Very good servicing and caring due to my quarantine Time in this hotel. The meals set very good. Whenever I need something they can supplier to me. Worth staying in this hotel. The joke is I washed the bathroom due to nobody is allowed to enter the room. 😂😂😂😂🎶🎶😎

Day 4 of my 14 Days SHN Quarantine. Overall experience have been good so far. Room is relatively comfortable and Food have been reasonable too.
Wi-Fi Connection is not that stable. The hotel staffs have been responsive to requests and there are daily call to check on my wellbeing. THANKS to the staffs for taking care of me. Hope the remaining 10 Days continue to be good.

Normally free Smart phone's are available, with which you can browse for free and make phone calls. You can even make calls to Germany free. At the moment, unfortunately not available as they are replaced by completely new models but who are not necessarily online all the time to be would like to has Wi-Fi free of charge, or you get a StarHub card. Staff is friendly and always responsive! Room service is also very good, as well as the food. Directly opposite, there is plenty to eat and very cheap! If man, the streets is right out of the Hotel along you will find many Restaurants in old buildings from the colonial time! Unahn is around the corner!

Indeed a comfortable and pampering week long stay which was made possible by the Front Office Manager; Peter Chua. He is friendly, prompt, accommodating and served with passion and smiles. Also specially arranged a room upgrade. The hotel has comprehensive facility, clean/neat room, and easily accessible to public transport including a nearby train station. Sure to be back again.

Had buffet at Plate restaurant on level 3, me and my friend got diarrhea after that. Not sure if anyone else has the same experience as us. I believe it should be the sashimi or oysters.

Getting hotels in Singapore is hard specially during tourist peak season. Fortunately, after jumping from one hotel to another, a room became available. 5 stars for this hotel, very positive, almost perfect. You can walk to shops, restaurants, offices. People are very disciplined, laws are strictly implemented. Very good! So if ever you come to Singapore, stay with Carlton Hotel Singapore and experience the best of Singapore hospitality.

I been traveling in and out of Singapore for more than 10 years and changed many hotels. I finally tried Carlton Hotel, and kept coming back there. Location is perfect. Customer care is excellent. Rooms are great. I haven't found anything wrong about thus hotel yet, and I am usually very critical.

It's an exceptional hotel. I really enjoyed the gym and pool. Rooms are nice sized but the bed is a bit hard for an American. Anyway the breakfast is pretty good but I expected a better selection. The people here are really nice and helpful. It's in a good location for shopping and dining. I will come back.

Went there for a meeting. Not much to comment about their service or function room, quite standard. I see some banquet staff who provide personalized service to the speaker, like serving him a cup of his favourite coffee every time without he has to ask. He speaker said he was appreciate the personal touch a lot. The buffet lunch spread at Mosaics was soso, not too impressive. I like the noodle bar, would be good if they can offer more than just 2 noodle menu each time.

Food options are well catered to with all sorts of eateries from local fares to international dining just a stone throw away. The rooms are big, spacious and very comfortable. Occasional wailing kids can be heard so I guess the walls or door might be a bit thin. But my stay was pleasant and my sleep was uninterrupted. Not sure if the rooms came with a safe cos I didn't see one, other wise it might be well hidden. The mini fridge is a little small. The pool and gym is kinda small. Otherwise quite a pleasant place to stay…

I stayed here for 4 weeks. The bed was great. The room was very nice. The breakfast buffet Included local and International foods and was good. The staff and services were all very high level. Located in Tanjong Pagar area. Across the street was a 24 hour food market. Also across the street were some great street food and restaurants. A short walk away was a hawker centre and Chinatown. Subway was a very short walk away and buses ran right outside. Concierge service was very helpful booking tours and giving directions.

It's really satisfying. You can see they already get a lot of praise from many big review names. I would like to recommend this to others. Never mind to stay here again if I go to Singapore again.

Wonderful and peaceful stay. The staff were efficient and friendly. Room was quiet and comfortable. Although, the bathroom window is a little bit of an over share for the more intimate of moments, once the blinds are found life is a little more pleasant.

