Reviews of Knott's Berry Farm Hotel 3*
Great location and easy access to park for kids! Download the hotel app because their QR code’s are hidden in the hotel rooms.
We love this hotel they are family friendly excellent Guest service.
We just got back from our first visit to the hotel and it was great! The staff was wonderful and the hotel was spotless.
Definitely not quiet rooms with people coming at 11:30pm slamming there door. We even heard people sneezing rooms away. That’s not quiet rooms. They do need an upgrade. Beds feel like your sleeping on a cardboard box. Only good thing I can really say is, it’s close to Knotts berry farm.
This place has amazing atmosphere.
Great and friendly staff and the rooms were clean. Super affordable considering so close to 2 major themeparks and other sights.
Staff was so great. Our rooms were wonderful!
Very nice pool and spa, great service.
Very impressed with the 'knott's hotel'. Super delightful staff at the front desk; very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend it to family and friends!
Very nice, clean rooms. Pool and hot tub are nice. Nice walk to shops and restaurants.
My family really enjoyed the Snoopy theme wing and enjoy Snoopy coming by every night… My 15 month old enjoy hisself. Staff and People and everyone was nice. Knotts Berry Farm Treat you like Family.
It is dated. And staff at front desk was very rude.
Good service, clean, have wonderful staffs, easy to locate, my family had a good time. Thank you so much for the Experience we really had a good time. I’m happy to recommend this place to my friends and relatives. Definitely they will also enjoy and relax. No worries n no headaches staying here.
Great staff very close to park and makes for easier vacation!
Beautiful Hotel! Excellent Service!
I do NOT recommend this hotel. It is absolutely disgusting and completely run down. Incredibly disappointed.
I took my daughter for her 13th birthday this last week. Fortunately, was not overly busy.
Staff were all nice and accommodating. The breakfast buffet at Amber Waves included in our package was definitely a bonus! Room was comfortable and clean. The beds were a little hard, but after a long day at the amusement park, I could’ve probably slept on a cement slab.
Seeing Snoopy in the lobby was also a fun memory.
Amber Waves was also a plus. Portions were huge and food was very good. Staff was all very friendly.
Nice comfortable rooms. Big with nice beds. Love their breakfast buffet. The staff is super, very helpful.
Great bar, great buffet. Very competitive prices on the packages.
The staff was very hit or miss and the air did not work right. For the price of the hotel the people in it should be very nice and accommodating and it was completely the opposite. Only some of the people were nice and not many tried to be helpful.
The rooms are big. The ambience nice and the hotel is close to the Knotsberry Theme Park. The whole experience is awesome.
Like it here, very friendly staff. We ate dinner last night at the Restaurant down stairs, food was good. Large plates. Would have preferred salted butter for the bread.
This is my 3rd time staying here. We really love this hotel for many reasons. Super comfy bedrooms, the room and bathroom has a great amount of space and everything is very clean. The pool area is great, nice splash play area for the kids, decent size pool and spa. The Amber Waves restaurants is great. Cheap parking, friendly staff. Love it here ❤️
We thought the hotel staff were amazing! So friendly and they go out of their way to spoil their guests! We stayed at 4 different hotels during our vacation and this one was the BEST! Great staff and amenities at the hotel!
I stayed here this past weekend with my wife and kids. We had the BEST experience. We paid a little extra and stayed in a Camp Snoopy room on the second floor. Snoopy cane in the evening and tucked the girls in. They loved it so much. We ordered room service and the delicious food came just the way we ordered it and the service was quick. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The room and all facilities associated with the hotel were clean and orderly. Best of all, the hotel is affordable. We will definitely be staying at the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel again in the future!
We had a great weekend at the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel. It was so convenient for visiting the park. Every staff member that we interacted with was wonderful. The room was clean and the hotel accommodations were great. Very pleased. We plan on returning soon.
The room I stayed in was basic but nice. The beds were comfy, the TV was HD, the shower was clean with a fancy granite wall finish, and it had a standard Bible. The service was also nice. My family and I ordered breakfast which was a tad pricey but the food was better than expected. Additionally, the attendant that brought us our food was personable and professional. Lastly, we have the amenities. They have a basketball court that was outside with the NBA as far as hoop quality. You have to put a 20 dollar deposit for a basketball but you get it back when you return the ball. They also have a nice big pool. To add to this, they have a nice restaurant in the lobby if the hotel that has a decent amount of options. Overall the hotel is worth staying in. They have great service, nice amenities and rooms, and good food. As a side note, they are very close to the actual Knott's Berry Farm if you plan on going. It's literally only a 5 minute walk.
It is unfortunate that I am posting this. We have loved our experience here in the past. However, in Aug 2018 we stayed in room 139 on the first floor and noticed that there was a slight stench near the sink. At first we thought it was the water, but on the second morning of our stay, we woke up to a loud gurgling noise and then a very rancid sewer smell. This happened 3 times within 15 minutes. I checked and none of the bathroom fixtures were backed up, but the smell was definitely coming from the drains in the bathroom. I spoke with the manager on duty at the time and they sent the maintenance crew. They couldn't replicate the problem so no action was taken other than dumping some cleaner down the drains. I was extremely disappointed with the fact that they didn't give us a different room or compensate us other than giving us a free breakfast. Our Snoopy experience was more like a POOPY experience for my daughter and her three friends.
Great hotel. Very comfortable and everything is close by. Kids loved having Snoopy tuck them in and say goodnight. Only complaint is that I was able to hear the people next door fart. My baby had a hard time going to sleep because people stayed up later than she did. They we're not crazy loud, you can just hear them really well. Other than that great place.
If you have more than 3 kids stay away from this place. We reserved a double queen bed online for 2 adults and 3 children. Everyone was so excited to go. Then we are contacted the day before our trip and told only 2 of our kids can check in. We were forced to cancel the stay with no other options. They had no regard for the fact that they allowed us to book the room, charged us, and then forced us to cancel. This IS NOT a customer friendly hotel.
