Nice place overall and location. Restaurant inside could have a wider array of food with more choices. Breakfast should be included with stay and not 21$. Water should be free inside hotel room and not 5-6$. Lighting could be better in the rooms as well.

Our room was on the 20th floor, on the sunrise side, with the sweeping view of downtown. Beautiful! The location of the hotel is perfect: it is only one block away from the 16th Street mall.

Absolutley an awesome experience, from the front desk staff (especially Rachal), the bar staff, the valet and our rooms. We will be returning for another visit. 5 stars all around!

Great rooms, comfortable beds and clean.

I chose this hotel based on the cleanliness ratings, which are important to me. I’ve been picky about germs for most of my adult life and check all places thoroughly before touching anything, especially bathrooms and the sheets. I was extremely pleased to find everything in my room, and most everywhere throughout the hotel, sparkling clean. Didn’t even feel it necessary to use my own sheets I brought. I know, I’m odd that way. 🙂 But, seriously, I appreciated how wonderfully clean this hotel is. Will definitely stay here again!

Had an amazing stay! Chris at the front desk was very helpful and courteous! There is a courier marketplace with a full wine bar along with coffee, soups, sandwiches, and pizza! There are soo many good places to
eat downtown!

Great location with a very friendly & professional service by the staffs especially Mr Sean (Housekeeping manager) in helping us when my daughter got a fall in the lobby. Many thanks to Mr Sean and the Hyatt security team who had came to our aid when we needed most. Fully recommended this hotel.

Just arrived and the service has been nothing but impeccable since I walked through the door.
I always stay with HYATT as a Discoverist Member and of the many I have, this is probably number one.

I am enjoying my stay here at the Grand Hyatt. Extremely clean, safe and friendly staff. Don't have to worry about anyone being on your floor if they don't belong… your key activates the elevator… love the safety. Food bar, swim area availability. I would stay again and every time I visit Colorado… thanks for your hospitality.

Went to celebrare wife's birthday. Excellent room and they even gave my wife a card and little gift, thanks. We purchased the package with breakfast included but when we get home and check the bank you all had charges us 50 for the breakfast took about three calls to the hotel and three different managers but finally got a refund back to my cc. Overall what a great experience (phone calls to hotel aside) will def stay again. Maybe not buy the breakfast package this time…

Extremely disappointed that I cannot get a blocked room rate for a convention at the hotel. Hyatt has a monopoly and is lying when stating they give you a best rate guarantee. I called and got three different rates each were consecutively higher, and when mentioning the lower online rate they would not accept that rate as stated on their company policy. They have no regard to great customer service or experienced.

Centrally located, this absolutely stunning hotel provides amazing views, wonderful food and bar selections, and phenomenal rooms. We had a conference there, and the spacious facilities were just wonderful. This was my best experience in visiting Denver.

Bye Grand Hyatt, you were an amazing accommodation. If I'm ever back, I will stay here. The hospitality of this hotel is amazing. They made my stay comfortable. Best part was getting back to out room after 1:30 am and them bringing up plates, forks and a microwave for our pizza. Beds were so comfortable. The view, yes. The staff was great, from the check in, the valet was so helpful to and even walking down the hall and cleaning staff smiled and wished us a good morning. Thank you.

Hotel is very nice. Rooms are updated, modern and clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location. There is a Starbucks right next to the hotel, however it is not open on Sundays. Not a fan of the barn door on the bathroom. It did not pull smoothly so was hard to open and close and I just think the barn door style is dumb for bathrooms.

The rooms are beautiful. It's nice to have a Starbucks and FedEx so close. The cafe in the lobby is convenient as well. The staff has been super profey and helpful. Highly recommend.

Stayed at the Grand Hyatt Denver for four nights in conjunction with a conference held in the hotel. We arrived late at night and was promptly greeted. Check in was quick and uncomplicated. We had a room on the 19th floor with two double beds. Absolutely no complaints regarding noise. This was perhaps one of the quietest hotels that I have stayed at. The room was quite spacious and the furniture was modern and contemporary. The hotel is in walking distance to the Denver Pavilions shopping center and many restaurants.

