Nice place! Rooms are nice! Picked the wrong time to come, kids soccer tournament going on. Very busy.

Despite booking an accessible double queen room weeks ago, and calling directly to the hotel to confirm that we needed an accessible room, when I arrived they had booked me at a different hotel, not with an accessible room. They were very nonchalant about sending me to another hotel. Said I can move back to the Marriott tomorrow because maybe someone stayed an extra day or something and that’s why my room isn’t available tonight. What? You do not let someone stay in a room that is already booked! Also, when we have to move all our stuff again tomorrow they don’t have us booked in an accessible room anyway. I’d already unloaded my child’s wheelchair from the van and had to load it back up and unload it at another hotel, then do it all again tomorrow. Then, when I got to the hotel they sent me to they hadn’t made a reservation for me and we had to start all over making a reservation that would have been less expensive if I had booked here weeks ago instead of the Marriott. Worst Marriott experience ever. So disappointed. I hope our conference is held elsewhere next year. The people beside us had been put in the wrong room as well, and as they didn’t have another room for them someone said he would sleep on the floor.

We loved staying at this hotel! Everything was perfect from service to cleanliness, tasty food at the restaurant and awesome fitness center with new equipment and indoor/outdoor pool. Will definitely stay again if we come back to Wichita.

This hotel is awesome. Totally redone on the inside. Walk-in shower, sofa, and big TV. Great indoor and outdoor pool!

Kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool. Rooms are nice and newly renovated.

Virtually no amenities and the pool was disgusting because the pumps weren't being run and very little chlorine. Tons of hair and such just floating in stagnant ice cold water. Room was very small considering the price. No coffee maker or microwave and the bathroom door latch is broken.

Very beautiful, friendly staff I wish they had fans for there guests no bath tubs or hot tub but they do have beautiful rooms.

The bed was so comfortable. It is great to have a mini-fridge in the room. The conference center catering was very tasty.

My wife and I got up graded to the governers Suite. What great hospitality. The concierge lounge was great. Crab cakes and some kind of tenderloin with brown rice and vegetables. The host was very courteous. Highly recommend this hotel.

The amazing server we had on 8-4-19 Sunday brunch (Shannon B). She made sure my daughter had a fun birthday! And the food was so delicious! We will be back and will only sit in Shannon’s section.

Great place to stay nice and clean place.

Diana mostly for going over and beyond to resolve my booking mistake. Every contact from redcap to waitstaff, housekeeping and desk clerks were cheerful, welcoming and efficient. The key card elevator needs fine-tuning. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Although the road construction was bad to get through the hotel itself along with the staff were awesome! The room was great. The layout is very nice. The hotel was CLEAN! very clean! Again staff was great.

Attended a conference. Staff was courteous and attentive. Seating was adequate but could have been spaced more appropriately. Food was served in abundant quantity but left some quality to be desired. Certainly a functional venue, though I can't comment on cost as I was not an organizer for the event.

The venue is nice for the conference I am attending. It is obvious that the lobby and meeting areas have been renovated. My room has not though. It is fairly clean and comfortable but definitely dated. I believe some of the rooms have been renovated though. I must've received one that hadn't been yet.

This hotel is excellent. They informed us before our stay and when we checked in at the front desk that the rooms were under construction. We did not hear any noise from the construction but we did see posters in the lobby alerting us of the "transformation in progress". The entire staff was so personable and very helpful. Our room was very clean, quiet and quite comfortable. I can't wait to see what the new rooms will look like. Overall fantastic staff, fantastic food and a fantastic hotel.

Enjoyed our stay here. Lobby and restaurant were great. My wife enjoyed the nicely cooked burger she ordered from the restaurant. We met friends in the lobby area and the staff really looked after us. The room was clean, neat and well taken care of. It was easy to check in for our departing flight using the business. This will be out hotel during future visits to ICT.

I had a great experience here. They have Jacuzzi, pool, Breakfast buffet. It was clean, the beds were and pillows we're soft, that I didn't want to get out of the bed. Was able to choose the level I wanted. It was quiet, and me and my kids enjoyed it here. It smells good when you first walk in the hotel. The staff were excellent, I felt like a celeberty here, and all I paid was $110.00 I got more than what I paid. Good job guys on creating a good experience for me and my family.

I've stayed at this hotel every few months over the last two years when traveling to Wichita on business. The rooms are comfortable, the food is great, and the service is second-to-none. Highly recommend when staying in Wichita.