My 2nd time here and very friendly staff. Hotel rooms are very beautiful and Love they have complementry coffee in the mornings in your hotel room. And my kids loved the pool and splash pad. It's also right next to the knotts theme park witch I loved.
First time visiting and staying at the hotel. Hotel was very welcoming and accommodating to my four children and myself. The kids loved the pool and the fact that they have their very own splash pad! Amazing and it's open until 11pm which was great since the kids are on summer break and are able to stay up later than usual. Check in was super easy and fast which is a HUGE PLUS!
As stated in the room description, they are small and dated. The bathroom is small too with very poor water pressure in showers. If you're just doing an overnight stay or always out, it's a tolerable room. The restaurant on-site, Amber Waves, had an incredibly long wait time for Sunday morning breakfast. Now the pro, the staff are incredible helpful and willing to please the needs of their guests. Kudos to them.
My wife and I stay here several times a year… with our platinum Cedar Fair passes, it is usually cheaper and more convienent to stay here. I'll list my only Con… as this hotel is older, the number of available plugs is limited. However, there are many hotels with this issue, so we pack our own USB adapters that allow us to plug many devices in no problem… now for the Pro's… Location, location, location… OMG walking distance to Knotts Berry Farm… knotts chicken dinner restaurant… awesome super friendly staff… I love staying here… I have noticed that the rooms are being updated, and I thank you guys for that… keep up the great work!
We come to this hotel 4 to 5 times a year. We are always pleased with the service and value we get as season pass holders. Free parking and walking distance to the park are awesome. We like the pool and splash pad. Since I come with my daughter I appreciate that we feel safe. The rooms are well kept and if there ever is a problem the front desk is attentive to help. Ellery is our favorite, he is so kind and welcoming, please let him know he is doing a fantastic job. We will continue to come here in years to come…
Our Family really enjoyed our stay here! Very friendly staff. Nice clean rooms. They even took the time to arrange the kids stuffed animals on their bed. It was really nice to just walk to the park and restaurants. Snoopy was in the lobby at night the kids loved to come back and give him a big hug. And the pricing was great too. No reason not to stay here while visiting the park.
Very good hotel located next to Knott's Berry Farm amusement park pity that parking is paying.
We spent 2 nights here with our 4 yr old granddaughter. The price is good and it's a nice easy walk to Knott's. Would recommend you get mini refrigerators for all the rooms. $20. Was a bit high to pay for keeping waters cold. The included breakfast buffet is good and enjoyed to snoopy visits. The pool and kiddie fountain was great. We will definitely be back next year. Loved it.
My kids really enjoyed having snoopy come in to tuck them in at night, it was well worth the extra 30 dollars. If you want a place to rest, and you have young kids that you are taking to the park and you want to be close this is a great place. I don't understand what most SNOBBY people on here are complaining about. The staff was great and very helpful. The room was clean and it was excellent being right next to the theme park. People that act like they are to good for anything but the VERY best on here need to have some humbling in their lives.
For the amusement park being so amazing you would think that the hotel wouldkind of follow it but… I have to say that it was definitely way outdated. Where do we start I have to say the customer service was quite nice the guy that helped us was hilarious and made the Jokes which made it very welcome mean. But sadly people don't speak for a building when we got to our room which was supposed to be a king size bedroom, as soon as we walked in we just hear this loud construction going on next door. And I'm thinking seriously after a long trip on a airplane and the horrible LA traffic now Construction? And then there was this random barnyard sliding door. You can tell it was you installation and why they're doing construction but it was just so random and it didn't fit the outdated room. But anyways after discovering the construction I called and I asked for a different room and of course they can't accommodate our king size like we asked for but they were able to get us a 2 Double Queen which was a little excessive because it was just me and my boyfriend and two beds wasn't really necessary but it was better than Construction. When we got to the room I noticed that the dressers look like something from that 70 show and the pillows were supposed to be feather, but they were just plain oh flat. To the point I think I stacked all the pills up to make eventually just one to go to bed.
Extremely good place to stay with a family. Reasonable. The ambiance is amazing. Lobby area is well finished. Rooms are nice and clean and the service is great as well. Can't expect more than that.
We had a nice suite at this hotel. The hotel is located right next to the amusement park, only 5min on foot. It is very clean and the staff is super friendly. You can eat well in the hotel, but there are a lot more good restaurants in the area. Would come back anytime.
We were happy with our stay at Knott's Berry Farm Hotel. It is located next to the theme park which makes for a short walk before you are enjoying rides. The hotel lobby, bar, and restaurant are nice and give a nice family feel. The rooms, on the other hand, are very dated and are in need of an upgrade. However, the staff and service make up for the lack of room quality. Plus, the price (park tickets and room) was hard to beat.
Good hotel but lacks more of his character in the room.
This was an OK hotel. It was a decent price and a great location. Bit the beds were very hard, the pillows were flat and the room was very stuffy. I was surprised the room did not have a mini fridge. With the proximity of the hotel to the park and the ability to go back and forth it would be nice to come to cold drinks to the room. There were only outlets on the lamps and with everyone having smart phone outlets are mandatory it was nice to see they had a power strip next to the bed. Checking in/out was fast and easy and staff was super friendly. It would be nice if the rooms got an upgrade.
Loved our room… we enjoy our stay the only thing I wish they had was a microwave but not a big deal we still enjoyed the hotel, the staff was very friendly everyone made us feel comfortable. We will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
Very nice place to stay if you're planning a trip to Knott's Berry Farm! Proximity to the park is unbeatable, the food at the in hotel restaurant is delicious, all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is that parking at check in is a bit of a nightmare. There's a loop where you're supposed to pull up and run inside to check in, but there's little room to pull around someone if you need to get out before the person ahead of you. I recommend parking, making someone wait in the car in the spot, and having someone else run in to check in. We'd stay here again if we made the trip back to Knott's!
