Such a great little community of homey cabins. Rustic and in a beautiful setting. Cabin had great amenities and outdoor seating options. Would definitely come back.

place ever! thank you! the lovely couple who run it were delightful, super accommodating. Eveything you need is right on premise, grills, hot tub, games, trails etc. Set your hammock up and the in all the glory of estes park!

This was our first time staying at Pine Haven and we will be back! It’s such a cute and cozy place! We stayed in the Black Bear cabin and we were amazed by all the cute details throughout the cabin and the resort. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed! The staff was incredible and very helpful. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub a few nights too, so that was a special add on to the resort. The area is quiet also… we even had an up close and personal encounter with a huge elk one morning right by our cabin! We also enjoyed hiking on the trail to deer mountain summit from the resort. I highly recommend Pine Haven… can’t say enough good things about it!

The people who met me at the desk we very friendly and helpful. This place is so close to downtown but you would never know because it is so quite on the property.

Amazing stay! Cozy little cabins with the perfect decorating touches! George and his wife made this such a comfortable, relaxing place! Even with a snow storm and 2 ft of snow, we had a perfect trip! We found our new spot to have a get away to! Highly recommended!

My FAVORITE place to stay in Estes! The owners are beyond fabulous and room unique and very clean. I love that Fall River rins right in front of the property and you can hear it at night. I'm obsessed with the quick location to either Estes Park or Rocky Mountain National Park and all the wildlife. I made a chipmunk friend, saw turkeys and of course elk! So good. I hate leaving this review because I don't want the secret to get out! ️️

One of my most relaxing vacations, things to do for kids (like a playground and sport things), and the cabins them selves are super cute and cozy (we're staying in cabin 3//Aztec and is really nice), the Wi-Fi is also good.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed in! They were super inviting, nice, helpful, and overall amazing. They made the cabins here themed and we had the fisherman’s cabin for about 4-5days. I love that they have specific parking for each cabin, a kitchen and very comfortable places to sleep. The area is beautiful, next to a nice river, and lots of activities to do even on the site of the cabin! Plus there’s a trail behind the cabins you can hike! Definitely going to be coming back here the next time I visit Estes Park again!

This is THE place to stay in Estes. The owners are some of the sweetest people on the planet and the accommodations are unique, high end cabins that you'll never want to leave. It is right on Fall River and you can hear the water if you open your windows at night. Clean, beyond comfortable and in the forest — a perfect stay!

This place is amazing and in an awesome location! The cabins are beautiful and cozy with plenty of space. Their grounds offer a hiking trail that is worth the effort, a nice fire pits, beautiful resting places along Falls River, individual parking spot, and an amazing staff. Will definitely be back!

I came here after an awful experience with the Stanley. This is absolutely a Rocky Mountain experience. The cabins are beautiful and themed. No, they are not 5 star complexes but much better in this environment. Warm and comforting instead of the sterile cookie cutter that would be way out of place in this environment. I feel like I’m living in a historic log cabin. It’s the perfect ending to a day of hiking, or an even better day snowed in with a cup of tea and a book. They respect their guests and make sure it is kept peaceful and quiet. More important are the owners. I booked on air bnb which told us we could check in earlier than they had available. They were so apologetic, offered to give me another cabin, and when I told them it was completely fine they gave me three precious little gifts and a bundle of free fire wood. This is family owned and they bring you in as if you are one of their own. Anyone who doesn’t give this place 5 stars is probably someone I wouldn’t want to hang out with. This is the absolute essence of what the original Colorado and what RMNP is all about. If you were looking for bad customer service and a sterile ‘luxury’ suite go pay triple for a box of a room at the Stanley.

Such a cute little resort with all unique cabins. We stayed for 2 nights at fisherman's cabin. This cabin is filled with fishing themed decor. Very quiet, clean and cozy place to stay when visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. This place is just a couple of miles away from the RMNP's gate and visitor's center. It has awesome decks and lots of sitting areas throughout the property. We loved the one near river. Perfect place if you are visiting with kids. Hosts are lovely and friendly. They even gave us a small gift made by a local artist. We will definitely come back here to stay whenever we are visiting RMNP. Oh and bonus, check out all the wooden sculptures on the property.

The service that George and his staff give you is the best there is! We had vehicle brake problems and they not only helped me find someone to work on my van and tow it but also transported me to pick it up when it was finished. Our cabin was the best cabin in Estes with a very comfortable bed and all we needed to have a great family weekend! Thanks Pine Haven!

Beautiful cozy cabins not far from the main town. The cabins have a deck, kitchen and Wifi. There is hiking access to Rocky Mountain National Park from their property. They also have hiking trail on and from the property. The owners are very friendly and welcoming.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location and friendly helpful staff. Our time here was just what we needed. Randomly, it seemed, the owners threw a party for their guests complete with family games and prizes. I appreciated their down to earth approach to running their neat establishment.

We loved our stay here! Each cabin is unique and cozy with only a couple of minutes from the National park. Don't miss to use outdoors hot tub, especially when it is snowing.