Accompanied a friend who checked in. It was 6pm and my friend was told the room was not ready. It would take until 10pm due to many late checkouts that day. No one seemed to be interested to find a solution. Having no chance, we came back at 10pm, and they still had to check if the room was ready and left my friend waiting. Staff seemed completely uninterested. Would never recommend anyone staying there from the level of service that I observed. Something can go wrong, yes, but own it and try to make it better. Being uninterested is just sloppy.

Went for the dinner buffet at cafe mosaic to celebrate my mom's birthday and it was an an amazing experience. The selection of food they had was really really good, ranging from fresh seafood such as live shucked oysters, to a cheese plate. I highly recommend the seafood as well as the roast lamb. The service provided by the staff was also top notch. They promptly cleared any plates at our table and were very responsive to queries. Overall, it was a really good experience and I'll definitely be back.

Was at Cafe Mosaic for a lunch buffet. Variety was decent, with very efficient waiting staff. Somehow I find that the dishes are mostly to the sweeter side. Yes, even the savoury ones are much sweeter. The ambience was okay, you get to look out the windows and people watch during lunch. Located near City Hall MRT, it is very accessible to get to Carlton Hotel.

Very good hotel in central location with nice rooms. The shopping malls of Orchard Road as well as the restaurants, the waterfront promenade, the floating stadium and the Helix Bridge at Marina Bay are within walking distance. In the hotel everything, as expected, worked perfectly. Very quick check in and out, Buffett breakfast on good international level.

Stayed for 2 nights (not consecutively) in a span if 2 weeks. It wasn’t too bad. The amenities and service were quite good. Easy to get to and near esplanade and all. Food for room service was a bit lacking though. The seafood platter of sorts were a tad too dry, nonetheless it was quite tasty in the end, but given ifs price, I would expect it to be of better quality.

A very comfortable hotel in the centre of Singapore — relatively inexpensive and well.

Location is okay, there is a subway station just behind the hotel. Chinatown is within a few minutes, it is also a mall right next to the hotel, including food court and also 2 Fairprice supermarkets. The hotel is very nice, with a rather small outdoor pool and gym.

Relatively centrally located. There are several locations within walking distance. Chinatown is around the corner. Rooms are medium in size. The gym is very small and contains only the bare essentials.

Good hotel. On the other hand not very accommodating for late departures (wanted to charge us the price of one night by claiming 50% of the basic fare). Also unpleasant odors in the ventilation when returning u e in the evening without the possibility of opening the windows (tower)

Stayed here 4 nights. Cleanliness and friendliness are top rated. Service and location was perfect. Raffles City shopping mall across the road and also many restaurants. We will make this our hotel of choice every time we go to Singapore. Thank you Carlton for making us feel so welcome. P. S. The pillows in this hotel are so wonderful that I purchased two from the hotel to take home with me at half the price of shops.

Honestly not that impressive. Mold in the bathroom. A horrible breakfast buffet. Took 3 days of asking before they finally changed my bed sheets (after 3 weeks of not changing them). How do I know they didn't change them? Unmistakable stains on the sheets : (. The housekeeping staff seems to be lazy and inconsistent. After using silver/glassware they don't replace or clean it, just but it back in the same place (also after 3 weeks). If I didn't have to stay here because of my company's corporate policy/agreement with the hotel, than I absolutely would stay elsewhere. Hopefully when I report this to out management they will look to partner with a more professional hotel. Edit: they also refuse my request to stop putting laundry in individual plastic bags. They claim to be environmentally conscious (won't change bed linen) but waste plastic like it's nothing.

Was there for an company event. The staff service was not bad, assisted us with the setting up, however, it will be better if the team communicated well with one another on the respective event materials. We find that only the person who manages our account know about what we have contracted while the other who tried to help doesn't have much clue. The lunch buffet spread was good. I could manage to grab some nice hot food to spike my appetite as I was not well that day.

