The rooftop for swim and drinks is amazing, as well as the gorgeous outdoor restaurant. Staff is spectacular and the whole vibe is very Hollywood swanky. Great people watching as well!

Beautiful hotel, lovely experience. Stayed for Thanksgiving—felt very safe and taken care of during my stay despite the lockdowns and such. A dreamy place!

Everything. Except the lighting. Be a guy here who doesn’t wear makeup. Otherwise you can’t see to put on even lipstick. The hotel, the staff, the ambiance, the artwork, the food are superb.

Upstairs pool, butterfly and hummingbird garden are lovely. The food is wonderful!

Absolutely amazing experience, my favorite hotel by far. The rooms are great, plush carpets, quiet rooms, comfortable beds, excellent amenities. The concierge was fantastic, and the rooftop was a perfect escape.

It’s difficult to exaggerate a recommendation for the best hotel in the world. The energy is unlike no other, be prepared to fall in love and never stay anywhere else in Los Angeles.

The best trip I’ve had down the rabbit hole in years. Unique, eclectic, curious, magically odd. Well appointed w a inspiring food and drink. All of this w a staff that surpasses. I highly recommend the rooftop yoga.

Our experience at this hotel from a food and entertainment perspective was great — however, then you go to your room and try to sleep. I had better sleep during a 7.0 earthquake in the Philippines with nonstop tremors for the next 24 hours than I did Petit Ermitage. If you stay on the 3rd floor (of this only 3 floor hotel) you will have nonstop ruckus noise above you until roughly 3/330 am, and then — again around 745/8am when they begin moving furniture around for their b…reakfast shift. Between those other times = Forget it.
The staff is more worried about being buddies and high fiving their regulars that party on the roof than taking care of the guests who pay (all in w/ tax and fees) roughly $500 a night for an exec suite — only to be tortured with no slumber. If all you want to do is party and be a part of that group, this place is for you. However, if you’re one of the other 90% of society who wants to sleep when you pay these rates for a 4, 5 star hotel — DO NOT STAY HERE as you will leave far less refreshed than when you arrived.

The hospitality is great and the rooms are nice. The pool side and view is amazing. The food is awesome valet is not free.

Excellent Boutique Hotel — friendly, quaint with a touch of old school Hollywood. Location is tucked away in WEHO but it is in a great spot. Can’t really go wrong with this joint. I’ve stayed there enough times now to know it’s pretty solid and almost always delivers. Rooftop bar is cool and so is the pool (for guests or friends of guests only). Worth a visit — I’ll go back for sure.

Wow! This place is the most beautiful cute character Charming quaint Hotel / Lounge / event space. I would go there just to check out all the art on the walls and the decor. The pool top is amazing! The owner is ridiculously sweet and awesome and very intelligent as well as handsome. Very good people work at this place and it shows through everywhere you go from the ballet to the restaurant to the hotel.

Very nice place to stay. Quiet, clean and charming. Pool and restaurant were up stairs and very private. It feels like it takes you back from the past.

Truly an oasis. This was my second time staying at the PE, and somehow the staff and amenities outdid the first experience. I spent about 8 hours on the rooftop at the pool, and the staff automatically put my checked bags in my room while I was up there. The pool is luxurious and social, without ever becoming sloppy (which can happen in LA). All-in-all a top notch experience in the heart of West Hollywood. I can't wait to come back.

The name is perfect for this place. It is a little piece of a luxury paradise in the heart of LA. It is the best way to find nice and friendly people in a so large city where it is so hard to socialize. It is not possible to take pictures to avoid to disturb the privacy of clients and friends and this is so important.

Staff was amazing. Very helpful. Hotel was unique; had a really good vegetarian dish that actually filled me up! The private music show was phenomenal!

A lovely, atmospheric place with a gorgeous rooftop garden, complete with pool and bar. Lots of hipsters about, taking in the scene on a Thursday afternoon. Not sure how they make enough to inhabit this rather luxurious hotel. It's hard to imagine how one would ask this question.

Such a cute hotel! So many different interesting details and corners. Definitely upgrade your room. Also, Le Labo Santal products in every room! Bartenders get an A+, and they should because drinks were $20 each. Stayed here an entire weekend.