We stayed in cabin 6 and it was nice but the resort was more crammed than we expected, their website really made their cabins seemed spaced far apart. Lots of noises at night from creaky windows but ear plugs helped with that. Their heating system and some other stuff seemed a bit dated but it got the job done. I do wish they had better curtains because it is possible to slightly see through the curtains at night. Those were my major gripes, other than that nice cabin with comfy furniture. The bed was decent ~ good (compared to mine) which is a huge factor for me!

Pine Haven is magical! I spent two nights there and cannot wait to go back. The cabins are amazing. Just beautiful, so clean, cozy, so well taken care of and with so many details… The décor is incredible. You can definitely notice that they have invested a lot of time to decorate each of these cabins. If you want to go to Estes Park and experience the mountains, this is the place to be. This is the real charm, the real feeling of being in the woods. Whether it's a romantic getaway or time spent with family, this place is ideal. There's a beautiful lake, a walking trail, a hot tub and grills available. The location is awesome, so close to Rocky Mountain National Park and all the restaurants and stores from Estes Park. The customer service is AMAZING. George, his wife, daughter, Max, everyone is so accommodating and they truly make you feel welcome! I highly recommend Pine Haven Resort, it's perfect!

Pine Haven was perfect. The cabin was incredibly cozy, the grounds were beautiful, and the owners were very warm and accommodating. After a long day in the National Park, this was the ideal place to unwind without ever feeling like you left nature. We will be back.

Absolutely amazing! We will definitely be returning to Pine Haven Resort. Staff was very friendly and helpful answering all questions we had. Close to RMNP entrance, great food near by, rustic cabins, great outdoor space, family friendly, fishing poles to rent, and wildlife right outside your door! We stayed 3 nights and wish we had stayed longer. They had a little get together with all the guests with ice cream and games. This resort was exactly what we were looking for! (Stayed in the Elkhorn cabin with 4 adults, 5-year-old, and 7-week-old).

This place is a beautiful serene piece of heaven! Very peaceful and perfect for families and people of all ages. The owners are very warm and I cannot wait to go back. I changed from 5 stars to 3 stars because they now require a minimum of a 3 night stay.

We just left Pine Haven this morning so wanted to comment while everything is fresh in my mind! We loved our stay-absolutely loved it. I selected it just on website photos, customer reviews and a couple email responses from the owners Joan and George. It did not disappoint! The cabins are charming and comfy. We met some people that have been coming there for many years and it is a place that you would want to return to. It has a quiet location tucked between the Fall River and a mountain LOL! The only traffic were a group of wild turkeys and a silly group of hungry chipmunks! If staying in the Estes Park area; I definitely recommend Pine Haven.

By far the best place my family has stayed in years. The photos do not do Pine Haven Report justice, everything about this place is cool, different, unique… every trip to CO will include a few days at the cabin. I cannot stress how awesome a stay my family had. My 6 year old twins said wanted to stay there forever!

Pine Haven Resort was a nice little get-together for my birthday. We stayed in the Aztac cabin which was clean & comfortable. There were 2 day beds an a Queen sized bed. There's a heater that you can turn up if you get cold. Plenty of pillows and bedding. The cabin is equipped with the essentials like coffeemaker (bring your own coffee), a microwave, dishes, glasses, silverware. Three is also a full sized refrigerator & freezer, so you can make your own meals if you want. Our greeter, Matt, was very friendly, helpful, & awesome all around. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great place to stay in the Estes Park area. For about the same price as a nearby hotel, you get a unique little cabin, and the owners are great people. At check-in I spoke to the woman who owns it (together with her husband) for probably an hour. Her and a guy who works there were literally some of the nicest people I've ever met. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

George and Karen were wonderful hosts. Everything was perfect. Everywhere you look on the property there is something interesting to see. We stayed in the Antique cabin and it was adorable. Pine Haven Resort is a true gem!

This year I stayed in Cabin 6. I try to experience different cabins whenever I come. I am never disappointed. There is a cozy feeling indoors as well as outdoors. When I left after a week, I felt like I was leaving my second home. I never tire of the beauty just outside my cabin door. Very laid back atmosphere. Staff and fellow guests make it feel like a family.

We vacation at Pine Haven Resort, every chance we get. You'll see elk and deer foraging around your cabin or cookout in the central grill stations. Our cabin had a deck and it was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The only hesitation that I have about writing a review, is that I don't want anyone else to find out about it and create competition for our favorite vacation destination. If it were for sale, I'd buy it.

Our family of 5 (3 children) stayed in the Elkhorn Cabin the last week of May. The cabin was clean and well supplied with all we needed. We were comfortable our entire stay. I was especially impressed with the activities for our kids: the basketball court (with goals of varying heights), playground, horseshoes, trails and comfy padded chairs for parents to watch the kids play. It was close enough to town to run in for groceries, but removed from the down-town hustle and bustle and perfect for access to Rocky Mountain National Park. This will be our lodging every time we come to Estes Park.

The cabins are exactly as I hoped, both rustic and modern in all the right ways. Owner was extremely nice and very service-oriented. The location is incredible — beautiful scenery and right alongside a river. The owners obviously put a lot of thought into the details — nice interior touches plus plenty of outdoors activities with new barbeques (gas and charcoal) and a ton of hot tubs. In fact, I liked it so much I am returning again next weekend with a friend who is visiting Colorado. Pine Haven deserves all the great reviews it is getting.
