Clean as I expected, the guy in the reception Jerome, great guy, so friendly! I wish all the locations have a Jerome in the front to give you a big welcome!

A little disappointed no Breakfast, no water or juice. Ice maker on 7th floor.

Great service! Rooms are a little outdated though.

Unfortunately could not say I loved this hotel. It was how you say, GHETTO. Some parts were nice (e. G bathrooms, dining room and complimentary breakfast) other (most everything else was awful). The elevators were broken the whole time we were checked in anf only one set worked (try lugging all you suit cases up five flights). Room smelled off and kinda moldy; old, frumpy rooms, and snobby staff. Asked for towels and was treated as if I asked for a heart transplant. They even checked my id. Would not recommend or stay there again.

Best Holiday Inn Express experience ever! Friendly service and a clean establishment. Everything actually worked. The standard breakfast is served but continuously tidied up and refreshed; and always with smiles. If you're looking to stay in this area, this is the place.

Ordinarily I would rate a Holiday inn with three stars, but the staff here was extremely courteous and helpful. It was meticulously clean as well. Many hotels and resorts turn the air conditioning off in the wee hours to save money. This hotel kept the air conditioning on all night… I noticed because I suffer from insomnia. Their pillows are labeled on the pillow cases as either firm or soft. Check-out time was at noon, but because my husband had a trial going they allowed me to stay in my room till 3 in the afternoon. Very accommodating. Nice breakfast in the morning too.

Our hotel experience was amazing. The place was clean, and the employees were very nice. Jerome was especially great, he was kind, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to!

Management is very nice and very helpful/willing to assist. Breakfast served in the morning (I believe it's free) and the rooms are very well kept. Beds were pretty average and the rooms were spacious. Not bad for the price considering other hotels in the area.

The room was great but asked for one near the elevator. It was directly the opposite. Staff super friendly. The pool was terrific. Coffee amazing.

The worst place I have ever stayed they dobble booked the room so when I got their their were a nother person bags thier … bugs all ovee room.

Second time guest. Thankful to find a quiet, comfortable, and clean lodging. Close to the freeway and 24hour dining.

The Van Nuys Holiday Inn was very accommodating, especially with our booking a room at the last minute. I must say the bed and pillows were amazing—I was tempted to fold them up into my suitcase? Lol. The continental breakfast was more than satisfying. I’d stay there again, and parking is free.

No hot water in the evening. Room smelled of stale smoke and had burns on the carpet. The gym had a water machine that did not work. The shower head sprayed every way but on me. Not much for 175 a night.

Manager was not friendly or accommodating did not want to honor my travel agent rate discount like other IHG hotels have despite me showing my certificate, website, calling my agency for verbal confirmation she said this particular holiday inn express is individually owned and does not have to follow what other IHG hotels do. I just drove 6 hours from Northern California with my girl and my daughter never again.

The room is adequate, the TV is high definition and also has a movie catalog that you can rent in addition to the usual TV channels, the only disgust in my opinion is the pressure of the water in the shower as this is very high and arrived you have Ta to hurt, the breakfast they offer is very good and complete, the people in charge of reception are very friendly.

Good experience, at reception I attended very well and the room was spacious, also noticed that clean well, the breakfast hill until 10:30 Although the sign said 9:30

The staff here is very helpful. The breakfast served is delicious. The rooms are neat and tidy. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. They have a 24 hr gym. A swimming pool which can be visited between the given time. And last but not the least their room prices are super good.

Credit card fraud traced back to this estaBlishment… unauthorized charges to my mother's credit card. My mother is the kindest of souls… such a shame we live in this kind of world. Thank God that tha situation was able to be rectified thru her bank… and that God was looking out for her… Thank u Jesus!.

Awesome place to spend the weekend on anniversary get away. When my wife and I entered the room there was a gift waiting for us. Outstanding customer service.

Lots of people will say this is an old hotel. While it retains the the quirks of an older hotel, it is extremely clean. The staff extremely accommodating and friendly. The pool is huge and deep, with warm weather being outdoors was a great benefit for this trip. Hotel drops all of the pretense and gives a clean and nice place to stay for our extended trip. On the 7th floor it was extremely quite, and on the North side there was a great view of mountains. Thank You!

Very nice place to hold a business meeting. The environment is really peaceful and the place is very modern. I like they way they handle clients.

Stopped by to visit someone and the staff was friendly and the hotel was nice and clean. I was able to have a free cup of coffee which was a real good cup of coffee.

