Never have my room ready even when I reserve it 24 hours ahead. Rooms that say NO SMOKING. Smell like smoke. No consistency from room to room. One room had very low water pressure. One room had no outlet near the night stand. One room had broken chips on the vanity and badly scratched floor. I don't think they care to maintain this facility and don't care how I feel about my stay. Unfortunately I have to stay for a few more months until the project I am working on is done.

We were there for 6 nights. Every day the room was cleaned in a superb way and the staff members were very helpful with any questions we had. They were polite, courteous, and professional. And the coffee was hot and fresh too. No complaints from us. As we say in Texas, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Thanks. Jay and Betty. Haltom City Texas.

I liked the double queen beds. The best motel around in my opinion! (it seems to be quite new)

This was the nicest Motel 6 I have ever stayed at. The room was very clean and quiet, and the bed was so comfortable, I wanted to take it to my new home. I would definitely recommend this Motel 6 to anyone coming to the Los Angeles area.

Everything was great. The room was nice and clean and smelt nice when we walked in. Only thing is the shower head is so low had to crouch to wash my hair. Only thing I suggest improving on. Other than that amazing.

Poor service best describes my stay at your horrible motel Staff was extremely unprofessional! Rude! They had us stay in a room that was under construction with no amenities! Television set was so out dated and bulky, which was physically drilled to the counter, & took up too much space; with not remote control in sight! I had to get up each time to either change the channel or control the volume! No soap or toilet paper in the room. I purchased my own! Also, the cleaning women walked in on my husband while naked and decided to stay for whatever reason until he actually had to ask her to leave!

Requested non-smoking room. Room absolutely stunk of cigarettes. Too tired and unpacked before I noticed to change rooms. Next day at the business conference I was at, all my work clothes reeked of cigarettes because of your disgusting room. Absolutely disgusting. Woke uo with a sore throat from it. Dont advertise non smoking if it reeks of smoke. Wasted $100.

I'm giving 3 stars only for the low price we paid… the room was clean enough to sleep in. Minus the dry old roach near the bed and the weird bathroom repair on the wall, and the wad of hair on the mattress… it wasn't that bad. This will definitely take you back in time to the early 90's, with the huge box tv, raggedy carpet, and musty comforter (it didn't smell, just looked old). The front desk was nice, very professional. The soda machine only takes crisp AF dollar bills. We had booked the room weeks before for our trip to universal studios, after being exhausted it was ok to just sleep and shower. Don't go to the Mexican food place near the hotel, it's not worth it. Save your $ and go to the Denny's down the street.

Should warn people that the place needs a gated entrance and it's own "police only" parking spot and the place was going to smell like pot, and the beds are hard! That being said, the rooms were reasonably clean and it was quiet.

I just recently stayed there, and experienced some very nice changes! Front desk is personable and friendly. Later that night, when I checked in, the room was toasty — warm! (Thanks to an alert staff member knowing it was freezing cold out) Room was exceptionally CLEAN! Yes, the maids DO take pride in their work! Great Coffee served from 7-10 A. M. Yes, I will stay anytime at this location. Nice and peaceful, too.

First I would like to start off by saying that this was not my first encounter/issue with your Corporation. I paid for a 3 night stay and exchange for a one night stay with bugs coming out of the mattress once again out of room 244. This is the second time with your company that I have been placed in a room and is infested with some sort (s) of bugs this is in no way satisfactory nor healthy by any means. I feel that I am owed a full refund for said nights and your company should honor my request and take responsibility for this inconvenience that seems to be a regular recurrence at Motel 6

Convieniently located by the 405 freeway. Great for a quick night sleep. It can get a little rowdy. It's definately not in the best part of town. Can be a rough crowd late at night. It's not a family environment. If you just looking for a place to crash and it's cheap then take it. Otherwise find somewhere else.

They give good service I like as they cater to me in front are very friendly I like to stay me one hundred comfortable.

