Lovely stay at the Gran Hotel Bilbao! We had our room looking at the canal and was super quiet at the same time! Staff was amazing, friendly, there to what we needed even above that!

Very nice hotel in Portugalete. Clean and nice room. We were lucky enough to get a room with a corner balcony and a stunning view over the water and the square.

Superb clean bright modern rooms just a few minutes walk from the beach, and not far from the old town.

Stopped for a night with my 2 dogs when travelling to southern Spain. Was superbly clean, smelled amazing!

Really nice hotel and restaurant in a lovely setting. Helpful and efficient staff. The last kilometer to the hotel is along quite narrow twisting roads but it is well worth the journey!

We had a really enjoyable stay here. The property is in a great location, with a short drive to San Sebastien and other towns.

Great stay here. The hotel is on the sea front, with terrific views of the bay. We did not have a sea view, but if I come again, I would pay the extra.

We stayed here for a week and it was wonderful! Ideal location as it's close to San Sebastian but in a quiet area surrounded by fields and orchards. The view from our room was spectacular.

Beautiful hotel located in a small town. Spent 2 nights here with a reservation for the hotel chef's dinner tasting menu and breakfast. This hotel goes above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Absolutely no complaints. This is a beautiful small period hotel, only a ten minute drive from the Motorway, into the hills…. Peace and quiet.

Perfect overnight stay before catching the ferry next day… highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was nice, room was good albeit small with basic amenities. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks in the room and coffee corner.

Great staff and professional service. Very compact room for two people. Next time we will probably get a bigger room with more space for two large luggage equipment and closet space.

Great stay at Leonardo hotel! The rooms were extremely clean. The staff was super accommodating when we decided to extend our stay.

We loved this location in a quiet area. It was a 15 minute walk to the theaters for the International Film Festival, but we enjoyed walking by the beach for this and being farther from the bars.

The location is perfect for walking around the city and getting down to the beach. There are several small places to eat and drink within minutes and its a short walk to the old town.

As a group of 6 friends we stayed at this hotel at the start of October. It was unanimously the best hotel any of us had stayed at in San Sebastián — indeed in Spain.

It had been a warm day the evening we arrived, and we found our interior-facing room extremely cold.

If you want to splurge on an upscale hotel in Spain, the best way to do it is to visit a small city like San Sebastian where 4 and 5 star hotels are competitively priced.

Comfortable, convenient, caring. We hit the jackpot when we found this gem of a hotel. Located at the heart of the old town, the hotel is very comfortable with great showers and beds.

Excellent location in the old town (Siete Calles). Staff is absolutely amazing, wonderful & overall truly helpful. The breakfast was fabulous. Don't go anywhere else for breakfast.

A great hotel 15 minutes walk from the city centre not recommended if you have walking difficulties as it’s on an incline.

I think this hotel offers great value. The rooms are clean, large and comfortable (including the bed! we slept really well).

A decent hotel in a good location for the sights. Chose it also as I wanted to avoid a gimmicky open bathroom!

This place is awesome! It feels like what hotels in 2025 should be: beautifully decorated, functionally and thoughtfully designed, buzzing and inviting. The roof top pool is amazing.

I liked everything about this hotel. Comfortable rooms and kind stuff. Also they have a nice garden with bar, it feels really cosy.

Breakfast has to be scheduled ahead with the reception and you be fit of table service in the morning.

The room we were in had a wonderful view to the city. Everything is within walking distance from the building.

A fantastic stay in the Tres Reyes hotel! Just checked out of the hotel this morning (booking done with my boyfriend name) and it was 3 perfect days.

Staff at check-in were lovely and very helpful. Loved the room key option on my phone. King size bedroom was so comfortable and we had 3 nights of deep, uninterrupted sleep.

The rooms are extremely spacious. Only downer was the telephone was not working and considering the room size the was very little storage and places to hang clothing.

The hotel is centrally located and all Bilbao attractions are within easy walking distance. Lovely room, but the view (overlooking a series of apartments) was a bit disappointing.

I have travelled a lot and I see a lot of hotels, but this one has something special. Verry good staff, fresh and good breakfast.

Excellent clean hotel, 20 minutes walk to town and 15 mins to bus station. Hotel is well run and has clean rooms. Breakfast offered plenty of options and fresh eggs and omelettes cooked to order.

Clean and good facilities. But the best is probably the service. Great staff everyone you meet is so service minded.