They were every helpful with everything we needed and at the Amber Waves restaurant or server Daniel was great! And I mean really really great! If you eat there ask for him cause you'll be super happy with your service…
We were only here for a short time, as we were just meeting up with family before heading into the park. The hotel was clean and well kept, the rooms were decent and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely consider staying here for our next visit!
Decent price with season pass discount. Nice pool and other annuities. Walking distance to the park is great. Just next door. Nice restaurant inside on the first floor. Much nicer place than the Travel Lodge down the road about two miles for the same price. The Travel Lodge was a ****hole. (Plumbing didn't work) Knott's Berry Farm Hotel was like a palace compared to it. We stayed at a Travel Lodge in Canada that was really nice like the Knott's Berry Farm Hotel. So we expected it to be nice in Buena Park too. Stay away from the Travel Lodge in Buena Park!
Very nice hotel. The attention is excellent. Check in in 10 min. It's very close to Disney. 15 min. By car or have trucks that take you to the parks at no cost. I recommend it widely.
I bring my son every year around this time for Knott’s appreciation of First Responders. We always stay in a Snoopy themed room as they have a plush Snoopy waiting on the bed for my sons arrival. Snoopy and his crew did an awesome job tucking my son into bed. The staff are always friendly and are eager to assist. We always get here early for check in before the room is ready and head for the parks opening. The front desk always texts when our room Is ready and we’ll head back for a break. Bring your swimming trunks as the kids love the splash pad and head for the spa since it’s warmer. The restaurant attached to the hotel is always yummy and always has great service. Snoopy also makes appearances at certain times in the restaurant which the kids love. We’ll see you next year Knott’s and thank you very much for recognizing First Responders. ♂️
Spacious banquet hall. Ample parking. Weird lighting for photos. Gazebo outside is nice. Popular for weddings. Nice ambiance inside. Staff is okay. Didn't see or stay in rooms.
For the price you would think the rooms would be a little nicer. Had to pay an extra $20 bucks to add a mini fridge to the room (a necessity with little ones). Which would be an average amenity at any other hotel. The tub was not properly cleaned still has black leftover soap scum. Extremely unpleasant! The view is nice and they offer free breakfast buffet which is a plus! The foyer is beautifully decorated for the holidays. We haven't seen Snoopy or Charlie Brown around the hotel at all : — ( THERE ARE NO AVAILABLE OUTLETS IN THE ROOM AT ALL! WE HAD TO UNPLUG A LAMP TO CHARGE A LAPTOP. The cell phone had to be plugged directly next to the sink bc it was the only other outlet. (we had to take turns charging phones) ALL OF THE WOULD BE OUTLETS HAD BEEN COVERED. What a bummer!
The rooms are a good size. The service was nothing exceptional. It was suitable for a place comp Knott Berry Farm. The cries of the park were not heard from the room.
The main selling point of this overpriced hotel is the location. Being on the same property as the park is very convenient.
The rooms are decent, and the staff is friendly, but they won’t lift an extra finger for you.
I have a toddler who eats microwaveable meals. I was told there are no microwaves available in their hotel. None in the hotel rooms, none in their lobby, no useable microwaves on the premises.
It’s not like I’m reheating leftover pizza for myself, or anything else. No, I’m just trying to feed my child, and they won’t lift an extra finger to help. I ended up taking an extra 20 mins heating my child’s food with the hair dryer.
Stayed in the suite and had snoopy himself tuck in the little ones. The room was nice and clean but there was no mini fridge or microwave. Snoopy was definitely worth the extra money. He really did a great job tucking in our girls. The room was modern and the girls still talk about it 2 weeks later. I definitely recommend paying extra for the breakfast buffet ticket. It is more than a continental breakfast you can choose from plain scrambled eggs and cheesy scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, country fried potatoes, a variety of cereals, waffles (with a perfect crunch), muffins, bagels, buscuits, etc. I was very impressed with the breakfast buffet and the wait staff were beyond generous.
A good place and Sercano to visit.
If I could give them less stars I would. I stayed at this hotel this past month in October everything was fine until I forgot my diamond ring in the room. Both my husband and I saw the ring in the room before we left and I forgot to grab it. Well I left the park early to grab my ring the housekeeper was in the room and my ring was gone. Yep she stole the ring and when I told the manager he said that they had to do an investigation and they would call me as soon as they could. Well 2 weeks passed no call. So I called they said the housekeeper said she didn’t take it so basically I am a liar and I am not gonna get my ring back or what its worth. They have thieves working there and they simply allow them to take you’re valuable stuff. I will never stay here again, please don’t stay here if you value you’re things because they sure don’t.
The room was quite and clean. It is a little out dated but overall comfortable and convenient. Went to Knott's scary farm and it was so nice being able to just walk to and from after a long night. The only odd thing is all the ice machine we're located on the second floor and above. The first floor does not have any ice machines. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be staying there again.
The Knotts Berry Farm Hotel was very beautiful. At check-in we were easily seen and able to check into our room early. We even had the availability to leave our room keys for other guess that would be coming later when we weren't there. When we came to check our room we found such a beautiful room with plenty of walking space large bathroom and beautifully made beds. We found that everyone in the staff was so nice and willing to help us out as much as possible. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and the food was fresh and hot. I would definitely recommend this hotel whether it's for adults or for a family.
Knott's Berry Farm in beautiful Buena Park, California is a great mixture of thrills and family fun. There are rides for all levels of riders (extreme to tenderfoot). There are also a fine variety of shows that feature, the lovable Peanuts Gang. The food in the park and in the Marketplace are moderately priced and generally can accommodate even the most restricted diet! I would highly recommend Knott's Berry Farm for folks with kids and even adults who are on a budget (can't afford to go to Disneyland or Magic Mountain).