Hotel rooms are confortable. Bedding is great. Mattress and pillows crisp and clean. Haven't interacted much with the staff but those that I spoke to were extremely helpful. Not a fan of the sliding door for the bathroom. I know its a space saver (or trendy? ) but it does little to muffle any sounds from the other occupants in the room. There also are no towel bars to hang any towels to dry. $5.00 bottles of 33 ounces of water is an insult. We bought a larger bottle at a nearby store for $2. Rooms are very quiet, hear little to no noise from neighboring rooms with the exception of running water and some movement in the morning when most people are getting ready for their day. Attending a conference in the same hotel while made it very convenient.

The rooms are very nice. Beds sleep very well. I forgot to bring an item, called down and a staff member brought me a complimentary one within minutes. The concierge was very helpful with finding delivery restaurants. Elevators are secured to room key cards so it's a secure place and my stay has been quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this as a good place to stay.

As far as the hotel cleanliness and staff courtesy was very good. Things I did not like include the water pressure in the shower-no matter what position or setting the shower head was in it was difficult to get the shampoo rinsed out of your hair. The room needs more light, even with the curtains open it was fairly dark. I would not recommend ordering the continental breakfast… the hard boiled egg was inedible, the meats although thinly sliced and did look inviting were sour tasting; the pastry and fruit bowl pre fab probably from Cisco were barely edible. The coffee was the best part of the breakfast. The cost for such poor food was the most irritating. For such a costly night stay I expected at Least a decent breakfast and since that was so horrific I did not try any other food offerings in this hotel. I won’t stay here again.

Had a really enjoyable stay at the Grand Hyatt Denver. The staff were very friendly. We had a maintenance request and a handyman arrived within minutes. The bed was very comfortable and the floor based night lights were amazing! The rooftop running track was beyond expected and made for a lovely morning jog. Can't wait to stay here again!

It is a quiet place, friendly service, close to many shops for walking and especially very clean.

This is an extremely nice hotel with amazing service. As a last minute booking we were immediately accommodated, and actually upgraded to a suit. The rooms were spacious, clean and well organized. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the sheets were the perfect softness! I would definitely reccomend staying at this hotel if ever in Denver.

We had a great two night stay while in town for business. The rooms are well decorated, the bed is comfortable and the staff are very friendly. It's also located within walking distance of many bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues. They also let us check out at 2pm due to our flight schedule. I recommend this hotel.

I stayed here as an overnight guest for a conference for work. The location is great — right in downtown Denver. The rooms were nicely furnished, with comfy beds and nice views of the city. However, the service is what really shone here. Every staff member with whom I interacted was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. Also, I loved the option to send a text if you needed something, rather than having to call the front desk.

Lot’s of little details that I liked about this hotel, my favorite being the motion lights under the nightstands and bathroom cabinet, comfy bed and pillows, helpful staff, they offer a long list of items that you may have forgotten for free. I ate at the bar in the Courier restaurant last night and since my food took so long I was offered a free drink. Lunch was pretty good too. I’m surprised that a hotel of this size only has one small restaurant though. I don’t like only having an option to valet park. There’s parking garages near but not one to self park that’s part of the property and it’s quite expensive. I’m here for a conference for two days and usually get fed quite well. The breakfast, snack (leftover pastries from breakfast), lunch and afternoon snack (one choice of bite sized plan cheesecakes) were nothing great! Hoping tomorrow will be better! I had a drainage issue in the tub and one of the outlets was not working in the bathroom so I reported it and the issues were fixed. I had left my almost empty mouthwash on the counter to remind myself to pick up some from hr lobby and when I got back to my room the housekeeper had put mouthwash and toothpaste on the counter for me.

I arrived quite late at night after a delayed flight and some frustrating travel issues. Needless to say I was looking to walk in and just hit the hay before my meetings in the morning. The front desk agent seemed to have read my mind, she was quick to check me in, offered me a bottled water and pointed me to the elevators. The whole stay (3 nights) was an absolute delight, from the friendly staff on site, the warm lounge and bar, and the consistency in the room cleaning and turned down for the evening. Will happily return to stay at this wonderful property.

