This is the second time that come very happy from the hotel except the breakfast become very poor.

Plumbing issues that obviously occurred prior to our visit. Supposedly it’s leaking from our bathroom to the room below us. They have entered our room several times with multiple maintenance men, making noise, talking loud etc as our son tries to rest. I speak with the front desk and she doesn’t seem to understand the inconvenience. When people pay close to 300 for a room and parking for one night there’s EXPECTATIONS!

I was in town for a wedding and the Sunset Plaza was nearby. The parking structure was on the back side of the hotel, which you access by driving around the block. It was easy to get checked in, get the parking pass, and directions. Parking spaces are tight though and no gate to the structure, so take valuables inside. The building has a great feel from the early 1900s. Service was great. There's breakfast available, including fresh made waffles. It was very well cleaned and maintained from what I saw. Employees were even washing the walls of a hallway when I arrived. For easy access around Sunset Plaza, I highly recommend it.

This hotel was excellent and in a great location. The rooms were quiet, beds comfy, and the pool area is beautiful. The breakfast was also plentiful, with hot foods, cereals, and waffles and other standards to go along. The staff were very friendly and service was top notch. I will be staying here again on future trips to LA.

It's hard to find a hotel on the sunset strip (or anywhere in Los Angeles for that matter! ) that is worth the high price. However, I thought that this Best Western Plus was well worth the price tag and a great value for a busy Saturday evening amidst LA summer chaos. Our room was surprisingly quiet, being in such a busy part of town. And the airconditioner was AMAZING! It was so hot outside, I was thankful that the AC unit in our room worked and WORKED WELL. Additionally, I thought the amenities were great. There was a Tesla charger for us to charge up overnight and Breakfast was good. And even though we did not get a chance to use the pool, I peaked into the courtyard and noted that it was beautiful! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location right on Sunset strip. Beautiful, well maintained property. Gorgeous pool and patio. Quality breakfast included with room rate. Reasonable parking fee. Represents a very good value for properties in the neighborhood.

We had a great experience here. We stayed 7 nights for leisure. We had a party of 4 and the first night upon arrival were given a room with 2 double beds, which we were fine with. When we checked in the clerk said they hotel was full but to check back with him the next morning to see if they could upgrade our room. We checked back the next morning at 10:30 and were upgraded to a much bigger room with 2 king beds. Both rooms were clean, spacious and very nice especially for the price. All of the staff was very nice as well. It was in a great location with many businesses within walking distance. We were very happy with our stay here and will definitely stay again if in the area.

My gram, brother and I just visited a few days ago and loved our stay. My gram could literally not stop raving about the breakfast (especially the waffles and toppings). We loved the ambiance of the hotel, it’s beautifully set up and we loved spending time at the pool in between touring around. West Hollywood was the perfect place to stay. We were in the middle of all of the destinations we wanted to hit (Santa Monica, The Grove/Farmers Market, the train station, etc). The staff were very kind and accommodating. I would love to visit again and stay in this beautiful hotel.

This hotel saved our vacation! The service here was friendly and accommodating. The room amenities included a refrigerator and a microwave which helped us save money by being able to take left overs back to the room. The breakfast was nice and they had it on two floors so it allowed for no lines! I also liked the in and out priveldges we had in two choices of parking garages as well as there was enough spaces to park even returning late on the weekend. Thank you Best Western plus La la Land!

My wife and I came to stay here on our honeymoon for two nights at the end of a trip down the California coast. At 10am the day we were supposed to check in, she asked me to see if the hotel did anything special for 'honeymooners'. At the drop of a hat, they put together a STUNNING complementary gift basket AND upgraded our room to a view by the pool. The staff was incredible, the pool was beautiful, and the location is perfect. Also, as fitness enthusiasts, I was pleasantly surprised to see them offer 'egg white and veggie patties' as an option for their breakfast, AND have a well equipped fitness center. We couldn't have been happier with the BW Sunset Plaza as our choice hotel!

Can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed my stay here. Pool is heated, the people that work there are so warm and welcoming, the free breakfast can't be beat, (more than just a muffin; there were eggs, sausage, pastries, bagels and cream cheese, a cereal bar, a waffle bar, a pancake machine, lots of drinks). Room was clean, comfortable and came with a fridge, microwave, kitchenette, with a view looking over the pool, a desk and little breakfast nook. Parking is $18/night, which I was surprised with at check in, since the website I booked through said it was free. Worth it, considering the garage was enclosed and a security officer was there the whole time. Great place to stay!

When we first arrived to the hotel, we were promptly greeted and were told that they only had a few rooms but we could go look at them to decide which we preferred. Once we chose we stayed in and ordered food from Uber eats as it was a surprisingly rainy night. The next morning after getting breakfast, on our way out we were told we would be getting an upgrade to a suite. That suite was so nice. The room was massive and the views were incredible. Next time we are in LA we would stay in a suite there the whole time. We brought out breakfast back to the room and enjoyed it from the balcony. This is far better than any best western I’ve stayed in. Thank you to the front desk team for being so accommodating!