When ever family comes to town this is where they stay. Great service. They also have on site complimentary laundry facilities. The restaurant has great food and service as well.

Beat hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff is so helpful, kind and accommodating. The food is delicious. And I absolutely love the VIP Lounge. The bar is nice to relax and and then the breakfast is amazing. Rooms and so cosy. Don't forget the pool and hot tub so fun for the whole family.

An excellent full-service Marriott. Rooms are large, and rates are relatively low for a full-fledged Marriott property. Very nice, very large indoor pool and weight facility. Walking trails and a small pond around the property. Good location next to I-35 for north-south, and right on a major East-West freeway as well.

It's been a while since I've stayed at this location. Love the M Lounge and the people are the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the warm cookies but didn't check out the restaurant on this trip.

The only thing I would critique would be to add turkey to the breakfast buffet, as I don't eat pork. The beds were a tad small but I got the best sleep I've had in a long time on them! Excellent hospitality! Ronne the front desk attendant is a jewel! Maybe add a couple more people to the wait staff in the dining area. But really just an excellent stay!

Newly renovated Marriott. The lobby area is nice, and the rooms are clean and mostly updated. This property has one of the newest "M Club Lounge" properties, so the lounge experience is top notch. The fitness area is well appointed and nice, and the machines are well maintained. A nice choice for a Marriott.

I stay at the Marriott in Wichita on drill weekends and before deployments. This last stay was by far my favorite. The staff is amazing. Food is delicious even though it's a bit expensive. And whatever you need they will try to provide it for you. I always have a great stay when I stay there.

Excellent staff, clean trendy spaces, tasteful Christmas decor, good food. I have no complaints and that's rare! The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool, a gym, and as a bonus feature, they provide a free washer and dryer with detergent a s dryer sheets to boot. I love that because I can't count how many times I've needed to do laundry on the road without pricy laundry service fees and other nuisances.

I went to see a friend whose family had a room booked for a couple of nights. Their room had just been cleaned and it was spotless. The blankets on the beds were crisp and everything looked fresh and nice. We went swimming which was awesome! Loved the pool and hot tub! I'm thinking about booking a room there for my next birthday. It's a very lovely place!

Had a blast at our company Christmas party held here. Plenty of room and a dance floor. Was a little warm, but there was a lot of people and we were all dressed up so that may have been the reason. Beautiful decorations and an enjoyable experience.

My favorite hotel in Wichita. Great rooms. Free Wi-Fi that's fast and reliable. The bar downstairs has good food and the staff is always nice and provides great service. It's nice to have this option to eat here, especially after a long day of work and you don't want to go out to eat. Plenty of parking out front.

We had our company Christmas Party in the large ballroom. The room is huge. It comfortably fit our group of almost 400 people. The staff is great and very helpful. The food was delicious! I definitely hope the company has the Christmas Party there in the future!

There isn't much around the property except other motels. That's about the only issue I have with this hotel. It is on the high end of what I expect to find at a Marriott. Lobby, rooms and staff have been excellent. I don't give 5 stars very often, but thus property has earned it.

I visited the Marriott for an event, and I must say: the service was excellent. Since I didn't stay the night, I can't comment on the rooms, but if you're needing a conference center, look into here! Front desk staff was incredibly professional, and were able to direct me where I needed to go. Kitchen staff who served meals were professional, savvy, and the food was wonderful. Bar service was excellent, lounge was comfortable. I have nothing but positives to say about the conference. With this sort of service, I bet the rooms are just as professionally done. Will certainly stay here the next time I'm in the Wichita area.

While I had no problems with my stay I did leave my apple watch charger on the nightstand between the beds. I called the day following my stay and asked to have it mailed back to me. They said someone would call me back. I waited a week — then called again. They again said someone would call me back. I am now 3 days from that call with no callback and they have not sent the charger back. Once again when I called today they said they would call me back. EDIT — Despite early communication issues they did resolve my issue. While they could not find my charger, they ended up replacing it. This was a very unexpected and appreciated customer service act.

The Wichita Marriott is a wonderful resort. The rooms are a good size and are serviced twice a day. The staff are polite and helpful and helped create a lovely relaxing holiday. The food was always great with a lot of variety and they had a nice menu too.

Location was excellent, close to both shopping and restaurants. The rooms were good sized, clean, and very comfortable beds. Front desk was friendly and efficient.

