Reviews of Europa Hotel 2*
I’ll start with location. For nightlight and resteraunts it’s perfect. On the other hand because of the reason I stated above it’s fairly loud. The rooms are a whole different animal. There is no redemption for the quality of these rooms. It’s clear that no one cleans the rooms or keeps them up to date with paint or heater covers. The rooms qualifies as a dilapidated shack not to mention it smells like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes right before I checked in. I don’t believe this should be an acceptable living standard for anyone regardless of the duration of time spent in the room.
It is absolutely absurd that this place has any reviews above 1 star. I am not sure what is worse: 1) the absurd amount of noise coming from the Chinese music band playing directly across the street. Its the same native tune played over and over meant to attract tourists into a store — it’s Insanely loud and plays from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM. It’s so loud that you literally cannot think. 2) The dance club that is right next door. You might as well be inside of the dance clubs — because the base rattles the windows all night. I put my TV on loud just so I could try to fall asleep (didnt work). 3) The fact that that this is on a busy street. That means that all conversations, yells and cars on the street 1 story below can be heard loud and clear right inside your bedroom. Beyond those 3 appallingly negative points — this place still manages to get worse. They have no air conditioning. They share bathrooms (they are disgusting). There are burn holes (I’m guessing from cigarettes. ) in the blankets and sheets. The rooms are downright filthy. I understand this is a 1 star hotel and “you get what you pay for”, but even for that incredibly low standard — this place is ridiculous. It should not still be in business.

The most disgusting hotel my boyfriend and I have ever set foot in. We didn't even stay, we left shortly after checking in and looking at the room. $60 wasted! The room greeted us with a stuffy atmosphere and an obnoxious, dirty cologne scent. The door had clearly been knocked in at some point and had merely been patched up instead of being replaced. There was hair on the bed and blood-like splatters on the door and wall. Sketchy and gross as hell!
