Davina who checked us in was a wonderful person to us and started out our stay in a very positive way. We had a unique situation and she went above and beyond to ensure that we were completely taken care of. I would recommend her as an excellent employee. Unfortunately I would not recommend the hotel itself as it was dirty, the toilet leaked, the bedding was stained. The hotel was gross. We only stayed one night in an emergency situation and had it not been for Davina and the morning staff who was also very friendly, I would have given the hotel a 1. The pool was clean though and we did swim in the morning so that was good at least. Please recognize Davina as an excellent employee.

Found bedbugs at 2am all over my brothers bed! Went for a refund to no avail. Was told to contact corporate office. 1 because there's nothing lower. Stay at your own risk. (Now we know why they'll leave a light on). At least 2 weeks since our night of bedbugs, with no refund (wanted to put us in another room. Right! Called corporate talked with someone who said that I would be contacted either from corporate or the manager about my refund. Haven't heard from anybody. Saved the photos of the bed bugs, if they think I'm kidding I'll be going to Channel 3 News within a couple days if I haven't heard from anybody. Just want to let you all know stay at this place at your own risk! If you don't have bugs already in the room, watch out cuz the clientele spinning around that place might throw some on you. Have an awesome night at Red Roof or Holiday Inn. (we'll post the best pics after the news looks at them).

Close to Wal-Mart and convenience stores etc. So there's really no need to use the available room service. I stayed for a week, and all of the desk staff (day and night) were really kind and helpful. One thing that occasionally annoyed me was that the TV volume was capped at 40 and it was very difficult to hear most of the time. I didn't ask the front desk about it, so I don't know if that's a setting for all the TVs, or if it could fixed. The shower always had lots of hot water and the water pressure was wonderful. Room was clean (no bedbugs or any other bugs) but not very well appointed. No coffeemaker, fridge, iron etc. But they do have a morning coffee service in the office everyday. They also had vending and ice machines as well as a laundry room. Two washers and two dryers and vending for detergents etc. Wash and dry were coin operated $2 each. I did not use them so jury is still out on their maintenance. They also had smoking and non smoking rooms, which smokers are finding less and less available these days. They are also pet friendly however, I'm not sure if there are additional charges for pets. Overall this is a great place at a budget-friendly price.

Better then some motel 6s. They updated some if not all the rooms but security is so ridiculous there. Has guaranteed you will get hassled you do not have a room in your name and even if you do it seems like they're constantly messing with you if you leave your room. This is a motel that if you have a warrant plan on having your door kicked in at 5:00 a. M. For sure.

The first thing I did when I walked in was killed several roaches. Then I noted a couple more along the baseboard. The floor was generally dirty. Next, I noted that the drapery did not cover the entire window. It was short an inch or more on each side. The bed had a decorative bed spread, but not a blanket. Who knows how many unshowered people sat on the spread? You'd have to go a long way to attract my business again.

I checked into the motel around 5 or 6 at night. The first room I was given was not cleaned at all, blood or hopefully pizza sauce all over one bed. Bugs squished and all over the floor… the room reeked of smoke, and there were leavings in and on the toilet… I went and asked for a new room and maybe a discount for having to move. I was given 20 dollar discount and was happy to move rooms. The Second room also was not cleaned. Marijuana was all over the room in fresh and burned form. More squished and dead bugs all over the place. And the deadbolt did not work. Also our second room was put square in between two rooms being used for nothing but hooking. I asked for a refund and was told if I was given one I would be out of a hotel room, no offer for a walk to another motel 6 or hotel. Honestly I have stayed at many Motel 6 and this is by far one of the worst, if not the worst. I would recommend anyone to avoid this particular motel 6.

The gal at front desk was great. But the facility on Bell Rd need LOTS of Corporate attention. Suggest a massive spring cleaning of the exterior, some updates of the rooms also in order. We stay at the Motel 6 near Old Town Scottsdale and its great. This one? not so much!

The rooms were super clean. Beds were firm but at the same time, soft. The pillows, which are always very important as to how well you sleep were just great. The room smelled of clean, but not over-powering clean. The location was near to every place we needed to go. The parking area well lighted. Which is important for security We. My wife and I were tremendously satisfied. We will stay there again and again and again. And we have recommended this hotel to all of our friends. Great job!

I tend to stay at motel 6 because when on the road it is just to sleep and the cost is acceptable. This location is clean and the rooms are recently remodeled. The staff was also very helpful for information for local hidden gems for food ect along with their customer service. If this location was used as the standard for all locations, it would do the brand well.