I really like this hotel. Stay here fairly often. Good breakfast, nice concierge lounge although I don't know I've ever had dinner in the restaurant. The hotel gym is acceptable, the location is decent and the staff are friendly. The rooms are comfortable, but would probably benefit from some updates.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Was able to check in early with no issues. Rooms are clean and sized appropriately. Centrally located and close to a lot around it.

This is a very classy hotel. The front lobby is very welcoming, with lots of couches and tables for guests to enjoy. The rooms are clean and the beds were very nice. We stayed there for a wedding over Labor Day. However, the hotel is 10+ stories tall and one of the three elevators was out of service, so it took a bit of time to reach the lobby (even from the second floor! ) Fellow guests raved about the pool and hot tub area. Highly recommend the Hospitality room for weddings — it was a great place for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready and take pictures.

The location is very convenient off the highway, and near a lot of shopping and dining options around town. The rooms are very nice, comfortable, clean and modern. The service is darn near impeccable and friendly. Highly recommended!

While the lobby is updated, the rooms haven't been touched since the 80s. However, the bed is the most comfortable I've slept in since I can remember and the staff is very nice and helpful. Overall it's a pleasant stay.

I love it. Eh been here in various coercions and always ah been all perfect. Clean and comfortable. The service is great. The food is not the best but the drinks in the bar are delicious.

The hotel itself looks brand new, though I know that it has been around for a few years. The room itself was comfortable and quiet and allowed me to get work done. The lobby and restaurant areas were so nice and I was told by one of the managers that it had recently been completely renovated and they had free WI/FI. The food and service at the bar and in the restaurant was exceptional. Overall I would say this is one of the best if not the best hotels in Wichita.

Me and my went to fireside grille for our 1st wedding anniversary dinner. The steaks were great and cooked to the right temperature. Wine selection are great as well. The only note is that, the are wet aged for 22 days, not dry aged.

Love, Love, Love this hotel! As a repeat customer here I am always greeted by the door man and front desk staff by name and with a smile. The staff are always smiling, friendly and engaging. Great service in the dining room as well, EXCELLENT Sunday brunch. John was our server for breakfast and brunch on our recent stay and he was very attentive and got to know my husband and I. I was impressed to see that John and the other servers remembered customers drink preferences and greeted them by name. You can tell the people who work here truly love their work and this is more than just a job to them! The hotel is older but rooms are comfortable and my daughter loves the indoor/outdoor pool. I have been staying at this hotel at least once a month for the last year and will continue to do so. Thank you for providing a nice home away from home experience!

What a great staff for events and lodging! Can't get over the customer service! They go above and beyond expectations! There's no reason to leave. They have a great bar, restaurant, pool and venue halls. What a place!

We have been enjoying the holiday buffets at this Marriott for over 10 years. We missed them during the remodel, glad they are back. Although pricey, the food is delicious, and the staff is always pleasant. The Easter buffet was smaller than the Thanksgiving buffet, but plenty to choose from. My husbands only complaint was the beef was tough. (first time I can remember that he has complained about that). We are looking forward to the Mother's Day buffet next month. See you there!

The best beds I have ever slept in hands down. And the pillows where so soft! And the staff is one in a million! Will stay there every time I come and visit Wichita.

My stay was very nice and enjoyable. I don't like in Kansas but when I go up there every year I always stay at the Wichita Marriott. My only problem is that the elevators are incredibly slow but that also could just be from the amount of people there. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

We were just overnight guests on our way through town, so our stay wad only a few hours. The front desk was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were soft — maybe a little too soft because I woke up with a sore back. I would stay there again.

Staff is always professional and friendly. We host many large events requiring rooms and conference space frequently. Management is always accommodating and helps to organize events. Great hotel all around.

I attended an event at this location. They have a large parking lot. Signs were posted inside to make it easy to find the event location. The meeting room was large and very nicely furnished.

Attended a work banquet at this hotel. Wait staff was awesome. Food was average for large mass gatherings (like weddings). The hotel was clean and accommodating.

We attended a political rally at the Marriott. Everything seemed well maintained and the chairs were comfortable. I have been to other events there in the past and it's always been a good experience.

