Really nice Hotel with a price-to-performance ratio. Rooms (Standard) are rather average and could not convince me. Food is very tasty and the staff very helpful. The beach and Pool are really gorgeous. The Restaurant and Lobby are very nicely designed and inviting. Update: We got a new room after we asked nicely for a change. Now, the room + bathroom is really top.

Loved it. Service outstanding. Food was good. Versatile and excellent entertainment. Just a lot of travelling when going out on excursions.

Very good. Most friendly staff. Food is excellent. Jambo Jambo is words most frequently used. And very one uses the Hakuna Matata phrase all day long.

Overall, everything is there, but of course, five stars this hotel does not pull.

Impeccable Staff, amazing location Sea Paradise, board excursions with Beach boy instead of the village, save a lot of money and treat you more than good. Never had a problem with them, as opposed to what they tell you in the welcome meeting. Council trip to Ston Town and the spice Jar. For the rest what about… I left my heart in Africa…

Great hotel, only one minus: paid Internet.

The village well-kept green and lush. Great location. Staff elegant. Restaurant good with pasta dishes, Italian. Evening shows. Beautiful phenomenon of low tide, amazing… the rock in the distance is a recommended jambo to all.

Beautiful place with good food and excellent service. Several pools nicely set up and accessible. The beach looks great but difficult to take advantage of due to the high-tide/low-tide situation. (At high tide the accessible water is impossible to walk on without shoes & at low tide the water is a couple hundred meters away.

A wonderfully hotel with service performance like, bar, restaurant, boutique, spa, rooms and other things for 3 star hotel needs to have.

Availability and courtesy of all the staff are one of the essential points of this Resort. The cottages are very comfortable mini apartments with air conditioning and mosquito nets on the bed. Although in reality there are not many mosquitoes and much less annoying than the Italian ones. The sea is often low and leaves the reef uncovered, but thanks to a long concrete walkway you can still get to the natural pools of the sea, where the water is very hot. Moreover, the Resort's swimming pool offers a pleasant refreshment on hot days (February 30 degrees abundant). Excellent Theviceroy to the inclusive service that allows you to have cocktails and drinks, even being comfortably to Bath in the pool.

It was good hotel the staff and management are so cool there live like a family it's my first time but I enjoyed alot.

Beautiful village in Zanzibar, ideal place to find tranquility. Fantastic sea, staff of the place very polite and helpful. I recommend it to anyone!

135 rooms from the cheapest with tropical garden views to the beachfront villa with private pool.
Recommended.

This is a large 5 star resort. It has many facilities, 3 pools, tennis courts, gym, spar and dive centre. There are two boutique shops on site and they have essential items and clothing. Great rooms, grand buffet every night, there are two or three other restaurants on site as well. There is a kiddies play area as well by one of the pools which the kids will love. Like I said this is a large resort. The staff are what make your stay magical, always attentive and always there to serve you, they make you feel like royalty and are absolutely fantastic. They have air conditioning and a backup generator so you don’t have to worry if the power goes out which does happen. If you are thinking of coming to Zanzibar then Karafuu is the ideal resort. I’ve been here 4 times now and each time I come it only gets better. Definitely come back again soon.

Nice hotel. Noy so fancy but the value for money is good. A lot of israellies in this hotel. Prices may be higher if ypu book from israellies travel agencies.

HORRIBLE HOTEL! the staff have sex in our room when we get outside! seriously don’t go there. People are horrible.

Great wonderful the best resort where he ate thanks to chef Michele. The animation guys Lorenzo and Mario really good and a greeting to all the staff are pole pole but really good.

Very nice and grand hotel. It has large green grass fields and a few swiming pools. Some of them have a in pool bar! The staff are very attentive and nice. I had some nice talks with the staff here. Amazing beaches and people. Their is a kosher restaurant here, which is very unusual in places like this. Enjoyed very much and would recommend easily.

Great facility. Clean rooms with air conditioning. Good buffet food. Very friendly staff. Beautiful sea with white sand and palm trees. Now at the beginning of November almost daily rain showers — still warm.