As stated in the room description, they are small and dated. The bathroom are small too with very poor water pressure in showers. If you're just doing an overnight stay or always out, it's a tolerable room. The restaurant on-site, Amber Waves, had an incredibly long wait time for Sunday morning breakfast. Now the pro, the staff are incredible helpful and willing to please the needs of their guests. Kudos to them.
The staff is sooooo friendly! I love this place. Pack your own food because prices are a bit high for their restaurants, but what theme park isn't? Invest in a souvenir cup because the refill prices on those aren't too bad. It does get pretty chilly at night even in summer so bring jackets for the little ones. My family and I buy season passes here every year and it's the best decision we've ever made.
The hotel was very clean and well kept. We were there for our church retreat and the staff was professional, considerate, and always ready. We would definitely go back to have an event.
Decent hotel, nice helpful staff, rooms could use some renovation because they are really old. We didn't use they pool, but it looked nice and lots of other people were using it. We stayed in the camp Snoopy rooms, so our kids got tucked in by Snoopy and that was great. Breakfast buffet included with the room was simple and good. All in all a good experience. Very convenient if you are going to Knott's Berry Farm.
I stayed here during the Fourth of July weekend and I had a very nice experience staying here. The room was standard but it was ok by my expectations. The room was cleaned, bed made, and towels restocked everyday The hotel is just a short walk away from the Knott's main entrance and they also provide a free shuttle to Disneyland. I was very impressed by how clean and well kept the lobby and hallways are kept. The employees are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay close to Knott's Berry Farm.
The rooms are a bit dated and have pretty thin walls. The lobby and restaurant are updated and it's about a 5 minute walk to the stores before the entrance. It's about a 15 minute walk to the park entrance. Parking is $8 a night. It was fine for 1 night after a long day at the park but probably wouldn't stay again unless it was super convenient.
Found the hotel I will stay in every time I come to LA. Much better than the hotel we stayed in next to LAX (Won't name it, but very poor service and slow communication — but very nice rooms and facilities). Knott's berry hotel is in a Great location. Awesome service and very friendly staff. Very fast and efficient communication. Rooms and facilities are very clean. Had an issue with our room alarm going off a couple times (first time it went off, a staff member came within 5min without us calling or prompting). Overall had a wonderful comfortable stay here and plan on only staying here next time I am in LA.
When I was a kid I would always go to Knott's and loved it, but then I stopped going there for about 6 years. In 7th grade I went on a field trip and saw that a few of the rides from when I was a kid were gone, but new ones were also added and I thought they looked good. I also got explore Ghost Town which in my opinion was awesome, I really liked all the different areas of Knott's, they all gave a different feel to the park, sadly Ghost Rider was closed and so was Pony Express when I went there. That didn't mater much though because the rides I went on were really fun, I will be going there on July 25, I know I won't be disappointed at all, this is really fun park with great attractions, shops, areas, and other types of entertainment for everyone to enjoy, and the price is good when you buy the tickets online.
We got a seasons pass and it's been well worth it for us, even though our drive is an hr away. It's an amusement park, so being busy with people is something that comes with the territory. But coming on weekdays has been fun and worth it with little wait times compared to the weekend. The workers are sweet and sometimes when we go I can tell they need lifting. Working customer service can be exhausting quick, serving people isn't easy even when getting paid for it, but working at an amusement park is something I'm sure comes with challenges of sorts. So I just want to be a blessing when we go. This park has changed so much from how I remember it. We loved the 75th anniversary special with the western characters walking through the town, we hope they keep them! We used to have Disney passes, but this has been such a blessing and we are keeping our passes in good use :)
Enjoying the family…
Great stay. It is a must if you are planning on visiting either of their parks. Convenient location, good restaurant, nice pool that is open till 11, and of course a very friendly staff. Will definitely stay next time we are visiting. They also have great package deals!
After pulling into the parking lot the amazing parking lot attendant provided us with so much info we knew exactly where to go next. We spent a whole 7 minutes checking in and within 15 minutes of parking we were in our room with the kids already in their swim suits ready to hit the pool. The room was comfortable as far as temperature and space. Sharing a double occupancy room with two preteens could be a challenge but we all had our own space so it was nice. The dinner at Amber Waves was delicious and reasonably priced for a theme park. So after dinner and swimming it was time to hit the hay. Bed was really comfortable the only gripe I had was that the pillows seemed to be just bags of air. So the next morning was "park day" or as my 2 lil ones had to continue to remind me "chaos day". Cant beat free breakfast buffet which was included in the hotel/park ticket package. Not only was it free but it was really delicious too. All in all it was a great stay and I cant wait to plan another trip from Houston there again!
Game mechanics for all ages
My favorite: the boomerang, silver bullet,
the Xcelerator. I love them. Here do not want q pass the time to follow fun
No matter if is winter, summer, spring, autumn. Here all year round you can have fun.
I wasn't planning to write a review, but I had to respond to some of the negatives. I have a season pass with parking and meals so I go all the time. If you go during peak hours, there's going to be lines. It's a theme park. I usually go during the week and wait 5 minutes at most per ride (it can be well over an hour on weekends). Meal prices are far better than big theme parks, but if you get a season pass with meal plan it quickly pays for itself. Both my kids (4&8) love it. I also like to go without the kids. Some of the restaurants sell beer and their big roller coasters are amazing. I've always found the staff to be very friendly, especially to my 4 year old who they constantly have to measure because he is barely tall enough for some rides. The website and app list ride heights so you can plan in advance which your children can ride. They are very military friendly and offer free admission for vets and 1 guest in November. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it is crowded on weekends, and the food is greasy and pricey if you don't use a meal plan.
Self-styled "The first theme park in America", this amusement park has multiple rides, which are my favorite the Xcelerator, silver bullet, and the boomerang. Very fun and great to visit in summer.