The Bell Road, Phoenix, AZ staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were much better than the Barstow motel 6 which were like sleeping on the floor. The bathroom tub and toilet were very clean however all the floors bathroom and the outer areas were visibly dirty in the corners (built up dirt and dust) and you could feel the dirt as you walked on the floor. I ruined 2 new pairs of white socks as I didn't want to walk on the floor and told my husband to not take off his socks also. We stayed 2 nights out of necessity as we arrived earlier than we planned for our planned accommodations. We have used motel 6 before on past road trips and have never had problems before. I understand the trade off of some amenities for a lower room cost however cleanliness is not an option.

I left my laptop in room 274 when I checked out on 3/4/18. confirmation Talked to Missy at front desk on 3/4. Said housekeeping has it and will send it to me. Followed up on 3/5 and 3/9. Head housekeeper Martha has not returned my call. I know this is my fault for leaving it but I have to give Motel 6 a big fat zero for not following up. I would appreciate a call to let me know when it will be forwarded to me.

I have to say that I was definitely on a budget for a soccer tournament with my daughter so of course I looked up Motel 6 because they always have the best rates although best rates sometimes come with my price. I actually paid less in Las Vegas for a hotel with a casino in a better neighborhood. This neighborhood I would have to say allowed for shady people there for worrying my daughter. I could have probably stayed in a nicer neighborhood for only a few dollars more but didn't do my research well enough. I had to actually tell the front desk that people at 3 in the morning were disturbing me up above and making a bunch of noise. Then to be rudely awoken from the people to the left of me when they left to go get donuts their dogs wouldn't stop squealing and barking. I will say after the fact problem was solved but I was already up and our day has been started until we came back in the evening two hookers and Shady people who looked like they were up to no good. My daughter pointed out that there were holes in the comforter that looked like they could have been from cigarette Burns multiple times all over so we just folded them down and use the sheets and turned the heater up.

Sorry to say, but I have stayed at a lot of pretty bad motels… but this one was the worst. There was, what appeared to be blood on the ceiling and shower curtain. There was a used washcloth hanging over the shower. Door frame looked as if it probably had been broken into before. Ceiling by the AC was so sagged, probably wet with condensation. Room reeked of smoke. Bathroom door didn't latch. Honestly, I'm pretty good at understanding that it's just a motel, and you can't expect luxury, etc, but this was really, really bad. Sorry, wish I had something good to say. The lady at the front desk was nice. But they did give away my room (I booked a room with a fridge, and they didn't have one for me…). Basically, worst motel experience ever.

The customer service of the staff was great and accommodating. The facility was kept up and clean. There were problems with the keys not working and having to go back and forth to get it to work, ultimately having to switch rooms, to which the staff stayed on top of, and had great attitude. However, the rooms were very small compared to other facilities, the air conditioner in both rooms were not great and woke up in a stuffy room. Also, I understand guests need to pick up after their own dog, however in the event they don't. Who does it? There was a lot of dog waste in the grass and the grass is directly in front of the rooms, and around the pool area. It's very unsightly and smelly, and no clean areas to walk my dog around without stepping in it. Who wants to look at big piles of dog mess as they open up their front door?

Good service, very comfortable bedroom, clean, helpful staff to meet, close to shops, departmental.

Good service, clean rooms, the facilities are not luxury, but if you are looking to stay at a good price in a centrally located, this hotel will serve you. With parking.

The cleanliness or their lack of was disturbing. Not only were their food crumbs in every corner of the room, the bathroom towels were rough and looked to be dirty. The floors were filthy, and after you get out of the shower and by the time I made it to the bed my feet were black. (No exaggeration) The key card has to be reset almost every time you leave your room and then come back. But the staff was friendly and that's always nice.

Decent rooms. The people next door wouldn't stop fighting with each other so I had entertainment while I was. There too.

The room was ok until the toilet over flowed and flooded the bathroom. It is your office staff that we had problems with. The manager refused to let one of us use the lobby bathroom when ours was usable. She was very hateful, inconsiderate. For her actions alone you should refund our money, and fire her. The check in girl also does not know her job. The card use to reserve the room was only that, just to hold the room, instead she charged it to card, and that caused an over charge on my mom account. We tried to pay but she wouldn't let us. No we were not pleased with the service at Motel 6 and have no plans of staying there next year. We do make this trip to Phoenix every year.

I feel satisfied, as they have respected the reservations, the cleaning of the room is very good and has vigilance.

