Charged me twice for my room. Manager won't return a call, had to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

The room is very clean and spacious.

Well for one thing I came home with bed bug bites and I’ve never had this happen to me before! It’s so embarrassing and it makes me feel so dirty! This has never happy to me before and it’s not fun plus the toilet over floated and the hair dryer was broke! I think they should reimburse me for all my bedding stuff I’ve had to throw away including my mattress and box spring!

They were great at taking care of us. We had an incident where we had to have security help us out and they were so kind and helpful. Great service. Would stay there again. Thank you.

The rooms were very clean and the AC was great. The beds were really comfortable. My only issue was the bathrooms are kinda small.

Nice and quiet, comfortable bed and clean room. Breakfast is always good, and always appreciated. Great location to walk around downtown Denver and visit restaurant's.

Front desk staff were very helpful. Checked in early with no problems.
Room was a bit dated and obviously not a refurbished one. Carpet needed a good clean.

Stayed for a night before flying out — clean room and friendly staff. We arrived early but they were able to accommodate us without charging extra. Yes the valet is $39 bucks but once you are parked you don't need to drive again since the hotel is so close to everything.

The location downtown Denver is amazing. The rooms are very small and we had issues with it being a bit dirty. They were very accommodating about our late check in but the front desk / bellmen was not helpful in helping us get our bags. For the cost per night I would think they could at least helped us through the door… but the front desk just stood there as we struggled to get inside. The staff seem overall present but not helpful or polite. We have been staying for 3 nights and no staff member has even said hello since we checked in.

The initial room we had was very small, don't get the "queen room with sofa sleeper", it's not worth the money. If you want the people you are traveling with to be able to see you use the bathroom, this hotel has "frosted" glass bathroom doors. Almost see-thru. It may be the "new and contemporary style" but it wasn't for us. Parking is $37. I think there are better options for your money.

The worst front desk night staff Dennis totally rude. These people need a management overhaul he needs two people at night. Phone was ringing couldn’t answer questions and said” I have to hang up on you to answer other calls. Couldn’t find info on no pool so called hotel phone rang 42 times at 9p. I will not stay there since this is an example, The manager Brant may want to give employee night staff who doesn’t know what a deposit is? He called it incidental hold. It is a deposit! Then he began to school me on it after We went in a big circle to get the answer I needed. Zero insight and knowledge of the area. He couldnt handle the phones and was very very rude.! You get what you pay for! Manager needs to train staff on hanging up on customers trying to make a reservation! They lost my business! Poor choice in staffing front line to customer.

Nice to have valet service in downtown. No need to fret over finding parking. Parking is $37/day. Easy access to the Brown Palace. One block from access to the 16th street mall. Because it's a city hotel, space is a commodity, so the standard rooms are small but still comfy. They will provide a refrigerator and microwave if requested. The room service is excellent if pricey. It is from a dedicated kitchen in the Brown Palace (but there is staff dedicated to HIE room service). Make sure if you use GPS the entrance you are navigating to is on Tremont (which is a one way so can be a little tricky getting to in downtown). Front desk staff were helpful. Maintenance fixed an issue with my shower in.

Stayed for the first time in Downtown Denver due to their close location to the mall and baseball field. It was a great experience! But. Get ready to pay pretty heft for their "valet only" parking that isn't heavily stressed when you book your room. Other than that, the hotel was clean, great breakfast!

The Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown had great service and hospitality. The valet service is exceptional and the continental breakfast was quality. I'd love to visit this hotel again.

The hotel is very comfortable, conveniently located downtown, and has continental breakfast. The valet service was concerning. The valets drive way too fast. The price of rooms is too high for the value received.

The beds were really comfortable and the room was really clean. I needed towels so I called down and got them really promptly. The breakfast I'm the morning was also provide a variety of different options and had some great hot food.

This has been the worse experience at a holiday inn Express The room was extremely small to the point where we slid sideways to get from point A to point B The smell of the room was horrible peeeew! What you see in their pictures is Not what you are getting. The towels were dingy, the hand washing sink backed up and the restroom glass door was broken so using the restroom was awkward. The creamer for the coffee was sour I asked to get new creamer and the lady just filled the container with sour creamer, the gentleman working the breakfast bar had blood shot eyes and look extremely tired. I will never start here again!

Great location right in downtown Denver. The rooms are a bit smaller than what I am used to compared to other Holiday Inn Express locations I have stayed at but still provided all the amenities. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating.

