Was surprised how nice this place was. Clean room, surprisingly spacious, good facilities, a bargain for anyone needing to get to the Moscone Center or Downtown. Only drawback was no A/C, but a window I could open plus ceiling fan handled that. Will stay here again next time.

There were some positives but I will start with this… It was the smallest room I have ever stayed in but that wasn't the problem. I stayed in room 217. I called because the air conditioner wouldn't turn on. The desk clerk told be that I didn't have air conditioning and to use my ceiling fan. It was a hot day. I found a very small fan in the closet. I opened the window and put it in front of that. To get air circulating in the room I had to prop open our door to the hallway. When trying to sleep I heard and felt the very loud music from the lounge downstairs. If you are alone, going for one or two nights and don't mind the noise, it is a great place to stay in a room WITH A/C. It was clean, friendly, good location and Groupon gave a good deal. Remember it doesn't have a parking garage and it $34 to park 24hrs.

Very nice hotel close to the BART (train station) in San Francisco. Hotel rooms are small but we'll organised. Security is good. For entering inside only card key will work so make sure you don't lose it. Staff is very helpful and available to help all the time. Overall experience was very good.

Overall, the stay was nice. Friendly concierge, room was generally clean, hotel was located conveniently. However, keep anything you don't want stolen by housekeeping locked in a suitcase or safe. They took a $130 valuable and denied it. Was on desk before cleaning. Gone after cleaning. They evidently have sticky hands. I hope the hotel will make this right, I will update if they do.

The hotel is beautiful. I liked the experience of everything there but the actual sleeping: Beds are not very comfortable, rooms are fairly basic (no microwave) and you hear your neighbors all the time. It's a shame as it's really a nice and conveniently located hotel.

I had been given a room of 15m square, that is literally the space for a bed to a square and a half with a few inches of space around. I was forced to pay extra to live in a more decent space. The cleanliness was discreet but not great, same for the commodities in the room.

The Hotel is in a great location and the rooms are pretty nice. To be in San frat, if booked pee time has reasonable prices. Services or in daily room with change of towels, bathrobes and, obvit, blankets. The associated restaurant is medium level but also here with good prices compared to average! Recommended!

The rooms are not huge but a comfortable size. The staff was really friendly and helpful, I definitely would return to stay again.

Hotel located in downtown San Francisco but all in all in a quiet area.

A nice hotel, reasonably priced considering the location. The bar at ground level offers a good selection of drinks, including some interesting craft beers. I stayed in a rather large room (again, compared to your average American hotel room, that is) and slept well the whole week, managing to do some work too.
The bathroom was also fine, with a good shower, which could have been a bit more powerful, maybe.
I'd go back there, should I return to San Francisco.

I stayed here with my wife, two adult daughters and future son in law for five days. The hotel has a very nice bar and restaurant and all hotel staff were very friendly. Great location to use public transportation. You can catch a bus or train to all the touristic locations. We read a lot of complaints about bums in San Francisco before choosing this city as our vacation destination and like any major metropolitan area this city does have its fair share of homeless. They are not mean or scary. Just looking for hand outs. I lost about 10 cigarettes, 5 dollars and bought one man two chicken breasts at a corner market. One very nice homeless lady gave me hug for the cigarette. My family and I felt very welcomed and safe at this hotel and in this city.

Perfect for a stay in SF. Rooms are clean and exactly what you need for a trip. The rooms are small, but if you're traveling you will not spend much time in them anyway. Staff is very friendly and willing to get you anything you will need. Central location, although not far from the tenderloin which could be rough so be careful walking weather of the hotel at night. I stay here whenever I'm in town for business.

Nice entrance and perfect location, but it's downhill from there. The room is dark and depressing and the carpet in the hallway looks like someone dumped motor oil on a white carpet. The most bizarre and disgusting carpet I have ever seen. What were they thinking?

Pleasant hotel. Good buy. Clean. Friendly staff. Jeremy @ concierge desk gave us some excellent recommendations. The least-expensive, single-bed room is tiny. But It's a great buy if you don't need a bunch of space. Great location — very close to multiple kinds of public transportation. Find best price online, then call the Fusion direct to book.

It is very clean and efficient with great price. Location is very close to attractions and shopping places. Very close to cable cars. Good security. Great for bussiness trips or family vacations.

