples massage was 30 minutes late also. The therapists were running behind that morning. When they were finally ready for us, we were greeted by two woman who seemed to be confused as to who was massaging who.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean but my duvet and bottom sheet also consisted of a regular top sheet so I slept basically on the mattress and bare comforter. Kinda reminded me of a poorly built big mac. Otherwise, great hotel.

Beautiful setup for a wedding. The area for the cocktail hour was a bit small, but otherwise, it was a fantastic place. The views and surrounding areas were beautiful.

Took me 3 calls to even get someone on the phone and when I did they were fairly unpleasant. They grumpily gave me a price and when I said, "thank you, but that is more than we want to spend" they hung up the phone without saying a word. terrible customer service. Not good when you get one star before I even get to spend a night.

Came here for a relaxing day in the spa and pool. Absolutely loved it, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. The only complaint was that the hour flew by too fast during the massage. (haha) Highly recommend this place for a quick get away for parents.

First time at the Hotel. Wonderful settiing. Despite the one review it is not hard to find and it has been upgraded. I had a heck of time figuring out the TV and when you walk into the room the TV comes on and says Welcome with your name. Pretty impressive. Yes, we'd stay there again. Our grandkids loved the pool. It is perfect for a weekend getaway. We found it very comfortable and inviting and a good rate for the Oak Brook area.

I attended a wedding at the area and a bunch of us had rooms at The Hyatt after. When you think of The Hyatt Lodge you tend to think quality, when you think of McDonalds. Maybe not so much. However this is on McDonald's Campus so don't let it fool you — this is one of the better Hyatt's out there! Nestled in middle of Oak Brook's quieter area (aka: away from the mall ad surrounding businesses) the Lodge is hidden away in the McDonald's Campus and not only has absolutely beautiful rooms but a great lounge area and wonderful amenities as well. The wedding reception here was just a complete blast and as the next day was of course a recovery I couldn't tell you we took advantage of all of the amenities that were offered but the food and pool were both great. With it's location and style I gather weddings are the most social you'll get here and it's more targeted for business travelers but if you are looking for a unique out of the way area in Oak Brook this should be up near the top of your list. With an onsite spa and family activities it should be by no means confined to just business travelers. I'd absolutely recommend a stay here.

This is a first class Hyatt property. As a business traveler, I frequently stay in Hyatt properties and as of late have been less impressed with the customer service provided. But I cannot say enough good things about this property. The room was warm and inviting and every interaction with the staff was pleasant. I will definitely stay at the Hyatt property in the future.

This facility is a non traditional hotel beautiful surroundings. Excellent facilities. And a great staff. Great place for privacy.

I came in and stayed the weekend to attend the Ryder Cup. Being a Hyatt property I felt certain the room would be clean and well maintained. On the contrary we had a huge issue. I was staying in room 111. The first time I took a shower, the water backed up 3-4 inches in the tub. I was very disgusted since this is a shower that is used by travelers all the time. I stopped by the office and mentioned the issue. They said Maintenance would be by to fix it. I was gone all day at the golf tournament so there was ample time to fix it. When I came back to the room I could see that the shower plug was pulled out and sitting in the tub. The next shower I took the same problem occurred. I stayed three nights. Each day the same issue. It was never resolved. Upon checking out I was asked how my stay was. I informed the attendant of my issue and that it was not resolved. I was provided an apology that was not sincere at all. The person's body language spoke volumes to that. He did offer to give me a credit. He credited a $3.50 bottle of water that I drank in the room. I was offended he did not do more or go get the manager. It was a very disappointing stay. And if you get Room good luck to you.