Very good location and excellent service.

So to start off, staff is there to greet you at the door immediately. They have a very open style lobby. Desk clerks are very helpful and informative. The room was a bit tiny so I won't recommend more than 2 to a room. All furnishing were updated/modern also had a nice view of downtown. Also they give you a number to text if you need anything for your room which I thought was a awesome feature. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. I will book again for my next time in Denver. Another thing location is prime because you are right next to the 16th Street Mall and many restaurants. Great job grand hyatt!

My husband and I stayed here as a little get away in town for my birthday. The location was perfect — an easy, quick jaunt down the block and you're on the 16th Street Mall. We walked from our hotel to the mall and found dinner right there, easy. Plus all the shops, there's really something for everyone. The room was nice enough, but I feel like we have stayed in lower level hotels that had nicer rooms. Breakfast also isn't a feature, which would have been great considering the money you spend to stay there. Overall, it was good for our little get away, but next time, I don't think I'd choose to stay there again.

Nice hotel, good service. Lobby was beautiful. Staff was approachable and very helpful. Food was good at the restaurant downstairs, Courier. Didn't like the food from room service even though part of the menu was the same. They didn't always change the bedsheets in our to room. Hotel is old but rooms are nicely updated and have a modern vibe. Would recommend staying here. Location is good for walking access to downtown, 16th street mall, restaurants etc.

Very nice hotel with exceptional service. After I checked in I received a personalised email asking me how I found everything and if anything was missing. The rooms are very nice. The lobby has a welcoming and warm fireplace. I enjoyed my stay here.

Amazing experience. We travelled with 12 teenage girls for a volleyball tournament. The staff were all amazing and accommodating of our large and needy group. The valet, stewards and desk staff were professional and courteous. I will definitely choose to stay here again, and you should too!

For the price, you expect something a little more special. The difference between this and the Hyatt House, also in Denver, is the live music and lively lobby, but otherwise the Hyatt House is more modern, more comfortable and cleaner. The Grand Hyatt needs to clean its rooms a little better (the seal around the sinks was not attractive) and make the rooms' TV work better (than the Hilton Garden Inn in Boulder) to even start to approach being good value for money.

High end hotel in the heart of Denver (Loto District). The rooms have comfy beds and very up-to-date amenities. Located to a ton of bars the night life is very accessible by foot. The customer service was great, during g the day, but after midnight they don't treat. You with the same respect and courtesy that the day time staff offer. I would recommend this to anyone visit Denver for the first time as is so close to all the downtown attraction and sights.

My fiance and I stayed here while on business in Denver last week. Management was incredibly helpful with all of our needs. Our room was spacious and incredibly clean. All fixtures were up to date. Overall, a great experience. I would recommend this hotel in the future.

Very clean, aesthetically pleasing hotel in a great area. Great hotel for a medium sized (~400) conference. Attentive, courteous service. Great proximity to area restaurants/bars. Great motion sensor lighting and electric blinds/shutters in rooms. Decent views.

This place was amazing. The rooms where very clean with motion sensor lights for easy access. The bathroom was a nice size and we had a pretty good view. The bar is cool, a nice place to hangout. I'm pretty sure it was some hookers hanging around but there were nice. Overall, we would love to stay there again!

Great hotel! Very nice staff and I'd like to give a specific shout out to housekeeping staff for keeping everything nice and neat. However, I'm slightly disappointed. The reason why? Because the hotel restaurant was closed and no one told us about this. We were excited to try out the place. We booked the hotel because of this this. We even called down to asked if reservations were necessary to which the front desk replied with no. They had no mention of the restaraunt was being remodeled until we showed up for breakfast expecting a full menu. The lovely waiter offered to comp our breakfast but, as a previous server, I couldn't ask him to shell out $40 for breakfast for two. That money would have come out of his pocket and we couldn't do that. Anyway, needless to say, slightly disappointed about the food (they should have mentioned that previously) but everything else was great. Fantastic location and all. And not to mention you have Shelby's next door!