It was in the perfect location! In between Union Square and Market street. A smaller hotel but a very personal experience. The staff there are amazing as well.

The location is nice if you like a mix of drunk, loud and homeless people. Pony up another $60 for valet parking and a $30 resort fee. The room is so small I can almost stretch to touch the other wall. The toilet is the perfect size for a toddler. The bathroom door sticks like hell and the knob just came off. Also, my sheet was ripped. To top it off, my mom just gashed her leg on the bed because the damn room is so tight and the bed sticks out to much… NEVER AGAIN!

The lobby is beautiful and amenities are beautiful and the location is incredibly central; it is less than 3 blocks away from public transportation (i. E. The "BART"). However, the individual rooms are not the best. Though they are very well organized, they tend to smell moldy and seem rather under maintained.

Aside from no way access to parking (had to park at a nearby garage) it was very nice. The bathroom feels updated and the room had abundant storage, it felt like a studio apartment (not a bad thing for just starting overnight). Breakfast was very tasty.

Tiny, warm rooms, double bed supposedly seem rather single and above all air machines in the inner courtyard that make it impossible to sleep without plugs. (The Give us plugs was the only solution that Noa facilitated the hotel)

Great location especially if you love to shop. Accessible to the famous SF cable trams as well. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly.

Stayed here for a conference and found it as a deal through Groupon. Fortunately the weather wasn't too hot as there is no AC in the room. The hotel did provide a floor fan I found in the closet. Additionally it is the smallest room I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in major cities in both US and abroad. Staff is polite.

The hotel is located on Ellis Street and Powell street, at short walking distance of union square. The staff is friendly and Hotel is clean and comfortable. It has a variety of restaurants nearby including an Indian-Pakistani chat restaurant. The famous San Francisco tram called cable car start point at Powell — Market street corner. At Powell and Market streets, there is a cable car turntable thats the beginning stop for two lines, the Powell-Mason and Powell — Hyde lines. The Powell-Mason line runs up and over Nob Hill to Bay Street at Fisherman's Wharf. The Powell-Hyde line runs over Nob and Russian hills before ending at Aquatic Park near Ghiradelli Square The only problem is the neighbourhood is v close to tenderloin and hence does not seem a safe of good place in the evenings.

Room was super small, 2 people cant stand together. Worse than that — windows cannot be opened! And A/C makes noise like 4 tractors! So no way to get fresh air, woke up sweat.

This is probably the smallest room I've ever stayed in. Of course, I'm ok with that because I don't usually do much in my room and never need the insane amount of space most rooms provide. However, there is one thing that completely turns me off of the room: the lack of AC! I'm a cold-weather person and the ceiling fan in the room doesn't quite cool off the room. It is currently 69 outside, but feels like 80 in the room!

Beatifull hotel! Very good staff! But… very, very HOT! There is no air condicioned in the standards room! Just a fan! The room is super hot during the day and during the night! Impossible to stay!

Noisy and expensive. The reception is however nice and the hotel well located in San Francisco. The main thing is here.

The room was fine when my wife stayed there, but they charged her $150 after check out because they say she smoked (possibly marijuana? ) in the room. No one in our family smokes (cigarettes or otherwise), there were no other people in the room, and clearly the smoke smell either (a) didn't exist or (b) was created by staff members. When they finally returned her call to dispute the charge (it took 2 calls to get a response), they said there is no recourse except to work with our credit card, and that they'd fight the credit card company. What kind of customer service is that?! Basically, they can get away with charging anybody anything once they have your credit card, and they've proved themselves willing to do just that. I'm not surprised at all by the review from June regarding a staff member stealing something and the hotel not caring to provide any assistance. What a shady business.

If you expect similar quality from regular hotel chains such as holiday inns, you will be very disappointed. Room is outdated, very small, and indeed smelly. I requested to change the room due to its smell. But the hotel staff told me that it is from the carpet. Also, twin bed room does NOT have a/c, which is ridiculous. Technically, if you will stay in a twin bed room, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. There is a club nearby or downstairs, so it is quite noisy as well. If you are a person who doesn't get bothered by any noise, take it. Otherwise, don't take this hotel. Also, the bedsheets and blanket seem to be very old. Staff is friendly but that doesn't guarantee the quality of the room. Don't come this hotel. There are more options nearby with similar price range.

