I've stayed here twice now in consecutive years. Excellent location near fisherman's wharf and the end of the cable car line. Free parking a bonus, it can be very expensive otherwise. Rooms are very adequate, clean, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are nice. No restaurant or bar, but plebtp of options nearby. Likes it enough to make it my go-to when in SFO.

We have stayed at the Columbus Motor Inn when in San Francisco for the past 20 years. This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to both Fisherman's Wharf and Chinatown as well as a variety of restaurants. The price is reasonable and the hotel doesn't charge all of the extra fees that other hotels in the area charge including parking fees. The rooms are attractive, clean and quiet and the people at the front desk are always knowledgeable and helpful regarding suggestions for restaurants in the area, etc.

I have been staying in this hotel for the past 15 years and every time it is a delight. The rooms are always clean and smell free, the hotel is located off the noisy streets but still perfect distance from everything to sight see, and the rooms are very quiet. The beds are very comfortable and everything in the rooms works perfectly. On top of all this, customer service is always amazing and they treat every guest like a VIP.

A fantastic find in San Francisco, great spacious rooms, currently undergoing remodelling on whole building but did not impact our trip. Nice and close to a plethora of dining options, and a short walk down to the waterfront. Free parking!

We stayed here in May 2018 for a few nights in a suite. The 3rd floor was renovated and was wonderful. Very close to some awesome breakfast and lunch places and the staff was helpful. Great place to stay. Parking and everything.

Decided on this hotel on both 2011 and 2012 San Francisco trips and both occasions were satisfactory. Room was clean. Had free guest Wi-Fi. The hotel is next to a club. Free parking for guests, not a whole lot of spaces. Walking distance to trolley.

Excellent find. In room 313, recently renovated two room suite. Highly recommend if staying in San Francisco. Free Parking.

The good: ideal location, free indoor garage parking, fairly spacious room, decently fast Wi-Fi, and a very good price for this area of San Francisco. Unfortunately, to get this you have to be willing to put up with a few things. The bad: lots of road noise coming through the window from buses and cars on Columbus St, old and tired fixtures and decor, generally dingy. As a place to crash that's close to everything, it's great. I would stay there again, especially for the secure parking for my motorcycle. Just be sure to bring ear plugs and a white noise app on your phone and don't mind the dirty, rumpled carpets, the 70s era bathroom fixtures, and the rickety elevator.

Great value right in the middle of a great part of town.

Clean rooms. Very very close to every attraction … Calm and safe neighborhood. Friendly staff and amenities we're good. Easy parking available in the hotel will choose the same hotel again if am coming to SFO.

Location and private parking are the most values of this place for reasonable price. Room is enough to have a rest and take a shower in the morning. Needs to be renovated to get 5 stars.

Great location and reasonable clean rooms. They are now renovating the rooms and looking forward to the new rooms. Hotel is close to the wharf and Italian quarter. Walking distance to union square, Chinatown and embarcadero.

The place is nice and very well located. I do not put 5 stars because the rooms are something old.

Clean, friendly. The suite we had was very nice set up. Had a balcony which looked out towards the street and you could see the bay.

Great place to stay, location, location, location! It was perfect for our budget and free parking was a plus. Chris was very helpful with suggestions and directions Other staff were all very nice too I would recommend for all and I'm sure to return Nothing fancy, just fabulous.

Very good location if your stop is to go to the port, parking and free Wi-Fi, but no breakfast included, good service and attention to the customer.

Good location but that's about. Outdated rooms, stained carpets. Would look elsewhere to stay next time.

Fantastic location to visit heart of San Francisco, all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Free parking is also great if driving! Will be staying again next visit! Fully recommend.

It has free parking and is within walking distance to fisherman's wharf. The rooms are clean and quiet. It's a nice place for a good price. I'd definitely call it a good value!

Perfect place to stay in the City. Reasonably Priced. Hotel was nice and staff was friendly. Location was GREAT! Walking distance to Wharf, Alcatraz, and China Town. FREE Parking. I would stay here again and recommend to others. No breakfast but close to IHOP.

The hotel is located in UnmittelbarerNähe from Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Lombard Street and the start of a cable car (approximately 5min walk). Also the Union Square, Golden Gate Bridge, etc. Are easy to reach by bus/cable car, the price/performance ratio is good for the location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free ice in the corridors. Unfortunately there is no fridge/microwave in the room. For a next San Francisco stay we would choose this hotel again,
