Stayed in Room 324. Room smelled of mold/mildew. I found out it was coming from the A/C & Heating unit in the morning. When I told the General Manager that was working the desk, she didn't even seemed concerned. It was so bad, it burned my nose & throat. Now for breakfast. It starts at 6 am. I arrived for breakfast at 7:30. No batter for waffles, there were no eggs. I sprayed the waffle maker and when removed, the waffle was stuck to both sides and not done in the middle. I just left the mess because I couldn't get it out. No one to talk to. The GM and the fellow that was taking care of the breakfast were sitting in her office drinking coffee. Now for Checkout. I waited and waited for one of them to notice me. Finally the guy told her I was there. My bowling team is going to Witchita next year. We would be booking 3 rooms for about 3-4 days. It won't be at this Country Inn & Suites! One good thing … the evening check-in lady was very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. 08/30/18 The Owner requested that I should have brought this to the attention at check out. Well, I did … I spoke with the AM Gen. Manager (that is what her name tag said) … regarding the smell in the room when I checked out and requested that they check the filter of the AC/Heating unit for mold/mildew. As for the breakfast, I had to go to the GM to ask if there was going to be any waffle batter (which she responded … "he is making it").
Had a mistake with our reservation and they fixed it for us! It was awesome and so wonderful. The stay was quiet and restful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and bathroom. Breakfast is what they always do but still a great stop.
