I checked in early and they accommodated me discounted me amd very friendly in a customer service way. I called the front desk because I needed the housekeeper to come assist woth the fridge and she came and cleaned it without hesitation. The front desk was very nice and helpful with things to do in buena park.

This place was a mess. My door lock did not work so I had to call the manager anytime I wanted in my room. The room smelled like a dirty bar because someone was smoking in it. The one bed had dried blood on it. I know they say you get what you pay for but this was a horrible place to stay.

From past experience and the look from the outside doesn't do any justice to what it's like inside the rooms… They Upgraded the rooms and they are much much better. Good Job!

My friends and I (3 guests) stayed 2 nights in a standard room with 2 Queen beds. Great service from the staff (Front desk, Housekeeping) they did great job making us feel welcomed and comfortable. The front desk is open 24 hours, It’s a nice area as it’s close to major California freeways and restaurants, very easy to find. The room itself is pretty standard. Everything was clean and well organized. The beds were very comfy! Only problem was there was no Microwave or refrigerator in our room even though it was advertised on booking site. And didn’t get any information how to access/connect to the Room Wi-Fi. Overall Great experience despite all the bad reviews Don’t believe everything you read online. Definitely staying here next time When I’m back in town. 5 Stars.

Prepaid for 2 nights. Ended up staying for 1 night but still charged me for 2 nights even though they stated they would credit me back for 1 night. Disputed with my credit card but the hotel fought it and showed them that I agreed to 2 nights. They are liars and would never stay there again. Do yourself a favor, do not stay here!

Ok this place was not even what it is like picture is fake at night the hotel becomes very scary with people walking around *no very nice people* and homless people walking around it's $50 for parking PER NIGHT! There's mattresses out side no lie and bed bugs I didn't get bitted but someone did get bitted in the morning no breakfast bc people got to it too fast and very crowded.

Not a good place to stay watched the PD taid this place and make several arrests. I am just being honest not a family oriented place at all.

Small hotel. Tiny pool. Small rooms. Loud ac. Semi comfy bed. Inexpensive though.

The rooms are neat, and the amenities were just perfect for our stop over. I had a good night sleep, here, and I was able to warm up my food and watch my own movies by connecting an HDMI cable to the screen from my laptop. Good Job.

The hotel is closed for repair reasons so I don't have a clue what this place is like or when they will reopen. Based on the reviews I looked at, they have terrible ratings. The reason for me giving a one star rating is because nobody at the hotel informed me that the hotel was closed since February 20th and I ended up staying at another hotel and I booked a room for Portola during early February. I don't have a problem if a hotel had to temporarily close down for repair reasons because stuff does happen. But, what got me mad was when I called them to confirm my reservation, the employee tells me they were closed and it was up to benefit hub to notify me about the hotel's closing? Not cool and not professional. No apologies at all from them. Maybe they should close permanently?

The county dumped a bunch of transient drug abusers here. Its now one big dope using family. Thank you Danny and Kasturi Singh.

Ok place. Good size room but breakfast sucks. Coffee, juice and oatmeal is all your getting.

The walls in all three rooms we were offered were filthy, bedding was stained and had hair on it, windows had no locks, carpet was old and needed to be stretched, bed smelled of urine, and never once did I get wash rags and or hand towels. Tub had no stopper, towel rack was not attached to the wall so, shower curtain kept falling down and was soiled never again. The star would be due to quick check in and nice water pressure. Smell if marijuana filled the hall and rooms. I was very unfortunate that I was even charged, ruined our vacation experience.

For the price it was alright. The walls were poorly painted, the carpet was coming up, the shower's tub was peeling, there was a hole in the wall, chips on the paint… Plus the floor wasn't cleaned. We weren't even sure the SHEETS were clean. BUT! The staff was really nice. So that's a plus!

This place makes the saying DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. So true the pictures of the hotel look so freaking nice but when you get there, it's a shocker but the best surprise is what waits for you in the rooms. The beds make a lot of noise some sound as if the bed is about to break, then the coffee makers are missing the pots, no towel are in the bathrooms, mold on the bathroom walls. Yuck.

Didn't feel safe, the window didn't have a lock on it. The window pane didnt fit inside the frame. Had to replace room key 3 times, the door card reader didn't work. SMOKERS smoke was coming in thought space in window also A. C. Vent. Triggered health issues for us both. This was after moving from the 1st room, which didn't have A. C.

Very noisy, not safe, not clean, only one face tile of each size I requested for more face tile they claim that don’t have any. It 9am in the morning and they are Deliberately using a loud blower by the windows and doors disturbing your piece of mind and sleep. The walls are paper thin you can hear neighbors. Good: microwave, refrigerator, clear flat screen Tv and hot water, just bad management. Not recommended! Will not be returning!

