I've been trying to get the hotel to contact me regarding a reservation for 3 weeks without any acknowledgement. Really poor customer service, be careful if you are thinking of making a reservation.

Incompetent leadership … Only employee (probably the managing director I could not recognize exactly as he was constantly running around with a vacuum cleaner-like bag in front of his face
— if he let himself be looked at) completely talent-free and incompetent.
Shows no interest in eliminating problems and grievances.
We had booked the " room " 3 days … Room service, or at least fresh towels … MISDISPLAY!
We even had to dispose of our waste ourselves.
Defective TV has not been repaired or replaced …
we were told: " Sorry … TV not Good " left.
The ice machine is located in the parking lot right next to 2 dirty garbage cans.
The parking lot, unguarded, dirty and visited at night by homeless and junkies costs 25, — dollars a day … in addition to the 99, — Doller what the breakage stall itself costs.
Summarized:
— We were left to our own devices.
— The accommodation is not worth a fraction of what it costs.
— However, the presentation on the Internet has absolutely nothing to do with what is found here.

Super nice management very welcoming and helpful. Nice location short hike up to Lombard street or toward fisherman's wharf. We recommend a stay here.

Room was nice. It is the Travelodge so I wasn't expecting fancy sheets. For some reason I have a coffe maker that doesn't have the carafe. Its in a moderately convenient area based around what I wanted to do. The downside is the fact that I'm on the first floor and some kid was running around practically all night in the room above me. Also the walls are EXTREMELY thin.

My family and I stay here in May for 5 days. Our first room we were assigned was dirty when we walked in, so they immediately gave us a new (and slightly larger) room. We also got a crib placed in our room for our daughter, free of charge. Great location and within walking distance of the popular sights. Would stay here again.

Price was okay. Cleanliness was a 4.20. Dollars a day to park. Skinny pillow. They turn off your AC when they clean the room so, when you arrive back to your room it is warm and has to cool down. They charge you 11.00 dollars to hold your bag until check in time. They advertise free breakfast which included watered down orange juice, stale muffins, and one choice of cereal. Given the good price, I would not stay here again.

Very close to the famous part of Lombard street. It is a steep uphill walk from this hotel to the twisted section of Lombard, but it is close. About a 15 minute walk down to the bay and all the shopping and food options down there. As far as the hotel room itself, the walls are very thin. We had someone on the floor above us stomping for most of the night along with some people partying in a nearby room on the same floor. Made for a tough night's sleep. Our room was very large, but the bathroom sections were small. They do have an elevator and luggage carts which made loading and unloading much easier. They also provide parking which was very nice because trying to find parking in downtown SF is painful.

We stayed here because of the location. When we pulled up we liked the looks of the hotel. Our room was nice and big we had a 2 queen bed room. We had a fridge no microwave. The view was nice. It was about a 10 minute walk to Pier 39. Lots of places to get food within walking distance. The staff was wonderful. Parking is tight but they have covered parking. The breakfast was just your basic hotel breakfast nothing fancy but free. Needless to say we will be staying here again. We felt very safe here with our son.

Big and spacious room, excellent location to pier 39 and the surrounding activities. About 15 min walk to pier 39. Great as long as you don't go in expecting a hotel standard. Parking at $20.

Noisy hotel, large room and renovated but bathroom ridiculous. Approximate cleaning.

The bathroom is very small compared to the room. The rooms on the third floor are very very noisy. There is a constant ventilation noise. The bedding is good quality is comfortable. Breakfast is non-existent.

It was not great. It was in a great location. The beds and pillows we're really hard and not very comfortable. When we got there our cards didn't work so a guy had to come and help us and got it on the first try then said there was no trick. The parking for the hotel cost 20$ a night which they did not tell us about until we got there. The shower was warm but had bad water pressure. The breakfast was small they just had muffins eggs and yogurt and coffee. It tasted good was just limited.

Would not recommend. Room smelled musty. Could only partially open bathroom door. Hit sink. Noisy. Would not recommend.

My friend and I booked king beds (no fridge no microwave we had a cooler) here and checked in early enough to be neighbors. This hotel has doors linking rooms to one another which was a major plus made our trip very memorable. We stayed on the lowest level which had upstairs foot traffic from the stairs. I would advise to request a higher level if u are a light sleeper. Although it did wake me up I was not bothered by it. I liked being able to walk outside directly to the car. Parking* we arrived late on Saturday and parking was very very limited. They have a pile of dirt on good spaces… idk. We moved cones and parked in red.

Good place for the money and comparing to other options available. Close to Golden Gate bridge and Fisherman dwarf. Not to far from downtown San Fransisco. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and not smelly, washroom shower head was too low, that might be intentional to discourage people to take longer showers by looking at California water problems. San Fransisco roads are terrible though, I am not sure what is the city doing with all the money they are collecting.

Excellent location! Room clean and very spacious. Breakfast can be improved. The parking lot is mega economic for the area.

The rooms are good, they contain good beds and many places to hang places. It's major problem is the shower which is slightly too low. The breakfast is small but enough. Great value for money.

The best thing about staying here was the complimentary breakfast. The hotel is accessible with both wheelchair parking and wheelchair entrance. There are quiet rooms that are away from the Lombard Street, so you may like to state your preference you you mind some quiet. There's parking available and a patio kinda space if you need to stair at the sky :-D.