Amazing location. Clean, well appointed rooms. We were lucky to have one facing the pool. Beautiful view from our window, very European design. Free breakfast had lots of options. Wished we could stay longer.

Large room. Fitness room adequate. The pool is great. The view over downtown peak. The reception will help with excursions and transports.

Room was well maintained. Clean, nice decor, very roomy (even has a balcony). Microwave and refrigerator was nice to have. Attention to detail is appreciated. From the cleanliness to the amenities to the food to the clean cover on the TV remote control. Everything needed was available. Staff was great too. Tesla and EV charging availability was crucial. Top notch hotel! Keep up the good work. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent!

This hotel is in a great location. The Walk of Fame is a walkable distance. It is in a great area for running. You can run up the hills for a workout, or you can just run down Sunset for a flatter run. Beverly Hills is in walking/running distance. It’s also across the street from the world famous Comedy Store. Clean rooms. Nice pool area. Nice little view at the end of the hallways. Breakfast is included. One disappointment was the gym (no free weights) but an all around machine that somewhat makes up for it. Overall it’s a great choice!

We loved the hotel. Our room looked exactly like the pic. The whole hotel was really beautiful and in such a good location. All of the hotel employees were extremely attentive and helpful. Our room had a minor plumbing problem and they repaired it quickly and completely. The free breakfast was great and had a lot of variety. If we go back to LA we will stay at this hotel and exact room again.

We have stayed in this hotel on three occasions over the past three years whilst visiting from Australia. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to major roads and has a secure undercover self-parking garage. It provides an excellent breakfast buffet dining room, and is surrounded by a wide range of restaurants, cafes and bars. The pool deck area our rooms have overlooked is very pleasant, and guest laundry easy to access. Most importantly, during all three visits we have found the hotel staff to be exceptionally helpful and responsive to our needs and requests.

Absolutely loved staying here. We loved it so much we returned at the end of our trip for a few days of R&R before flying home. Beautiful, relaxing and in the perfect location. Staff were very helpful. Priced very well for what you get and great for families. Can't wait to stay here again in the future.

VERY clean. Beautiful interior. The pool/courtyard area is absolutely gorgeous. Full breakfast is high quality (a huge plus). Double queen room has a kitchenette with a fridge, two-burner stove and dining table. Free Wi-Fi is pretty decent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This will be my go-to hotel when in the area.

This hotel has a very good location! You also have 2 floors were you can eat breakfast. You have a large variety of food, cornflakes, juices, pains aux chocolats, hot chocolates And more stuff. The hotel also has a big pool which is not grated. From the pool you can see Los Angeles (you can also see a lot of smog). The pool has towels. The rooms are big with a bathtub. You also have a fitness room.

Great location in West Hollywood. Tastefully done renovation. I was surprised at the quality of the hotel called a Best Western. Staff was friendly and room was spotless. Nice to have a refrigerator and microwave. I was traveling by myself and felt very safe.

Hotel was so much better than expected. Loved our room, which was large and clean. Loved parking our own car (daily charge to park in the garage but it was worth it). The breakfast exceeded our expectations. The pool area looked so inviting — — unfortunately we did not have time to enjoy the pool. I will definitely stay here again.

I went on vacation to Los Angeles Hollywood and it is very good the hotel above all that has free Wi-Fi.

Small clean hotel on sunset strip. Had to change rooms from floor 1 to 3 as the floorboards above were thin & could hear every movement. Breakfast was OK shame about the nasty plastic knives and forks & paper plates. Staff were pleasant & pool area was pretty. Vending machines were an added bonus.

Nice hotel and nice rooms. Breakfast included which was a plus. Same food items everyday though, was hoping for a change every day. It's close enough to the Grove mall, but far from downtown LA. There is a good comedy club close by within minutes walking distance. Will need a car or Uber if you want to get around LA. It's not close to much stuff within walking distance.

The pool is great, not alot of people running around and very pretty. The room is clean, nice, very quiet (I couldn't hear anything above or around me) and inexpensive. I called all over LA on a Saturday and they had the lowest price and I was pleasantly surprised how great and easy it was.

We had a terrible stay here. After a terrible nights sleep from an extremely loud air conditioning system we asked to move rooms. The front desk were not approachable for simple questions being very short. We had a 7 year old and a 10 year old who were not welcome to swim in the pool without obvious discomfort from other guests and then had 2 complaints from reception within 10 minutes about the noise of the children who were lying on the bed watching t. V at the time. The room was not serviced during a four night stay. I would not recommend this hotel.

Friendly helpful staff, hotel was clean and comfortable, reasonable choice at breakfast, nice pool and courtyard, easy self parking and a lot cheaper than surrounding areas (I cant believe how expensive parking is in LA! ). The hotel was clean. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast was hot and good with a variety of choices. The check in was easy and the staff were happy to accommodate us with an early check-in and late checkout. The pool was clean and beautiful. Parking was convenient and easy to access. I felt safe in the hotel and in the parking garage. It was a great stay.