We loved this place the Gosh rider this super fun.
Have attended a few events using their banquet halls and the service and food were excellent. Tried happy hour in the bar there and it was very slow and my party was ignored completely after being seated for over 20 minutes. Not good service in the bar. Hotel and banquet halls quit nice.
A really great theme park if you like Peanuts and western Atmosphere and boardwalk theme. Really awesome during summer and winter. If your a military be sure to come in Nov. I love the season pass been at least 1 each month since buying it.
The rooms where clean and the gym has a good variety of equipment. It is crazy close to Knotts Berry Farm. It's an easy walk to the front gate. Had dinner at the Amber Waves restaurant and it was ok. Nothing spectacular (it looked liked they used pre formed patties for their burgers) but the food was decent and the prices are reasonable. Had the breakfast buffet and while a little sparce in its offerings the food was good and hot. Very nice pool and hot tub. It's not a resort by any stretch but it is a step up from a motel 6.
It's lots of fun. The rides are good for all ages, from the tiniest baby to the most daring adventure seeker. There's even a mini roller coaster for little kids. The lines are relatively short, especially compared to Disneyland, except on some of the really huge roller coasters. I would recommend getting the garlic fries (SOOO GOOD) and bringing the whole family. You won't regret either.
Really great park for the price! Although it is definitely not like Disneyland, there are still a lot of fun rides and things to do. It's even just fun walking around and seeing the different shops and shows. Although it was crowded because of a lot of school groups when we went, we didn't have to wait too long for any ride and we still had a great time. Definitely recommended!
Good was my first time here and it was a lot of fun going to the Boysenberry Festival this year. I've wanted to go the last two years but we didn't get around to it. This was a birthday request and that made it more special. They really kept the Old West ghost town feel to it but with plenty of charm for both kids and adults alike. The food during the festival was good and different. The execution for the festival eats was really not thought out well in our group consensus, maybe that will change in later years. Loved the Boysenberry BBQ sauce, chocolate bars, butter, and syrup I bought. Will definitely be back at a future time to get more I think. But definitely come with kids, I think it will be a lot of fun. Oh! And you won't be monetarily squeezed out by any greedy cartoon mice and his board of directors.
The rides were so spooky my pet centipede literally shifted bricks, causing the mofo behind me to get hit in the head and cause th fourth reich, the resuscitation of hitler, and the summoning of shrek himself. The crowds could not resist my beautiful body shape and tried to lick me, so I felt offended.
After 6 hours and only 3 rides my family started to call this place "Knott's Berry Fun". The ride employees seemed all dead about their jobs. The lines are insane and went are there 80s music videos all over the place? This place needs a huge face lift cause it's feeling just old. They need to speed up the lines in a big way to. And put more things for shade up to. I went on a ride that wasn't built for tall people and it literally smashed me into a scrunched turd. Literally. Well maybe not literally but bracing yourself on a ride in a scrunched position sure will make you feel like sh*t after for several hours. After the 2 lines that took 2 hours the day was about up and we didn't even want to do another ride cause no ride is worth that kind of time while your on vacation. This place was definitely 100% a waist of vacation time and money. Won't be coming back.
This theme park is no Disneyland, but it does provide for a day of adventure. The roller coasters here are Class A. They have something for everyone, kiddy to Crazy! I enjoy the thrills every time. They have a few good food options in the park, however pricy they are it is convenient to eat and run. The employees seem generally happy to help you in the park. However this place is fairly run down and poorly maintained. I wish they would spend more on maintaining their infrastructure and keeping up the ascetics of the park.
I've been visiting Knott's Berry Farm for ages. When I was very young, it was my favorite park, but as I have grown older, my fondness for it has diminished. My most recent trip, for my daughter's bday, was fine, but not all that I remember. Maybe we had some unfortunate luck, but we had a few rides break down after having waited significant amounts of time in line, and the lines we were in for rides we ended up getting on were painfully slow. The biggest draw of Knott's, it's cheap. The price of entry is half of what it is at Disneyland, that's pretty big. But for those of you who typically take food into the Land, you won't be doing that at Knott's, all your food and drink will be purchased on site. It's something to think about.
Great fried chicken and excellent price as far as theme parks go. The height restrictions are a joke, even for rides in "Camp Snoopy. " The logistics, or lack thereof are the most frustrating part, I guess you pay for efficiency when you go to Disney… loading, unloading, capable workers, fast passes, broken rides, stroller switches etc. As a business owner, I wouldn't have many return customers if I ran things so haphazardly. Wait times are horrible during Spring Break. Our advice would be to avoid the park while school is on break but if you choose to go anyway, be at the gate at 9:50am — start at the back of the park with larger rides that will get worse as the day goes on and don't expect much from those running the rides. Those things being said, we love that the park does Komen PINK days with 75% benefiting Orange County's "Race for the Cure" and when we went about 10 years ago in the Fall and it was amazing — truly a Ghost Town! Also, I would rate certain aspects differently, some food, price and rides would get a higher rating but it doesn't matter how good your food or park is if you have poor execution and poorly trained ride operators (who know one rule obnoxiously well — meticulously measuring 34.5" kids accompanied by an adult) … overall, the one star.
Love that the park is so next door, and that you can park at the hotel and walk right over. Normally check in is at 4pm but we received a text around 12:30pm that our room was ready which was awesome as my family was tired and needed to relax. The room service food was really good, and the pool area was really nice as well. We will definitely stay here again when we come back!
Awesome place to visit for rides and such. Not that great because of the enormous lines and sweaty people next you 24/7. There is always a large gross family who is loud and has a little bratty kid who keeps butting against you. Johnny Rockets is the only good grub there. Kind of like IN N OUT, but not as good. Come early and leave at around 4:00pm. The rides are fun maybe 2 times, but then they get boring. Fun place to bring kids and young adults.