We just popped into the lounge for a drink. It was so cold out. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The wait staff were attentive without being overbearing. There was a guitarist playing near the lounging couch area. Between the double fireplaces at the bar and the massive Christmas tree, it was a memorable first date!

Amazing staff. There was a problem with the room above mine and they asked if I would move since my room could be affected. To make up for any inconveniences I may have had they upgraded me to their grand club service, which was pretty amazing. I got to enjoy their continental breakfast and evening snacks every day. The room was spacious and clean. Location was convenient; I could walk everywhere for some sightseeing and food.

This was such a great short and sweet little stay. My room was a fabulous corner king. It was an ADA room so the hand held shower head was a really nice surprise. The sheets and bed was clean and comfortable. The electric roller shades was nice addition, unfortunately I didn't have a great view even on the 20th floor. The lobby was nicely decorated and fairly modern/recent. Staff was courteous and helpful.

The lobby is impressive — it was actually very pretty in the evening. The room was nice and the staff were super accommodating. Comfortable, quality bed and bedding. Don't really like that you don't have full control of the thermostat, that motion sensors trigger useless lighting throughout the room, and that there was no bathroom fan. I mean seriously — who likes to do their business in absolute silence? If I can hear myself breathing it's too quiet. The water pressure and just the quality of the shower head were also not good. And I didn't like the shampoo and bath products. 4 stars because the facility is nice overall and the bed was great. But the bathroom needs some help.

Staff was just exceptional, the breakfast was great, everything was nice and clean. The pool is beautiful, even though it did not have a hot tub. We enjoyed the roof top tennis court, a unique experience for tennis players. We also chose the City view room and it was definitely worth the extra charge. Waking up to the view was a great experience. Will definitely come back on the next opportunity!

Highly recommend. Went to a conference with 172 attendees. Great times. Beautiful lobby. Good food. Good drinks. Super helpful staff. Service highlight: Left three brand new shirts in the closet. Called, they had them, they immediately pressed the one I needed to wear at no charge, and sent me on my way. All while I ate in the restaurant. Thanks to Mike B. Security Supervisor. It was an excellent experience to stay in this hotel. Very nice staff. The breakfast team was very active, agile and helping. Cleanliness, location, ambience were all exceptional. The only thing which I felt was that despite request an early morning breakfast on last day couldn't be served in my room as my flight was early. Rest all good…

I greatly appreciated my most recent stay at the Grand Hyatt. The front desk was very gracious upon check-in, and any time I called down with requests they were most accommodating. The outdoor track and tennis courts are great provided the weather is on your side.

"Competence" is the word that comes to mind. Everything was perfectly competent in its execution: rooms were clean and well-appointed, staff was helpful, and the location is excellent. There is nothing particularly differentiated or special about the place, if that's what you're looking for—it's your typical conference center, large-chain hotel—but if you need to stay for business, it's just right.

Starting with the attitude of front desk, valet parking, water that stagnated in the shower and washing, the door of the bathroom that does not close and the food in the restaurant nothing good and I hurt the stomach, the TV is not seen… I can't reconenarlo.

Expensive, but great location and nice rooms. The check-in and checkout process was super easy amd the staff was nice. We stayed here for a wedding 6min away and the location was convenient. Valet was a joke however… the hotel led us to believe it was free parking but when we showed up the valet was telling us it would cost $45 to park 20ft away! We said no, and literally drove around the corner — 20 freaking feet and paid $8 for the same parking garage the valet was charging $45 for.

Very nice hotel and conference center. Everything is clean and comfortable. Each staff member I have talked to (front desk, room service, valet, and bartender) have been super friendly. I would definitely recommend for a professional event.

Very nice hotel, lots of things to do. Rooftop tennis court was great for juggling the soccer ball. Nice indoor pool with rooftop tanning right beside it. Kind staff. Full gym with free weights and quite a few nice weight machines. Had our 11 month old in the gym, court and pool. Clean and big room with a nice big window overlooking the city. No microwave or fridge in the room, but you can request a complimentary fridge. Would stay again.

