The hotel was clean, rich breakfast buffet style, free Wi-Fi. It is close to the main objectives (10 min walk to Old City center where are the main objectives). There is also a terrace where you can eat and drink. I did not give 5 stars because I was not treated very carefully one evening when I served something on the terrace — a gentleman with white hair and glasses serving at the table was rude, unacceptable at such a level.

Cozy, beautiful rooms, chic location and view from the window, not from all the rooms of course, but I was lucky!
Breakfasts without frills, but tasteful, hungry will not remain.
One caveat — clarify about the early races meticulously!
To my request for an early arrival on the booking answered "yes of course" in the end waited 4 hours, because "there are no seats sorry. "
I understand that the fault is not the hotel but the individual, incompetent staff member, the overall impression of the hotel did not affect.

Lovely quaint hotel. A bit old building. Very friendly and helpful staff. Public transport nodes are nearby but not on same road, so please familiarise yourself with the surroundings. Sultan Ahmed is walking distance but an uphill 20 min walk. Fine during the day but not advisable at night.

Excellent authentic Turkish hotel. Great views of the ocean, Blue Mosque. Wonderful cuisine. Clean. Helpful, pleasant staff. A gem of the old city.

Hotel is nicely located within a 5 minutes walk to the Sultan Ahmet / Blue Mosque. The view from the restaurant terrace is great, towards the bosphorus and area of Sultan Ahmet / Blue Mosque. The rooms are a bit older but well enough maintained and cleaned. The bathroom door is a sliding glass door — which is neither sound nor smell proof… The restaurant has an open buffet with good quality food from 07:30 to 10:30 — external guests are welcome for a fee of 45TL (as of May 2018).

Very nice hotel located within close proximity to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and one of many shopping and dining districts. I was able to walk to the above mentioned attractions in 20 minutes.

Poor staff so rude not like the photos in internet! No shower spong and they didnt brought us any! The terras was closed! And very dirty! The whole expirience was negative… we checked out immidaitly and they didnt ask us why! They just wanted to take the money!

Great hotel, good location, not big but comfortable rooms with view. A superb restaurant terrace and a breakfast at the height. Also recommended for the excellent value for money.

The best hotel of its category in the ancient city and let's say one of the best hotel after the four season in this very nice area. It is a refined hotel decorated in the Ottoman style, end of empire. The grounds in the rooms are all handmade as well as in the lobby. The cleanliness and service are at the top, and the view from the covered and open terrace is the most fantastic of the ancient city. Breakfast, 100% natural products is superior to the classics of the largest 5 stars of the city.

Armada Hotel is a amazing hotel. Located Ahirkapi region. Ottoman style… High standard hotel. Helpful staff. Good food. Great terrace with Marmara sea view… Recommended…

Nice. Clean. Friendly. Excellent Location. A little quiet as in I came at a time where I was general Istambul is just quiet from tourists. I mean it as only a few tables filled over breakfast kind of thing.

All positive, apart from the Wifi that (for this) is really poor — to the point of not even being able to connect already from the first floor. Removed this, it is absolutely up to its four stars.

Armada Hotel is a uniq hotel where, it is close to the Old City as well as the Bosphorus. The owners of the hotel give a lot importance to the loca heritage and always sponsor local feativals. Armada's Cuisine is superb as well. Many places around tell they do "Ottoman" however Armada has real heritage menu. You definately should try the mixed Meze hot & cold tray; an unforgettable experience of the real authentic food.

Cosy lil hotel in the old Town with Ottoman style interiors, with a terrace restaurant overlooking the sea of marmara on one side and the blue mosque on the other. Easy access to all sights in sultanahmet. Short cab ride from Galata tower and taksim square. Easy access with metro too. Breakfast is good, but repetitive.

Cool hotel to stay in case you want to be close to the old city. The hotel still maintains the decor and style from the 60s so its totally different experience. The terrace restaurant at Armada has a wonderful view, overlooking the Bosporus and at the same time with a view of the Blue mosque.

Armada is one of the oldest and beautiful hotels in Istanbul. She has amazing view on rooftop and she is in a nice place. We dance tango every monday at Armada Hotel and the place is so nostalgic and comfortable for tango.

Good:You should chose the room with sea view. More quiet and you can see the sunrise in the room. The breakfast is good and you can sit in the Terrance to see the view of ocean or Mosque. Bad:The wall is not thick so, you can easily hear voice from next room. The room is not too big. Anyway, It's a old hotel but has been renovated so you still can see some old furniture which is still well kept. The price is reasonable.

4 well deserved stars, I enjoyed my stay there, especially the terrace where we took breakfast daily and had dinner the night we arrived while watching the snow fall over the bosphorus, amazing view!

Enjoyed my stay here. Situated at a walking distance from some very famous sites like Grand or covered Bazaar, Aya Sophia, Blue mosque. Having splendid view of Basphorus from here.

We were very satisfied, the Hotel was very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. The Restaurant on the terrace is excellent, the food as the view. The Breakfast buffet is absolutely to recommend. It is within walking distance to the main attractions. Price-performance is right here, absolutely agree. We have us felt very comfortable.

Excellent hotel, great location, fantastic view from the terrace, friendly and professional staff, no noise from other rooms, good Wi-Fi, very pleasant smell throughout the the hotel too. Dinner on the terrace was nice, not very expensive for European standards. Lots of choice for breakfast. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that, despite all the good things, I found the rates a little bit overpriced for a four star hotel, but still would stay here again and I can recommend it to everyone.

The hotel looks dated dinner poor, you only pay for the location, but once a year I know I can do.

The decoration of the rooms and the cleanliness are impeccable. Staff is available and care. The breakfast buffet is abundant and varied.

The restaurant has a beautiful view of the Blue Mosque and the Bosphorus. The menu presents all Turkish specialties and the quality of the food, especially the fish, is good.

Great hotel and great location. Very friendly Staff and rooms are always clean and tidy. The only drawback was at the restaurant, where we ordered a plate with modification and we were brought the dish as on the menu and also were brought three dishes out of four sorted.

This summer have visited you and it has been phenomenal, perhaps the, at least the first floor rooms are not as spectacular and they detract the environment.

We stayed at this hotel in November 2010 and we were positive from the hotel. Location is fantastic. And the breakfast buffet is very good. We had good weather we had breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice on the terrace. Blue Mosque and Haghia Sofia on the one hand the Marmaris sea on the other. We can certainly advise you this address.