We went here during the week with some friends and our kids, and it was absolutely awesome. Because school had not let out yet the lines for the rides were almost non existent. We were able to get in almost as many rides as we wanted. My daughter is young and barely makes about 38 inches and she was able to ride on pretty much everything she wanted to. The food is good, but way too expensive for what you receive. I would recommend bringing your own. Fun fun time overall.
We have visited twice. The first time two years ago. Both times it was great. Weather was great for a day walking around in a theme park. Rides were fun and operators were friendly.
It is a very beautiful park, and my daughter especially loves to ride in the trunk and the games ends :-)
Okay… everyone knows I'm a huge Disneyland fan… and the last time I went to Knott's Berry Farm just seemed to confirm to me that I was right all along — stick with Disneyland! During my last visit, I wasn't overly impressed with the ride selection the park has. It seems to never change or add any new rides. I guess if you're into the nostalgia that comes with riding "Diarrhea's Revenge, " then it might be a place to spend an afternoon, but overall, there just isn't that much to do here. Sure, there are a few "grown-up" rides, but nothing I haven't been on before and if I wanted the whole "grown-up" factor, I would've driven to Magic Mountain. Even Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant just isn't what it used to be. I don't know, I guess this place has lost its umph on me.
I have no words… the most dissapointed experience for the reason that we had play alot to win at least one present for my son and the one time that my brother won they come and tell us that they have to check the cameras to see if he really had won or not cause the employee didnt see… we were ok we waited an hour and they come and tell us that after reviewing the cameras we didnt win we couldnt believe it, we talk to supervisor and security and no one seem to help… I will never recomend this place and we will not go back and its not the fact that its a stuff animal what got us mad it was the customer service they are providing for us. What I couldnt believe is that. Knotts berry farm a huge company like it is rather cheat us rather than show us the video so we can see the prove that we didnt win… I hope people stop sopporting knotts and rather spend their money in six flags or disney that they are serious companies.
This is the best deal on a season pass! Never a lot of people there during the week and weekends are pretty good too. Fun roller coasters.! Totally worth it!
The atmosphere is great! And I do love rollercoasters, but I don't like really crazy and intense ones lol. Knotts rides are just the right amount of fun! I would really recommend this anyone!
So sad, we have had passes for 5 years. This year the card I got reminding me to renew at $12.00 (that I get every year) was left at my neighbors in their mail. They just got home from holiday with their kids. So we called Knotts and they said sorry nothing we can do. I can't believe they won't extend the offer. Kinda like Disneyland just really don't care about their guest. So I guess my husband and I won't be spending the time with our grandkids. We mainly just went with them. I love going to Knott's, will miss it.
Knotts Scary Farm I'm a scaredy cat… But I'm fascinated with knotts creative mazes. I hate things jumping out at me! I think I'm also lacking the adrenaline I use to have years ago from roller coasters and free falls… After few fast roller coasters and free falls, I was so alert hat I was less scared off the monsters. The roller coasters and the free fall was actually fun. But I still lacked the excitement I use to have… We got the fast lane tickets, which saved us a lot of time to ride all the big roller coasters and go through all 12 mazes. Make sure to get the right fast pass tickets! We accidentally got the fast pass for RIDES not the mazes. Luckily the manager was around to let us pay the extra $20 difference for the right one. Skeleton key: for people with fast pass. I think 6 of the mazes had bonus rooms. They're not mazes, just rooms with people making a theatrical scene to hype you up for the maze. I loved it a lot. Pretty intimate and some are sort of interactive. Mirror maze: is interesting but I'm glad I didn't wait in line for this. It's a room full of mirrors and they make you go in circles til the time is up then opens another door so you could leave. Black magic: my favorite maze! Make sure to look for Houdini near the exit! This was also my favorite bonus room. Trapped: $60 for up to 6 people. We were on stand by so we got in without making a reservation. It's interactive and each room has a really easy puzzle.
It is very fun and there are a lot of recreations and wheels.
Rides are great, everything is great BESIDES the stupid fast lane thing. If you ever want to get front row seats, don't expect to get it in along time. I waited 20 mins for Montezuma revenge and I got to the front of the line with 2 groups I'm front of me, but every other ride the seats were taken by the dumb fast lane people. They should just be able to go near the front of the line, like xlerator and such where they merge in with the rest of the people, but on this ride it is very inefficient and very annoying. Having to wait another 30 mins in the front of the line is unacceptable and just plain annoying.
A great park — has a good amount of rides and enough stores to keep those who don't like rides happy. I used to go here all the time as a kid and now I enjoy going just to see the stores, blacksmith, the old school, and ride the old real train. There's shows in saloons too that are actually pretty good. Don't miss the funnel cake. Most of the stores take credit card (including parking ($17) ). Make sure to visit the shops on the way out especially during the holidays — some amazing displays.
Theme Park very good, is the Travel Holidays visit the good place.
I enjoy coming here a lot. There are a lot types of rides to choose from. The shows are also great. Every summer & winter they have an ice skating show. I would recommend trying the nacho fries & the boysenberry punch they are both delicious. They have a Johnny Rockets & Panda Express inside of Knott's just in case you don't want to from other places. If you're a season pass holder you get a discount on food and merchandise.