My clothe was disappeared in the room… It was just a plan white T-shirt, I guessed there was a high chance the housekeeping mixed up with all of white laundry stuff (bed sheets, towels etc) somehow. I reported to the front desk… But the front desk staff was not handling well… it seems she doesn’t much care… she said she checked with housekeeping and they didn’t find it… that was the end of her answer! Wow… I asked her what’s the meaning of customer’s item disappeared in the room… she just said she will inform to the manager… Even I didn’t hear ‘Sorry’ and there is no action made until now… it’s passed 24hr… Definitely the customer services is lack of hospitalities and not-well trained staffs…

Nice hotel and great location. The hotel provides you with a free mobile, which is quite helpful. Staff are nice and the seafood buffet is above the average. There is an open bar on the top and the night view is beautiful. The swimming pool is kids friendly. Both parents and little ones can enjoy the cool water. My wife and I with a little baby had a good time there. Cheers.

The Carlton is centrally located. Great option for Business or regular visit. Literally next door to raffles hotel and just a short 15min walk or 3 min cab ride to orchard road (shopping area). The rooms are clean and modern. The service is also exceptional.

Amazing first experience in Singapore.

Stayed in Premium Suite. At check-in, long queue with slow check in process. Room was pretty. Sound proofed. Amenities all accounted for. Housekeeper is very well mannered Buffet dinner is expensive at S$99++.

In addition to check in and so on relatively long, but lobby's receptionist from the spoken language and I say sorry is a very cozy move.
Bathroom dry and wet separation has bathtub, water pressure and temperature is not like the comment said, there is no problem, feel great. The TV in the room will show the welcome of the guest name sample. Surprisingly, the first time I saw a stapler at the hotel, the Echo needle was neat on the table in the room, and I felt very cozy about the solo travel of business travel (international sockets, of course, not to mention it).
There is also a free internet phone handy for use.
In addition to the minibar, the room also offers 3 flavors of capsule coffee, while the landscape on the upper floors is not a dazzling sands, but it also has a tranquil beauty. Convenient Transportation! Nearby Maxwell cooked food has a lot of gourmet CP value is very high (every day Hainan chicken rice …
), near and even late at night there are many restaurants and nightclubs open, very like! The disadvantage is that the hairdryer is more yangchun, there is only one international socket in the room.

Great hotel in downtown Singapore. Modern, clean and quiet. A short walk from great food areas and close to the MRT.

Pretty cozy and comfort building. However, it is not that either new nor luxurious if I compare to price. The location is good however because it is linked to everywhere as it is located at the end of Orchard Road and next to Little India, Chinatown and Marina Bay. Every place you can approach maximum in fifteen minutes. The appearance of this hotel is not that beautiful and gorgeous at all…

After a regular experience at arrival with cleanliness and some bad service, we were very strong with management and managed to get a really clean room and service on it's toes, making sure we had a great short stay in Singapore. The views in the upper floors are incredible and location unbeatable. Would stay again, but would really make sure to press for what you want in terms of service.

I had a good stay at this hotel. The room was clean and big enough. The staff was very nice, above all at the concierge. I think they should improve the breakfast that is a little bit poor in my opinion. Also the breakfast room is small.

Nice upscale hotel. New wing I'm told is better. Rooms are a bit compact. No roof top viewing or restaurant. Free handy in room had issue with charging. Kept asking for replacement but had a tough time on that. Plus we had booked Universal Studios through it so wanted to carry it with us but worried about the battery dying on it. Overall not a superb but just OK experience.

Had the dinner sea and grill buffet at Plate restaurant. The selection of seafood was good, had lobster, snow crab, oysters, mussles, clams, scallops, sashimi and more. There is cooked food on top as well. Would be better if the seafood were more fresh.

Staff is okay, but room and restaurant were so so. I got hotel at night and found out those 2 issues; no blind on window, unfinished mac shake.