The hotel is gorgeous! The decor is modern and was very clean. The breakfast was also delicious (some of the best croissants I've eaten). My only complaint is the thin walls. I was able to hear neighboring guests if they dropped something in the restroom. Also, if someone were walking down the hallway you could hear their conversation very well, even with the door closed. Otherwise, it was a great experience!

The service was adequate, no issues were encountered. The rooms were decently nice. However, the bathroom door was just a sliding door, which left cracks open at the sides that we found kind of weird and didn't provide as much privacy as we would like. And the whole sixth floor's hallways smelled like sewage when we arrived. They had a rooftop tennis court and track, which we found pretty cool.

Stayed in room 615 and 617. The rooms were clean and tidy. Each room had a television which was ~40 inches and many ports for electronics. Bathroom was nice, had a large mirror and a small mirror for putting on makeup. Stocked with many towels and toilet paper. One problem was one of the doors didn't lock. 2 beds in each room. Each had 3 pillows which is okay but would rather have 4, just personal preference. There were 4 outlets on the nightstand which is nice. All in all a decent hotel.

Higher end hotel close to all the restaurants on 16th st. Service was ok, gym was ok. No outdoor pool. Good restaurant, but just ok for the price.

Went for a conference. Wi-Fi free for 12 hours even if not guest. Lobby was nice, plenty of seats available. Location on 16th great.

The hotel was very nice, but the bar was charging outrageous prices for drinks (they were hosting a party I was attending). $3 for half a can of pop, $12 for small mixed drinks, $9ish for beer, etc. It was nice, but the drink prices and long lines made it annoying. They put together a heck of a dance floor, though.

I was there for my friend's wedding and it was a very pleasant experience. The suite we used for the day was great and very clean. We ordered room service for lunch, it arrived quickly and was delicious. The staff made sure to do whatever they could to accommodate us and make the bride's experience wonderful.

Love this place, it was my first time to Denver Colorado and stayed at the Grand Hyatt. Beautiful rooms and staff and loved the from my rooms. The indoor pool and work out room are amazing and the Sky Track/ Sky Tennis Court. I will be back for another stay when visiting Denver Colorado. Thanks.

The staff is amazingly friendly and the rooms are very modern. They have motion lighting for night. Valet service is a little pricey but very friendly. I would go back Starbucks located on property 3 bars and resteraunts and decent room service menu.

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 little boys for a night. We requested a room high up and am so happy we did! Great city view. The service was amazing! Even though we had kiddos and the place was pretty upscale they didn't treat us any differently and we're so nice! We got a great recommendation for dinner (5280 burgers). Our server at breakfast was especially friendly and kind. Speaking of breakfast, the buffet was fantastic! So many great sides and spreads and every breakfast option imaginable! The bacon was some if the best we've tasted. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfy, the amenities were wonderful. We opened the curtains to the city and fell asleep with the city lights outside and the sound of a concert below us. Overall it was a perfect experience!

The Grand Hyatt Denver is a very nice hotel. We had the opportunity, with our Diamond membership, to have access to the Regency Club lounge. The lounge is a wonderful asset to this property and well managed. We found this to be such a positive that we will indeed look to stay here again as a result of this. Our corner suite room was very comfortable and the views were great. The improvement needs to be on staff at the check-in, it seemed that when we would talk to anyone it was not a very positive experience. The other staff members however, we encountered during our stay were all very friendly. Tip: Book a corner suite room, the room is quite a bit nicer than the standard king room. Also, go to the Fireside lounge bar at Happy Hour to enjoy the contemporary designed fireplace and décor in the beautiful lounge area.

Amazing experience! Stayed here a while ago (March) and getting ready to book it again. Customer service was one of the best we've ever had ANYWHERE! Gorgeous hotel, food & beverage manager was incredible! 24 hour room service was outstanding as well as the restaurant! Gluten free options for daughter with Celiacs was extremely helpful and appreciated. Will be back anytime we come stay in Denver! Thank you!

