Just checked in rooms are Fantastic and staff super friendly.

Flew in to LA for an event for one night. The Mondrian was recommended. I checked in late at 1:30 am and when I walked in the room the TV was on and there was no remote control and no other way to turn it off. I called the front desk and she said they'd send someone. I asked when this person would be here and they said they were busy and couldn't give a time. I said "okay, so I'm supposed to wait all night to sleep for when you get around to dropping off a remote control? Can you leave the front desk and drop one off or move me to another room? " The response was no, we're fully booked and busy. At 2:30 I wandered the hallways and found other people and borrowed their remote to turn off my TV since this hotel was obviously not going to send a remote and didn't care. The hotel showed up at 3 AM to drop off the remote control. When I asked for a refund for the room last night they said I was welcome to check out and find another hotel. Never again. Horrible service and horrible attitude for something that was not my fault. I'll be doing a charge back on my credit card. For being stuck in a room I couldn't sleep in.

Great rooms and pool clean.

This was my 1st time visiting LA California and the Mondrian Los Angeles hotel was a great experience! The staff is very accommodating and hotel is full with contemporary modern decore. The pool side Sky Bar includes multiple cabanas with a bright trendy color scheme. It also has large wide windows that border the skyline, offering an amazing roof top view of West Hollywood 's Sunset Blvd. This hotel's ambience is a great atmosphere for Instagram pictures, relaxing with friends/family or engaging in LA's night life.

I stayed here with a friend this weekend. The room was perfect. Malorie was friendly and helpful! I will return 😍😍

I absolutely love this hotel! It's too bad that the House of Blues shut down as well as a comedy club and so many different places that were so close to this hotel there are many excellent hotels in the area but the Mondrian is definitely the place where people go! The Sky Bar is unbelievable and it is so much fun. First of all you walk in and the decor is amazing all the wood in the front lobby and even in the elevators and everything is flamed maple. Everything is so well organized and decorated and just so welcoming and beautiful the rooms are more than amazing! A smaller sweet even had rain showers multiple heads! Generally every time I've stayed here I stay in a suite but there have been one or two times when I stayed in a regular room on tour and all the rooms are wonderful! But the Suites are really something to take in! I absolutely love how bright it is with all the light and just welcomes you to want to live there! The staff is so nice and accommodating and I can't say enough good things about this hotel I stay here as often as I can. This is definitely a romantic place as I always set it for my husband and I to have a great place to stay we would either stay at the Mondrian or Lowe's and personally I love them both and now the Mondrian is actually more affordable then even the Roosevelt!

I don't know about the hotel. Only the bar *swimming pool* but don't loose your time there if you don't have THE perfect plastic surgery Servers are … Sorry I just puked… LA. They won't serve you unless you look like fake. Very classy! You got one star rating but it is not wanted at all.

My wife and I spent the day and night there for our anniversary. We loved it. The pool was accessible, the waitress was prompt. We had dinner at the ivory and had a great time. The room was clean and big. We loved the fact we didn't have to leave the hotel site during our stay.

The rooms overlooking the pool are extremely loud as there is a club in the pool area. It you need to get to sleep before 2am, bring some ear plugs! Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Some of the best we have come across! The beds are comfortable and the area is awesome!

The lobby, pool area and restaurant are very vibrant and fun and fit the expectations for this hotel. Once you get off the elevator onto your floor, you feel like you've been transported to a different hotel. The hallways are barely lit and the decor is dated. There's also a faint smell of old and the sounds of mechanical something or other. It really feels like the start of a horror movie. I had high hopes for the room even after walking through the hallway. Unfortunately, those hopes were shattered pretty quickly. The rooms themselves feel like a cheap renovation of a 80s hotel room. Large floor to ceiling mirror wall, cheap 80s brown tile in the bathroom and off white curtains mixed with an overused white, wannabe expensive wallpaper and a too modern television stand monstrosity. On the plus side, the bed is comfortable. My room was facing the city away from the pool and it was very quiet. I heard many others complain that the pool parties went on until 2 am and the partying continued in rooms until 4 am. If you want a good night's sleep, this is definitely not the hotel to pick. I would have probably rated the hotel 2 stars if I had a pool view room strictly for that reason.

