Modern funky style hotel. Bed was comfy but room was noisy — we could hear bathrooms from other rooms. Nothing in the rooms to soften it but that’s the style.

This is one Parador which offers tranquility and relaxation at the same time. Nestled in a small village with a view to remember. We love its location, the historic value.

We had a wonderful stay, the staff is very nice, the rooms are very comfortable and equipped. I recommend it since it is very central and very easy to walk around the city.

The place is unbelievably beautiful and calm. We went on a family trip with our toddler and had a great time in nature. The staff were very helpful and warm.

The pension is on a quiet street but it’s just a short walk away from the food street. The room was clean and neat. The view and sea breeze were exceptional.

Excellent experience at Pension Altair! Minimalistic space, but great value for the price in this expensive town.

It had a quiet, very clean room, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Had several electrical plugs, which was useful for charging phone and laptop. Wireless worked perfectly.

We had a wonderful four night stay at Villa Birdie. The owner, Blanca, made us feel at home from the very moment we arrived.

Spent one night here on my journey back to the UK. Like the owners, herself, the hotel is very chic. But be warned, it is more like staying at a friend's house, not a chain hotel.

Place was clean and as described. The building door sensor did not work a couple of times but assistance was quick enough and they manually opened it within 10mins.

The so-called 24/7 online reception isn’t actually true.

Wonderful apartment, close to beach in Gros. All services close by. It is very well equipped with 3 bedrooms and two baths. No AC but very nice ceiling and and well insulated. Highly recommend.

Stayed for three nights are really enjoyed our break. We were met on Sunday afternoon by the perfect receptionist, she was so chatty and informative and a great introduction to the area.

Amazing place to hang out with friends or family. The unbeatable location, 1 min from the beach, 3 from the cliffs with very cool route and landscapes and also close to Puerto Viejo.

The house is very nice, clean and the host kind and attentive. The house is close to the beach, and the metro. Also the shops are close. We spent a very pleasant holiday there.

Basic, friendly, bar downstairs, clean rooms, microwave oven and kettle available. Auchan supermarket walking distance away. Good stopover for single traveller.

A one-star pension comparable, even better, in many ways with a good three-star hotel.

The attention and goodwill of the owner is spectacular. The rooms are super complete, spotless and the general atmosphere is super calm.

If you want to live the experience of sleeping in a typical Euskadi house, this is your place. Its owners Jon and Rosa could not be more charming, nor could they make you feel more at home.

The site, the location, the service and Rosa's kindness are incredible. We have booked to go again, since the experience has been a 10! In addition to the good price, it includes breakfast.

Great choice for a stopover close to Bilboa but located in a lovely rural setting with stunning views of the countryside. The hotel itself was top notch.
