Been to the restaurant only, it was great. Very good service and food was great.

Spartan wanted. It is possible to live, the Cantor does not work, the towel is paid, breakfasts are weak.

Rooms were good. View of the busy street below from the balcony on the 4th floor. Breakfast buffet was very average. Great location. Close to all main tourists attractions. Tram runs right out the front so easily accessible.

Noisy, indifference, broken bed, net booking 49 tl real in house is 60 tl. Minimum.

The hotel itself is very good/basic, but had a lot of noise issues due to highway maintenance but we were not offered any form of compensation for this very loud disturbance, which began late in the evening till early hours in the morning. Our group of 7 (including a 6month baby) were put in to separate rooms on separate floors which was also not helpful. We booked way in advance and still we had to move rooms once we arrived so our room wasn't reserved for us. We couldn't settle in to the room until the day after because didn't want to waste time unpacking and packing on a 4 night stay. The staff was polite but there is room for improvement.

The Best location and cozy place in Sultanahmet.

3 Stars for a 3 star hotel and not 4. It has a very good location but the rooms are not very well maintained. The bathroom was not top. Traces of moisture on the ceiling. Clean but little to be better. No view from the outside by the windows! The magnetic card was not working well. Sometimes it took 1 to 2 minutes to open the door. The reception is good. They're polite. Sometimes worries with hot water.

I liked the hotel. Proximity to all historically significant places that we wanted to visit (those who go, as well as us, to visit museums, take a museum map at once for 5 days, it includes visiting the main places, get significant savings on this). As a big plus-we went to all the museums early in the morning, there are no queues, and quietly all examined, but closer to dinner everywhere were huge queues. There is also a tram stop nearby. There is a lot of cafes around. And the hotel itself is a good restaurant. Breakfast, sickly reviews, did not want to take, but still took. Not disappointed. The hungry never left. The husband only lacked sausages or bacon, but said, and the omelette arranged it. Coffee is delicious. Hot water is available. Our room was 401-with a balcony. We also had enough space in the room. There is a closet for things, there is a place to put suitcases. Again near the shopping street Laleli-walking on which, we bought everything we wanted. And the prices are much lower than in Moscow, perhaps if we were looking for, we would find cheaper, but we were satisfied with the price-quality ratio, so we were pleased. By the way with itself on purchases it is better to take dollars, all prices in dollars. Again next to the hotel there are the ATMs Denise-Bank, we from our Sberbank card quietly filmed Turkish lira at the rate of the bank without a commission!

Hotel in the historical part of Istanbul. The location is great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plumbing, furniture-everything is pretty not new. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Bed not comfortable, we rented a family Suite 4 + 1 child, we had a room 3 + 1 child (you are explained that the child is gift) so he must sleep with 1adulte on beds at a place).
Breakfast expensive for what is proposed.

Great location and the room they gave me was nice.

This hotel is located right in the middle of a lot of sites, making it easy to get around and see all of the historical sites. The tram lines run right past the hotel, which makes it very easy to get to. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The room was okay, it could get a bit loud since it fronts onto a busy street and the tram line, however, it was not too bad once the windows were closed and the AC was on. The inside of the hotel itself was nice and quiet.

I stayed here in late 2015 and was sad to see the quality of the hotel has declined since then when I stayed in early dinner 2017. The cleanliness of hardware and quality of furnishings in the room was very poor. Hotel staff were as always very kind. Still a perfect location for exploring old city Istanbul!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Blue Mosque is 10 minutes walking or even less.

18Sep14 Very friendly and helpful check-in service at the front desk (ground floor). Super easy to find restaurants, Old Great Market, and shops from this hotel. Clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed and quiet.

It was an unbelievable experience, the place was super clean, staff were great, the view when you get to the terrace is breath-taking.

Thank you for the amazing stay! Spend two weeks at the hotel, and can surely say that everyday was a pleasure. Very helpful people and coworkers. It's very luxurious, and in the heart of the city. I don't usually write reviews, but this surely deserves one!

Please Reply to My Email (been 1 month! ) and I Want My Refund The receptionist, Russian lady Yulya, checked us in. At that time, my friend and I did not have cash to pay
for the room since you did not accept cards. Yulya said we could pay the next day.
Then she showed us the room which was in the building 7 mins away from your reception building. …
When she showed us the twin room, the room was way too different from the photos, the bathroom was not even private bathroom, and the room was in a flatshare meaning there were other people in the same area where we could hear their sound very clearly. Your receptionist admitted that the room was different from the photos and she showed us another room which differs from the photos as well. Then we asked if there were any hotels nearby and she replied yes.
And she said she would cancel the reservation for us which she didn't in the end.
More importantly, I tried to call you when I was still in Turkey.
The manger asked me to send him the email of what happened that day and I did. (since he said everything had to be dealt with via email)
But then he did not reply at all. Is this how you sort out the issues?

I came in December so it was fairly quiet, but if you come in the warm months there will surely be a large crowd. The terrace upstairs offers good views around and a good place to meet people. Located very well right off the Sultanhamet Tram stop, and very convenient to get to almost anywhere in Istanbul. Offers cheap breakfast, cheap ride to airport, and nice rooms with heat/ac and warm water for shower. Wifi is average. Hosts are very helpful, and informative. Great place to stay, especially for backpackers.

Near facilities and in the heart of tourism business quarter of old Istanbul. The hotel is fair enough for some one who wants to be close to the main attractive hot spots in Istanbul. Do not be surprised if you dont find gym or pool.

Old City Hostel is my best, I feel like am at my home and we are like family there, they have cleans Beds greatstaff (STAFFISGREAT) lol, and its a place where u can meet a friendly friends, and the great place I like there is the terass ohh really its a great place and great view of the BLUE MOSQUE, We really had very good time.
I hope comeback to istanbul soon, and suggest all people who wanna go to istanbul to go straight to Old City Hostel.

I liked a lot. I chose an entry which includes various specialties and a lamb dish. The portions are generous and refined at the same time. The framework is good too.

Friendly staff, great food.

Im going there after 9 days and it seems nice but im still confused by sultan ahmed or taksim.

Kind waiters, good was good but nothing special and no side dish served.