Amazing property in the heart of everything ❤️

Room was impeccable, modern and comfortable however the room wasn’t ready until 2 hours after check-in time. The staff doesn’t care about guest needs and the valet manager Emmanuel is extremely rude and condescending. Seems like there’s a disconnect between valet and the front desk because random guests can charge valet to any room without ensuring that their name is on a room. If you stay here make sure to check your “Folio” before you leave or you might get stuck paying fees/charges that aren’t supposed to be on the final bill.

Stopped in for drinks at the pool side bar and the atmosphere was awesome. The bartender was friendly and offered a wide variety of options. This is a great place to stop at if you're looking for a laid back atmosphere to have a good drink with good friends.

Really? A party every night and no other rooms available that are at least a bit more quiet? (this was the introduction when we checked in) I Can't sleep without my one headphones and have to put in my own music in order to get some sleep before my job. It's no problem for one night, but two in a row is absolutely not okay. I am talking about Wednesday and Thursday, not about the weekend… I am a musician and have no problem with loudness, but this is really too much.

Came here for an event — the staff were nice, but seemed extremely busy to be attentive to our party. We had to constantly flag a waiter down to refill our drinks. Food was surprisingly simple and felt overpriced for the quality. It also took about 45 minutes between ordering and actually getting the food, and when we did, one person's dish was missing. The view was ok and the atmosphere was too loud in the indoor area by the swimming pool. Overall, would not have an event here again.

I came here for an event it was pretty cool because I got to see Jordin Sparks perform live here. The hotel room was nice A little more than I expected to be honest I've never seen mirrors are TVs shaped the way they are here. The staff was very friendly the room gave a nice view of the Sunset Strip. You are close to everything here they have a bar they have a restaurant they have a swimming pool you can walk to just about anything if you want to be in the center of Hollywood on the Sunset Strip this is the place to stay. I did think the room was a little expensive but really for where we're at I guess it's not really that expensive and I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars for one reason in particular and that was it the bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked. If you've heard of the famous Skybar that's here I was pretty surprised I expected it to be on the roof but it's really kind of inside just upstairs and you have to be really special to get into there but it's it's pretty and it overlooks the pool. Even though the bed was uncomfortable I did ask one of the staff and they told me that they are literally remodeling five floors at a time so everything will be new including the beds by next year if I have to come back to Hollywood I will definitely give this place another shot.

I meant to write a review as well :) Very nice hotel. Loved the deco and the atmosphere, trendy and cosmopolitan. Rooms equipped with all you may need, super fast free Wi-Fi (although they only allow three devices per room), complimentary coffee and bottles of water. The restaurant serves beautiful food and the sky bar is worth a visit. I will be back for sure!

Just stayed a couple of nights over the weekend. Website pictures make it look nicer than it is. To me the rooms were old, dirty, our bed was very uncomfortable, sheets had holes and curtains were dirty and some had holes. I was excited for the pool view from our balcony but they don't mentioned that they have a huge tent covering the whole patio/pool area. I understand why though due to rain, but still they should post this information on their website, either way I wasn't pleased with our stay. However, the staff are nice and friendly and the wife and I did enjoy several drinks by the pool. Wish their Owners/Investors will invest more in this property.

I really like the service and my room.

I visited the hotel about a day ago to see a prospective client for work. The lobby is sheek, and The view from Sky bar is like no other. I've been to Sky Bar in the past. It's a great place to bring a girl on your first date, for date on any occasion and wonderful for tasty cocktails.

This is not by any chance a 4 star hotel. It’s old, dirty, loud and the shades are not black out like any normal hotel so 6 am you have the sun in your face. Rooms are big but with a very weird inconvenient layout. When we got there there was a huge long hair in the tub. The furniture was old and dirty. Worst part, the awful customer service. We booked it for 5 days and left after 1 night. Wouldn’t recommend it specially for the price. This is ok for a $90-$100 per night, not for almost $300. Terrible experience.