Very nice hotel, especially for the price. Front desk and housekeeping staff have been friendly and helpful, and the central location is outstanding. My guestroom seems to have been recently remodeled with decent finishes and furnishings, but the amount of street noise that comes into the room is bothersome. Some better sound insulation in the walls and replacing the current guest room windows with double-paned sealed ones would go a long way toward making this hotel especially enjoyable. Overall though, a great choice if you're trying to avoid spending a fortune.

The rooms are tiny, impossible to open the bathroom door because the bed blocks the opening. With seen on a garbage dump. Same for breakfast the size of the room, but very well located in San Francisco.

Very convenient location. Check in process is fairly easy. Walls between each room it's not soundproof. You'll get to hear people argument etc…

My colleagues came to San Francisco for a business trip and booked this hotel. You know when you go to a fancy place you have expectations but this hotel ruined part of it. Bad rooms, windows looking to the alley, noise at night, bad customer service combined together resulted in a bad overall experience. When my friends wanted to check out early, first they said ok, then they wanted to charge an extra night. Unless the city runs out of hotels don't stay here.

Overall my stay at Hotel Fusion was good, and I wouldn't mind staying there again. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included, which I appreciated, but the selection was small and served from a room that could only hold about four people standing (you grab your bagel and then leave). The rooms were comfortable and, though small, not lacking. The bathroom wasn't anything to write home about, but was well kept and stocked with everything you would except. To summarize, there were no issues or bad experiences, but no real pleasant surprise either.

This place was great. The location is good. The staff is always friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are a little small, but one isn't supposed to spend their vacation or business trip in their hotel room.

I'm not usually one to write reviews but I wanted to warn about the poor customer service I received at this hotel. I had to change my booking to cancel the final day and notified them a few hours past the cut-off time. I must have been in this situation some 20 times in my life and the hotels have always been accommodating. Not so at Fusion. I received a very argumentative and rude response with a finger pointing exercise at how I booked… "You should have booked directly via the hotel not via a third party"! So I found the manager to be rude and a showing a real lack of care. If you like a hotel that cares for your business, don't stay here.

I stayed for 7 nights in a single room. The room was large enough, all the facilities you can think of and quiet during the night. My room was on the third floor. Other reviews mention noise from the club but I haven't heard that. They were renovating the gym during my stay which resulted in hammering, grinding, using a nailgun… from 8AM till 6PM. Staff is friendly, price is very good and location is great. Very close to the Moscone center, right around the corner of the cablecar turnaround and in the center of everything you would want to visit. The building is very old so it shows (squeaky wooden floors underneath the carpet, old wooden windows that have been painted over a few times… but nothing that would affect your stay. The breakfast is fine. Toast, bagels, buns, porridge, fruit, coffee and juice. You take whatever you want and as much as you want and you go to your room. It's not how other hotels provide breakfast but I had no problem with it at all. I would definitely stay here again.

On the edge of Union Square, this groovy boutique hotel is a convenient, inexpensive, clean, fun place to stay. The staff is helpful and competent. The design is relaxing and cool. I will definitely stay here on future trips to San Francisco.

I agree that I choose this Hotel, the simple fact of seeing that hotel cares about reviews of their customers, I can imagine that will be very attentive…

Not worth worth, the only thing good location.

Located in a great location to turn with the vehicles… If you have the car around there are several paid parking lots that start from $25 up, the convention of Hotel X parking varies from $27 to $37 per day…
We stayed two nights, the room was not very big but it was clean, maybe the bed could be a little bigger because it resembled a bit of a square and a half… The staff was very kind and always ready to answer our questions…
For breakfast there is a small room on the top floor that offers different types of brioches (Council to microwave) coffee, milk, fruit juice, everything you can bring in the bedroom on little trays… Wifi in all the rooms! For those who stop only a few days I recommend it!

This 2007 did a West Coast tour, the 2 first day slept in the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco (the best, best) and back for the same price at Hotel Fusion, hotel in my life, I'm very serious, the walls are plasterboard, not sleeping, breakfast is the joke, as located well to the NIKKO ultimately but a tremendous difference Hotel Fusion is the worst.
