Just a great overall experience. If you need a place to stay, I would definitely recommend this place. Just off the Sunset Strip so it is really quiet. The environment is great and the staff goes above and beyond to help out.

Pure PERFECTION! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE every staff member did an AMAZING JOB! The staff went above and beyond catering to your needs. The bar was on point nice strong drinks. The cafe left me speechless with the LIQUID SUGAR and my fresh ice tea absolutely the BEST! A hidden gem nestled in West Hollywood! Walking distance to West Hollywood night life and shopping. Number one on my favorite places to stay in LA! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Nice rooms I was in the Superior King. But the Manger was at the front desk was with another customer talking, I stood behind her waiting to check in after 10minutes I decided to have a seat. Because look like was gonna be a while. After another 15-20mins of them laughing and shooting the breeze! I ask if there was some one else who could check us in! The lady step aside, he didn't apologize or ever acknowledge us standing there. Never said anything like "I'll be with you shortly" Being the Manger it was not a good look. The rest of the staff was very pleasant from the valet to the room service, But I won't be returning.

This hotel is very eccentric and has great decor. It’s easy to access and it’s close to Sunset, Burbank and LAX. Be careful and double check your final folio. I stayed for two nights and the housekeeping staff added $37.00 worth off mini bar charges to my room,, which were not mine so I had to dispute them and nothing was done to refund my money the first time. After calling back and speaking to another person the charge were finally reversed. It ‘s upsetting when you trust that a hotel is ethical and you feel like you have been scammed. This is why they get one star.

Would probably give this place a better rating but it was under construction the last two times we stayed. Otherwise cute boutique hotel in a great neighborhood location. The rooms that are remodeled are cool and funky and the rooftop pool is awesome. Will go back next time and review again, assyming the work will be done.

The hotel itself was nice to stay at however the customer service wasn’t very good. Going over the details of the room at checkout, there were quite a lot of little charges they sneak in. For example the bar charges a service fee (18% I think) and asks for tips. They gave us 2 free drink coupons that they didn’t let us use towards any of our bar purchases either.

Did a weekend away with my sister and loved this hotel! It’s in a quiet neighborhood but we were able to easily walk to nightlife and restaurants. Absolutely loved the fun design of the huge room and the friendly staff. My new favorite place to stay when I’m in LA!

Stylish boutique hotel conveniently located in West Hollywood! Every staff member we met starting with the front desk, to room service, to the bar on the rooftop always had a smile and offered great service! The rooms and bathrooms are giant (plus great lighting! ), so there’s plenty of space to share with friends. We’ll definitely be back for another weekend soon!

Our room was great — spacious, detailed design, and a perfect location. The rest of the hotel — not at all. There was a ton of construction, foul smells, and fire alarms going off. The valet staff was slow and the fees for parking outrageous. For a 5 night stay, we paid almost $400 extra just for “resort fees” (a daily fee for one cocktail per person for the entire stay) and parking. Staff wasn’t entirely friendly and groveled when we asked for forks from room service when our delivery didn’t arrive with any. While I’d probably stay here again, it would only be once renovations are finished and without a car.

Great place. Rooms are nice and with plenty of space to move around. It is also located in the perfect area if you are coming to Los Angeles for fun. Everything is within walking distance: famous gay and straight bars and clubs, all the new Trent stores were you might walk into a lot of young celebrities and but most important you can walk everywhere at any time of the day or night and feel safe.

The hotel is currently being remodeled, so I'm sure will only get better. But I love the room and the location and enjoyed the stay! Room is spacious and very comfortable — one of the most comfortable beds I've had at a hotel. The room was clean with good toiletries, nice towels and a fully stocked mini bar. Had a huge TV and sitting area with a fireplace and a nice little balcony which was a plus. The rooftop pool was also a nice bonus, although I didn't use it. But I did have a great drink at the bar! Can easily walk to bars and restaurants. I recommend staying here and will stay at again!

This hotel should not be accepting guests during this renovation. There is dust everywhere and even though you are not staying INSIDE the rooms they are renovating, you do have to walk through it to get to your room. The kitchenette (that you pay extra for with the suit) comes with no set ups (bowls, coffee cups, silverware etc. ). The stay my family had here was horrible. There was a dog barking incessantly in the room next door at 11pm, some burning smell woke both my mom and sister up at 4am — the entire experience was awful. I will never have my family stay here again — which sucks because I live 2 blocks away and it would have been otherwise extremely convenient. Fail.

