Was here for a Holiday Party and it’s a great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. I wanted tea at the absolute end of the night and they went out of their way to make sure I had honey and lemon. I’ve stayed here before but would love to spend a day or 2 there.

Attended a conference here. The org that put on the conference did not ask about food allergies. That’s fine — I was prepared to purchase a meal. I let one of the wait staff know I couldn’t eat dairy and asked if I’d be able to eat any of what they served. The kitchen made me a salad I could eat. Was very nice of them!

Great hotel convenient to O’Hare, restaurants and offices.

When we first checked in had no one outside to help with bags or parking. We wanted some body lotion and took them almost two hours. This hotel is a great hotel if you only want to give a two star price. Not the experience we expected.

We only stayed one night but it was a very clean and lovely hotel. Very convenient to go out to eat and shopping. I just wish they would of had bacon at breakfast for the buffet.

Great place to stay while in or near Chicago. Staff were all welcoming. Clean, quiet, comfortable, Convenient location. Extra special thanks to Maxine, who not only helped us make adjustments at the last minute, but also went above and beyond with helping us, when after arriving home 4 hours away — my SO realized he lost his car keys somewhere in Chicago. We called the hotel and were told that they couldn’t look in the room and would have to wait until the next day. Maxine called and let us know that she found them and was able to assist us by Fedex-ing them to us the next day! We will definitely keep Le Méridian in mind for our next stay in Illinois!

Le Méridien Chicago — Oak Brook is a fantastic hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here for a friend's wedding. The staff were extremely accommodating and kind. The rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. This hotel will be my number one choice when returning to the area.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic! I loved how close it was the the cheesecake factory and many other great restaurants all within walking distance! The rates were extremely reasonable and it was pretty classy. The gym had nice equipment and a decent view. I'd absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at this chic artsy hotel! Found the staff very kind and friendly. Valet was very helpful when we arrived and departed. Loved the top floor restaurant. Wonderful view! Great proximity to Oakbrook shopping and other restaurants. We will be back!

The room was nice and modern (although our view of the parking lot was nothing special). The bed was super cozy. Our only complaint was that we had no cell service in our room (AT&T). Be prepared to make your calls with Google Voice. Pleasant stay.

Crazy expensive, nothing included in price as far as amenities, except maybe a bottle of water? I never figured it out because I was afraid to crack it for fear of the price increasing even more. No Continental or courtesy breakfast. Just a dining area with food there to be ordered. The service and staff were amazing and friendly and the room was clean and nice. For the price, though, a cheaper hotel would have done just fine.

Very nice hotel. Location is very convenient to Oakbrook mall, rooms are clean, nice and well equipped. In room mini bar makes an otherwise great presentation feel a little cheap but overall it's nice. The fitness room is good. The club lounge is very nice looking but doesn't offer a lot other than some soda and breakfast in the morning.

Here for a wedding reception and overnight stay. Staff was superb. Food was great. Room was delightful.

Was visiting potential wedding venues with my family and the staff was very knowledgeable and happy to help show us around and answer all our questions!

Had a couple issues, the AC didn't work in our room. I happened to grab an engineer in the hall and let him know as we were heading out but when we got back the room was still especially warm.

Beautiful well-appointed hotel close-by to restaurants and shops. A bed was comfortable the only complaint is the pillows. Staff has been fantastic and accommodating.

We've stayed here four times over the last 8 months and it's generally been a good experience. The rooms are quiet the beds comfortable and the bathrooms are decent. There is a charge for Wi-Fi but if you're a Starwood Preferred Guest member it's free of charge. My two complaints are that parking is always difficult to come by in the evenings, but if they are having an event (there was a wedding reception during our last stay), you'll have to park somewhere far away in the mall lot. They do have valet, but honestly, I don't see why I should have to pay for convenient parking because the hotel is selling its services to partiers. My second complaint is there's are no microwaves in the rooms and the only fridge is a mini that's stocked with overpriced beverages.

The room was clean with comfortable beds. Staff was very friendly and polite. The in-hotel coffee shop was excellent although pricey.

I chose to stay in an upscale Hotel because I thought I would be able to possibly control the temperature in my room like you can in a $39 a night Red Roof Inn but no you cannot and so I had 2 hours of sleep because my room was 80 degrees — — — After a rough start they made up for it the second night with a corner room (a must when booking) that was temperature controlled in room.