My family from canada stayed at this hotel last week its the best hotel out here in the valley would reccomend stay again.

Terrible experience! Room was not very clean, dusty and hair on things. Smelled like smoke. Hallways were extremely hot and humid and had an odor. Front desk when checking in was not helpful, couldn't find reservations, Didn't seem to want to help find out until we kept pushing. Then the evening shift front desk worker was making unprofessional gestures and remarks towards my husband. For the price of the room I definitely wouldn't stay here again nor recommend it to anyone.

It was okay. Whole hotel, from lobby to room, smelled musty. Bed linens did not feel like top quality, 100% cotton, but were decent enough.

I had a very pleasant night at this hotel they were very kind and they were very prompt. And the room was really nice. I usually don't sleep well in hotels but this time I fell asleep no problem.

All of the staff members were amazing. Jose helped me before I even got onto the plane and made sure in was able to get an early check-in. Ali was great as well he made conversation my whole stay and always had a smile on his face he should get a raise! Also Jonathan told us were there was a great burger place and he nailed it. It was one of the best I had ever been too. Only thing I didn't like about this hotel was that the bathroom smelled when I checked in. With all that set aside the staff really does value customer service!

Good food but Wi-Fi and rooms pretty bad.

Super slow internet, watching youtube impossible, loading a picture took a minute. Called today cause I needed a room and wanted to verify if they can promise higher speed internet than last time. They were not able to promise a normal internet speed. This is 2015 and $145 per night hotel should have a normal internet speed. Not staying there again.

This Hotel Breakfast was great. Love the lobby of the Harbor hotel. The 5-6PM complimentary wine and beer hour was awesome. A great way to meet people from all over and play a couple table games! Then we have the late night 9PM cookie snack. They delivered two fresh chocolate chip cookies directly to my room and put me right to sleep. They even tucked me in!

Really enjoyed our stayed at this hotel, the staff was really friendly. The rooms were clean, modern and the beds were very comfy. The continental breakfast was delicious and it had a variety. I would definitely come back!

Unusual expedited for a Holiday Inn — was told our total charge including charges and everything would be $165. Come morning, they're claiming it would be $195 total, and they absolutely not bend on the sudden up charge. Disappointed in that, but the room was alright.

It's the best hotel I've ever stood in. It doesn't even feel like a hotel ; more like a resort. Hospitality was outstanding, from the front seat service to the guys who work outdoor in the freezing Van Nuys climate parking your car. I loved the professionalism and the small things like waking you up in the mornings with paper and coffee served to you in your room. I also used all the facilities which were unbelievable. However for the stay it wasn't cheap though they did upgrade room for no additional cost and it was worth ever penny.

Clean, modern and the most comfortable beds. Fabulous staff. Had my wedding here 5 yrs ago and we visit periodically. Wonderful memories at the Sofitel ;).

Best hotel in chi-town! Was forced to stay at another hotel last week and could not wait to get to my "second home"! Super excited for the draft festivities on Thursday.

It's OK for a holiday Inn express, most other such places are much better. Service is ok, neighbourhood is bad.

My home for a week. My room was mostly clean — noone had cleaned behind the fridge so there was stuff back there I tossed away. I guess this place was recently re-done. The bathroom was pretty nice but the tub could use some TLC. Great shower head. I didn't need the AC which was a plus, since the AC unit is super freaking loud. Breakfast is nothing special. Staff is really nice.

Avoid this Holiday Inn Express if you can. The front desk and the housekeeping staff were good, but alot of bad things contributed to my stay here. It's close to the freeway, but in the Ghetto. There were unauthorized charges to my credit card that the manager refused to fix after I explained my situation. Was treated like a number not a guest, and I'm a Priority Club Platinum member. On the plus side they brought me a mini fridge when I asked as there wasn't one in my room, and they had nice new TV's. Breakfast was pretty gross as usuall. Powdered eggs and mystery meat sasage. Good thing there's a Taco Bell and Denny's next door. Beds were good as usuall for Holiday Inn. Rooms were really small. For the price and fact that it's in a really bad area, avoid it if you can. Thats about all I got for this place.

We booked this last minute on our roadtrip from AK to TX. We had planned to stay at the Hilton in Reseda, but last minute changed it to this due to the no charge for parking and free Wi-Fi. Pulling up we were concerned bc the area is not very nice. However, the rooms have been redone. The hotel room was very, very nice and new. Didn't seem like a cheap makeover either. The only downside was the bathroom was very small, two ppl could not stand in there at the same time. The price was awesome and easy access to the 405.
