Nice rooms. Right on the water. Good breakfast. Splurge for a patio room.

Not a very good place to stay. The rooms are filthy and the staff are the rudest. And the entire place has some god awful smell that no amount of air freshener will get rid of.

Our stay in June 2019 was one of our most enjoyable experiences! The Sand Pebbles Inn has an incredible breakfast included in your room price and the views were breathtaking! Our room was immaculate when we arrived and the decor was refreshing and inviting. The service was outstanding, although we never actually saw anyone, our needs were met without us having to ask. We will definitely be returning sooner than later!

We enjoyed our stay at Sand Pebbles Inn — spacious room, comfortable king bed, and a partial ocean view. The boardwalk along Moonstone Beach is right across the road — we loved being right on the beach and being able to hear the surf out the open window while we relaxed.

We stayed at Sannd Pebbles In for 2 nights. At our stay we were in room 118 which was a beach front room with a balcony. The weather was great in August. The view was so amazing and the sound of the water was so calming. The receptionist was very friendly and told us everything we needed to know. It was also free breakfast and there is always someone in there cooking waffles. We had a great experience and we will definitely be back for more.

Wow. We came here from 116 in Arizona. Tourists but NOT touristy. People who love nature, the ocean. No spring breakers or summer breakers. My new feng shui place.

Quaint, lovely beach front establishment with extremely nice and helpful staff. We had a double queen room on the second floor with partial ocean view: we could sit on the chairs and see the ocean through the very large windows. At night we could hear the waves crashing which was very relaxing! One of the best features for us was the very comfortable beds and, for that alone, we would most certainly come back! ;) The breakfast was very good and varied too.

This is a lovely hotel with amazing views of the ocean. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. We look forward to our next visit!

Take a shower and taste water falling from the head. It tastes sweeeet.

My wife and I enjoyed Sand Pebbles, 2nd floor ocean view room. The staff are friendly, welcoming and informed about the local area. The counch in the room is positioned perfectly in front of the large window. I recommend opening the window all the way, grabbing a nice bottle of wine from the local vendors and enjoy! I couldn't have asked for a better stay in Cambria, thank you to the staff at Sand Pebbles Inn.

Had a great time. The room was especially beautiful, clean and comfortable. The morning breakfasts are varied, tasty and well prepared. … I would recommend this place highly.

Lovely hotel, some rooms have a magnificent view of the ocean. Our stay was overshadowed by a power outage, which was beyond their control; however, lobby staff went home, phones were dead, and Wi-Fi was down. The management has apologized and stated they are developing a better plan for these situations. We will return.

Recently renovated hotel right across the street from Moonstone Beach. Complimentary cookies each day, amazing waffle breakfast, comfy bed and free Wi-Fi.

The coastal area expirenced a power outage on our 2nd night. Emergency lighting lasted less than 3 hours. Desk employee left when her shift ended, leaving all the guests on our own. She told us to contact the staff of a sister property by dialing 0. We told her the phones don't work. She handed us a business card and left. Not much concern for guests.

The rooms were nice and ready to go when I got there service was pretty good the location was great wasnt to far away from anything.

Rooms staff were great. Only issue I had really were the towels… Very rough and uncomfortable… Usually I don't care but these were not great. Everything else was great.

Comfortable, clean room with beautiful view of ocean. Best feature is mattress. Oddest feature is shower door, which does not open at the end of stall where faucet is.

Exceeds all expectations. Room was very comfortable and partial ocean view true to discription. Table and chairs by window you could see ocean. Breakfast room very very good. They gave cookies on the doorknob vert day. We are now raving fans of Sand Pebbles. General Manager Karen knows what customer service is all about.

EXCELLENT STAY! So good to come here after Hearst Castle. We could not have been treated better… breakfast was a special treat. Moonstone beach a walk away… which is worth the stop in itself. Fell asleep listening to the ocean. We went from SanFran to LA to Diz and my preteens still talk about stopping here! :D Best choice.

Stay in the ocean front king room. Great view and just a short walk across the road to the beach. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were really clean and spacious.

We love this place! We're from Santa Barbara but often have a getaway week end… and the Sand Peebles Inn is just perfect. The staff, the service and most of all, we always look forward for the nice variety of breakfast they have… the place is very clean, fireplace that makes the room really cozy with all the different color of lighting in the fireplace.

Just back from 2 nights here and, for what it claims, it's superb. Beds comfortable, rooms obviously vary but ours was huge, staff accommodating and helpful. Breakfast adequate. I suspect we will return when in the area.

What a slice of heaven the Sand Pebbles Inn is! Please, please, please plan on staying here more than one night or you will regret it! From the moment in June when we entered and were greeted warmly to regretably having to leave. It was perfect. Our room was wonderful with a window directly overlooking the beach and ocean in the sitting area, the fireplace going and comfy beds. We loved it so much and were so relaxed that we did not want to leave and ordered pizza delivered to our room. We sat there watching the ocean and sunset eating our delicious pizza and drinking wine. What more could you want? If I can give any advice, it is to stay here longer, enjoy the surroundings and relax! You will not regret it. If you can get a room with a balcony, try to. It was very windy and cool when we were there so it was nice to enjoy the gorgeous view from inside. The staff is very kind and accomodating. We cannot wait to return only next time it will be longer.