First off I will never stay there again, place was very noisy. Not only noise from the traffic but the people that were staying there had no respect for their fellow overnighters. There was drinking in the parking lot, pounding on doors, loud talking in the hall ways. One drunk was trying to enter our room with someones card key. Didn't fall asleep until after 2 AM. The king bed was comfortable, sheets probably could be upgraded. Carpet was full of ripples, need to be stretched. Wood shims under the TV cabinet to keep it stable. The bath tub had dark stains on the bottom, looks like management tried painting the bottom but the paint was peeling revealing the ugly stain. There were only two towels. Continental breakfast was a complete joke, what an embarrassment to the management. Overall it was the worst night I have ever experienced in a hotel. Go someplace else. You will be glad you did.

Great value price for a decent and clean room. Deposit is only $50 in cash which is better than the usual $100 at most hotels. Room wad surprisingly clean and check-out was just as fast as check-in.

It's clean and has a pool. It has all the services and amenities.

The lobby was nice and the staff friendly and the location was good. We got 2 rooms and in both the carpet felt very greasy, we avoided stepping on it barefoot. No towels in our rooms so had to get some from the lobby. My mom had to ask for a trash basket for her room b/c there was none. The breakfast was disappointing only serving danish buns, instant oatmeal, coffee and juice. Would not stay again.

Staff damaged our vehicle. Keys were down for three days and staff had to open our door. We came in. At 1 am and no one was answering us for 5 mins. My boyfriend shook the door and a employee came out half awake yelling why we shook he door giving us nasty looks he then walked out to open our door and ignored our questions in when they would be fixed walked away giving us disgusted looks. My boyfriend did get angry and started yelling; who wouldn’t. Employee then called the room and said we had to check out tomorrow, my boyfriend asked for A manager and he said “you’re not speaking to a manager only the f***ing police” the next day I called for the manager and was told he would be in at 10. Went to eat breakfast and our tires capes on the fork were missing with the air out, spit was on our window and scratches on the back. They refused to show us cameras and called the police. The police took our side and agreed they took out air out and say the other damaged and called a free tow for us and them to sign a paper about a refund. The still refused to shout us cameras. Police can they it since it is the hotels property. The manager threatened to fight my boyfriend for getting mad his employee destroyed our vehicle. Police want us to take legal action as well.

Walked in first thing I saw was a cockroach. Very disgusting. Walked right out. Then I asked for a different room. Cashier was very unapologetic. I assume it must be a normal thing there. Next room I got smelled strongly of marijuana. I would have went to a new hotel but I had somewhere I needed to be and didn't have the time. Bed was miserable. Stains ALL over the room. I woke up with a bug bite on my arm. I will never stay somewhere like this again. This place is more suitable for drug addicts.

No handicap ramp to for first floor rooms. Bath tub slippery when wet. No handicap rails in bath tub.

This is by far the worse hotel I've ever stayed at. There are bugs everywhere, the bed is ripped down the side, the walls have brown spots and holes. The maid service is almost non-existent. The hot tub is ice cold and doesn't work. The carpets in the room are all stained up. The free breakfast is a joke. There isn't even close to enough parking for all of the guests. All of the electrical outlets in the room are so worn out the plugs fall out of them.

Nice so far. We just checked in and the front office staff was extremely nice. The hotel is clean and under renovation.

Staff isn't very friendly & are discriminate against people who pay cash. Shady charges for taxes they can't explain. Careful with credit cards and your internet devices. Wi-Fi ALWAYS has issues & soon after so will your device. Be warned.

The carpets wreaked of vomit and were filthy, someone's tires got slashed, the towels were not white but tan or gray from not being washed right, we feared bed bugs cause we kept getting bit by something but did not see them, and our shower leaked all the water out. Only good thing was the Wi-Fi and the t. V…

Stayed here for a long weekend & was satisfied. The room was decent for the price, the location is very convenient & the staff is very helpful & friendly.

This is an absolute horrible place to stay. I would give this place a NEGATIVE 5 stars. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, UNSAFE, THIEVES! I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and I did like it because the price was good and the rooms were decent, but last year and this year they canceled my reservations. This year I had 3 reservations and they actually ran my credit card early in the morning for a check in at 3 then they turn around and cancel my reservations except for 1. They were very unprofessional and did not even apologize or try to make things better. I stayed because they would not refund me my money for the first room. After the first night of staying I put a door tag asking for them to clean my room and we get back to our room still dirty with no toilet paper and no towels. The rest of the time we were there we had to ask for towels every night bc they were never restocked. One day my husband left his wedding ring on the dresser as we were going to a water park and we return and the ring was gone. I told the front desk and they didn't care once again never apologized I had to tell her so are you going to call me if the ring comes up and she says oh yeah what's your number. To top it all off the last night we stayed there my kids went to ask for towels and they were approached by a crackhead. A lady came up and asked my youngest son if he had cocaine.