Just got here and already really upset. I loved this hotel because of the rooftop pool. We even called before and the people said the pool would be done by the time we got there. Well, I am here and the pool is in the middle of renovation. Lying to customers like that is unacceptable. Also, there is no free overnight parking for paying customers and after paying for the room, you still have to pay for breakfast. It is not ok that paying customers still have to pay for overnight parking AND for breakfast. Breakfast should be free after such an expensive price for the room. I can only hope that my experience here gets better.

Super nice room. Worth every dollar. Close to the Whiskey where my band Vector Hold played at. Staff was friendly and courteous.

I recently needed somewhere to stay with my dog where I could also work during the day while in-unit construction and plumbing took place in my home. Before I moved to LA, I'd stayed at Le Montrose with family and on solo visits to LA, and always enjoyed my stay, so it was a natural choice for me. My room was beautiful, the staff was so friendly and helpful — everyone from front desk to valet to housekeeping and more — — and my dog also had a great time, greeted by staff, hotel guests, and neighborhood residents alike. The in-room amenities were perfect, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom and vanity area was wonderfully spacious and well-appointed, and the big-screen TV in the bedroom was amazing. Le Montrose will always be my go-to choice when I need a place to stay in LA!

Staying with work in LA and what a hotel to be staying in. The rooms are excellent size with a great separate living and sleeping are. My balcony faces onto the road but it's such a quiet road it's really nice to watch the city living go on. Hotel is currently being refurbished but they're seemingly doing a great job so far and had no disruption from the work going on.

No info on website about building works! Also $20 per day room charge for Wi-Fi, 2 bottles of water (16.9Foz) even if you your in a room for 3 persons! Poor quality room service and housekeeping that keeps knocking even when you have a 'privacy sign' on the door!

Some construction work was taking place but very friendly staff and really nice rooms more than make up for it. I'm sure a solid 5 stars after renovation complete.

Kept hearing footsteps above me and around me, dogs barking, and the parking was $42 per night?!?! Because I had no alternative, and the hotel knew it, they charged $42… Also, when I talked to the hotel, they told me that I would get a room with "a balcony that about six people can comfortably stand in. " I had no balcony whatsoever. Otherwise, the rooms were nice and the service was very good.

Horrific Service I had a prepaid (PREPAID! ) room booked well in advance of All Star weekend at this hotel. They pretended they couldn't find my name since they deleted me from the reservation system to resell my room for a huge premium, the front desk clerk nearly admitted it, asking what my rate was, and sharing the current rate. He was a nice enough fellow but allowed me to walk away into the night because he could and would not fix things. I wound up in less than stellar accommodations. I literally HATE this place.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff was great and helpful. The room was beautiful and the kitchenette was exactly what I needed while away from home.

I gave it 4 stars because the drinks are a little expensive. The food is very fancy and good. Valet parking and very nice place. Everyone their is really nice and service is really fast. A great place to stay at.

DO NOTbSTAY HERE… I checked out on Friday after a 2 night stay… barely spent any time in the hotel (we basically just slept in the room and was out all day). I come home to a $125 charge on my credit card. I immediately called the hotel and they said that a lot was missing from the mini bar. There was no chance I used anything from the bar. The person I spoke to told me that there was nothing he could do and hung up on me. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY HERE. Rooms are old and dirty (sheets had stains on). This hotel is disgusting and a scam.

My heartfelt thanks & gratitude to Ashley Chestang (senior sales manager) & all the cordial staff at Le Montrose Suite Hotel in West Hollywood CA for such a wonderful stay this past July for my son's wedding. Everyone was so very professional, accommodating & most importantly kind. Being from just an average city I think I was somewhat intimidated by being in the LA area let alone Beverly Hills. I was grateful for the reasonable pricing of the room & was expecting far less than what I walked into. What a perfectly lovely lovely room… the layout was amazing. Thanks to everyone at Le Montrose for being a part of what made my son's wedding so incredibly memorable.

Nice hotel. Clean and quiet. Not far away from Santa Monica boulevard and the beach. Nice price.

Service was top notch right from the get go — front desk checked us right in and had us go upstairs to the rooftop bar for a complimentary cocktail (they provide 1 complimentary drink per room — not occupant). The bartender at the rooftop pool bar was awesome and made us a delicious Aviary drink. Room was spacious and aesthetically pleasing. Cold complimentary water bottle in the fridge. Front desk suggested EP LP rooftop bar since we wanted to check out the surrounding neighborhood. Recommendation was awesome — we also wanted sushi and they helped make a reservation at Nobu. In the morning I was looking for a Starbucks — they did suggest that they serve espresso in house but I wanted a specific Starbucks drink and a bit of a morning walk. They mapped me the Starbucks that is approx 6-7 blocks (about 10 min) — beautiful walk. They then held out luggage for us that day so we could visit downtown LA before our flight. Great location, room, staff and the rooftop pool / bar with delicious drinks, outstanding views and cabanas made this one terrific stay.