O really enjoyed my stay at Carlton. The bed was really comfortable and I had a great view from my room. It's located across the street from a metro stop so that made it very easy to get around the city. There are also so many restaurants within walking distance. My favorite thing the hotel offered was a complementary smart phone. This made navigating the city stress free!

Calton Hotel is centrally located. There is a subway just next to the hotel. A big shopping centre just across the road. The ambience of the hotel is perfect for either a quick meet up or a nice lunch or beautiful dinner. Highly recommended.

A very professional and courteous staff in a sumptuous hotel. We were given an upgrade without even asking and received a spacious and extremely comfortable room with a spectular city view. The hotel is located in the middle of the city and central to most things. We found there was a very good underground system across the road in Raffles City — after walking 20 minutes in the tropical heat! We didn't use any of the facilities as we were only here briefly between flights but would wholeheartedly recommend the Carlton based on our experience.

Although its a 4star hotel, but the friendly staff, cleanliness, etiquettes of the hotel make you feel like its a five star. Stayed there for 3 nights and would have loved to stay more if my company had allowed me :P I was on a training. I would love to stay here again if I happen to visit Singapore again.

I had the Meat On Thursdays offer at Plate restaurant on the 3rd floor — ordered the ribeye steak and my wife had the rack of lamb, both medium rare, and they were cooked to perfection! Although they offered 3 different sauces to go with, it was delicious and juicy enough to go without any sauce. Kudos to the chef — a lot of restaurants tend to serve beef with medium doneness even though medium rare was ordered. The evening ended with some drinks at the rooftop bar — great atmosphere for a perfect chilli it after dinner! Will definitely come more often :)

The first time we walked into the hotel, we loved it directly. The big spacious high ceiling lobby with its modern fusion atmosphere really soothed our senses. Loved it! Kids love it! The staff were friendly.
Within walking distance, you'd reach the MRT station; very convinient even for foods and old market (lau pasat). Staying at Carlton was perfect for us. Carlton even prepared a handy mobile phone for us to us while staying there. We had everything we need
The room was fantastic. Big spacious bed room and also spacious bath room with bath tub and walk in shower. Just loved it. Last but not least, loved the city view through the large glass window inside our room!

Very good hotel, that's where I go down to every business trip. The breakfast buffet allows you to face any meeting that follows. And the pool to relax on the way home. Close to all trades and subway.

The Carlton City hotel is in a fantastic location. Lots of fantastic food near by. You are close to the train as well. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The rooms are lovely and beds very comforting. I would recommend staying here.

Near mrt station, opposite have a food centre and 24 hours supermarket, but the name of hotel is easy to make mistake with carlton hotel.

Staff were extremely helpful, organised a rental cycle for me, listened whilst I relayed my story about getting lost. Room superb, large with exceptional views. I don't usually do this but they were really that good. You have to use public transport to get to all the popular places.

Very convenient. Just few steps walk to the mrt station. A 24-hour opening supermarket is just opposite the hotel. The facilities are new and clean, service is quite good.

Service was far below what I would expect from a five star hotel. Had to call three times to get an extra blanket and was rudely treated the entire time. Asked for an extra half hour checkout time and was infirmed that they wouldn't accommodate. Toiletries were not replaced after use. Wi-Fi had to be resigned in every day, which was annoying. Hallway had weird smell. Breakfast isn't worth the price (poor selection and quality). Rooftop bar was small and had no great view. Check in was the only friendly staff member we encountered. Close to the metro.

Carlton is located in the middle of the city. It is very comfortable and very convenient when exploring the town. They have a taxi queue outside the hotel and a MRT close by. It is walking distance to the National museums and the shopping street. Recommended.

This is a great hotel. Friendly staff in all areas, the breakfast buffet is fantastic, with modern and sleek rooms. It is located downtown and close to MRT rail stations, and bus services from the airport will stop there. It's also close to Bugis, a market area that also has a proper shopping mall, giving you more choices. I highly recommend this hotel if you can afford it.

The room we got is in the renovated with. The interiors were plush. I loved the glass partition between the bathroom and the room. Perfect for honeymooners.