Excellent park, super fun and is family…
We love it! Knott's is a wonderful, affordable, clean, and safe place to take your entire family. The park is big enough to accommodate a variety of rides, yet small enough that you don't feel lost. The price of admission is less than half what it costs to get into Disneyland, and the lines are shorter. The locals and regulars know what I'm talking about, and know what a deal and great experience Knott's really is. Let the tourists go to Disneyland; we'll take Knott's! Parking is a breeze, and it's a short walk past several cute shops just outside the front entrance, and Knott's has the chicken restaurant there too, which if you know the history it's where it all started. We have kids of all ages, including an infant, so we can send our older kids out on their own and know they'll be safe and have a great time on all the thrill-rides, while we take our 1 year old over to Camp Snoopy. The restrooms are clean, and there's even a changing station (room) for young families and their babies with booths to change diapers and a private area to breast-feed. The staff is very accommodating for photo opportunities, and treated us well. We got several photos of our 1 year old hugging Snoopy and in other areas and rides. Knott's also appreciates military veterans, and gives us (and one guest) free admission during November, and we have made it a family tradition to go at least once (and sometimes twice) during this time; THANK YOU VERY MUCH KNOTT'S BERRY FARM!
Definitely worth every second! I absolutely love this place! I have been going here ever since I was a kid and I would love to keep coming here. I love the kotts scary farm. It is so fun! The ribs are the best! The rides are awesome! Definitely 5+ stars!
Knotts Berry Farm Hotel review only — — Worst experience ever! The online registration is completely (purposefully? ) misleading. You think you're getting park tickets for each day you stay, only to find out that it's only one day of tickets regardless of how many tickets you buy. FIX THAT! Then to make matters worse, the hotel manager, you know who you are… most unaccommodating hotel manager I've ever met. Your smug "I'm going to screw this family so bad" face just made things worse. Hotel needs some work. Everything about it screams 1970. Do some renovation! AND clean the rooms while you're at it. We left the hotel early to find a place that actually want to be hospitable. Wasn't hard to find a few close by.
Very neat place to explore with the husband and children. People tend to be cranky on a hot summer day like today, but some employees were very nice to my family and I. My husband noticed lights at the calco saloon were not working an asked the guy at the balcony if maintence to take care of it. He said he had already worked on maintence of them and did the best he can to fix them. Apparently the maintence people were off. Meanwhile he did call his supervisor to double check and let us know that it will be fixed soon :D He was the nicest employee we talked to overall today and probably the best show we watched at the calico saloons Did a good job on the sound. Our family loves coming to see the show every time we visit. Thank you Aaron for making our time worth.
We just got home from Knotts Berry Farm a few hours ago & WHAT A FUN DAY! I grew up in SoCal & have been to Knotts, Disneyland & Magic Mountain many times. Knotts is my favorite as a mom now because the entertainment ranges from kiddie rides & attractions to piss your pants, crazy, scary rides for adults & teens. The workers are all friendly, the shopping is not only plentiful, but actually reasonably & sometimes even COMPETITIVELY priced & the lines aren't even a FRACTION of Disneyland wait times. Knotts wins our vote for best theme park, hands down, no competition!
I'm sorry to do this, (Mrs. Knott is rolling over in heaven) Like a lot of native Californians. I have been going to Knotts for the excellent chicken dinner. Its been a few years and yesterday, my son and I took a trip to Knotts. On a scale of 1 (yuk) — 10 (exlnt) it was a minus 1. WHAT DID YOU DO to those gr8 biscuits, CHICKEN, AND PIE. The pie crust was not flakey and no flavor. Knotts is now an average comercial chicken dinner at a gourment price. Shame on you. The $20 in gas and $27 for 9 pcs of tasteless greasy chicken was not worth our drive. I will not take out of town guests here.
I have always loved Knotts and remembered how many great family memories I had here. I took my own kids and it was like taking a time worp.
Not the best customer experience in the morning. I sat down on one of the common tables with my baby grandson, to feed him, (by the merry go round) while the other eleven people in my party were enjoying the rides. An over zealous cleaner started moving the tables and sweeping under the table, and almost on my feet. Finally one person came to the table and asked me if I was about to leave. So I moved. Yes, the tables are for people who buy food in the nearby food services. No. Me and my baby grandson are customers too. Second: My husband and I went to watch the stunt show. The heat and sun were incredible. Stunt show was about to begin, no room in the shaded wagons, just benches under the sun. The only empty space was the wagon for disabled customers. I went there with the baby. Attendant asked me to leave "because the wagon was exclusively for disabled people. " I asked her if I could please stay, the heat was too much for the baby. She said yes, but I had to leave if disabled cusomers needed the place. Two disabled customers AND THEIR FAMILIES came to the wagon. She even pulled chairs for the families, relatives and children. And asked me to leave. I told her if I heard a single more word from her I would make it a big deal and ask for MY MONEY BACK, I had just spent around $600 dollars in entrance tickets and a tiny shaded space for a baby would not hurt her. So, yes, th park is cheaper than Disneyland, but perhaps it is not worth it. I felt really dissapointed.
I love this place. Its good for kids but its also great for adults. It has a bunch of fun rides and the atmosphere is eccentric. This would be my go to theme park if I lived closer. It is also pretty affordable compared to Disneyland. I suggest that anyone and everyone should go here!
Its a great them park nice employees especially the girl at siver bullet Mayra she tied my shoe ha but all friendly only con is the rides/ the carts are to little for tall people my knees are always getting crushed (Im only 6'4).
Fun rides that I had fun. The silver billet was my favorite it was fast and smooth, I went onto almost all the rides and they were thrilling and exciting, it is much cheaper then Disneyland and it's a good alternative.
Many problems at Knott's. Not enough seating for families to sit down and eat. Pay $15 for a plastic refillable drink container with free refills the day of purchase. Problem is, you have to wait, and wait, and wait in line at food counters along with everyone actually ordering food. Sounds great, but a royal pain in the butt as it takes forever to get your drink refilled. There are no employees controlling the ride lines so line jumping or any other kind of bad behavior goes on with no repercussions. People have to sort themselves out as far as getting onto the ride itself, just chaos. The fast food places take soooo long to take/fill an order. Nobody is in any kind of hurry. Waited in line behind multiple people just wanting a drink refill for at least 40 minutes before reaching the order window myself. Very poor organization on the part of management on so many levels.