A newly renovated hotel located in downtown. It's at walking distance from all the major attractions in downtown Denver. Downtown Denver is connected by a free mall shuttle and this place is 2 min walk from one of the stop. Place has got beautiful rooms and amazing continental breakfast Bathrooms are little smaller than expected but fresh pancakes in the morning with hot chocolate totally made up for it.

My company had me stay here for a marketing project for nearly a month, and I'm so happy they did. The staff was so nice! The maids were fantastic and did such a good job! I will absolutely be here next time I"m in town!

Wall paper falling off. Damaged walls and dresser. The bathtub has lots of missing caulking. I found trash leftover from previous guests. There was hair in the shower also from a previous guest. I wouldn't recommend staying here. I called the front desk to let them know and they just made a joke about it. Verry unimpressed! I spoke with the front desk in the morning about the issues the guy was very apologetic. They gave me free parking value of $35.00

This hotel was perfect for our needs. Viran at the front desk could not have been better. He was so helpful and upgraded our room because they weren't packed. The view was beautiful, location perfect.

Stayed for 3 nights. I am an IHG platinum member but booked through airline with my flight. Was given a corner room with king bed. Super small bathroom, no tub, no vanity space for toothbrushes, deodorants, essentials. Non locking sliding door to bathroom. Desk/work area no more than a ledge built into the wall. 3 feet deep max. Breakfast was usual fare, nothing special. Bed, comfortable, large very nice pillows, form fitting to my head and neck. Staff were all courtesous, some offered a little more than others. No refrigerator No microwave.

I don't mind it. It's a nice hotel. Charity at the front desk, was very thoughtful and courteous. Beware though — they only have PAID or VALET parking. I wish I would have know that ahead of time.

The location is great. The room is ok. There is no fridge but you can request it and they would deliver it to your room. The worse part though was the bathroom. It only have a sliding door which can easily be pushed open. Combined with no electric vent makes the room … stink at times…

Room smaller than expected but overall quality of stay wasn't bad. Breakfast had a lot of options. Hotel was in a good central location to everything downtown. Held our bags for us after check out while we were at the broncos game which was very appreciated.

Wonderful hotel! Well kept as everything I encountered was clean and working as intended. Great location to everything. 16th St Mall, Union Station, the Wynkoop, the Tattered Cover, and Coors Field were all within walking distance (among many other points of interest). The room was nice and clean. Our room in particular had a fantastic view of downtown. The service was phenomenal. The front desk clerk, Manny, was quite a gentleman and informative. He told me everything I needed to know and had great suggestions for what to do while in town. Lastly, the complimentary breakfast was superior to most hotel's with a complimentary breakfast. No complaints! Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Overall a good hotel but the bathroom setup was super weird. Walls were thin but rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Valet parking is $37/night with is a little too steep but there isn't another option with a car.

Location: great, right next to 16th street mall, very close to many venues. Rooms: interesting, very modern, bathrooms have a sliding glass door instead of the normal hinged wooden ones. Service: good, didn't need anything from the front desk, but check in was pretty painless.

I don't mind it. It's a nice hotel. Front desk staff Charity very thoughtful and courteous. Beware though — they only have PAID or VALET parking. I wish I would have know that ahead of time.

The best thing about the hotel was the breakfast and hot showers. Other then that the rooms ac was controlled by the people downstairs called multiple times because room got hot as well as my bestfriend room no fridge or microwave in room I definitely wouldn't want to go back.

When I called to verify my reservations for four people for this hotel I was met with a lot of resistance for me to put other names on the three rooms (which was the way I originally booked the rooms — under three other names). I was told the only way to get my guests checked in under their rooms was to give them an 8-digit code when they checked in and use my name. I've NEVER had to do this before when making reservations for all of my work travel. I've always called the front desk and asked them to list another name on the room's reservation. This person at the front desk REFUSED to do that and said I missed my chance to add names on the reservation when I booked the rooms. THIS IS HOW I BOOKED THE RESERVATIONS in the first place and they messed up. I am already really dissatisfied with this stay and we haven't even checked in yet! This hotel should reconsider how difficult they make it for their guests to check in.

It is a very okay hotel. Great location. Nothing really wrong with it and nothing really awesome about it. It is what a Holiday Inn Express should be.

The location and price were great. The room I was in was very good for a holiday inn. It was on the small side, but it had the regular amenities and a walk in shower. There were a few minor things that maintenance could take care of, but nothing major and no reason to switch rooms. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.

Nice location! However please look into your Summer air conditioning! Rooms are not cooling down! And it's not just my room. It's my only complaint! The staff and cleanliness are wonderful. Thanks!

The corner rooms we had seemed a bit like an afterthought that was cobbled together to make work. We were charged again upon arriving for prepaid rooms. The valet service was excellent! Josh and his crew were outstanding! The bathrooms should've had doors rather than sliding glass.