Decent hotel and great location between Sunset and Santa Monica. Nice rooms however they look much better in pictures. If you brought a vehicle I wouldn't suggest staying here as mandatory valet parking is $40 a night! Staff was decent but always seemed rushed. Just remember you are mostly paying for the location not the hotel.

My room was GORGEOUS! The bed was comfortable and overall layout was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful! I really enjoyed my stay!

Really nice hotel. We had a wonderful experience, and the staff was great. Perfect location (only a 7 minute beautiful walk to coffee and breakfast). The rooftop pool is really just over the top… no pun intended. Highly recommend this place.

The location is close to a lot of Nightlife. It's next to some really good locations/spots in the sunset strip in we ho. I like the hotel for its decor. The room is big. Wouldn't really call it a suite. The service is nice and helpful. They have vallet parking overnight for $40 additional to hotel fee. Pool upstairs and lounging upstairs service is great. Food takes a while to wait for.

Expensive place, where you get asked to pay for everything you touch or use, eaven the Wi-Fi. Great view over LA on the rooftop pool.

I knew I had selected a good spot to stay when a local celebrity friend sang its praises. Truly enjoyed the staff. I had a FedEx arrive and was taken excellent care of.

The room was nice and clean. The carpet and wallpaper were a little crazy. The restaurant and pool were both dead on a Friday night. Not a big nightlife spot, I guess. The location was pretty ideal for West Hollywood. A quiet hotel for sure.

Always the best spot for me, no hustle and bussle, duck off from sunset but not far and easy to find, way eought room, a little pricey on some days and weekends but dope spot to chill.

This hotel is fabulous! Set in a quiet West Hollywood neighborhood, it's only a 10-minute walk to Sunset. The staff is delightful and very accommodating. I highly recommend Le Montrose, especially if you're a first time visitor. I will stay there again!

The rooms were clean and impressive. However, I was disappointed that mine did not have balcony access. The bathrooms were large and very modern and we loved the the soaps and shampoos. Because it was winter I didn't get a feel for the rooftop amenities but I can't wait to come back in the summer.

Truly amazing experience. Love their bar and restaurant downstairs. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. Not the best view from the room but it is easily compensated by nice room interior and amazing space feel bathroom.

A cozy little hotel tucked away in the residential part of West Hollywood. Although it is mere blocks away from all the clubs on Sunset and Santa Monica blvd, it is quiet and peaceful. Even up on the roof we couldn’t really hear any noise. Our room came with a full kitchen but they only provided a mini-fridge that was stock full. Besides that the room was spacious and clean. They only have valet parking for $40 and you can’t park on the streets after 7 pm so I suggest just pay for the valet. The staff were all very kind and helpful. We came early to see if we could check in early, but our room wasn’t available so they stored our bags and took them to our room when it was.

Place smelled like weed through out the floor, people looked weird and I checked out 5 mins after, dont recommend it at all.

My best experience that a part of trip in Los Angeles was living in here. Big room and contemporary decoration! Good location is pretty close to sunset blvd. If I'll go to Los Angeles next time, I'll definitely order here again.

This hotel is fantastic. Great location that is quite and in a residential neighborhood so it is very quiet. The room was large and very comfortable. What this hotel includes in their basic services and rooms is a terrific value. The price is much lower than the other hotels in the area that offer the same type of rooms and services. Victor at the front desk was so nice and helpful. He offered suggestions and places that I might like. He was FANTASTIC! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hotel in this area.

Really unwelcoming staff, slow front desk and valet, questionable structural integrity of the rooms and no fridge space unless you take the mini bar contents out.

I loved my experience at this hotel. Several staff members went above and beyond to help me enjoy my stay. Like a jerk, I came to use the internet without booking a room which is not allowed by hotel policy. The front desk expertly negotiated me to a settlement where I paid for an expensive lunch instead, which was a great solution for both me and the hotel. The restaurant was pristine and I spoke with the chef. Even the pool cleaning staff was happy and cheerful with each other when I wasn't even obviously around. I travel frequently, so I often find myself looking for Internet because I find myself at hotels with crappy internet and go out seeking hotels that have a better connection. I can always tell a great hotel from a crappy one based on how the staff handles my strange request to work there. The connection here is fast enough for me to do 4 straight hours of live video conference. Excellent! The roof pool is beautiful, has shade, and a 270 degree view of the surroundings. If in ever back in the area I'll definitely stay here. I'm sad that my daughter isn't here now to enjoy the pool :).