(Edit: the manager helped us out and the issue was resolved. We were moved to a room where we can control the temp, and they asked us to stay our last night) Really… I'm a patient person and not mean. But this place has pissed me off. To start, you can't control the heat in the rooms. So at 4am, and you're sweating, at least the night staff will try and solve the problem. But a fan isn't a solution. You need someone to look at these thermostats. Maybe they are broken! They …did try to solve the issue by giving us the joined room. The person in charge was sincere about it! Second, we prepaid one room for 2 nights. And since the night shift did their best to solve the issue by giving us the joined room to try and sleep in (really I appreciate the effort), the morning shift most likely forgot to read the night shift notes about our situation. So guess what happened? Yeah. Our joined room was sold and the morning staff assumed we were checking out of our original room today. No… No get it together. We prepaid for 2 nights and were given a second room because the heat was hard to handle. Third, I work 3rds. I'm trying to sleep and some poor door tech is trying to get into this joined room (because of point 2: the room was assumed empty and thus sold and the front thought we were getting out at 12pm today… only after our first night). He was sent after the new guests could not get in. I'm pretty sure he was scared when he realized that he woke me up.

Very nice, clean, and comfortable hotel room. Customer service was terrible! My stay at the Le Meridan was just for one night only and the staff here were very unwelcoming. Being an African American woman in the area I should never feel unwanted or unwelcomed, but I did. One young lady at the front desk (didn’t get her name) stared at me most of the time of me trying to check in and barely wanted to service me because of the color of my skin. Never will stay here again!

I had dinner at the restaurant. It was a nice place, good Valentine's date. Live music was good and the service was excellent. We asked for a lot of substitutions and things on the pre fixed menu and they were very welcoming. Great experience.

I was in for a dinner at El Tapeo. The lobby and staff of the hotel seemed very nice. The downstairs bar was pretty well stocked. The views and good at El Tapeo are really great though. They have a well stocked bar and creative dishes. I definitely recommend a meal here.

Came here for a social event at the restaurant located at the top in the hotel called El Tapeo. The restaurant is nice with modern decor. The food and drinks were good.

Everyone was super helpful. Brought us up toothpaste when we forgot. The 9th floor has drinks when you need them. Gym is good.

The staff is incredibe. The room is average size but very comfortable. Lots of windows and nice natural light. I do wish they offered a complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi, given the price.

On the surface this looks like an amazing hotel. Great location. Friendly staff. I really liked the updated style and layout. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Overall very clean and smelled nice. However, the walls were so thin that I could hear the person next door and above me coughing, snoring, going to the bathroom, etc all night long. On top of that, the room doors slam close so all hours of the night you can hear doors being slammed. I'm a soft sleeper so I got up and turned the AC fan on but it kicked on and off every 5-7 minutes which in return woke me up too. Finally, they have such a tiny parking lot that I had to wait 10-15 minutes last night to snag a spot. Only spots available were the valet spots. I had to be up at 4AM this morning and I was lucky to get maybe one hour of sleep. Beautiful hotel but built cheaply so you can't get a good night rest. Will never go back to this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and well secured but the room was booked for a party and they bothered us about music. It was a club above us so I'm wondering what did the guests expect especially when I overheard conversations about going to the bar on the top floor. However, I would say it was a tad racist but eventually they left us alone.

It's located in the heart of the Oakbrook shopping mall so there's plenty to do if you're on a work trip.

Overall the stay was okay, but we were told at check in that there were no king beds available even after we reserved one when we made the reservation. Then at night some other guests on our floor had a loud conversation, and we could hear them talking through our door. Otherwise, room was clean and in good shape for the one night we stayed.

I was recently married in September 2nd 2017 and I chose to stay at Le Meridian Oakbrook. I went through Victoria who is absolutely amazing. I however can not say the same for my experience when staying at the hotel. Upon my check in I was informed that the room was not ready because the people in the room before me had checked out 2 1/2 hours late. I was told I could check in at a certain time so that's when I arrieved. I let the man behind the desk know I had 2 cars full of things for my wedding and he said I don't know what to tell you it won't be ready for another two hours. I said that's not my problem that they checked out late, and he said that it wasn't his problem and the room would be ready in two hours. Luckily my mom had a room there and I was able to hang up my dress. I also made gift bags for my guests staying at the hotel but when I asked guests if they liked the bags only one person had received a bag. I was highly disappointed as I spent about $375 dollars on making those gift bags for guests. Aside from this the rooms were clean and quiet and Victoria's was extremely nice and helpful, for that I gave the 3 stars.

Love this place! Clean and modern decor. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I feel lucky to have found this hotel. I had originally had reservations at a Best Western Plus Chicagoland Countryside hotel and they had bed bugs and I seen a roach. And it was $150 a night. Appalling! Same rate at Le Meridien. I would definitely return to this establishment.

The rooms are nice, and the customer service is absolutely great during my stay. The parking is a little interesting since it is located by the mall but I would stay here again.

I attended a bridal shower here. The venue was beautiful and the staff were phenomenal! The lighting was also perfect for photography.

I thought it was good. The breakfast was above average, but too expensive. The rooms were furnished well with good decoration. The staff were friendly. The fitness center has a wonderful view. The location beside the oakbrook center was handy. But nothing particularly stood out for me.

Front desk staff is helpful and friendly. They forgot to stock my shower with shampoo & conditioner​, though. Made my morning less than great. Room is fine, pillows are nice. Outdoor patio great for a glass of wine with coworkers after a long day.

