Great location. Clean. The room we stayed had a lovely balcony. The staffs are nice. There is a little working space and small library that you can use on the 2nd floor. It has an elevator. The hotel provide complimentary bus and tram card that is valid during our stay.

Small hotel comfortable for your holiday with good price and excellent service and staff.

Very clean and very vintage. The location was excellent. Nearby attractions. Two-day tickets for public transport are given as a gift, saving 13 francs.
The rooms are cramped but quiet and sleep beautifully. Breakfast is very good. The staff is helpful.

Super friendly and no-hassle atmosphere.

The hotel is very well located. They have a somewhat uncomfortable old elevator. You have to get off at reception from the first floor because the elevator does not have that control. The top floor doesn't get the elevator either. We touched a Abuardillada room with high windows that let in the light but you do not get to peek. For a day we were not served. The bathroom was small but valid. All clean. Breakfast with nothing to remember. No more.

Stayed here for 3 weeks and I liked it a lot. The hotel staff was very nice, rooms were clean, everything was OK.

Bern a very beautiful city, not overflowing, you can see and discover a lot. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Staff friendly and Nice, I stayed there very happy and really central and quiet location.

It's a miserable place. Although here it would be called "discreet". The rooms are tiny, the elevator still remember Lenin, however, as well as breakfast products.

TV has almost no channels. ARD, ZDF, Arte and SRF.

Clean and well located. The Mini room for 1 is no more than 120 CHF. The starting price is 200. — — is far too expensive. Breakfast OK.

Entourage, but full of kolhozon. 150 Fr. For a stupid layout, a modest buffet and there is a huge ladder on which feet get tired to go down/climb. There is an elevator between the flights of stairs. Often the connection falls off.

We were in the restaurant. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Were even passed with handshake. Like to eat there.

Friendly staff. Spartan Room Furnishings Economy room but for the price OK. The bathroom, however, is only for narrow-built guests, the bed is max 90 cm wide but cozy. The restaurant is recommended. All in all I would book again.

Very bin service and typical restaurant of the traditional Bern. We ate pretty well at very good account.

Theatre Hall really very nice. Just never buy a ticket for the front row on the gallery. So tight that as a first 65m woman I couldn't even sit straight.

Very clean and friendly staff easy to get information and directions walking distance to everything liked the brew house and restaurant at bear park walked down a couple flight of steps down to road where you walk along side river.

Good location, close to main station. The room was very small and old, the price very high for this room.

Very well-situated in the center of the city, within a few minutes' walk from the train station. I think the farthest attraction is the bear park, and that only takes about 28 minutes on foot. It has comfortable beds and individual, decent-sized bathrooms. Nevertheless, if you're a light-sleeper, be advised that the walls are rather thin, and the tram lines pass right in front of the hotel (however, they don't run all night ;) )

It is an old and classical and charming hotel. It is located near the Railway-station and close to the center. The Hirschengraben Tram Stop is right in front of the National Bern. Guests receive free public transportation around Bern. Hotel National Bern features a slow food restaurant serving seasonal specialties. A traditional Swiss breakfast with homemade jams is available each morning.

Charming hotel near Bern station, the rooms are all different due to the historical design, antique decoration and a fascinating historical passenger lift.

Sweet hotel in the center of Berne. Standard, clean rooms with a nice toilet and comfy beds. Friendly staff with even a refrigerated bar in the lobby. Slowest, prettiest elevator in town! Breakfast is okay to get some energy before doing some sightseeing.

Very clean room and wc. Very polite and frendly staff. Very near railway station and commercial center, many bus e tram stop near the hotel.

We enjoyed our overnight stay, we had an upgrade to our room, the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd thoroughly recommend a stay there.

The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from station Bern. The interior was classic, with a older style elevator. Checking was very quick, as was checking out the next morning. The breakfast had great coffee, a selection of drinks and self sliced bread, or pre sliced toast.

Nice theater that had a great atmosphere for our choir festival. Bar had great drinks and super nice staff. Can't say anything against it.

It's all about value, friendly service, location, and breakfast here. The breakfast was the absolute cherry on top! Fresh warm bread, fresh juice, and the list goes on. The room is a bit small, but again, the value was on par with the room. The separate bathroom was private and not shared which is a bonus.

It's not a luxurious hotel, but with a unique atmosphere… starting from the back elevator… excellent restaurant, great location. Swiss quality and cleanliness.

Not good value for money. We paid full price and got a backpackers room. Maybe this is the way that the Swiss live. It seemed low budget and we can only compare to similar price range hotels in Italy and France. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay there again.

Cheminée Shübli (Restaurant) : Very cozy with indoor fireplace, nice staff and absolutely delicious food.

Restaurant: In the past, I was the National past. Spontaneously I and a few friends to eat there reserved and were very positive surprised. The Restaurant was about A year ago, renovated and makes a bright and friendly impression. The operation was for Berner situation is very friendly and welcoming! A Blessing! Already while studying the map a lot of that behind the mostly Menus, the waiting time was specified. It's a good sign. This show however, from an absolutely fresh preparation. I took the Menu which consists of 3 courses. Since I do not like the Frutti di Mare I am, I was easily an alternative offered. The main course was very tasty, the Kalbssteak absolutely perfect to the point fried. The Dessert in the Form of a burnt cream was almost too much. However, I have never had such a fluffy "Brönnti cream! We were really very satisfied.

I was recently with my husband in the restaurant eating and we were shocked! The employees were rude and totally stressed. We had to wait a long time for our food, and I was under the impression that the staff were totally tired. Also we have noticed, that the employees in the kitchen or in the service heavily were yelled at and that is a no go! That should have otherwise not happen but still so that the guests get with it, that is not! The food itself was good, but we're going there not yet eat. We certainly do not support such operation.

This hotel is quite solid. Trying to maintain the charm of the old building. What succeeded m. E. Law well. (Lift, rooms) Who not 5 * star expectation regarding one * / * standard hotel rooms, shared bathroom, etc. Who can have a good time here it is located at scarce distance to Berne railway station/city. It is clean and the staff very helpful. There is Wi-Fi, I got a day-ticket for bus/train.

The hotel has an excellent location. Well, that's it! Rooms from the middle ages, no TV, no air conditioning, nothing. Shared bathroom is OK. All very outdated, and for this price class actually somewhat rude. After all, we were given a welcome drink and the hotel had a Wi-Fi (free of charge). The breakfast was also OK. Not recommend it but unless you need to due to a central location (which was the case with me).

Rude staff and long wait in the Restaurant: it Was ultimately a concert eat in the Restaurant. Staff was unfriendly and totally overwhelmed. Although several conditions were present, served only 1 Person, the other granted rather than guests to use. We had AGES to wait for our meals for although it is actually relatively quick to prepare. It would sit but a Minimum of 15 minutes under the heat lamp (saw directly to the hatch). The steak was delicious but the fries were suffering under the heat lamp. The Homemade Ketchup is not recommended.