Met friends who were checking in at their Restaurant. The waiter was a nice and friendly person but was forgetful. The place was not busy at all. The food was poorly prepared. Tasteless pasta, extremely salty soup. The request toasted bread was terrible. Several items on the desert list were not available. My friends, who were staying for a night celebrating the 50th. Birthday of one of them had to wait until AFTER 4 pm to check in. The place probably attracts "Hollywood Scene" characters. Several individuals dressed like they were in a set, very trendy hairdo and clothes, front desk woman with a slit on her leather pants showing almost to the edge of her underwear panties. Topless pool… Do I need to say more? This place is for a very special crowd, not for simple and unpretentious everyday individuals. An absolute NoNo for children!

I have stayed at luxury hotels all over the world, in terms of service and hospitality, nothing comes anywhere close to the Beverly Hills Hotel. I would go back to LA just to stay there. I highly recommend the bungalow experience — grab a bottle of champagne, light the wood burning fireplace, put your feet up and stay in for the night. Thank you to all of the fantastic crew that make this hotel great!

A quirky, eclectic escape in the heart of Beverly hills. Start the day with yoga on the sun deck or lose yourself in the hummingbird garden for a mimosa brunch then spend an afternoon lounging by the pool with one of their signature drinks. Intimate shows nightly, sure to delight… with each space designed for maximum comfort and an air of sultry sophistication.

After staying here on multiple occasions I can’t say this is the same great hotel it once was. While the location and majority of the staff (Miles & Carlos are amazing! ) are still great it’s becoming run down and worn out to say the least. While we love temperpedic mattresses ours was worn out and sunk so low in the middle of the bed my husband and I couldn’t sleep, towels are no longer plush, and the furniture has lost its LA chic shabby coolness and now just feels shabby. Dont even think about taking an IG photo (with respect to guest privacy — this is LA after all) around the “laid back” rooftop. After being scolded by the overzealous rooftop manager and event taking over the private rooftop that hotel guest have access to we don’t want to go back up there or stay at the once LA cool Petit Ermitage! Yikes!

What a great hotel! Whimsical, tucked away and great customer care… lacking one star for some overpriced items, but hey, it's an awesome experience! Roof top bar has got it all going on! Views are 5 star, for sure! Walking distance to Viper Room and the Roxy… great location! Quaint and quite fabulous… rooms are so well thought out and the soap smells incredible! Comfy comfy beds too…

The hotel itself is lovely; quirky neo-rustic decor, good sized rooms (if maybe a little under-fenestrated. ) A great rooftop pool/lounge area, with large king-sized beds in place of tables/chairs, and an ultra-cozy fireplace. Unfortunately, the much of staff don't even seem to be trying to match the level of hotel they're working in. They're often unaware of (pretty basic) services the hotel purportedly offers, and provide them with the telegraphed affrontedness and displeasure of an adolescent. (There was one real gem among them… and of course she's about to take a job elsewhere)

I stayed here a year ago and after reading some of the reviews, I'm wondering how this place got such high marks. The rooftop is pretty amazing, which I'm assuming is the reason for the it's popularity. The rest of the place could do with a MAJOR overhaul. The rooms are old, dark and the carpet looks like it's 20 years old and very dirty. The bathrooms are old, the furniture is old as were all of the fixtures… and not in an antiquey old kind of way. Old as in used and worn out. This place looks like an old WeHo apartment building that was painted, made to look bohemian and called a Boutique Hotel so they can charge high prices. I'm all about fun and different designs at hotels, but you can't compromise on cleanliness… ever.

Despite the look of doubt I received by the front desk lady this visit was perfect. The room was absolutely beautiful, comfortable bed and albeit small but private outdoor patio. Great decor, privacy, and loaded bar, fridge, and platter of snacks. Plan to come back soon!

Absolutely loved everything about the hotel. How you greeted as soon as you drive up thank you Malcom. The smell as you step in the dimmed lights quaint decor. You have to appreciate your senses in order to have full experience at this hotel. Staff was fun and enjoyed working there so it showed. Front desk take care of you and make you feel welcomed. Rooms are great with your own living room with fireplace great bar and snacks as well. No m&ms here then the food OMG I had the salmon pita 3times during my stay fell in love with mezcal or their drinks excellent I went down the list of Love Potions choose your vice. The rooftop the fact it's open 24 hours was amazing I loved how I could walk on patio at 5am they had great music playing and warm blankets out just waiting on you. Just simple things like that were great. Their attention to detail was on point all the bartenders and staff the bar manager thank you to everyone at the hotel and the person who designed it. It was my oasis I never needed to leave even knowing I was down the streets of the hottest places in LA. For what I brought the party to me!