אחלה מקום, יפה, שקט, מקסים. הינו בחדר רגיל, החדר גדול ומרווח. מקלחת, שרותים ובידה. טלביזיה וכספת בכל חדר. שקי חשמל מתאים לשני פינים. כ 4 מסעדות במלון וחדר אוכל גדול. אפשר לאכול בכל מסעדה במלון אם אתם בהכל כלול, יש להזמין מקום יום מראש. אוכל סבבה. מי שלא מוצא מה לאכול כנראה מפונק יתר על המידה. תמיד יש פרות וירקות. על החוף תפגוש את המקומיים, חמודים משעשעים. אם רוצים לצאת לטייל מומלץ לעשות זאת דרך המקומיים על החוף, חוצה יותר זול ויותר כף. אנכנו טיילנו עם לוקס. גם עיסוי, עדיף ללכת למיריים על החוף ב10$ מאשר 50$ במלון, למי שחשוב גם המסביב ולא רק העיסוי שיעשה במלון.

Very nice hotel. Junior Suites right on the beach were classy. Food left little to be desired.

Large rooms, sanitary areas in need of renovation, good food. Clean pool area, beach is not cleaned, necessarily wear slippers also because of the sea urchins.

Accommodation and staff very good! Prices too high.

The first impression when you get to the hotel is very good, the exteriors very cared for and the treatment of the staff good.
We were going with half board and the buffet both for breakfast and for dinner was excellent plus there was show every night.
Buts:
• The Wi-Fi was paid, $10 each day, and if you wanted to connect more than one device they made you pay $10 more per appliance.
• The water was only provided for free the first day, then it must be paid and it is forbidden to enter beverages from the outside, control the guards of the entrance door.
• Cleanliness in the rooms is very fair.
• If you want to pay with a card you are implanted a 5% surcharge on payment.
• Now that the most genuine of the enclosure is that to clean the apartments use the pool water, no comments.
We were only by circumstances of the trip a couple of days but for those who are interested in visiting Zamzibar I recommend an effort and hire hotels like the Melia Zanzibar or the Gold Zanzibar with all inclusive.

Food good, comfort good, etc. That can be expected; But the great atmosphere among the staff was outstanding; Everyone realizes that he is happy to work.

Not tge best servis. Pools are nice if you want to go to the beach you have to go to a diffrent one. Food in the dining room is not good, but fine. In tge resturant is good.

Very slow. Unfriendly. The service provided does not correspond to that of a five-star hotel. The bedding smells bad, they do not have at your disposal a blanket for the bed in case you are cold, just the sheet.
There is no Wi-Fi free service, you have to pay $10 a day if you want to connect.
They don't put mineral water in your room or wash your mouth safely.
The outside gives the Pego, but the interior leaves enough to be desired, charge for everything.

Great place to go and have the best vacation. But don't take the tours from the hotel.

In November 2016, The place and the people of the hotel at the top, Abdullah in particular. The food is not bad… the rooms charming. Several restaurants : appreciable. I recommend the breakfast at the little restaurant, not the big. Shows every evening : the performers are really into it. We were expecting the hotel to be smaller, with fewer tourists.

Good hotel, far price. Didn't gave 5 Stars only because room's hygiene and its cleaning, which was good but not fully satisfied.

The hotel has a great view of the ocean. The rooms are cozy and warm, and the dining service is great.

Amazing view of the east beach! try to get a room as close as possible to the water far from stone town — you need a 50$ taxi.

We are just here in the Karafuu Zanzibar. It is beautiful. The food is delicious and Varied. The Pools are very well maintained. The rooms are clean and with love maintained. The Service is Top. The Hotel plant is maintained every day and more and more improved. The only Minus of the beach area that could be from the algae cleaned up. Otherwise, everything Top.

All the houses are a bit run down, e. G. The showerheads keep falling off and the power sockets are open. With that they're also playing the most annoying music 24/7 at the pool with the hope that you get so annoyed about that that you won't notice the other things.

The food was disapointing, and so was the cleaning of the rooms. Nice view and big rooms /houses.

Great atmosphere, easy access to most of the main attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there's no where to eat near by (except for The Rock) so I would suggest to have a full board :)

This place is heaven. Great location, amazing beaches, friendly staff. We had the best vacation :)

All well and fine, but
Swimming is impossible: the coral beach, very traumatic, no rescue. Even in Russia in such places, put a sign "Swimming prohibited. " Smashed finger in several places the blood had an injured arm and leg. If You take not AI, will you be dining in a cafe, which serves much worse than the main restaurant and outside the hotel 19th century. When I got sick in all the hotel was not a thermometer.

Great hotel! Great and helpful staff! The vast territory and own an authentic village!
