Enjoyed my stay. Good service. An great employees. Room an amenities were clean an great.

I would like to extend a review to say that while the property is old and slightly outdated, I absolutely thought the staff was amazing. Christina the night time desk clerk, and the day time manager were just awesome. Anything I needed, or required help with they were so attentive, and I felt they truly cared. Thank you for your care and the professionalism you extended to me.

It was a nice hotel and all the employees were friendly. However our bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. It went away by the morning but it was still bad. Otherwise good location to hop on the highways.

This is a terrible place, a friend of mine chose to stay here and he could never get the Wi-Fi to work all the time. Plus one of the side entrance'key pad was broken the whole time he was there, (over a couple months) so like anyone could just walk in off the streets. Not safe at all. Beware!

Awesome location for quick access to the 17 freeway. The staff was able to address all of the issues we had with our stay/room. Our room had 2 double beds an adequate bathroom and small kitchenette area, but only 1 small table and 1 chair for 4 people to dine at so we had to use the beds as chairs. For breakfast they served up a coffee bar and granola bars which was perfect for us. We had to resign into the free internet everyday unless we purchased an internet package.

Price was reasonable for a last minute walk in, customer service was very friendly and the room very clean.

This is the only hotel which has fully furnished kitchen with affordable price. It is extremely helpful for all coupleswho has infants.

The room is nice enough, but trying to use the Internet is like experiencing a mini ice age, and the breakfast is a "coffee bar. " They do not even have cold cereal! It has a kitchen, so I could cook my own breakfast if I did not mind being late for my appointment.

Rooms are updated and modern with a cozy twist. Breakfast is a bit lack luster but the office staff was quick and attentive.

The service was wonderful here. All of the staff was friendly and very helpful. But it is only 3 's. The first issue I came when my Dad booked the room through Expedia. And when we arrived they didn't have the room we had reserved. They only had one room available that has one bed instead of the two beds we had reserved. The manager was very nice and gave us a Major discount on our 5 night stay. Which was the only reason we didn't change hotels. We ordered a cot, which we had to wait a couple of hours for. But the mattress was all coils and was wrapped in protective (and noisey) plastic So Dad and I had to share the one bed, because the cot was rather gross and useless. They did have a kitchenette, but you had to check out your coffee maker (which was brand new, still in it's plastic wrap), utensils, pots and pans. In our bundle we only got one pot and no pan. We were also missing a spatula, so cooking ended up being quite awkward. The lazy chair in the room elevated for your legs, but refused to stay closed, so it took up twice the space. The TV was small with limited cable and no channel guide. It's a non-smoking hotel, so there's absolutely smoking rooms available at all, and no smoking spot inside. Which meant that I had to go outside at all hours. The later into the night it got the creepier the people outside became. It was an obvious drug haven. All in all it was a case of 'you get what you pay for'. And only the service added two extra stars.

Fairly mediocre, no breakfast or any amenities. Rooms and service are lacklustre. Only stayed for the kitchenette.

This place is very run down. Meth heads living in the rooms, late night staff who do not care about their job or providing customer service. You have to track down the front desk person to get into your room. Shady people in parking lots at night, lobby wreaks of marijuana. If you are traveling for work and you are a man you will be ok, if you are female traveling alone or have children I would HIGHLY suggest avoiding it! Not safe, sketchy! Avoid it! The area the hotel is in used to be a nice part of Phoenix but isn’t now. If you have a family stay further north on carefree hwy or in Anthem!

I enjoy staying in the Extended Stay Americas… nice folks and helpful people. Locations near hospitals which is nice and convenient. Kitchenetts in rooms make it easier if you're wanting to save on good costs or dieting! Clean rooms is a plus also.

The state of the rooms is good. The staff are very helpful and friendly but you need to request for kitchen supplies which I have never had to do before but that was just an odd thing for me. Also there are no hangers in the closet which was also a little odd but that may just be how they operate. The maintenance crew need to stay on top of the garbage cans around the building as on stairwell had an over flowing garbage can at the bottom of the stairs that made the entire stairwell smell like someone had used the space for a toilet. The beds are serviceable but not really my style. The layout of the room does not lend itself well to allow one person to work at the small desk/table in the room and anyone else to sleep. As far as amenities there isn't a lot within walking distance but there is good food and shopping options a short drive away.

Worst hotel I've been to EVER! I would have never imagined it to be tbat horrible. ONLY good thing was the hot water in the shower. Other then that. Thumbs down. It was dirty, smelt, Not a Complimentary breakfast (which is why I chose this place because I had my two kids with me) no option for them for breakfast or drinks even. They told me the door closest to my room did not work but it did perfectly fine; Which caused me to have to walk further then necessary. Two days after someone called me to ask how the stay was And I told her and they did nothing. I would never return nor recommend this place to anyone.

I used to like staying here, the last time I stayed though I had a horrible experience with the service. My room didn't even have a shower curtain. When I went down to the desk to tell the guy he was sarcastic asking me what happened to it when I had just checked in. It took him almost minutes to find me a shower curtain then just handed it to me to install myself. Never even once apologized for the inconvenience or offer to install it for me. I have never before had to install my own shower curtain at a hotel. Nope… Just nope!

Room was clean, could have used a lil paint but that doesn't really bother me. Did have to switch rooms due to some plumbing issues. But they get me swapped over no problem. Would def stay there again.

