To whom it may concern, Today when I came out from second level to the main lobby of Orchid Hotel and bumped into a Malay staff named Zairodin working on 29Oct2020 at 245pm. Zairodin was quite stern when asking me where I came down from and did not ask me for my permission and charging me with the thermometer pointing at my head and commanding me to scan out when I just arrived at the lobby. And yes I came from the back door to do facial and exit from level 2 to the main lobby. But regardless what Zairodin do not need to force his way and pointing the thermometer at my forehead and talk to me sternly like a policeman commanding me. It was utterly unacceptable. It was just inappropriate as he has no greeting, no gentleness and friendliness towards guest and zero smile when talking to me. I can swear I was not rude to him at all nor did not step on his toes nor did I verbally abuse him the moment I arrived at the main lobby. I was agitated due to his rudeness towards me and all I did was I asked for his name but Zairodin kept covering his name tag and walked away from me and ignore me. Causing me to be even more agitated as he was not only rude but he refused to give me his name to write in a feedback on Zairodin.

We used to visits them at least 2-3 times a months for their porridge buffet until the started their renovation. They are finally open now and we tried their bento sets done by a new chef. The ordinary looks dishes were very tasty really! Love the flavourfully done 5-grain fried rice with Chinese sausage, prawn paste stir fried pork belly, and crispy sweet and sour pork, plus those exquisitely done dim sum. Love the newly renovated cafe which is cosy and done in one of my favourite colour themes. Check out their gorgeous views to Pinnacle at Duxton and the surroundings. It is great to be back at the old new place! ❤️

Good place in sgapore and good service.

I will definitely come back to this hotel again every time I visit Singapore. The hotel itself is small but clean and cozy. The staff very helpful and friendly. They ate very service minded in every level. The location is great-near train station, behind is local market, around are good reataurant. I love it here.

Location is very good and central. There are many Japanese restaurant around and many eating spaces. There is also an affordable hawker centre just across the street. Service is very good. Parking space is very limited though and carpark sensor is not sensitive. As there was an empty lot, but we were not able to get to go in as carpark said it was full. Have to improve on that. But overall was good.

Love the bed. It's so comfy. The hotel location is very convenience. Surrounded by eating places and walking distance to Chinatown and MRT. The hotel is clean and staff are friendly. Orchid Hotel is highly recommended.

One of the blandest hotels I've stayed in Singapore, Lobby resembles the foyer of an office building and room features beige tones… Offset by super convenient location, spacious rooms and efficient service. Popular with Koreans given all the Korean and Japanese restaurants in the street behind.

Comfortable rooms. Speedy check in/out. Good pool and gym.

Staff is great! Location is fantastic if you want to check out Chinatown Food Center or Maxwell Food Court. Only a 5-10 minute walk. Rooms are very clean.

I stayed here for two days. And hospitality is good. When I was there there pools were closed for maintenance. Apart from that every thing good. I got it in good deal.

Undoubtedly the best Location to stay. I stayed 10 to 13th may. The heart of city Orchard Road Shopping and food is walking. They have in-house mall, Bar, and taxi stand in just at the gate. Breakfast is delicious. Rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recommended.

Was here for a 2 days conference. Room was spacious, clean and nice view of the bustling Singapore city. Conference Hall was great, very clean and good atmosphere. Food was so so, not the most remomarable, but only because Singapore food is awesome. Overall will recommend this for overnight stay or holiday trip.

Large rooms and clean. Friendly staff and good service. Breakfast buffet was good and nice selectiond. Convenient location and easy access to MRT (transit/subway).

Nice older style rooms, meaning larger, quieter and this includes the bathroom. Check in and check out we text book fast. The staff also could direct is to the local chilli crab and anything else we needed. Located super close to stations and Chinatown and Maxwell Hawker Market, it's all good.

Didn't stay there, had dinner and lunch instead. Restaurant selection was excellent with great food and bars. Would recommend for small groups. Can get crowded during meal times.

Ate at the Japanese restaurant Teppei for lunch. Had the barachirashi don which was really good. There were generous portions of the shellfish and salmon. Will definitely recommend.

Nice hotel. Facilities were good. Everything you need is within walking distance, with the Tajong Pagar junction across the road and a supermarket and shopping centre down the road.

Customer service was excellent nice and kind. Helpful and explain every detail question asked.

Hotel located near various restaurants. You'll be able to easily find Japanese and Korean food. The hotel is also located close to a supermarket (NTUC) if you require groceries.

Fantastic atmosphere. Coupled with eateries and amenities all around the area. Very accessible via public transport as well.