Hotel clean and very well located about twenty minutes from the city center on foot as well as the harbor. Friendly welcome. Only downside the room for breakfast is too small a pity. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

Decent hotel in a good location at a great price. No frills place, but the price reflects this. The place is nice and the room was clean. Would have been to have a mini fridge and a microwave, but with the location of this being so close to the action and the low price, I could live without it. Walking distance to most anything you want to do.

The hotel is well located (close to the Fisherman´s Warf and a little far from the centre) and has the necessary for an economic stay and with parking in SF.
From what we understand it is two adjoining buildings that are only connected from the outside by the reception.
We hired the service to take off for 3 Pax, when we arrived we had to pay for an additional cot or we had to sleep all three in a king size bed.
The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable (not the cot) and had Wi-Fi, coffee maker and complimentary coffee.
Although it indicates that it has parking, it charges an additional and the capacity is very limited (better to park at dusk and walk to dinner.
Breakfast is self-service and quite complete: coffee, muffins, cereals, butter, jam, bread and also have toaster.

Great location for a walking family. We could walk many places to and from here. Clean, friendly and comfy. The building has an odd arrangement and we had a little trouble finding our room.

This place is great because it has overnight parking for 20$ (not free). Luckily I read a review that said they now charges because they were listed as free parking. Rooms are simple, clean and do the job. Shower was teeny, but again for the price a decent deal. Front desk staff were very cordial, and Continental breakfast was (again) simple but did the rock.

Budget Hotel in San Francisco with a very good location breakfast included.

A great hotel, conveniently located for visiting the city, comfortable at the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman's Wharf.
With buses passing through the Van Ness you can easily reach all the major sightseeings.
It is still incredibly a quiet place with quiet rooms.

Very good location. For two stars hotel he is very good and clean. The breakfast is good. Just what you need for the morning.

Solid budget hotel. Speedy check in, easy check out. Decent breakfast included with plenty of outdoor seating.

Great location. Simple furnishing but clean and practical. Only downfall is the paper thin walls. You can hear everything.

Great location, just 3 blocks away from the crooked part of Lombard street, you can easily walk to Ghirardelli square and even all the way to Pier 39. My room was big but the bathroom was very small, breakfast was good but the breakfast room was small. Beds were comfortable and staff was friendly, definitely recommend this hotel.

It's not much! Poor breakfast and nice rooms.

Right on famos Lombard St. Rooms were clean, and very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Had hbo on TV. Vending machines, the room had a safe. Staff was very friendly. They offer a free breakfast but we did not stay and eat. Will definitely be staying there again in the future.

It is more a big motel than a hotel but the staff are friendly and they make the rooms every day!

Value for money. The room was comfortable, warm and clean. Safe parking, Wi-Fi and breakfast were a bonus. Staff were welcoming and happy to help. Short walk to Pier. Plenty of public transport. Perfect for our 2 night stay, we would definitely recommend.

A good location at the crossroads between the fisherman's Warth and the Golden Gate Park via the Golden Gate Bridge, then when to the benefits you have to stay measure it is a motel so it is motel benefits and fortunately there are motels For us to see the price of hotels and life in the USA, me and my wife were well accommodated it was very sufficient.

Very good motel but breakfast is not top.

I was there very well. The room was huge. The big bathroom. Breakfast with no shame and no praise. The Wi-Fi not too powerful.

The breakfast room made 10m2 for 200 people. Requires to queue outside in the cold to be able to access a very limited buffet.
The bathroom… just a joke… The sink in the room and the bathtub in the toilet…
Moreover you hear the neighbors talking in the next room and especially the neighbors of the top walking on your head.
Frankly, you have to flee.

Excellent location close to several attractions of SFO, good service. A different hotel, good price and ideal if you are going to spend all day getting to know the city, since you used it to bathe and sleep. It has no restaurant.

Top single floor above the office has a fantastic view. Nice private clean updated. Great deal for a couples getaway. Must request top floor above the office.

Good location Close to the most important thing to do. And even on foot.

No frills. The room had been upgraded. The shower was a trickle-no kidding, breakfast was a wrapped Danish and a bottle of oj. No elevator so I requested a ground floor rm, the clerk was very nice, helpful. Location is very convenient to old Fisherman's Wharf, sights and other major hotels. I was there for a conference at the Hyatt. It is up a hill, perfect for me, probably not suitable for others.

Outstanding rooms, I loved the staff. I plan on returning real soon.

Desk clerk unhelpful and no information given about breakfast. No lift so if you have trouble with stairs this place is not for you. Also $25 a night to park the car and you have to leave by 11am… All in all poor value I thought fisherman's wharf or no!

Good rooms for a good price. There is free Wi-Fi and the Hotel is very close to fishermans wharf. It is only a bit loud in the room from the street.

All good. They only sound levels when someone walks up. Excellent location and good price.

Stayed here last two nights (August 2013) in one of the recently refurbished rooms (All rooms are being progressively upgraded and the exterior will be refreshed) The new rooms are spotless and well appointed for the class of motel/hotel it is. Largish flatscreen TV, Air Conditioning, Microwave, Fridge. No Ironing equipment though. All linen etc was new and clean, bathroom spotless. Found the bed very comfortable. Short walk to the end of Fishermans Wharf and the Cable Car network. Staff were polite and friendly and no trouble. Not so great bits: Wifi was a bit patchy and unreliable, 'Continental breakfast' is a small stand in reception with packaged muffins, SunnyD and Nespresso. Would stay again if alone or on a budget. Its is a very comfortable and clean place to sleep while you go do something.