This hotel's billing department sucks. I stayed here for work and first, they charged both my personal card and my company, including a completely random $7200 charge to my company's card. After several phone calls where they'd transfer me around to different people and eventually hang up, I've still only received part of my refund. I had to get my company's operations department involved and she's been having the same issue, and has spent a great deal of time having to try to get this issue resolved.

Great spot for a weekend brunch. Wonderful natural light streams in through the glass walls and ceiling. Vast views of the valley compliment the open design which makes it feel like a breezy spring day even in the winter. Menu was nice, but amenities were outdated. The pot for my tea was rusty, and my milk carafe had a bit of dried food on the inside. The staff corrected both when I pointed them put, but it doesn't seem like either of those should happen in the first place. Might do better with new/different management with an eye for detail.

Horrible. Full of young drugged and alcolizados. Smell of marijuana. Very old Hotel. Not familiar.

One of the best hotel stay experiences I’ve had anywhere in the world. Service levels here are extremely high and super friendly without being patronising. Every meal was promptly served as ordered and the standard was surprisingly good. The hotel is cool and funky with great atmosphere. I can’t recommend highly enough. I had an awesome time here. I absolutely loved staying here. Great welcome, very high standard throughout. Bar is good for relaxed drinks and restaurant was great. Fantastic menu and service. Sky bar is good to hang out at if you want to up the energy but it’s not very high up. Not that you’ll care, order another drink and enjoy the view. Location is superb and the studio room definitely put a grin on my face.

Fantastic hotel located on sunset Blvd in Hollywood. Amazing views from the hotel rooms, modern decor and friendly staff made this place a joy to visit. The sky bar, while not on the roof, is a great location to for a party with it's bar, pool and amazing view. Overall we had an amazing time here for a social gathering and the hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Absolutely stunning in every way. Views are spectacular & the service is second to none. Pool is breathtaking and the decor is chic. Hands down one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Almost directly across the street from the world famous, historical Comdey Store on Sunset. The amenities are top notch. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the Mondrian last week and this was my first trip to LA. I travel quiet frequently and I absolutely loved this Hotel. It has timeless and edgy decor and an amazing bar/pool and restaurant. The location in West hollywood is perfect in addition to the fantastic service I received. All the employees provided excellent customer service and were all more than willing to help when I had any questions about recommendations for places to go. Michael, out in valet in particular was exceptional. Always greeted me with a smile and assisting with any bags I needed carrying. Once again thank you for an enjoyable stay. I will definitely be back soon.

Excellent hotel on Sunset Boulevard, very well located so much to go to Santa Monica, drinkly Hills and Hollywood. Impeccable service.

The rooms are spacious but noisy because of the parquet and a little dated.

Review is mostly for the Mondrian's Skybar Pool & Lounge. Go for a dip in the pool while you sip a well-crafted, pricey cocktail or sunbathe on a daybed and take in the beautiful views of LA, spanning from downtown to the beach. It's a posh scene, with bottle service all around, pretty people in swimsuits and shades, mingling and dancing to the beats of the live DJ. It's the perfect way to spend a hot summer day in sunny LA. I would recommend it to those who are visiting and want to get a feel of the West Hollywood lifestyle & scene. And if you're in the mood to splurge, get a room at the Mondrian for the night… you'll love the floor to ceiling windows and views from your room as well as the chic sexy decor.

Nice Hotel The rooms are very large with very large bed. The pool is friendly with the bar next door. Very friendly staff Too bad we are forced to pay $44 the valet to park every night.

Equivalent to the Miami Delano, the hotel attracts the trendy and golden youth of Los Angeles. LII is conveniently located next to Beverly Hills, Melrose Place and Hollywood.
The rooms are new and ultra spacious. The view of Los Angeles is breathtaking (11th floor). The décor is modern, sleek and vintage both on the Californian theme. The insulation is excellent because the music resonates everywhere: swimming pool, reception and lift.
The staff are at the smallest care, and very friendly.
Only downside: the pool. Difficult to access because it is constantly occupied by the pool party. To enter it you have to be either hotel customer or be outside and have an Abercrombie physique. Result the pool is constantly squatted by Barbie and Ken, who drunk only think of one thing. You might want to prioritize the hotel guests? And also to have a bit of calm by period.