Came to do a 1 hour deep tissue massage at the hotel, and the weather turned bad as I was about to leave. Hotel decided that I was an 'out-house guest' and refused to offer a simple umbrella gesture. Quoting the hotel concierge and front desk: "It's against the rules". If there was anyone who needs help regardless, the hotel staff has been trained to such a disgusting degree where help is refused as long as one is not an "in-house guest". The management should really take a look at your hotel. Absolutely disgusting.

Location is very good. 2mins go to the nearest metro station. In the financial district. Hotel and rooms are classically furnished but used to be. Bathroom refurbished but too little light to shave. Wi-Fi fast enough. Price/performance OK.

Service was impeccable. They really take care of the needs of guests and even managed a surprise for my wife and I.

Very helpful and polite staff. Great service they let me come back to have a shower before going to the airport at night after checking out at noon.

Very nice the sourranding area, behind Willich center. Many shops and good restaurants. The hotel is fine and the rooms are nice. Perhaps the room rates are a bit expensive if compared to others hotel.

Clean, quiet, with spacious room. Great location, extremely close to Subway (green line) and China Town. There're plenty of food choices around from Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Good service and fix problem promptly if you have any.

Does anyone actually stay here? There's a great selection of nearby restaurants and bars. The carpark is serviceable. That is all.

Great hoteal in a non too touristy area close to Chinatown. The room was clean & comfortable plus all the staff can't do enough to make your stay an enjoyable experience.

Within a few minutes walk from Tanjong Pagar station. Good variety of restaurants and cafes nearby. A must visit if you like Japanese cuisine.

Very accessible, near train station and bus stops. Alot of good food around the area.

All you need for good value, clean, friendly staff. Great location to discover Singapore. (Walking, if not to warm). Two food markets close by with broad variety of quality Asian food and drinks at very low prices. In the area of China town and in the midst of traditional area of small houses, nice bars and (a bit expensive) restaurants. Attention point: breakfast "Buffet". At $20, if you look for continental breakfast, better to look for the offers in the area. I will return.

There is a wide variety of choices when it comes to food. A lot of good food in the district. Never have to worry about going out with an empty stomach.

I never expected that Orchid's Hotel would satisy and impress me but I was wrong. The rooms are very cozy, clean and fantastic. It has a 5 star feel even if it is classified as 4 star. It was such a relaxing experience that I and the two kids with me didnt want to. Go out anymore but to lie down and rest. The free breakfast buffet was truly sumptuous. The swimming pool, gym and sauna were all amazing. The staff and the housekeepers were all congenial, warm and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and I will surely go back to this hotel. Oh another thing, they offer a free phone that you can bring outside for you to be able to call to anyone within Singapore. The Wi-Fi is strong. I love it.

Location good. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning quiet. Design outdated, bathroom with strange smell, we had no hot water for shower at night, elevator loud to hear in room, not enough electricity plugs for charging.

There's a constant food exhaust stench from the crowded Japanese restaurants. Hot and crammed and not worth to take up city space for such a poorly run building.

The location is great, food center and fair price are just around the corner. Maxwell is just 5~10min walk. MRT is just 2 min walk. Just a bit concern, as found the spoon a little bit dirty and there are small ants found in the room.

I liked the hotel, it's clean and in a great location.

Very close to Subway and centrally located, whether going to Orchard Road, Vivo City, Clark Quay or Sentosa.

Reasonable price, great location with swimming pool and near to the MRT station. The only best thing is many great ramen and Japanese food under the hotel. 房价很便宜，地点很好，有游泳池也靠近地铁。最棒的是楼下有很多超级无敌棒的拉面和日本料理！

Honestly, hygienic and tidy than the Sands of the poor, than Sentosa festive! Should not stay two nights in Sentosa, the misstep it!

Alongside this legendary hotel, there's a lot of Japanese restaurants e. G. Keisuke Tonkotsu King. Did not manage to try any of them as they are closed for CNY. : (sad but found a gem amongst these restaurants. It's the Two Blur Guys that serves burgers. Tried their portobello beef burger. OMG! The beef (ordered medium) is so juicy that oozes as the knife dips in. The burger is so flavorful. Got to try the other burgers next time ;).

A super well located in We walked to Chinatown and the surrounding areas of restaurants, drinks, food centers. Very elegant, the rooms very large and comfortable. Best impossible. The bathroom is very full. A hotel in which you feel very comfortable. It has a swimming pool. The service very good. A place that I would return for sure.

The swimming pool is wonderful.
