If you're touring northern Tanzania in a rented 4x4, choosing accommodation with an enclosed, 24/7 guarded parking lot behind secure gates is a top priority. If you plan to pull in after sunset, check ahead of time that there's plenty of turning room in the courtyard for a larger vehicle. Before booking, read through the property description and ask the front desk about their overnight parking rules.
Such an amazing place to start our Tanzania visit. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, they taught us many Swahili words and phrases. The food, rooms, special events were app perfect!