Our room was short one washcloth and one hand towel. I asked for an extra blanket, and there was none to give us. Fortunately, I had a lap-size afghan in our car which I used the second night and stayed warm. (We do not like to sleep with heat on. )

I had the WORST experience here! The rooms are ok for the price, but there is lots of transient and possibly drug traffic. The old, redhead up front seemed nice enough. Until she started flirting with my bf! She's lucky I know how to conduct myself like a PROPER woman.

Clean, great price and quiet. Water pressure could've been better. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a affordable night sleep!

Very clean everything that is bad is that I forgot my silver chain with a cross and djieron that there was nothing is not so much the value of what it costs if you don't what that is worth in feeling for me. But there is left in the buro or so.

Opened the door to the non smoking room and the smell of cigarettes hit me like a ton of bricks… Got out off the shower. Walked to the bed and my feet were black. You could feel the nasty residue on the floor. As I am getting ready to leave myself. My kids and or stuff stink of cigarettes smoke. Not so great. Didn't have this problem the one other time I stayed here.

The lady at the front desk was awesome (she was from NY)! She was so helpful and hard-working. Unfortunately, my non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes. The lady at the front desk helped me switch rooms, but the second room also smelled of cigarettes.

The front desk was courteous and friendly, making me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in the lobby/office door. When I asked where I might find things in the city I was answered politely and was provided a few options to cover travel in different directions. I was able to decline housekeeping ahead of time and was not disturbed during my stay. The room was quiet and clean with towels and more than one trash can and the shower water was instantly hot. With cable in the room, a table with two chairs and decent bed, I was able to unwind and relax. The lobby with two ice machines, vending machines, plus coffee available in the morning if desired it was what you would expect from a budget friendly motel. I am grateful for the customer service provided the most, it definitely will keep me going back to this motel as opposed to others. So many times I have stayed at a cheaper motel with my family, throughout several states, where staff were rude or rushed me through the process or even some out right verbally warned me against drug use during my stay, implying and/or accusing me of illegal activity upon registration! It was appalling and unfortunately this behavior, poor customer relations, became an expected part of travel over the last ten years. Just because I use a motel that saves me money does not mean I partake in criminal behavior!

Haven't felt so at home in a long time. Ashley at the front desk was Awesome and very helpful. Someone make that lady a manager! All the staff were 100 percent respectful. I'll definitely come back any time I need a hotel. Thank you guys for being awesome — Chris.

Aside from the local tweakers pounding on my door consistently every hour from 2am to 5am, the room being cold as ice no matter what you turn the A/C to, no toiletries, broken coat hangers, a door that doesn't really lock and blood on the walls from people shooting up and squirting their blood everywhere, it was decent. A motel 6 is a motel 6. Pet friendly & good front desk service besides all that. Don't be surprised if you stop by and walk past a room with someone tied off, needle in hand and out cold. Like I said, motel 6.

The rooms are decent. I think the rooms could be cleaner. L you though. Checked in to one room, used the toilet one time and it started leaking. Not just a small leak either. It was coming out into the room. I told them about the issue and they moved us to a different room immediately. Ashley, at the front desk is a amazing & a total sweetheart. Very courteous, well spoken, very knowledgeable & always happy with a smile on her face. She was very helpful to me, answered all my questions politely.

The room was somewhat clean checked in there was gnats flying around in the bathroom area the AC hardly worked if at all the second day I was there the AC completely went out I sat for more than 24 hours with no air the desk clerk proceeded to tell me that the chiller went out and it was all linked together there was not one room in the whole hotel that was cooler than the room I was in and I have asthma so I said okay she said it's already being taken care of they're already on the way to look at it so I waited another hour or two came back Ashley the desk clerk proceeded to tell me another lie about how she just got a hold of them they are looking at it as a speak and that it's cooling the chiller is pushing out hot water instead of cold water and the temperature is coming down as they speak know if anybody understands that correctly that's a bunch of gibberish and lies however I asked once again to move rooms she explained to me that she was the front end manager for the moment and that she could not do that my options were either a stay and deal with it or be I could check out immediately and bring her the keys and she would refund part of my money for that stay However I have no vehicle and had several items with me that I was traveling with so basically because I had no vehicle I had to sit in the Heat and suffer this went on until the next shift came on and then the kind security guard Michael was very pleasant and very helpful stopped by my room and I had the door

The rooms look very nice. The comforter for the bed was a very nice bright and happy color of sunset orange. The beds were extremely comfortable. The only complaint that I had would be that the air conditioning unit didn't get the room cold enough for my tastes. But over I would recommend Motel 6 to everyone I know.

