We spent three nighzts at Under the Shade as we began our 2026 12-day safari in Tanzania and this is our fourth or fifth time at this lodge. I have lost track.

The gardens and the forestry experience was amazing. The team is fantastic and very highly hospitable. Beautiful in every respect! The rooms are lovely; spacious, beautifully appointed and clean.

We have stayed for only 1 night and although there was a powercut during the day, the expirience was good.
Room — The room was nice a clean.

I can’t sing the praises enough. Amazing experience. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, fabulous room and amenities, delicious food. Ameth was so sweet and helpful, as was the whole staff.

Room we had was clean and had air conditioning. Comfortable bed, only downside was the bed was against the wall, not great for a double.

We spend the weekend at Milimani Lodge very special for us impeccable clean, very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, stunning views. All the staff very friendly especially Anneth.

The hotel is in a good location, very safe, with convenient transportation, and a quiet environment. The room is large and clean. It also has a kitchen, living room, and balcony.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.

As we drove through the gates, we were welcomed by giraffes, elands, zebras, and the antelope family—what a spectacular sight!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. Fred, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. He arranged our airport pickup and drop-off and was always happy to help with any questions we had.

I stayed at Didas Villa for around 2 weeks. Fred the owner is super reliable, kind, helpful, and trustworthy. He will help you with anything you need.

We stayed at Malkia Trees Lodge with my wife and the Lodge was fantastic. The Staff were very attentive and friendly. The rooms were very clean and welcoming.

Great hotel and larger than the other Serena hotel lodges. It is located on the rim of this enormous volcanic eruption that occurred over two million years ago.

Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking panoramic views of the Ngorongoro Crater that leave you in awe from the moment you arrive.

The location is close to the city center and is quiet through the day, however, at night there was a lot of noise mainly from barking dogs.

We stayed in mid January and this place was really beautiful with all of the plants and decorations! The hamburger I had for dinner and then breakfast the next morning was really good!

We were lucky enough to stay for two nights as part of our three day safari, which I also booked through the lodge. We had an amazing tented room looking out over the forest.

We had an amazing stay at Sanna Eco Lodge. The staff was fantastic! Always very welcoming and great service. Food also was a blessing, the chef cooks fresh products each day.