For an inexpensive motel, motel 6 is a great chain and this location is excellent. Right off the highway (405) minutes to any store you need on roscoe or supulveda. Staff were very polite and very helpful. I stayed for 5 nights, no problems with guests it was quiet. My room was very clean. Definitely recommend staying here!

I went through two "non-smoking" rooms. They both smelled like smoke and after that I gave up on switching rooms. Other than that the room was decent and satisfied my needs. Staff was friendly and I liked there was a guard to let people in on the property.

The beds are very comfortable. But the installation leaves a lot to be desired.

We arrived one morning at this Motel 6, my wife and my 1 year daughter, asked for a room with 2 beds in the non smoking area, the customer service was very good the parking is extended and the price of the room was very comfortable, the front desk boy I think his name was Hector gave me a discount, excellent attention. In this Motel 6 the rooms are comfortable nothing Fancy, it is very simple and has pool, laundry service, room food service, dry cleaning service. Just in front of the Motel 6 is located a gas station with AMPM 24hrs.

The staff was very nice and helpful, and it was quiet in a busy city thanks to the location being recessed a good distance from the traffic. The controlled access was surprising, but a good security measure. No scary people walking around like at some budget motels we've stayed at in urban areas. The hard floors on the remodeled motels are nice, although the housekeeping staff probably needs tools to clean them properly. They looked clean but weren't really. Prior to this stay we stayed in a different Motel 6 and the floors were the same hard material but not really clean either so I don't think the staff was at fault. I would also suggest some more prominent signage if possible to the entry road; fairly easy to find in the daytime but somewhat difficult at night.

The rooms are out dated and nasty and the property is full of meth heads. Do not… I repeat… Do not bring your children here. Can you say Amber alert? I grew up in this area so trust me I am by no means Prejudice. So when I'm paying over $125 for a handicap room and I walk in to a tall dresser with a big back TV on it where if I bumped it I will die. I would have been safer in a non handicap room. Talk about outdated. All that was missing was the 8-track radio in the bathroom.

Great customer services Emma and Josh is the best they both deserve promotions as managers or supervisors if they’re not. Some other workers there need to be addressed to be more professional. Other than that the motel is a very good place to stay.

I wanted a non-smoking room which I was told wouldn't be available until after 3pm; I booked this room 2 months in advance, waiting until 3pm wasn't an option so me and my family took a smoking room which reeked of marijuana. The location was a little shady as I have never had security at a Motel 6 and the guard wasn't knowledgeable of a shuttle to Universal Studios. Other than that I have no issues with this Motel 6. Would I stay at this location again? No.

If I can put less than 1 start I will. Prostitution in the place and you see everything. It's suppose "smoke free ". LIE! Our bed frame fall down from the wall when I was sitting there breastfeeding my baby. Dust everywhere. DON'T STAY HERE! ps: no towel, no breakfasts, no housekeeping.

The area was not the most desirable but I felt safer having the guard and gate entrance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The hot water took a while to get hot and there was a roach on the floor the morning I was leaving. Overall, if you need to stay in that area, I would recommend it.

I frequent Motel 6's due to constant traveling and not wanting to pay $200 a night for a room. This was one of the better ones I've stayed at. I like the gated access where not everyone is able to just come in and hang out. It was relatively quiet and the rooms were decent. No bugs and it wasn't dirty. They could clean up the outside to make the appearance nicer and a little remodeling wouldn't hurt.

From security to the front desk staff was great. They answered my questions and providing me with helpful information through several communications throughout the day and night. Room and grounds were very clean and we felt safe in the area. The only issue was a mix up with payment at check in, which was attributed to human error. Despite a bit of frustration and inconvenience the overall experience was very good.