The staff were all very helpful and attentive, except for the rooftop restaurant one night when it seemed like they were understaffed. We had an amazing dinner though (rib eye for me and lamb for my gf). The hotel is very quaint and artsy. The rooftop pool would've been great had it not been so cold outside. Was wishing for a hot tub. Rooms were nice, with a sunken living room, a la the Venetian in Vegas. Great location close to lots of clubs/bars on Sunset Strip.

What it loses in smaller rooms, Petit Ermitage gains with an amazing rooftop with a lot of character and vibe. Everything from the music they play to the gigs they host, they set themselves miles apart from other options in WeHo. I'm definitely staying there next time I'm in LA.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. They didn't have running water the last night due to a planned renovation, but somehow failed to mention that until the night before there would be now water. Management handled the issue very unprofessionally.

I have stayed here about 30 + times. I love it, it is always great, the people are awesome. Breakfast is awesome! with hummingbirds all over the place. Ive hosted a few small get-togethers on the roof and the employees did an amazing job taking care of everyone. One review says you cannot walk to sunset blvd, that is incorrect it is about a 5 Minute walk MAX. It is a boutique hotel so if the 4 seasons is your style then go to the 4 seasons. One of my absolute favorite hotels in the USA.

Nice place, but they nickel and dime you. No coffee maker in room, so you have to buy breakfast. If you ask for nuts or pretzels at the bar, they charge you… and the drinks are very expensive to begin with! The rooms are very pleasant, but quite dark.

Fabulous hidden gem in West Hollywood. This is only place we stay while in Southern California… Stephan and his staff could not be more welcoming. A rarely magical and romantic experience not often found within a city such as LA.

Rooms are nice if you like the style, but dark. Rooftop restaurant and view is great. A good place for a drink or dinner even if not staying there. Validated parking from the bar and restaurant. Lovely rooftop, front desk and bell staff.

This was a great experience all the way around from the hotel and room to every employee that works there made sure we felt welcome. We will be back for sure as well as the rooftop view's are amazing.

The hotel is amazing, but I really came for the rooftop pool. It's small, but CHILDLESS. And that, my friends, was worth every penny of the $500 I spent here. The rooms are beautiful, and certainly set up with lovers in mind. Drinks at the pool are no pricier than anywhere else in the area, and very strong. I had no problems with check-in or check-out, and the staff happily took care of the few things I needed. I look forward to coming back here with my husband.

Extra high pet fees, never disclosed to me until checkout! When I checked out, was completely surprised by a $150 pet fee. Average is much less, and many hotels don't charge. It wasn't disclosed on their website, nor when I checked in. Only at checkout. Shady business. Will stay elsewhere.

I once worked with a Moroccan gentleman and he was most distasteful, boorish, and unpleasant. It’s a good thing I didn’t let this gentleman influence my choice in hotels. I recently stayed with the Moroccan inspired Petit Ermitage in West Hollywood and must say I was taken aback when I arrived – and pleased. The hotel, nestled in a residential neighborhood (the property was an apartment building in a former life) sneaks up on you and can easily be missed. The valet dressed in ivy and the entryway is flanked with gas burning lanterns, which made me feel very at home arriving at 2am; a flickering glowing beacon. My suite, if one might call this a suite, I suspect was larger than many residences in the busy surrounding neighborhood and provided all the comforts of home. A step down living room, fireplace, kitchen, well-appointed bath (who doesn’t like C. O. Bigelow? ), and large screens and technology throughout. The Moroccan theme and colors magenta, mustards and browns make one feel very at home. Moreover, I spent more than five hours at the rooftop private club, pool, and restaurant and bar and report they are all top notch and not a single complaint. If I were to identify any detractions I might mention the very, very small elevator and, albeit well appointed, the very small bath (even in my suite) ; not to mention Bellmen in Moroccan attire including headdress, yet wearing Nike athletic shoes – a mild oversight. Such small things will never get in the way of my next visit.

This place is AWESOME. Nice art work through out the hotel. Fantastic room with kitchenette and desk. On the roof their is a very nice restaurant with lots of outdoor seating + a pool with LOTs of seating around it. What a place to wind it down. Close to the action on Sunset and Santa Monica but located in quieter residential block (couple short blocks form Santa Monica). Street parking is non-existent so you MUST valet park for $30 per night. Very clean and professionally run — I would highly recommend it for traveling adults.
