Four Points Arusha was a clean and comfortable hotel, the manager at the restaurant Mr Hakkiadda was a very helpful host. The Restaurent itself has outside seating and the chef made us brilliant indian vegetarian food. Even the vegetarian lasagne was fabulous. Its a great idea to stopover and relax in Arusha for one night before we leave for safari to Serengeti the next day. We also visited Chemka Hot Springs in Arusha and had a great time.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Sheraton Arusha Hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. A special thank you to Jerry, who helped us coordinate our Airport Transfer & safari excursion with a highly recommended company everything was seamless and truly unforgettable.
The team was incredibly helpful in assisting us with exchanging bills so we had the right denominations to tip our drivers, which made a big difference and showed such genuine thoughtfulness.
What truly touched us was how the staff celebrated us during our anniversary and birthday trip. The extra care, attention, and kindness meant so much to us it was such a beautiful and emotional surprise 🥺.
Exceptional service, warm hospitality, and unforgettable memories. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Sheraton Arusha to anyone visiting Tanzania.

We artived here after more than 25 hours flying to arrive to Tanzania. We were exhausted and reach this hotel with extra comfortablebeds and clean rooms. Hot showers, super friendly staff and felicious food. Just what we needed before starting safaris. Really recommend this hotel. Restaurant was delicious, at dinner we tried african dishes and indian and everyone was delighted!
Breakfast buffet was superb!

We had a 2 night stay arriving very early in the morning. Unfortunately we had a long wait for our room but we’re offered free coffee/tea and snacks. It was a long walk to our room which was situated in a wing with corridors and stairs (no lift) but staff were always extremely helpful. Rooms were very spacious and well appointed and we had a lovely view of the pool and gardens.
Food was excellent with a good selection and staff were always very helpful.

Excellent hotel! We stayed here at the end of our Kilimanjaro/safari. There was no need to leave as the hotel had everything — pool, restaurants, bar with football on TV, spacious areas to lounge around and recover from our trek. The room were clean, comfortable beds, spacious showers. The food from the restaurant was pretty good, large portions, although it did take a while for our order to come out. I recommend going for the buffet instead.
The only issue I had was the husslers that would wait outside the hotel. It's not the hotel's fault but I think they could do more to deter them from standing right outside the hotel. As soon as we walked out, they were onto us, trying to sell us whatever. It's annoying!

We stayed at Four Points prior to our safari to have 2 rest days. Our stay was great — no need to leave the property! Great bar and restaurant that felt like you were at a resort. Very safe and the staff was very kind. Michael in the restaurant was extremely memorable and made our time great. Highly recommend!

We stayed here 2 nights prior to going on safari in Tanzania and it was the perfect hotel to unwind after a long flight and travel time.
Breakfast is great with lots of different options and the grounds are lovely with an outdoor bar area to enjoy a drink and a wood fired pizza.
Staff are extremely helpful and friendly and they really make the hotel what it is. One member of staff even helped us to get some more malaria tablets and other toiletries from the town, which was much appreciated!
I recommend this hotel for anyone stopping in Arusha!

We arrived around 8:30pm after a long day of flights and ride from JRO. We were given a room that was old, smelled musty and seemed to be ADA (shower door was removed, including hinges, but the space was still cut on the glass) without being disclosed. The toilet being so high is uncomfortable to sit on. This, with the fact that we are Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Members is not acceptable.
Some of the staff was wonderful while some, like the gentleman who checked us in, didn’t seem to care much.
Dinner buffet was ok, correct. Breakfast was better. So overall a disappointing first night in Africa.

My only complaint about this hotel was that I didn't get enough time to fully enjoy it! The front desk staff was so nice an accommodating (I ran out of toothpaste, and they hooked me up! ) and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious! It was conveniently located. We walked to a restaurant with no issues and felt plenty safe in this great little town.
The beds were plenty comfortable for resting our bones after our Kilimanjaro hike and they have a beautiful Tanzanite boutique right onsite which we also took advantage of.

Great hotel in Arusha formally knows as Arusha Hotel, one of the kind during that time… more than thirty years then. The hotel is well kept and maintained to meet today's customers' expectations. Simple design with a lot of architectural details in the inside. Located at the famous round about famously known as Clock Tower in Arusha. Everything in one place from the restaurant, bar, convenience store, some cultural Maasai stuff are available for people to choose and buy.
Next to the reception. Am still exploring this Great hotel, which is not seen if you haven't step your foot inside the hotel especially the backyard.