Each year the Kansas Bluegrass Association hosts their Winter Festival at the Wichita Marriott. It draws a large crowd each year. The Marriott is very accommodating to our group. It is an unusual weekend. There is music being played in all the secondary rooms and the main stage is in the ballroom and in the halls around the ballroom. The hotel always makes everyone feel very welcome. They renovated the rooms in the past couple of years which was beds are comfy although only full size beds in the double rooms. I do wish this hotel offers free breakfasts like so many other hotels do now. Their breakfast is a nice buffet but is expensive in my opinion. Great venue for a large gathering. Probably would not choose it though over other area hotels if not coming here for a reason. Small beds and charging for breakfast affect the overall value.

Everyone was really nice and breakfast was great. The pool and hot tub are amazing! The rooms are nice but the beds are not very comfortable and the fan made an obnoxious noise that was really annoying while you were trying to sleep.

I wish there was a way to just leave feedback on the brunch here so I wouldn't have to ruin their stars here and so I could warn people. We had a large party of 14 that we called ahead by two days. Reservations set after giving a name, number, and how many kids menu. Or so we thought. They claimed we didn't make reservations when we first arrived followed by oh well the person told us you had reservations this morning but it didn't get written down. With all the prime rib gone and most of the food put away they offered to let us done there but it would take a little bit to set a place for us. So with such a generous offer to pay full price for next to nothing we declined and were let out the door. No real appology ever made. Absolutely horrendous service.

Attended a wedding reception here. It was nice except they had credit card issues which made opening a bar tab problematic.

Stayed at the Marriott in October for a meeting. My colleagues and I really enjoyed the new bar and restaurant area. All of the employees seemed to really enjoy their jobs and were very friendly, great service is all areas. The meeting rooms were comfortable and the meals were wonderful. My room was very clean and comfortable. Having free Wi-Fi was very helpful and allowed for me to Skype with my kids at home. I have stayed at many other hotels in the area, though it may not be the newest hotel, the Marriott is my favorite place to stay.

Great Wi-Fi. Nice rooms and surprising gym for a Marriott. TVs were deplorable (no HDMI and low resolution) not enough outlets near bed. Definitely a 4 out 5. But missing a couple of pieces for me to give them a 5

DISSAPOINTING AND DISRESPECTFUL After staying at the Wichita Marriot several years ago for a gala I immediately thought of them for hosting a small (10 person) birthday/anniversary party for my family. I called the hotel to confirm that we would be able to setup the party with outside food and drinks and was told by the front desk assistant that we could setup at the pool inside or outside. I booked a room for my parents through Priceline soon after. Unfortunately, this was the beginning of a disappointing weekend. Saturday morning my parents were told that we could not have the party at the pool and the manager on staff, Michelle suggested a private dining room at the Great Room. Later she said that we couldn’t have it in their either and suggested we rent a hospitality suite for $350! Shelia at the front desk tried to accommodate our family as much as possible, but Michelle, the manager, would not allow it. Michelle called myself and father a liar and that we would have never been told that setting up in the pool was acceptable. I explained to Michelle that there are plenty of other hotels and I would have booked a different one if that were the case. Michelle was extremely rude and disrespectful; even the other staff members said she needed to be reported because the main supervisor doesn’t realize how poorly she treats hotel guests!

Not pleased with service at the front desk at all. Dated hotel but they charge you still like it's not. Breakfast cost $12!? I could have gotten better service, AND free breakfast somewhere else.

Staff service was prompt and friendly. There was a technical issue with the signal for the room TV, which was promptly and completely addressed shortly after the issue was reported. Unlike the commentator who experienced "theft" from his room by the staff, I found the staff to be extremely courteous, helpful and transparent — consistent with my experiences at most Marriott facilities. It is not a new building but shows careful care. The food service is about what you would expect from a Marriott — a bit pricey for the area but in line with business/expense account oriented facilities. The free internet service was as good as or better than most hotels I have experienced — decent bandwidth and stable. Meeting facilities are adequate. Banquet services are a bit on the meager side compared to other seminars I routinely attend. However, this may be a function of the contract and not a reflection of the facility.

Staff was friendly and attentive. I like the indoor/outdoor pool. May have to come back this summer just to swim between the two sections. Chose to stay here rather than chance it in Hutchinson, I think we made the right choice. The bed is very comfortable, nice size room and a quality flat screen TV in the room. Only complaints are that the internet service was slow (but free) and that the water pressure was a little weak. They have a large, flat head shower fixture (nice touch) but weak water pressure takes away form the experience. I would stay here again.