Overall it was good just a coupe hiccups. Oon our first night the room was super hot and I called down and asked for a fan and was told they'd bring one up. Three calls and 2hrs later no fan and they finally tell me the A/C was fixed. Fixed? No I ever told me it was broke. Then they had a elevator out of service. Breakfast was amazing. Coffee is great! Friendly service! Clean and cozy rooms! Fantastic housekeeping. I would stay again. Beware valet parking is all they offer at $37 a night. Super close to the mall and convention center you can walk easily to both.

It seems like a normal hotel. Probably not worth the price but this is downtown so it is reasonable I suppose. The room has an old styled TV though.

I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Expresses and this one had by far the smallest rooms. The bathroom is tiny. I have Spire Elite status and usually receive upgrades when staying at IHG hotels, but they were unable to accommodate me at check in. They did move me to a 'bigger' upgraded room after my 1st night, but it was still pretty small. Considering this was a recently renovated property, I was disappointed. I had a another stay planned at the hotel but switched it to another property.

Super nice and the location was great for a girls weekend away. It's close to the 16th Street mall and drink across the skywalk.

Stayed here for 3 nights in March. Pros: clean, great location, good breakfast, modern room with good layout for size, decent price Cons: valet only parking ($35/night), small rooms, small lobby, noisy hallway doors The door for the bathroom was a bit odd. Since the room is small, a bathroom door that is more than a sliding piece of frosted glass which hangs in front of the bathroom isn't a great door. More affordable parking options in surrounding area. Still a decent place to stay for the price and location.

Paid for room with rewards points so I feel like I shouldn't be too picky but there were a few things that were odd. First, there was only one person at the front desk upon arrival. This meant that the line was long to check in. The room was a standard Queen and was a corner unit. Very small and a strange set up. The bathroom door is a sliding opaque glass door so you can see people through it. The handle to flush the toilet is on the wall next to the bathroom sink which is another odd feature. Breakfast was decent. I would imagine that this hotel is below par if compared to others around it, but for staying for just one night before heading to the mointians it worked.

Overall no complains. They even got me a fridge and microwave since im here for 11 days. Good location and I got the corner room which has a nice view.

Great location, right downtown next to the Brown Palace. Staff was friendly and receptive. The rooms were kind of small, but the bed was verrrry comfy and there was a couch in room. Windows won't open and I couldn't find the thermostat. Continental breakfast looked like Brown Palace rejection items (on the tour of the Brown Palace they said the two hotels share kitchen staff) and we didn't partake.

I love it perfect location from 16th Street Mall & other places the restroom sliding see through can be changed. & no refrigerator nor microwave in rooms but other than that's it's nice comfortable just during the new years be aware if you have family kids or elderly their can be some Neighbors going wild screaming jumping & banging walls. Feel free to call front desk & they will take care of it. This is one place I enjoy staying at I've tried Sheraton I wasn't comfortable with them always on me as soon as I walked in or out the pool was a distance. & I'm disabled but this place is will continue to stay at been staying there for years and I don't think I'll change my location. Thanks to the staff for making us feel comfortable.

Customers beware: TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I arrived to this hotel on 4 July 2015 for a fun weekend in Denver. Around 10PM that night, I noticed that the AC was not working and in fact, the unit was actually pumping warm air into the room. The room thermostat read in the 80s even though it was set to 72. I called the front desk and they said that they were aware of the problem, but that "it was being worked on". However, in my opinion, if they knew about such an issue phone calls should have been made to each room to reassure guests and provide amenities, like fans. The front desk told me that by the time I called all the fans were out already. Needless to say, I got no sleep that night as the temperature continued to rise. By 5AM, the temperature was in the upper 80s. I called down and the front desk staff member told me that the problem was fixed but that it would like a few hours for the temperatures to acclimate, but I asked her to send someone up to my room to check. No one ever came. At about 730, I went down to breakfast and found the manager on duty — Brandt Ellwood, who offers up a nice smile and empty promises but nothing beyond it. He told me that the HVAC issue was the top priority and nearly guaranteed it would be fixed that day. So I ate my breakfast, did some work on my computer in the lobby since my room was unbearable (now in low 90s) and decided to explore the city a bit. I came back around 1100 and now my room was in the mid-90s.

You can't be having the beer shits if you're staying here. No bathroom fan or real door.

Nice property but, what's with the glass bathroom "doors"? My family could hear me farting and plopping!?! My kids could also see my squatted silhouette! Designers might want to rethink this new addition.
