We spent three nighzts at Under the Shade as we began our 2026 12-day safari in Tanzania and this is our fourth or fifth time at this lodge. I have lost track.

The gardens and the forestry experience was amazing. The team is fantastic and very highly hospitable. Beautiful in every respect! The rooms are lovely; spacious, beautifully appointed and clean.

We have stayed for only 1 night and although there was a powercut during the day, the expirience was good.
Room — The room was nice a clean.

I can’t sing the praises enough. Amazing experience. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, fabulous room and amenities, delicious food. Ameth was so sweet and helpful, as was the whole staff.

Room we had was clean and had air conditioning. Comfortable bed, only downside was the bed was against the wall, not great for a double.

We spend the weekend at Milimani Lodge very special for us impeccable clean, very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, stunning views. All the staff very friendly especially Anneth.

The hotel is in a good location, very safe, with convenient transportation, and a quiet environment. The room is large and clean. It also has a kitchen, living room, and balcony.

Me and some other volunteers came to Arusha to join a 2-day safari. The night before and after the safari we were able to stay at the White House hostel and were very pleased.

Warm and welcoming hostel with awesome facilities. The breakfast is delicious too, so every day starts out on positive note. Would highly recommend to stay here!

Best place to stay in Arusha. The rooms are spacious, very clean and hot hater 24/7. The staff are polite and very fast. The views are scenic and the pool is clean and big.

Peaceful place to relax by the pool or in the high end restaurant. Great views across Arusha. Very pleasant staff on hand made an enjoyable friendly atmosphere.

We stay on this hotel with different locations but we are really love the both place. The one in Karatu was 100% perfect, food, service, rooms even atmosphere out side.

For the few days of my stay at the hotel, I received exceptional service. The rooms were great. What I loved most was how well we were served at the restaurant, top notch 💯.

I just ate there while waiting for a friends and I loved them fish finger.

Very quiet and clean the host is welcoming peace very private because the take in few people also you take the whole house.

A great hotel just off of the main road in Arusha. We had the family room and it was very spacious. The food and service was impeccable.

The place is run by a kind and helpful gentleman… He can also organise your hikes, tours and mountaineering. That's his forte.

The owner Ibraim is very nice person, help me to organize my safari with my friends at really good price.

As we drove through the gates, we were welcomed by giraffes, elands, zebras, and the antelope family—what a spectacular sight!

Very nice, peacefully and quiet accommodation in Njiro, beside the main road, few meters from East African road, junction to Kilimanjaro airport, Nairobi or city center.

We stayed only one night — but an amazing place. Irene was amazing helping us when an accident needed a hospital visit. Service is excellent. The grounds wonderful.

The place is nice. Service is perfect but the food is not that good. Rooms are clean and comfy.

My favorite place to stay is the Kahawa Lodge in Arusha Tanzania Africa!

Kahawa House is a real gem — great staff, wonderful hotel, great food and reasonably priced. I stayed on a one-night business trip and will certainly be back in the future, with my family.