On top of that, they had my mother carry out all of the luggage on her own, without even offering to help. It should have been handled a lot differently, for example, explain to her that only one night was paid for and she would have gladly paid for a mistake that your front desk person made. Kicking her out was rude and uncalled for. It caused stress on an elderly woman, and even worse, she was left outside with an active 5 year old for 4 hours sitting on a curb. She could not go anywhere since she had all of the luggage, and if a reservation was made for 2 nights, then why were we only charged for 1 night?! Then on top of all of that when I returned to see her and my grandson on the street, I asked the front desk what happened and they were not concerned, they were not sorry, they just asked if I was going to pay for another night?! I would not even stay here if I was paid. I will not recommend this and I am local. I am not from out of town and I will spread this to everyone that I know so that they do not make the same mistake! If I could give 0 stars and 0's on all of the categories I would.

Although the area is dangerous, I felt very safe on the motel grounds. 24 hour guard and gates and a friendly, warm and attentive staff! The staff deserve 5 stars. I stayed at many of the southern California Motel 6 locations and the staff at North Hills Van Nuys are by far the best. I miss them already!

Customer service has limited to offer basic needs like hair dryer. Needed to ask for little soap for every guest. No microwave. Price is reasonable. You'll get what you pay for.

Few issues in the clean area. I requested Non Smoking. We got smoking room. No shampoo/conditioner. One towel for two people. Had to call for extra.

We had a great stay here, and appreciate the kindness of the staff. We were moving cross country hauling a trailer and our truck broke down. We had to take it to a shop. Even after checking out, they let us keep our unhitched trailer in their parking lot while we got the truck issues sorted out. Very nice front desk people. Room was comfortable and clean.

The facility itself was great. We booked two rooms but unfortunately in room 132 the mattress seemed like a spring had broke off. We didnt have any bad comments about housekeeping. Great job ladies. Although I cant say the same about the receptionist, Carmen. We arrived early to check in and even though they had one of our rooms ready she denied to give us at least a key to that room to refresh up. We drove from 16 hours to be treated the way we were treated by her. All the rest of the employees including the gate guards were very friendly. I would have rated a better but because of the attitude that Carmen gave us we probably wont be returning here and will not recommend to family and friends.

The room in general was perfect for what we needed it for; a place to sleep. We did utilize the pool as well, which was refreshing! The location was great, close to everything that we did. It may be in a less desirable area, but with the tight security, it felt safe. The only complaint was the requests with the front office. The first night we asked for extra pillows, and we never received them. The second night we asked for extra blankets and were told they would bring it to us after 1130pm. We waited up for them and no one showed up. Would have been nice to have been told they did not have any, or they were not coming.

Everybody who greeted me at the Front Desk was very friendly and courteous. The location was near a major highway for great access, yet the room was still quiet even thought it faced the highway. The A/C was quiet and worked well. There seemed to be a guard at a gate entrance to the parking lot most of the time. There was several homeless people begging and living within a block of the hotel. Several eating establishments were nearby and some open 24 hours. Need more high bushes to block the furniture store and beer brewery from view. The shower head was only about five feet high, I had to bend to rinse my hair. One of the two ice machines was broken. No TV channel list in the room and TV didn't display the channel. I didn't think of asking for one (if they were available). Still, I loved the location, the price, and the quiet room. Thanks Again Motel 6.

We had extremely great customer service. The room was nice and clean. The location of the hotel was kind of in a rough neighborhood but we felt safe with it off duty cop as a security guard. Overall it was good enough to where we would stay there again.

My stay was 3 weeks while I transitioned for a move to California. When I first arrived, the room was better than I was expecting. It wasn't until several days into my stay that the insects started showing up in my bathroom. Had to kill maybe 1 or 2 a day. The larger ones were too fast, and would crawl back into holes in the corners of the bathroom before I could get them. Then, a day before the end of my stay the central light switch for the room stopped working. Try to avoid getting a room on the front side by the pool. If you have T mobile at least, cell reception will be incredibly spotty and unreliable in these rooms. I never used the pool, but it looked clean. The staff was helpful. The TV worked well. I never felt unsafe. I slept fairly lightly due to noise from traffic, but that's a matter of personal taste and tolerance. You get what you pay for, in this case. If you're okay with managing insects, and you need some place cheap fast, this place works just fine. Fast food is close by, but you'll have to walk a half hour in any direction to get a Starbucks.