What a total dump! The place looks and acts like a no-tell motel. I am surprised they don't have an hourly rate for the hookers. If you are looking for bugs and/or drugs this us the place to stay. Otherwise stay far away!

The room smells like something musky masked with a can of Lysol. Walls are paper thin. I can actually hear the other room having a conversation and find myself responding mentally. There were transients in the parking lot just hanging out, looking extra creepy. Was afraid my car would get vandalized or broken into. SO much noise. I've never stayed at a noisier motel. People talking outside my door, kids playing/screaming, yappy dogs barking at every little thing, etc. The manager, Paula, I think was her name, did call my room to ask if everything was okay with it, which I thought was a nice touch. The front desk staff was polite but I doubt I'd stay here a second time.

My stay here was really nice. I stayed two nights. Went for a swim in the pool it was nice and cool loved it. My room was simple and smelled very clean. Bed was so very comfortable I had to stay another night. Had no problems. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone professional or non. Anyone who says otherwise is wanting this place to stay cheap for their own self gain. Just saying its marvellous.

DO NOT STAY HERE! No star motel. I love m6 but this one… Management is rude, disrespectful, totally intolerable. Office personal is a joke, just like the manager here. They give away rooms that have reservations and blam you, rooms are dirty, drug addicts and ho's everywhere you look. Do not stay here! shut this location down!

This place is such a sh! t hole. We we're corporate booked paid in full. There was a mistake in the booking. We we're supposed to be out by 11 am today. We get back from packing our both up. We see the windows in our room are open. Our door keys don't work. To top it all off our stuff has been cleared out. We go yo the front desk to get our stuff back and figure what's going on. The front desk refuses to give our stuff back. They told us to call corporate and then called the cops on us after we refused to leave. The cops said they couldn't do anything. The hotel said we'll have to come back at 7 a. M. To get our belongings. So now we have nothing but the clothes on our backs. I will never stay at a motel 6. Ever again. The cops were here every night. I had a cigarette burn in my bedding. This is the most messed up thing you can ever do to a guest. I've work at the Hotel Del, Paradise Point. We never treated gusts like this. I have never been more embarrassed in my life.

There is nothing good about this s**t hole. Not only was there mouse terds in the room but there was drugs/paraphernalia in the room. When we contacted the front desk the so called manager, Aubrey Winters, was very rude & disrespectful. He called me a liar & tried blaming us. When we asked 4 a discount, he tried telling us that wasn't possible & we needed 2 leave. We had paid 3 days before hand. Very horrible experience!

Was in a tough spot and ended up here with my fiancee. It was a nice room with wonderful staff. The security guard was nice, helpful and friendly. The registry clerk was also very helpful, friendly and courteous. Thought some of the tenants were a little on the "rough side" I would recommend this motel. When we walked in we were met with cheerful faces and a very welcoming atmosphere.

We got to the hotel, and during check in we were greeted with attitude for reasons unknown, as we were nothing but pleasant in the beginning. After getting in to the room I attempted to wash a bottle for my daughter, and after ten minutes of messing with the faucet I realized hot water was not going to come out. The maintenance man was quick to arrive and was very friendly and quick. We finally settled in and thought it might not be too bad of a stay after all, until moving one of our bags the next morning and a cockaroach darting out. We soon after watched another crawl in from the adjoining door to the room next to us. When we spoke to the front desk about the issue, they seemed far from concerned (as if they knew about it already) I called in to motel 6 customer service to see what to do about disinfecting our belongings. They apologized and offered a refund, but while checking out we were only given back half of a day's worth. Not half the stay, half of a day. I quickly reminded the hotel that by law they are required to provide a clean and safe environment to guests, and cockaroach was are listed as unclean. They then provided us with a full refund and we were on our way. For your own peace of mind pay a little extra elsewhere. Bugs and attitude from employees make for an awful stay. (I do want to mention that the maintenance men were both very friendly and apologetic)

Do not use this motel. The staff is inconsiderate and rude. Was locked out of my room with no shoes on and in my pajamas by a security guard over a misunderstanding with the room, which was never fully explained to me. I was disrespected by every member of the staff and security, despite being a paying customer. There is much better hotels in the area for the same price, I recommend visiting those.

I love this Motel 6. The emloyees are always helpful and nice. We always stay at this one when we need to get a room locally. It's not the closest one to us, but is worth the extra miles. Absolutely love the fact that Motel 6 allows dogs. We always stay in them when we travel with our animals.