I decided to stay there because of the value and I had stayed at other Extended Stay Americas hotels in other states in the past. The rate was very reasonable and one of the better ones in the area. I read the mixed reviews, however everyone has their own perception. It was very easy to check in, very easy to pay, and I ended up having to stay an extra night, and I was able to keep my room check out was ready for me in the morning, and every one of my needs have been met or taking care of. For example, I am disabled I need help with the doors to get my items inside AZ there were no handicap buttons to self open. The attendant kept them open patiently as I went back and forth to my car to get my items. Another thing, there aren't ice machines in the hotel so I inquired if there any ice and he said yes we have some pre-made and handed me some until I could have my drinks refrigerated by the morning.

Room was clean and nice. Hotel is quiet and staff was super helpful.

Decent rate, but the room was less than clean. Old food stuck on table, bubble gum stuck to the remote, and the bathroom was disgusting.

Helpful staff. Drive up rate for single room is 393/week if you do weekly. Feels safe. Laundry on-site, all machines work, $2.00 per wash, $2.00 per dry. You will need quarters. TV is 32 or 37 LCD and the channel selection is mediocre at best. The free Wi-Fi is basically. 75 mbs down which is barely good enough to stream but I was able to stream HD netflix and Hulu and You Tube without any issue. You can pay 14.99 week to get 2 mbs down speed or 19.99 for month of 2 mbs. If you like but I think it would be a waste. Test your streaming first before paying that. Bathrooms have a tub/shower. Good closet space. Has been quiet mostly. Walls are a bit thin as someone talking somewhat loud can almost be clearly heard, fortunately the people staying here have all had some common respect for each other. Plent of parking and its well lit.

Location is good, rooms were clean, the dishes we received were dirty however and had to be rewashed, no pool and the Internet service is subpar.

Visited extended stay to hang out with some friends who are staying there on business. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

Upon entring my room the conforter had what appeared to be freshly dried blood spots on it right in front of where the pillows had been placed. There was no possible way the housekeeper did not see it. I took the conforter to the front and the guest service agent blamed it on a new housekeeper. My room was scheduled to be cleaned on Thursday, but wasn't with no explination. They assured me it would be done on Friday. I arrived back to my room on Friday to still an uncleaned room. I went to inquire why I did not recieve housekeeping again, I was greeted with "the housekeeper is supposed to call you and let you know. " I find this to be a very unprofessional approach to customer service. The free internet is not worth logging into, if you choose to pay you can get up to a blazing 2 mb connection. In general the room was not very clean when I checked in. The staff is not very accommodating. If I was paying for the room myself I would have packed my bags and went somewhere else. I would not recommend this to anyone unless your truly desperate.

My wife and I had made reservations at the Extended Stay Deer Valley location for the period of March 26th to 29th. When we checked in the rooms were not ready but they would be ready in 1 to 1 1/2 hours. OK, no problem with that. 3 hours later they call that the room is ready but the room is not ready for the friend of ours who is traveling with us. We get to the room to unpack and find a bag of garbage outside our door. Wouldn't have been so bad except that it stayed outside our door until the next afternoon. Upon entering the room and unpacking we found old food from the previous guests in the cabinets, trash under the bed, and a disgusting amount of hair in the tub/shower. I thought that this may have just been our room that had the poor housekeeping. Our friend who had been staying on the same floor informed me that he had found sprite cans and pizza slices under his bed. Last year we stayed at the Extended Stay in North Scottsdale and enjoyed our stay with no problems. We had voiced our concerns with the room and told that the manager would contact us. It's three days later and not a call or email, I guess that it's no big deal since they already have my money. If this is an indication of how Extended Stay treats guests, especially loyal guests who had made it a point to stay at Extended Stays, and if this is what we can expect the future rooms to look like than you have lost a few customers.

It is as gross as a Motel 6! Infested full of Shady low life type people.

This place is fine but I really have come to hate Extended Stay's new policy of having to check out everything and anything for the front desk. Silverware, dishes, hair dryer. If you're staying for a few weeks, it's probably fine. But if you're coming in late at night for only one day, you're tired and hungry, the last thing you want to do is go walk back to the front desk.

Great property but LOUD if your room is on the west side of the building. There is a motorcycle mechanics school nearby and 27th Avenue is the access route to the 101 on-ramps so late afternoons expect the thundering herd of iron ponies.

I stayed there for two weeks with my girlfriend, we were on the ground floor. Never had any sort of problem, every service near, price is low, bed and everything good quality. The staff was professional and nice to us. Id return there for a long stay at any time.

If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, both fresh and stale, do not stay here. Reception told me that all of the rooms on the top floor are smoking rooms. My 2nd floor room was "Non Smoking, " it reeked of smoke and whatever chemical was used to mask it. There were cigarette burn marks on the side of the tub.

Two things that were pleasant. The staff and the television. Everything else seemed like a homeless shelter. The beds were hard and cheap and had big stains on the box springs, the fridge was broken, no shampoo, no lotion, no housekeeping, no swimming pool or any amenities. To me, this place was a dump. If you want one notch up from a homeless shelter, you will feel right at home here.

All the staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful. Rooms could better maintained we had a broken chair, and one if the burners on the stove didn't work, but they were repaired and replaced quickly.