Great stay, stylish room and trendy but small pool. Stayed here for five nights and had a great time. We were facing the hills and Sunset Blvd and the restaurant patio across Sunset. It was audible from inside the room. Didn't border us but might disturb others, especially if you'd try to go to bed early. We were on the 10th floor, so it would be a bit louder further down. It is a young crowd around this area. Same around the hotel pool. Very young and hip crowd and very crowded at peak times. Not the place for a quite relaxing time poolside, more a party kinda pool area. The hotel photos online are a little misleading about the size of the pool and deck around it. Really enjoyed our time there though.

Had an unexpected overnight stay in May 2017. Got a room easily at the Mondrian pretty easily. Everyone from the front staff to the support staff were wonderful. Each one always ended each time we spoke with "will there be any else I can do for you". We enjoyed our short stay and hopefully will take a longer one in the near future.

We went for a pool party at Sky Bar. The staff was very attentive. The pool area very clean. We enjoyed some well crafted cocktails and were even able to get a small table near the pool even though we were not hotel guests. Overall this was a great experience!

We had a great time at the pool party during the day & a fun night out around the Mondrian. Unfortunately the customer service was subpar & we did not receive the pull out bed or extra pillows & blankets that we requested because they ran out. Overall we enjoyed it, but would have liked to feel more welcomed & taken care of.

Aging room and ameliorable service.
The roof top is nice, ditto for the pool during the week. On weekends it turns into a club of teenagers in Heat — not at the top for people who stay on the spot.

I found this place to be very serene and relaxing. The city lights and views were to die for. Cute features that went with the past theme. Look forward to their remodel. Bed was perfect for me, soft, cozy with nice linens. Staff is pleasant without being overwhelming. Room service was on time with the correct warm meal. Would recommend to anyone except for those who refuse to enjoy life, to stay with Mondrian.

Would hv to say sadly one of the worst hotels I've stayed in for service. Staff were quite rude except a few select. Facilities very run down for price. Room service was super overpriced — coffee was $9 US per cup. To top off this was kept up by 20 partying kids in room next to us — when I called reception at 2am a security guard was sent up and he was " tipped off " by the guy in room and the people stayed to party … after another half an hour I called and complained again and security had to come back up and only half were cleared out. Will not recommend to anyone coming here as it was appallingly bad esp for the price. Happy to leave this place! Won't be returning ever again here. Good luck to the new owners I hope they change this place for the better.

Fantastic Location, inspired hotel design, a nice view… The air conditioner is unacceptable, really too noisy, and it is the same as we find at the Hudson in New York (so already present at other Morgans hotels. Also some small but unpleasant drawbacks have happened: The cleaning lady came to knock at 8.00 in the morning, also having never changed the soap tubes we found ourselves on the 2 day dry.

The hotel has a very weird feel about it. Seems the hotel is more worried about looks than function within the rooms themselves. Which I guess I can understand since it seems only model looking or annoying going drunk people stay here. The food is outrageously expensive and only subpar when it comes to taste. The service seems decent, the workers all seem pretty attentive and the gym was decent as well. Kept clean and had a good amount of options for machines and weights. Also the pool area is beautiful but also packed with model looking people. If you like that kind of thing, then this place is definitely for you!

Simply amazing. The staff is great, the rooms are clean and the food is terrific! I doesn't get any better, at any price… It's expensive, but totally worth it.

The Mondrian was amazing. We stayed for 7 days and 6 nights and barely had any problems. WeHo is so central to everything so day time activities were no problem. Everyone working there was extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms are big and full of natural light. The bathrooms are also very big. The beds are extremely comfortable and the views are amazing. The only negative thing I have to say is that we were put in a wheelchair accessible room therefore there was no door on the shower and water would leak all over the floor. But even with that we still adored our stay. Although we never got a chance to go in the pool (due to many other things to do in LA as well as the pool being a popular and busy place to hangout) we went down a lot to get drinks and meals and let me tell you it is more stunning than it looks in pictures if that is even possible. The only downside is that it is so popular that there are exclusive parties almost every night at the pool/sky bar. Great for people watching and celeb spotting but also can be kind of loud at night. The Mondrian being located on Sunset was great as there were many cute shops and places to eat within walking distance. Mondrian is also very close to Beverly Hills which is also a plus. Cannot say enough wonderful things about the Mondrian. Cannot wait to go back soon!