As an American who had never been to Arusha or Tanzania before, I was not sure what to expect when it came to accommodations. The Arusha Hotel was well-reviewed online and a Marriott brand hotel, so we thought it was the best option. The hotel far surpassed being just the best option. The hotel is a beautiful property that is newly updated. The staff was very personable and attentive. Our room was big and spacious, truly a bargain for typical hotel standards. We got room service, which they made for us even after the kitchen just closed. The food was above average for typical hotel standards. The best part of our stay was the breakfast spread in the morning. A large assortment of options and a beautiful deck to enjoy the start to your day. Will 100% be returning to this hotel next time I am in Arusha.

We stayed for 3 days. Very much enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet and dinner meals. Our room was clean and very spacious. Staff provided bottle water daily. We didn’t go to the pool but enjoyed the garden. The coffee bar had delicious coffee and we enjoyed sipping while sitting in their beautiful lobby. It is located on the central of downtown Arusha so close to shopping. Very pleasant experience, especially with the friendly staff. Hotel is a perfect place to begin or end your safari.

The grand dame of hotels in Arusha as it's oldest hotel, where comfort and service reign. This hotel was perfect for relaxing after Kilimanjaro, a safari and voyage to Zanzibar as the trip to Tanzania wound down. The proximity to the downtown area is perfect for those who want to walk and experience Arusha. The grounds are beautiful with mature gardens and trees, creating a sense of being in a tropical paradise. The a la carte menu at the restaurant and bar have a nice variety of options for everyone, with several fabulous vegan and vegetarian options. The breakfast was the best experienced over stats at several hotels in Arusha during this trip. The onsite coffee shop is a nice feature with good coffee and within a 2 minute walk there are local coffee shops that are excellent as well. A well equipped fitness centre and pool are features I really enjoyed.

The hotel has fair ambience and well-designed interiors, but it is undeniably steeped in negative historical connotations rooted in colonialism.
Unfortunately, the service experience was deeply disappointing, particularly for my fellow Black guests. We encountered outright rudeness and discriminatory behavior from the front desk, maintenance and housekeeping teams. This kind of treatment clearly speaks to a systemic issue stemming from the management.
I would only probably but reluctantly recommend this hotel for business travelers who have minimal interaction with staff, this hotel might serve its purpose. However, for leisure stays or for those expecting respectful and inclusive hospitality, I would strongly advise against it.
That said, I want to highlight the exceptional professionalism of two waitstaff members, Joe Joel and Amina. They stood out for their kindness and exemplary service, a sentiment shared by 5+ people. Their contributions deserve recognition and a well-earned raise… favor to you!

Recently stayed at your hotel, the Four Points Sheraton by Marriott. While I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of your staff, I encountered several issues with the room that I feel need to be addressed.
Upon checking in, I noticed that the room appeared outdated, with visible mold and general wear. In the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was broken, causing the rolls to be on the floor. Additionally, the shower had good water pressure, but due to a hole in the door and a clogged drainage system, the bathroom would flood after short use.
In the bedroom, the bed was unstable because one of its legs had detached, causing it to lean. Maintenance responded promptly and decided to remove all the legs, placing the bed directly on the floor. Furthermore, there were numerous bugs present on the window and in the room.
Considering the room rate of over $200 for the night, I expected a higher standard of accommodation. While the staff’s service was exceptional, the condition of the property was disappointing and did not meet the standards associated with the Four Points by Sheraton brand.

Stayed there on 19 & 20th July 2025. Centrally located, spacious, comfortable, clean bedroom with well-appointed bath. Wonderful staff everywhere, reception, restaurant, housekeeping, security. Spacious restaurant with great buffet spreads for breakfast and dinner with lots of variety to suit all tastes, complimentary drinks, though the dessert options could be increased. We explored the nearby market for a good cafe and found it in Africafe, a short walk from our hotel.

I can only rave about my experience! I encountered the kindest staff here — from checkin, the restaurant, and housekeeping. The rooms were very clean (we stayed in three different ones as our itinerary brought us to and from Arusha throughout our trip. The airport transfers were convenient. Hombre guiding us through the city was perfect. Hands down one of my best, if not THE BEST, experiences with Marriott. Stark contrast to my stay at a Royalton in another country earlier this year.