Clean on the outside, nice parking lot. Carrier in room should be replaced, furniture also needs to be replaced in. Rooms do have microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Bathroom and sink area very outdated. Bed is very comfortable and air conditioner works good.

Location was central, but there was no way to enter the parking lot making a left turn off the main road. Rooms were spacious. Fairly clean. Parking lot was packed. Staff was friendly. Computers were down for a bit backing up, but assuming that isn't a common thing. I've available only on the second floor.

This place is an unsafe environment for children, we saw a domestic fight 3 times and even a person died in the parking lot in our stay. The hotel manager was mean and called the cops on us whenever we stayed and accused us of harassment when we were just trying to explain that our reservation was accidentally cancelled. We were just trying to have a good vacation and go to Disneyland and the beach but honestly the hotel ruined our happiness on the trip. I wouldn't recommend staying here because it was just overall bad service.

This place is disgusting we first came in and the room smelled like nasty socks the sheets were dirty we asked for different sheets and 7hours later they bring us some later that night we are sleeping and later that night we were awakening by bed bugs biting us the so called manager kash said he would refund our money but has yet to so so it's been almost 4weeks and the guy at the beak said we don't know why there would be bed bugs but my mom went on bedbugs report. Com and they had 2 prior reports of bedbugs in the same room and have done nothing about this I stayed there with my mom 7month old baby 8year old son and they have not gave me and dime oh and before we found the bugs I gave them the deposit in cash and then a few hours later they charged my card and when I went down there they said it did it automatically but it didn't charge my brothers card that was staying there also so they were just being shady I wouldn't have known if my phone didn't tell me everytime it's used so know I'm going to seek a lawyer because the so called manager /owner kash is no longer taking my calls.

Horrible hotel! Filthy rooms! Stayed 3 nights carpet was never vacuumed & sheets never changed. At one point we came back to the room at almost 7, pm and houskeeping was just getting to our room! She didnt clean the room at all other than making the beds and getting the dirty towels. We had to ask for clean towels and washcloths. Towels were dirty & stained and housekeeping never gave enough. There was mold on the bathroom walls! Someone tagged the wall and behind the bathroom door! There was a feeble attempt to paint over it but if as still very visible! The contential breakfast they advertise was a complete joke! It consisted of packaged rolls & bananas. No milk for cereal no toast or muffins. It was pathetic! I will never ever stay at this hotel again & the only reason it is getting 1 star is the front desk staff was pleasant.

I booked room for my wife and kids gave hotel all the correct info and they punched in wrong exp date, and my booking gets cancel and the guy try to tell me it was my problem. And my bank told me they punched in wrong exp date. The guy I talked to on phone that day was rude and said call back and talk to manager. Becareful there dumb workers and don't care…

My first impressions: lobby looks good,   pool and hot tub looks good,   lots of parking, the outside is well painted.   The elevator is sketchy. I couldn't find the ice machine. I looked where any normal person would look for but an ice machine but, no luck. The key cards are different than other hotels/motels. Upon entering the room,   the room smells humid, which is not a surprise. I've smelled that at other places. The room looks nice.   There are stains on the sheets and towels,   no ice bucket. The AC worked.   The place is bigger than average for the price. Overall, first impressions are good The ice machine is kinda hidden. It's one ice machine on the second floor next to the elevator. I smelled weed at least 3 times the night we were there. The carpet looks dark and dirty. The flat screen was nice and has good channels. We didn't have an ice bucket so I filled up my cooler lol Checkout was fast. The same guy was there all night. He looked tired as hell in the morning. We didn't go in the pool or hot tub. The pool area is right across from the office in the parking lot area. The shower head is really low. It's mounted like at 5 feet so all you tall people beware lol Overall we had a good stay for the price.

I just got in my room and it had a horrible smell then the fridge had old food in it. But worst the bathtub was green and gross. Towels weren't cleaned and lazy mean staff pls don't stay at this dump!

Didnt clean the bathrrom properly. Had to get cleaning supplies and clean it. Was scared the bes sheets werent changed. Shitty breakfast bar.