The hotel was amazing. One of the nicest I've ever stayed. The bed and sheets were so soft it was hard to get out of bed. The bar in the lobby is quaint and serves great wine.

Nice renovations to the rooms. We were on our anniversary and the staff was very nice and accommodating in the selection of our room. It did seem that noise traveled through the hallway doors and upstairs ceiling pretty easily but wasn't a big deal and didn't affect our sleep. We actually had some of the best sleep in ages there.

With delicious ingredients and very tasty, overall the service makes you feel very intimate.

The person who designed the rooms in this hotel needs a frickin' Oscar! Holy cow, my room isn't just a room, it's an experience! Every little detail from the desk/TV table setup to the cool couch/ottoman to the beautiful lighting to the sliding bathroom doors?!?!?! If your guests are complimenting the frickin' BATHROOM DOORS, you're definitely doing something very, very right! Haha! Oh, and the motion-sense lighting is To. Die. For! Especially for midnight bathroom trips! Thanks, guys, for getting it so right!

Just stayed here for super bowl! Nice hotel very clean lobby front desk staff is very nice and quick to accommodate us as we reserved a valentines package which they forgot half the stuff that was supposed to be included with it. We get to the room, it was nice but very dusty had to dust the TV and desks with a wash cloth. Like the other reviews said very very very thin walls. We heard the elevator all night and other guests next to us and in the hall. Restaurant staff were nice and accommodating. Over all good time might visit again.

Close access to parking lots, abundant street parking. Stopped in for a drink or two. Very nice lobby and pub area. I would recommend stopping in to anyone in the area.

I haven't even got to the hotel as yet. I have called 5 times to make a reservation for a conference and keep getting disconnected. I tell them that each time I call back that I am getting disconnected and they keep passing me on with no regard to the disconnect issue. It has been 30 minutes of calling. I will see what happens … I hope this is not an indication as to the level of service once I finally arrive.

We got kicked out for very subtle reasons. Then told we must leave before they call the cops because we were "trespassing". I wouldn't recommend. Nice place, but the staff isn't very nice. No one should be sent into 7 degree weather while waiting for their ride. Have some humanity.

Great location in downtown Denver. Rooms were very nice and clean. Had breakfast brunch in the morning that had a good selection of hot and cold food. Made to order omelette bar and very friendly staff. They even handed out little toys for the kids.

The beds and pillows in the rooms were very comfortable. The motion sensored lights beneath the cabinets were appreciated for nighttime bathroom runs. The staff, including at the bar and restaurant, were super friendly, helpful and had wonderful personalities. Amazing hotel for a great price.

I've stayed in other high rates hotels in Denver and I like this one the most. They had a great inviting and knowledgeable staff. Lots of fun stuff to walk to near by as well as public transportation. Great valet service and the corner rooms are definitely worth the small upgrade. I will definitely be back!

Stayed here recently during a conference. Pluses: convenient location, housekeeping kept my room very clean, Starbucks very close. Not so great: room service menu was unappealing, food when I had breakfast was bland, loud amateur music in the lobby in the evenings. Overall just a very generic hotel at a reasonable price.

The customer service at The Grand Hyatt was amazing. We were treated like royalty, (no, we are not) and the room was perfect. We were given a free upgrade to a corner room, which overlooked the city lights of Denver. The running track and workout rooms were clean and perfect for my tri training. We were a block off the 16th street mall which was an excellent location. The hotel itself is beautiful. But most of all, we were blown away by the staff in every way.

The food in restaurant is marginal and the rooms you can hear the toilet flush and the water run down the pipes. Other than it is a high price marginal stay. I wish for a discount for the whole stay.

I just spent three days at this downtown Denver hotel at a business conference. The hotel location is a prime downtown spot, convenient to the 16th street shopping area. I arrived about 10:30 am and was granted a much appreciated, early check in. The hotel is a busy hotel and on Saturday there were numerous wedding celebrations, the hotel had a hectic feel. My room was comfortable, not extravagant, one king size bed. Loved the motion detector lights in the bathroom. On Sunday morning I enjoyed an early morning brunch that was excellent! The meeting facilities were very well done and served our group of 30 very well. Every meal at the hotel was very good. I didn't feel the hotel to be relaxing, there seemed always be a lot of noise. Over all staff service and helpfulness were average. Not sure I would book another business function at this hotel, I would consider alternative downtown Denver locations.