Wonderful room and facilities. However, the front desk staff are lacking the charm required for such a hotel as this. The bellmen were fantastic and attentive to our needs. One noticeable flaw was the dirty fingerprints on the white walls inside the room. If you stay here, keep in mind that this is not a budget hotel. Be prepared to pay high prices.

Hi, the rooms and location are great — hence this is the second time i've chosen to stay at the Carlton City hotel Singapore. Many positive things — modern, clean etc. My only negatives are: 1. The bathroom sink has poor water pressure and no cold water, (Shower is fine) 2. Your breakfast is really poor — bad quality and limited range of items compared to most other hotels in Singapore. 3. Poor club lounge — so I chose not to stay in a club room this time. 4. No recycling bins for newspapers and bottles/cans in bedrooms — why say you're an eco hotel then?!

The Carlton is a good hotel for a stopover just for a night or two. Its not quite in the heart of the CBD however the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station, Bras Basah CC2, is only a couple of minutes walk away. It is a very busy hotel, clean and tidy. We noticed there were lots of flight crews coming and going, specifically from Emirates. Before heading to the airport, for our flight back to New Zealand, we had a few hours spare. We checked out and asked if we could use the pool on the terrace. The very helpful staff suggested we leave our baggage with the front desk whilst we relaxed in the pool for a few hours until we were ready to depart.

I am feel disappointed and unsatisfied in Carlton hotel during Oct. 27~28th. When we checked out that Reception counter staff pale face to us without smile, does this is the way of service? Coming up that the guy sent the bill to me that he said there is an extra fee SGD19 for a movie. Holy~ what the old movie named “ All is Lost”. Absolutely, our $ 19 dollar is all LOST… The hotel TV screen is tricky, shows 4 menu, digital channel, movie, hotel intro. Hotel service. We clicked the box on movie menu, there nowhere shows any charge or free, there shows all listing movie program…On the time, we choose “ All is Lost” then there no any confirm or attesion box jump out words with cost, charge… (Damn~ $19 is been taken) The guys, just told us, the right top there is shows cost “19”…. Don’t we recognized the number? He stated and eyes glazed look at me. Wow, he is such rude, anyway, he caught and eat me without bone. Don’t try to be come back in this hotel. I suggest visitors in Sigapore must check whether your pocket is good enough deep.

Great quality/price. Hotel manager Augustine and his staff provided a warm and excellent customer service. Good location, close to shops and restaurant. Will certainly go back.

New and luxurious room. Easy access to restaurants and the MRT station. Very helpful and friendly staff. I stayed there twice, however, I did not have a chance to check out the bar and other facilities.

I love this hotel. It's clean, near the MRT station and also have a great view in the morning. I recommend this hotel if you go to Singapore.

For a relatively new 4-star hotel on the edge of the Central Business District, this hotel certainly met expectations. The hotel is well situated, the rooms have a modern, minimalist decor, and the staff was polite, friendly, and attentive. The amenities (pool, gym, and restaurants) really add value to the stay and are well maintained. Overall, I had no complaints during my stay and I would return for a future stay. *Tip: As other reviewers have mentioned, you may need to provide cab drivers a bit more information about the hotel's location, both because it is new (ish) and because there are other properties in Singapore with the same name. "Gopeng St off of Anson Rd, across from the Amara Hotel" always worked for me.

Great and feels like at 5 start hotel service and accomidation.

The staff is great and friendly. The place looks very new and modern. The room is decent sized and a nice view of the city. It's relatively close to everything else, so it's quite easy to get around. Lots of taxi coming by as well, which is very convenient to go. When you're getting there, make sure you let the taxi driver know that this is the new Carton City Hotel. There's another Carlton Hotel that's not too far away, but it's annoying to have the taxi driver taking you to the wrong spot.