For the money I guess it's good. The "free" Wi-Fi never worked so… Also I had to unplug the phone since it was emitting a weird noise. But I needed a room fast and as cheap as possible so to that end it was enough.

They say you get what you pay for, well not in this case. You over pay for what you get. The smell of cigarettes was overwhelming. As soon as you turn on the lights you can see that both beds had big nasty stains on them. I immediately asked for a different room but they could not accommodate us. If price is a factor then this place will do but I checked out. Would never recommend this place.

Clean, but no fridge or microwave. Also no free Internet. TV was a piece of crap, small old, with one broken speaker. No real cable with a shirt remote that doest have a menu. All it was was clean. That's all you get for a high cost.

The motel was great and smelled nice for a smokers room. Maids were prompt and very tidy also let luggage and anything loose on the bed neatly laid out if it was on the floor previously. Room service didnt have much of a menu but what it had was delicious.

Stained, smelly, broken fixtures, furniture, holes in the box spring. Towel rack fell off the wall, wax dripping on counter tops, Lanoleum peeling, tinest TV in the world! come on 42 in 50 bucks amazon! cigarette burns in the bedding, dirty bedding, blood or some crazy stains on bed, floor, carpet. Smelled of urine! wont be staying here again!

Super expensive for one night. When I entered the room it had a weird smell like wet towels. The floor wasnt vacum and the sheets had burn holes. When I moved the pillows I saw a chip crumb. They did not clean anything after the last people in there. Would never go again. Had to give it a star to review it but I wouldnt give it anything. Dont spend any night in that motel!

Very nice. It was gated so no one who didn't stay couldn't go in and mess around. Fairly priced. Rooms were clean. Tv was outdated but no one seemed to mind. Bed were comfy and clean! No bed bugs!

Noisy, unsanitary Conditions and overpriced especially considering this particular motel 6 sits right on one of the busiest streets in LA next to the San Diego highway off ramp. Adding insult to injury the location is not convenient to grocery shopping or healthy foods. There is no common convection-microwave to heat up your own food. The front desk personnel advise guests to cross the busy 4lane street and use a microwave at the 7-eleven. I do not recommend this motel with its TSA-like security.

This is the worst motel 6 I ever came to room 148 had nasty carpet and bed spreads so they moved me to a different room and I get to room 112 and they have roaches and my hard wood floor was dirty I watch the maids half ass clean it I told the front desks they didn't want to give me my money back. I don't recommend any one to stay here you paid a outrageous price and there rooms aren't even upgraded.

This place is invested with bugs, roaches and bed bugs. I woke up itching and actually saw the bug that bit me. And they roaches were traveling on the walls in sets of families. I've stayed at other Motel 6 while traveling and have never experienced anything like this before. Horrible place, they need a fumigation tent over the entire building. This place does not deserve the one star I gave it but couldn't give it less than one star.

Not a very good motel, I stayed at the one at sepulveda in north Hollywood and the gentleman was just rude I would ask for room service and didn't get it internet was slow and some passed out on the elevator didn't even care till I told him grant you he has cameras of the whole building only plus was room service was great and the people were too need to improve.

Workers are attentive, they charge for Wi-Fi and elbarrio is not very good, the bed is comfortable at least! And they only have free coffee, no breakfast.

They kicked me out because my wife did not have her ID, which is ok because room was filthy and bedspread had cigarette burns in non smoking area. Staff was rude, electral in room was malfunctioning. Panorama motel on Sepulveda, just off of Roscoe was cheaper, nicer, and lots cleaner.
