Good location. Very close to the tramp. Clean hotel with a friendly staff. Breakfast is just okay. Has all the amenities. Just in the night it's not peaceful due to various restaurants on the street below.

Small but very cute hotel at famous Sultan Ahmet district in Istanbul. Lovely room with excellent heating system. Ahmet was such a wonderful person and a great host there. Very much close to historical Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Truly a wonderful experience to be there. True value for money.

Very well situated in the old city. Clean and comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful.

Good quality price hotel in the middle of the old city, at 5' walking of important tourist sights. Small rooms and bathroom but you have all you could need. Breakfast included. (If intolerant to gluten or lactose, better ask). You may want to bring with you some earing taps; there are musical bars in the surroundings that could keep you awake if you want to sleep before midnight. Shuttle service from and to the airport at very good price.

Simply nice & cozy hotel with good location & service.

Staff are friendly, kind and helpful. Room is very clean and functional (AC worked properly, TV was easy to use, minibar was well stocked and working). Furniture and decor has been updated. Elevator goes to all floors. Breakfast is simple but easy to eat and helps to settle your stomach if you're adventurous with street food. The location is just off a main street and close to a tram stop. Walking late at night I felt safe in the immediate area. You'll be close to the main tourist areas and everything js walkable. There are nearby restaurants and corner stores for anything you need. For our stay, there were two Chinese restaurants next door and across the street if you need something familiar. The rooftop is accessible by a narrow staircase and provides a view of the blue mosque. There is a shuttle you can book from the front desk for a very affordable price but we didn't use it. You can get this place for around $50-60 a night and feels like a steal.

The location of the hotel is just great. You can walk to the Hagi Sophia, blue mosce and tell basilica zisterne in just a few minutes. The owner speaks great english and is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, modern and have a ac. Down the street are restaurants and bars.

The price is affordable but the electricity is little bad. The TV cannot be turned on, the lamp, and the AC as well.

I was comfortable and the environment was very welcoming. The weak point is the BREAKFAST they offer. Hard turkish bread may not go with many visitors. They must improve the menu. Management very friendly. Wish them luck.

Arife Sultan Hotel is in the perfect spot for visiting all the main sites in old Istanbul. You can walk in 5 minutes to the Blue mosque 10 to Topkapi and the bazaar. Not only that but the wonderful tram service stops almost outside the hotel. The rooms are small bur the AC works well a definite plus in August. If you are sensitive to noise ask for a room at the side as the front is on a very busy street. Wifi worked in the room well enough most of the time. The staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was included in the room price and had a good selection of cheeses salads meats eggs and pastries plus delicious yoghurt. Istanbul is a city everybody should visit an exhilarating mix of East and West with world class historical sites. It felt completely safe in the old city even in the bazaar. I am recommend this hotel.