A modern, luxury hotel with minimalist concept. I had a chance to stay there for 2 nights attending a Google Top Contributor event (Google's paying of course! ). The room feels very luxurious. And don't worry about bringing power adapter for your devices because they have a few slots with universal slot. Very convenient. Service is awesome. You can only go to your floor where your room is (need to swipe the card to use the elevator), so that increases security. There's an olympic size swimming pool (or close to it). The bed is convenient too. It all comes with a price of course, but if you can afford it I definitely recommend it. The location is close to mini markets and a grocery (just across the street), a short walk to the famous Maxwell Hawker Center, and a few nice restaurants and bars. Pretty close to financial district too.

Excellent location. Close to all attractions, a mere $5AUS got us to most places. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and well laid out. Reasonable price, will recommend to others.

I have stayed in this hotel during the new year. Beware of the front office Manager, Mr. Darren Tan. He ensures that your card is used twice and then creates a lot of issue while refunding. He is a fraud. I have complained against him. Yet to see the response. The desk service has been poor as per Carlton's standard, later I got an apology via mail. I would recommend visitors to take this as a last option to stay.

Very dissapointed with this hotel. First off the staff were not that friendly. I went with my mum and dad and the first time we went there we thought it would be a first class hotel until we ran into the really bad problems that the hotel was useless with fixing. On the first night we asked for a non smoking room on a non smoking floor. What do they do? They put us on the smoking floor! We ring them up and it takes not one but a couple of hours for them to send up a manager and some staff to move us into another room that is supposedly non smoking, acoording to the manager. Second night. The shower doesn't work and the plumber which takes about an hour to get to our room can't fix it. For the first time in my parents history they have had to move to two different rooms twice in one hotel. Final night. The last room they put us in may have been upsized by a couple of metres but wouldn't you know it? We wake up at 2am in the morning to smell cigarette smoke. My parents didn't even bother this time but we swore never to come to this place again. My dad though might need to stay there again though as his company only uses this hotel because it is conveniently located right next to his work building. Well that's it for this experience. I highly recommend that you choose not to stay here at all for whatever reason. The only real good thing was that is was nice, clean and very city-centred, as well as a nice pool and gym with okay dining.

Really helpful and professional staff! The rooms were great and Wi-Fi worked well. The breakfast buffet was really good and the room service menu is very extensive.

The hotel amenities and outlook are very new and clean. It was very pleasant to return to the hotel each time. Room (we had a deluxe king on the 24th floor) was clean and spacious. Not a fantastic view to look out to though. Television in the room had limited selection of "entertainment" channels; aside from FOX movies. The rest were either local channels or news/educational. Experience with the television was made further disappointing with the breakdown in the television program system (or so we were told). Imagine, wanting to retire to your room after dinner, hoping to relax on the bed and watch a few good shows. But to find a television that was not responding to the controls. Basically not able to broadcast anything at all. Not even the local channels. That was at about 8pm. The friend and I decided we should go out for entertainment. When we returned at about 1am, we approached the reception to check if the television is back in operation. Alas. "No. " Was the reply we received. How fantastic. It was. For TV junkies like us. What would we do without the television!?!?! After our shower and washing up, we tried the television at about 2am. To find it working. Hallelujah! And. I guess God decided it was time we should rest and sleep. The TV blanked out on us 15mins later. —. — All in all, we would certainly have enjoyed much more IF the television was working. Could the management look into the TV back-up systems? The staff could also do with more smiles.

Within walking distance of the financial district is Carlton City Hotel. This is a brand new hotel (or feels like one). Careful, taxis aren't quite familiar where it's located. Be ready to tell them it's at 1 Gopeng st. And not the Carlton Hotel (another district). This is a beautiful building that has a fresh, updated and chic feeling. The gorgeous chandelier in the lobby sets the stage for the rest of the hotel. The rooms are modern and accommodations very comfortable. It's outfitted with a pool and mini-gym that never was busy. The high rise bar is worth checking out for the views as well. The staff were extra accommodating, but one occasion I was misunderstood and given a 'yes' answer out of politeness. The front desk was pretty slow in servicing the line that was there for check in and check out as well. Other than this, I'd say everything went well.