Great people that work there. They are extremely helpful and kind to you. You can speak with them in both Spanish and English. The rooms are not extremely huge but comfortable to be in. They have a pool for you to enjoy and a huge TV in every room. The breakfast is not too much to offer, but everything on there is really nice.

After dramas at the hotel we had originally checked into we stumbled across this hotel. We have never been fans of Best Westerns but the ambience & service we received from the moment we walked into their lobby made us reassess our opinion. At EXTREMELY short notice we were found a room for 2 + 2 kids we just had to wait for it to be cleaned, not unreasonable. While this hotel isn't the newest on the strip it is clean, spacious, nicely appointed & full of character & charm. The operations manager, whose name now escapes me (Barbara/Brenda — sorry! ) not only made arrangements for us quickly & sympathetically but even gave us a room right next to the pool — perfect! — & a discounted rate including breakfast. Parking was half the cost of our original hotel, added bonus.
It is so close to everything you want when you're staying in Hollywood, yet sitting by the pool you almost feel like you could be somewhere in Italy. One of our favourite memories from here is being entertained by the squirrels that hop around the gardens. Lovely place.

Fabulous hotel with gorgeous decor. Beautiful courtyard with a wonderful pool & lovely bougainvillea around the French doors. Very comfortable beds, quiet clean rooms with charming decor. Fantastic breakfasts with lots of choices. Fantastic location with many restaurants within walking distance. This hotel in the heart of the city makes you feel like you are on a European vacation! I totally recommend this hotel and the cost is very reasonable, especially for all you are offered!

The room was clean and the breakfast is great. The accommodations for parking was nice since we had an oversized car for their garage. I recommend going to this hotel compared to the other ones around.

Nice hotel. Huge rooms. Easy parking although it's under the hotel in the back alley and can be difficult to find at first. Price wise, it's a bit more reasonable than some of the more swanky hotels in the area. Nice continental breakfast.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Very spacious rooms and comfy bedding. Priced right and centrally located to a lot of sightseeing areas. Staff were friendly and the morning breakfast got us going.

Sad little hotel that needs a remake badly. But if you like 70's style rooms, this is your place.

We had such a great time here last weekend. The staff was very professional and informative. We asked for recommendations for several items and they were very helpful. The guys that unloaded the luggage and the bell captain had nice uniforms on and were very helpful in creating a great experience. They had outlandish robes on our first visit, when we asked about them on the most recent visit the bellman told us that they had stopped using them and had given them all way to the staff. He was kind enough to look and had one more for us… they are really cool.

Very clean and spacious. Ask for a room that leads out to the pool. Staff was wonderful and breakfast had a very extensive selection.

The shower does not drain and flooded our room. We got a technician to fix it and he spent an hour and a half snaking out the drain. Then the next day it happened again. The technician did his best but to tell you the truth this hotel is old. The pipes need to be re-done in my opinion or at least they need to look at them. The hot water takes a long time to get hot and also the showers are in the european style. In other words there is no stall. The only thing that is good is the breakfast. At least they gave us a discount for the inconvience. Also you have to pay for parking and the parkade is tight, but that's LA. Forgot to mention that. I would not stay here again.

A little used, but it is perfect for trips to Hollywood very well located. The Breakfast room is too small, the Wait is announced.

After hundreds of hotel stays, this was by far the worse. The online pictures don't match the rooms. Our dresser was missing a drawer (this was a first for me). The chair and foot stool were badly stained — hopefully it was only water. The "Sofabed" did not exist. The free internet did not work. There was no remote for the television. The carpet needs to be replaced. And, after asking for a rollaway twice it was left at our door without any offer to assist with setting it up. As a positive note, the bathroom and linens were clean but not worth the $300+. Lastly, there is no parking out front so you need to enter the parking garage from a back street and ride the elevator up three floors to check-in but this is not clearing posted around the property — the hotel next door gave us this guidance.

This was one of the best hotels I have visited. The staff was really kind and helpful, and the hotel rooms were big and nice! It's a little pricey, but you really get what you pay for.

Pool area and breakfast were not that much of a disappointment but the room. Clearly that room should be out of service. The parking was also a hassle as it was around the block. Definitely not what I was expecting for a $ 250 room.

Amazing location and moderate prices with an outstanding location in the hills of Hollywood. I threw my brother's bachelor party here and we had the time of our lives.

My absolute favorite place in LA.

We arrived there tired from a 13hr flight, and as we walked into the room there was this awfull smell of very dirty carpets or something, but we were so tired that we just went to sleep. When we got up and used the toilet it got blocked and then started overflowing. We complained to reception and were treated as if we had done something wrong, but anyway we were moved to a different room, and that one was also very smelly. The breakfasts, well for the price you pay, they could at least used real crockery not plastic disposable dishes. We had booked for 3 nights but booked out after the first night. This is a very expensive hotel for VERY poor quality hospitality.

I stayed here for several nights in February of this year and was pleasantly surprised. Although the building is old, it is well maintaind, the rooms are very nicely decorated and the pool area is lovely. I recommend it to anyone visiting this part of Los Angeles who is looking for a very nice hotel at a reasonable rate.