IT IS CROWDED, but it is a California theme Park, and that is to be expected, especially with all the season pass holders, Knott's is reasonable compared to the other theme parks in the area, So families come by the droves, it is packed from opening to closing on the week-ends, but with a little planning you should still be able to get on a few rides and see some shows, if you have a season pass you can switch the rides up each time you go. I take my grand-daughter and we get on our favorites like Jaguar, and Log ride and add a few different ones each time. We see some shows, stroll around, and enjoy the Country Fair atmosphere. The park is clean for the most part, especially since the new Manager started. If the food places are packed, you have the option of walking to La Palma Avenue and purchasing food there. Flame Broiler, McDonald's, Subway, I-Hop, and the Farmer's Market on Saturday, Fat Burger's, Portillo's, etc. Bring your own water bottles if you can they charge 3.79 a bottle. In the Summer I take more kiddos with me and I pack a cooler in the car filled with ice and all the tempting snacks I can think of, including those over priced fruit cups and pickles. I have been going to Knott's since 1969, word to the wise, DO NOT expect the Knott's Fried Chicken to taste the same as in the past, the recipe has changed along with the Boysenberry Punch. That is the reason for my 4 stars, because they keep advertising it as Mrs Knott's fried chicken and it is NOT.
Still fun after all these years. The staff is friendly and the Ghost Town is still my favorite area in the park. It's so thematic with the train ride and pony express. There's also some wonderful food. It can get a little crowded with all the season pass holders, but it's a fun distraction for the day nonetheless.
Knotts bery farm is really fun and exciting for kids and adults rides are my favorite thing in the world love you guys from madisyn.
Very friendly staff! But the rooms were a bit worn, the bathtub was dirty (ick), and the towels smelled musty and sour. We're here for one night, and they comp'd the parking — like I said, the staff was fantastic and helpful. The hotel was just *meh*.
Too much $$ for what they have to offer. The entire hotel needs a face-lift: scuff marks on the every corner, worn handle bars on every door, worn carpet, etc. I paid $175 for one night and expected more than a "mom and pop" hotel. The sercive was equally unempresive: the front desk clerk was either brandnew or did not know how to smile, Snoopy's entorouge also failed to smile, and the host down in the restaurant was no where to be found! Oh, well, I found a really nice Mexican resaurant on Knott Blvd. And Ball Rd.
This awhole makina wuo that mother.
Ugh it is the greatest! Lots of childhood memories here and there is seriously something for everyone. Great food, rides, and places for the little ones. Also, the lines tend to be much more reasonable in length. Disneyland doesn't hold a candle to it if you are looking for a great amusement park.
This place is better than you think! All is very nice, when I call the service, they response quickly! I will return if there are any chance.
Super excellent park like q hotel wao will as we enjoy has a lot of history education and I highly recommend super.
We booked a single night months in advanced. We gave them almost every shred of information we could. Then, we realized we wanted to cancel our reservation so we called. After 2 and a half hours of being on the phone, we got 7 phone numbers, 4 websites, 2 booking numbers, and we have gotten no where. This place is not worth it at all. If you're going to book a night, be 354% sure you wanna go because there is no turning back.
Extranamos the jaguar truth sngel Very good the old west.
My wife and I went there and had lots of fun the food was good not like at disneyland. We ordered two hamburger combos and the sodas that were watered down the fries were cold and covered in salt and the hamburgers were maid toasted it was so toasted it was like if we were biting a ritz cracker from disneyland the rides are thrilling and exciting we were looking around for snoopy and didnt see him the whole day that we were there everything at knotts was great the best from 1to 10 — 11 we can't wait to go back again hopefully will see all the characters next time.
Most of the staff were friendly and upbeat. The prices are cheaper than many other theme parks and the rides were just as fun. I went on a Monday during the summer and the longest line I waited in was 30 minutes. Most of the rides were 5 minutes or less. Fun and scary rides made a great day. I will go back whenever I can.
It seemed quite absurd to be charged 1-night 3 days prior to check-in, then to be charged another deposit upon check-in, when the room was fully paid for prior to arrival. Unfortunately, during the stay, and after, the friendliest person actually in the hotel was the guard at the beginning of the parking lot! Rooms came with a coffee pot, but no plug to use it. Had to move the pot to the bathroom for an outlet. Outlet behind TV was overloaded/fire hazard with multiple plugs. Additionally, there wasn't even modern hotel room accommodates in the room: such as a mini-fridge, microwave, or an extra blanket in the closet! The ice maker tasted like it came from water in the creek down the street and to purchase water in the vending machine required cash — but there wasn't an ATM on the hotel site, only at the park, gift shop or restaurant. Quite inconvenient. I asked for Wi-Fi access at check-in and was told to call the operator to get it. Why? The entire weekend found very large, loud, groups of teenagers for some dance, party, or ceremony, that took it upon themselves to run amok with the only 3 elevators and 1 stairwell available to PAYING guests, when they were not staying — hotel staff chose to ignore. The pool/splash pad was probably the best asset we utilized outside of the room at this hotel. Unfortunately, towels for the pool weren't restocked if it happened to be after 6pm.
I loved ghost rider it was awsome.
It was super fun. I went there with my family and we also went to the park. Oh yeah the one who said it was dirty smelly bugs. I garenty you havent been there.
Season pass well worth it. lines. Being able to sit down enjoy a reasonable priced meal was refreshing. If you get the pass, don't forget your souvenir drink container. The first day refills were free, didn't find out until almost time to leave. The staff member didn't explain, she just wrapped a band around it. I asked what was the band for when I went for refill and the next staff member told me.

Wonderful friendly staff, mattress could use an upgrade 😂 otherwise we loved it! Snoopy wing is the cutest! Myself, husband and 13 year old had a great stay! Pool/Jacuzzi area is great! Loved the delivery to pool side service from Amber Waves :)