Hotel presents itself to the outside and overly trendy and luxurious, the weekend that drives around is there when the parties would-be high society! The impression basically from the hotel we liked really well, the balcony on the 7th floor had a great view! However I expect 5 l plastic cup from a hotel in this price category of free Wi-Fi in the room — not for a fee, and when I order ice with glasses in the room for Champagne and co, no 0! There a lot of glamour will be lost.

If you're trying to find a really great deal on this amazing hotel I'd highly suggest booking it through the website HotelRaven. Com They have great deals for it on there! Such a perfect place don't have enough great things to say really! It was Easter Brunch, so the Ivory was understandably busy. Service was a little sluggish, but I chalk that up to the Brunch Rush. We didn't mind, since we had no place to be. The ambience was fun and vibrant. The view is stunning. Food was good. The menu had moments of brilliance, but it's hard to have a memorable and unique brunch menu. Bottomless mimosas were enormous. If you had 3 glasses you probably had a whole bottle of champagne to yourself.

We stayed at the Mondrian for 7 nights in April, the overall stay was just ok, the room was never cleaned properly infact we made numerous calls to have the rubbish from our room removed. Upon checkout we discovered that we were charged 80 USD for valet parking, we disputed the cost as we did not use Valet at the hotel, the receptionist removed the amount from the bill. Upon returning to Australia we were charged as a separate transaction for the amount of 80 USD. We have emailed the hotel directly regarding the fraudulent transaction yet no response. We travel to L. A often and have not experienced such poor service before from a hotel of this standard.

This is an overpriced and overcrowded hotel with very mediocere food served at the restaurants. The restaurant took more than two hours to serve our food the last time we were there.

THEFT! Be aware. The safe was broken and Cash taken after just 24hrs. Of stay. Security said it is investigating but why did they not know who they were hiring! Staff tries but still immature & not quite professional yet. Some of them are not trained properly, it seems. Furnishings are outdated & looks dingy. Water leaked in the room… Do not stay here. It is not a 4 star hotel at all!

I have stayed at the mondrian a number of times. The staff and the hotel were great, but I think it could do with a refit, especially given the price point and other local competition.

Nice rooms, good service. Wish they had more seating by the pool or sections reserved for hotel guests. Tons of non-guests come here for the scene.

The service is really good. The rooms are in great condition. I really enjoy it. I had a lot of fun in the pool as well as the halloween party. Great location with a lot of activities around the area. I strongly recommend it.

I stayed there with wife & 20-year old twin daughters over their 2015 spring break. We loved this hotel. The two rooms were not cheap but we thought well worth it after the front desk upgraded us for both rooms. We didn't know it was considered so 'upscale' until we went to Conan's show and revealed our stay during audience interaction. We loved the location and staff. Highly recommend. Right by Hard Rock Cafe. Plan on returning in 2016.

Good location. Food wasn't great. But the views from the restaurant and the pool are wonderful. Overall — nice hotel. What's important in the hotel is customer service. When there was an opportunity for the management to showcase their customer service, they failed miserably. "there is nothing I can do" is not an answer that a manager should be using with customers. There are very many creative ways to solve the problem. If one wants to solve it. When I hear them saying "nothing I can do" — it means "nothing I want to do to help you here" — which is too bad and which is not an indication of high quality.

Won a trip to go to the VMAs and they booked me in this hotel… Absolutely hated it. I'm from NJ and the people were completely different. Plastic surgery and barbie like girls running everywhere. The hotel had WAY too much air freshener. I could taste it as soon as I walked in. Took an hour and a half to get our luggage after we called for it. Parking is ridiculous, you have to tip every single time you get your car too. I ended up tipping the valet guy 3 times in one day. Water pressure in the shower was horrible and there was hair in the bed. OH! and i'm 24 and wasn't allowed in the pool area unless I had my license. NOT EVEN TO TAKE A PICTURE! If you were under 21 you weren't allowed in the pool area at all. Absolutely ridiculous hotel, I would NEVER stay there again.