The room and bathroom were comfortable neat, clean. All recently up graded. The staff went the extra mile. Continental breakfast was good enough to sit and eat or grab and go! Off the beaten path enough to get away from the traffic but still close enough for easy access to the major attractions in Anaheim and Buena Park. Highly recommend for a nice, simple, clean, inexpensive place to stay!

BEWARE! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE PLACE! Don't throw your money away. I booked through Priceline and arrived fairly late 2:30am due to driving straight from San Francisco with my 4 sons. The room was filthy! Beds not made, dirty wet towels on floor, food crumbs everywhere, trash everywhere, hair in bathroom. When I informed front desk, he was indifferent, could care less. I asked for another room (clean) but they were completely booked. He said, "ohh its not clean? really? well I guess I can clean it, but I really don't want to, do you really want me to? " I asked for a refund immediately and left. Well guess what? They charged me anyway and I have yet to receive a refund. They charged me for 2 nights of which I never stayed. I am still trying to get my money back. Everytime I call the manager is out or busy. Shocker… Also It took 2 hours to find another hotel in the area because every place was booked. The room smelled and furnishings were NOTHING like the pictures on the hotel site. Pictures extremely deceiving. Room furnishings were extremely Old and musty. Nasty dirty carpet. Don't stay there. Shameful place. Beware… you have been warned.

We stayed at the Portola Inn for two nights while on a trip to Disneyland and California Adventure Park. We were only there for a few hours each night and the beds were adequate but not great. My biggest problem was the bathroom. The tub was very old and the bathroom itself was dirty. We had to clean it just to use it. The best parts of the hotel were the separate vanity area which was quite spacious, and the pool and hot tub were fine. The value was good, so it's possible we would stay there again, but I would hope that it would be cleaner next time.

Was there four nights and the first night was the only day I got clean sheets then my key Cards stopped working. Will not go back again.

The hotel was okay, at least better than motel 6 for sure (both the same price)! I'm really late on this review because this will be based on the stay I had last year. So basically, me and my family planned to go to Disneyland, so this hotel was really convenient for that especially when we come home from the theme park at like 1 in the morning LOL. Personally, I don't know how dirty the carpet was because we usually bring our own slippers/flip-flops to move around in or how hard the towels are because we pack the towels also but it was a great experience overall. I would say defiantly worth the price compared to those other hotels out there. But don't expect too much for the breakfast-prepacked bagels, toasts, lemon cakes with some milk, coffee, juice and some fruits. Room was clean and neat with clean and working microwave and fridge. Flat screen TV with cable. Etc. Beds were really comfy and enjoyed my stay there for 4 nights. I came back so I can book the same place for this years trip to Disneyland.

I never have been to this hotel but when the manager or owner write something that happened and apologize leaves much to talk to either the manager or owner. And if they have good prices and good treatment by night we see you soon.

Had a great experience during my stay. The rooms were nice and clean and well maintained. I would recommend this place to anyone and if I'm ever around here again I would definitely stay here again.

Wi-Fi hardly worth the trouble, if you 1min per click wait. Breakfast has the name does not deserve. Rooms are big helps, but everything is nothing if it is just dirty. Kerzenreste on the wall, hair on the towels. All you need say no.

Room is clean and roomy. Just 8 minutes from Disneyland. Staff is good. Free safe parking. Cons: No fan in bathroom!? Don't expect anything good for breakfast.

Room was clean and roomy (besides from the loud air-con when it's on). Wifi wasn't the greatest but then again, it doesn't help when everyone was probably on it. Staff was friendly and breakfast was ok. Sydney, Australia.

Room was comfortable, decent for the price. Customer service was exceptional. The location was good near fun things to do. Amenities such as discount breakfasts at Denny's was a plus.

Outstanding experience once again! Visited Disneyland in Anaheim and stayed here for 3 nights. Clean rooms, very convenient location and friendly staff. I forgot my cellphone in the room and realized it only when I reached the airport. I called the manager and he promptly secured my phone. The next day he shipped my phone via the Fedex shipment I created. Great customer service — will definitely return.

I got a great deal on a 7 night stay here. Location is great. There are several fast food restaurants as well as grocery stores nearby. The room's mini fridge was great to have. Bathroom is small but the sink and mirror are separate. The carpet was dirty as others have said. I wore my flip-flops around the room. Everything else was clean, however. Wifi for our room on the second floor was spotty. You can hear a lot of what is going on outside at night if the a/c unit is not running. The hot tub was nice. We actually stayed there because we visited Disneyland for 3 days. It is about a 10 minute drive. The distance is not bad. The reception was friendly. They got us what we needed whenever we needed it.