Currently staying here. At 6:30AM were awakened by CONSTRUCTION! Drilling and hammering. Called front desk, they said they're trying to seize it for later time… still could hear heavy things dropping. Moving. Who the hell has construction at wee hours in the morning where people supposed to come and rest?!

Modern decor high rise hotel in the heart of Denver. Very nice lobby couches and chairs to lounge. I liked the sleek small bar area with fireplaces and was nice to have a night cap before bed. Easy to walk to local spots. Nice clean rooms.

I stayed here in May 2014 and was very disappointed. While staying at the hotel, I had my 10 month old son and my wife. From the moment we walked in the door we were treated rude and looked down on for having a child. I realize this is supposed to be a "5" star luxury hotel, however it is only so if you an older individual wearing a suit and tie. The room we booked was $400 a night, corner room mountain view on the top floor, we by no means tried to go "cheap" when staying here. Reason for rating: When we travel we love to pamper ourselves 1 night of the trip and this was supposed to be it. When we arrived (at checkin time) we were told our room was not ready and we would need to come back later. I informed the front desk that my child needed to eat and take a nap and that the room we booked should have been ready by now, the agent did not try to help or offer any remedies only "We will call you when your room is ready please come back later". Normally this wouldn't be a huge issue however at the time there were thunderstorms in Denver, and tornado warnings. I had to find a way to keep a hungry / tired 10 month old somewhat happy in the streets of a Denver thunderstorm for 3 HOURS past when my room should have been ready. Finally we got checked in, made it to our room and here is my complaint with a $400 room. The room tried to be "trendy" by having a barn door as the bathroom door. This door does not lock, and does not close all the way.

I would like to start off by saying that this was my family's first time in Denver. We came in for a family wedding this Easter passed (April 2014). Our families have came from all over the States as well as Canada. The moment we arrived to the hotel we were greeted by Friendly Porters. They asked if we wanted help but there was enough of us to do it ourselves. They did however direct us to the front desk. When we arrived to the front desk we were greeted by Friendly Front Desk Hosts. We did have a little mix up at first but it was quickly resolved. When we got to our rooms we found them to be very clean and up dated. We had everything we needed to make us feel comfortable. I was VERY IMPRESSED by how FRIENDLY and PROFESSIONAL the House Keeping Ladies were. Whenever we needed coffee or towels etc, the ladies were Very Quick to help as well as Very Kind about doing so. They always had smiles on their faces and greeted us with Hellos. They also seemed very helpful towards each other in organizing their jobs. I can't tell you enough how Amazing they where. It seems as though we take advantage of how hard the housekeeping people work to keep our rooms clean and welcoming for us so we can feel comfortable while being away from home. My family and I would like to say Thank You to them for all their hard work. We would also like to say Thank You to the Hotel for allowing our families to be able to have a quite meeting room on the Third Floor for our Easter Sunday Serves.

I loved the Grand Hyatt Denver. I stayed here on business and the hotel staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. Each floor requires your hotel room key for access — which is nice and gives you a peace of mind that not anyone can just come to your floor. I stayed on the 15th floor and had a view of the downtown city lights and the **track/tennis court on top of the roof. I wasn't able to go to the gym as much because I was limited on time, but I did visit it and it was clean and nice. The Grand Hyatt parking is super expensive, but if you look around the outside of the hotel, there are parking spots you can pay for — I suggest paying with Credit Card because it doesnt give you change. The rooms were big, and the decor and furniture was so beautiful. I love how they had sensor lights in my room that lit up when I walked by. I felt like I was in a penthouse. If I go back to denver, this is where I'll be staying! Thank you Grand Hyatt.

I booked a suite and had my birthday here. I loved it! The staff was really friendly and the suite was super spacious. I've never gotten a suite before and it was rather pricey, but it was all worth it for my birthday.