By far, our favorite hotel in the area. We have stayed twice now and both times have been blown away by the staff. All members of the team at Le Meridien go above and beyond. We stayed for three nights during the holiday season while celebrating a family Christmas. The hotel was the perfect space for everyone to hang out and celebrate. We initially had a room without a bathtub which is pretty much necessary for our toddler — we requested a room switch and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to an Executive Suite. The room is extra roomy with a separate living bedroom and beautiful bathroom (complete with large soaking tub). The food in the main dining area (Longitude 87) is all delicious although it does take a bit. There are also tons of dining options within walking distance at Oakbrook Mall. If you have time, book a spa service at the in house Spa Suite (Tipsy is amazing), it is such a hidden gem and reasonably priced! By the end of our stay, the staff basically knew our whole extended family and we actually wanted to stay longer! We will definitely be back next time we are in town. Absolutely recommend this hotel if you are in the area!

Four of us enjoyed tapas and drinks. We sat at a comfy sofa in the bar area. No reservations and no wait, but we arrived at 7pm. The service was consistent and food arrived timely. Great view from the seventh floor. Chicago ambiance and food the burbs.

This place is very modern and it reminds me of ikea. By that I mean it looks new and modern but kind of cheap. The two bar/restaurants inside are excellent and I do enjoy staying here when I visit. The staff is very helpful and respectful. Those two things keep me coming back.

My new Wife and I recently stayed at the Le Meridien Hotel in Oakbrook for our wedding this past week. The service there is outstanding! all of the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had reserved a standard room as the suites were too high for our budget. However when I arrived and checked in, they had reserved me a suite anyway. When I talked to the manager to make sure that they hadn't gotten anything wrong on the reservation, he said that the suite was a gift for our wedding and that we would be charged the normal room rate. When I arrived in the room they had set up a dog bed for our dog, and even had a custom made treat with our dog's name on it. The rest of my family stayed at the hotel as well and really enjoyed it. The accommodations are very modern/European which might or might not be your thing, but everything is very clean and nice, and the staff are amazing and at a rate that's not much more than hotels half as nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in the area.

I rarely (if ever) write reviews. Not simply for hotels, but for any experience. But I felt compelled to share. Hands down one of the best hotels I've stayed in. I am in the military and Ive stayed in many hotels in my life. Great rate, great service, extremely nice rooms. This is my go-to hotel each time I'm at drill in Chicago!

My husband and I decided to have a little babymoon this past weekend. We booked this hotel with high hopes based on the photos we saw on Expedia. As soon as we checked in, we found out there is no pool, not bathtub (only standing shower), and really nothing for us to enjoy. I called Expedia to see if we could immediately leave the hotel and go to a place more suited for our babymoon and an 8 month pregnant woman. The hotel manager (Frank G. ) would not authorize a cancellation for either night. So, we were stuck and unhappy. The service level is not on par with similar hotels. The food in the Club was exactly the same Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I am very disappointed in this hotel.

As an avid traveler, I have visited all parts of the globe and have stayed the night at some of the sketchiest hostels to 5 star luxury villas and hotels. I have come to accept that hotels are a business and that customer service are more of a forced pretense than it is a form of genuine practice. I had no reason to expect any different from my recent stay at Le Meridien Chicago, but I was happily proven wrong. The accommodations were average and the hotel itself was intentionally modern but what impressed me was the pleasant and genuine nature of the staff. One person in particular, FRANK GIAMETTA, stood above all the rest. Frank went above and beyond to ensure that me and my friends stay was a great experience rather than a normal satisfactory one. His enjoyable nature made it rather easy for us to open up to him and his jokes and recommendations when driving us around town was nothing short of an adventure of fun and laughter. Did I mention that they have a Mercedes SUV as a personal shuttle for guest? Our encounter with Frank was compiled of a short drive to Walgreens and a few passing's in the entrance way. Needless to say, he made a great impression on us all. Sometimes all it takes to make your vacation an enjoyable one is to run into an individual who loves their job and takes the time to appreciate their customers. I intend on making Le Meridien Chicago my number one hotel anytime that I return to the Chicago area.

AMAZING! This is my first time staying at Le Meridien and I can't wait to come back. If you like to shop and relax this is the spot. Perhaps this is new for me, but they are setup with Oakbrook Center to drop off my shopping bags at the hotel. That made it really simple and convenient for me to continue shopping. When I returned to the hotel I received a warm welcome from the Bellman and Front Desk. Since I didn't have anything planned for the rest of the afternoon I decide to make an appointment for a massage. That was the perfect way to relax and unwind. Oh and one more thing, they let me stay in the Spa suite for an additional 45 minutes to truly relax.

Wow! Beautifully renovated with sleek modern finishes. Amazing staff. I enjoyed a massage in an ultra-luxurious Spa Suite — one of the best spa services I've ever had!
