Great location and the Club lounge provides fantastic service, especially the chef, Judy, who went out of her way to cater for my wife’s dietary requirements due to her food allergies.

We arrived last night and everything is to our satisfaction. Breakfast was good. Service good. Room has everything we need.

Not really 5 star hotel at all … this price can stay others better hotel in singapore, so disappointed is my first time also my last time for this hotel stay!

Space at rooms are optimally arranged. Grateful of the inter-connecting rooms arranged for us. Thank you for bringing in an extra table to help all 5 of us do our work with greater ease. Love how the hotel supports the environment with small details like low lighting at pools/ roof garden. Great location.

Not too bad but not worth the money either. No view, rooms are dated despite being refurbished. Pool is small and service is basic. Did not light up the ‘ please make up room ‘ icon, but room was tidied up on two occasions. On a positive note, there is complimentary parking. Would like to compliment staff called Jing Mei in tablescape during breakfast serving. Good service!

We had our impromptu staycay and was given a free upgrade to junior suite. Room comes with steam bath and a balcony.

My daughter and I are staying in the hotel due to quarantine order for my daughter. They’ve been serving us the same food every breakfast. I’m not here to complain about the food. The food is free so I wouldn’t complain about it. Instead, I order food from outside to satisfy our palate. But today, I’m really upset! I asked them for a plain rice for my daughter coz I have food for my daughter and I just needed a plain rice. The operator said that she will check on it. It’s been an hour or so but no one got back to me so I’ve decided to order food for breakfast. 1006H, my food was marked delivered by the app but I didn’t receive it. 1130H came and I still haven’t had my food! I checked with the operator twice and and she said that the security didn’t receive any. I also contacted the school about this issue then I called the app’s customer service to complain about it. While I was on hold with the customer service from the app, suddenly my food came. It is very humiliating that I had to call the app’s customer service to complain about their service when it’s the hotel who is actually at fault! They lack of communication amongst their staff! It was a lousy day experience for us! My daughter had to eat her breakfast at 1200H! Very lousy service!

Fantastic location, good suze room, helpful and courteous staff… stayed in lots of hotels fior biz and leisure, Grand Park City Hall impressed us with their impeccable service. Keep it up guys. Cheers Joseph Foo

Nice great environment. Very nice room. Breakfast was awesome served by two super friendly service staffs (sorry… forget the name. Early 40s or late 40s, short hair with specs).
however, tried calling several times housekeeping no one answers the phone.
other than that all great.

Good & kids friendly pool layout.
Spacious room. Good service.

Of all the hotel groups, this is the worst ever. Complimentary late check out or hotel stay, just so we can experience this lousy process again? No thanks.

Not muslim friendly environment, their food not halal certified.

Hotel allows gathering of more then 8 pax in restaurant breakfast & food served are inedible.

It’s really good, bcz here everyone is verry helpful, and one more thing I am verry impressed, any problem just one call & very faster solve this problem.

We recently visited Grand Park City Hall for our honeymoon and couldn’t have chose a better hotel for the occasion. The junior suite was beautiful, clean, modern and spacious. The staff were always so polite, caring and helpful and overall we had such a fantastic stay! We would definitely recommend this hotel to others

We stayed in Grand Park City Hall last weekend. A family-friendly hotel with nice pool and big clean room. Staff were professional, accommodating and helpful. The front desk officer Ms Francisca assisted the smooth check in and ensure our request was delivered. During the breakfast time, Mr Azuan noticed I was with my girl; without asking: he already prepared the kid’s set for her. And not to forget the tasty omelette and smoothies that Chef Judy made for us! They are attentive & very customer focused, a big thanks to them! We really enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

My guest also received a pleasant surprise of a birthday cake which a little thought means so much.
Indeed it's a smart hotel with mobile applications to check in, control room'’s devices, etc: so easy and convenient to use. Also with comprehensive facilities with 24 hours gym and a swimming pool.
It is centrally located in the city which easily accessible to public transport including a nearby train station, museums and many & varied shopping malls and F & B outlets.
I am sure I will be back.

Had an. Amazing time here so central and easy to walk to alot of shopping centres, food halls and attractions. Staff went above and beyond and were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!

Amazing pool luxurious room and close to attractuons.

We loved every bit about it. The room was modern, beautiful, and comfortable. The service was impeccable! We got our room upgraded and they threw in free breakfast for our honeymoon. The breakfast was more than satisfactory! A lot of variety and quality food. The welcome free drinks were a nice touch, I’m so glad they let us use them as we on our way out instead because we checked in so late. They also have a hospitality room where you can shower and get changed before our flight, we loved that. We would DEFINITELY stay here again, and we recommend it to everyone!

Went to Mitzo for dinner. Staff were very hospitable, and the food was really great! We even got a free cake to celebrate a special occasion :)

Excellent 5 star. Heart of orchard Road straddling two metro stations. Modern, luxurious and well appointed rooms with all amenities. Excellent buffet breakfast spread with a range of international food items. The staff was courteous and helpful. If you are there to shop just step out of the hotel and Singapore shopping is at its doorstep.

Though it's not a luxury hotel but all their staff is very kind, sweet and efficient service. Let you feel as stay as yr own home. Specially is the gentleman to arrange the taxi named Vincent I love him so much. Certainly this hotel will be my first choice to stay when I visit Singapore next time. No matter it's location and lovely staff you should be tried to stay here.

Location is good. But this is the first time I can't check in at their stated time. Housekeeping is apparently not ready at 2. The reception is nice but it's just frustrating. Also, would be good if they have a proper queue system. The toilet is real spacious but the towel given has a bunch of hair stuck on it. A bit disgusting actually. Other than that, all other facilities are good.

Location, concierge and check in lobby were pretty good. Somehow felt that most of the price point went to its location as the room itself could really do better e. G. Fairly sparse furnishing and old TV model. Had to take another star off as the entire water lever in the bath fell off and missed my child's head by centimetres. Decent hotel, and can be better.

It is suppose to be an exclusive part of the city where you can chill and have a glass of wine witnessing the passing of a busy city and its people. Unfortunately when I went there it was sparrow season hence I can't listen to the music but all I see and hear is sparrows flying around. Despite that the ambiance is great. The price, well lets say you go there to feel exclusive.

Great location. Double room was clean and comfortable for a family of 3. Service staff was polite and professional. Pool was small but sheltered from the rain. Breakfast was disappointing though — not much variety and quality was average.

Always love to stay here. The location is the centre of orchard road. The room is good, fancy, but a bit small, we can use handy free of charge to get call to anywhere, free Wi-Fi too.

Location was great if you drive. You avoid most of the jam in the orchard road to get to the highway. And it's away from the hustle of the city. Hotel feels new although it's a few years old already.

I have stayed in GPO hotel many times. And unfortunately minor accident had happened this time (my own careless). I have dropped the shower handle directly on my toe and caused a wound. And I have to seek for medical attention. The staff and manager were super helpful. They have arrange transport for me to the clinic even though the clinic is just opposite the hotel. Then I have requested for rubber slipper since I only have a pair of sneaker. Told the manager I don’t mind paying for it because I was not able to walk out to buy. They went out to get the slipper for me and paid it for me. Second thing, the staff have not came to clean up my room until on the late evening. Then the manager came to my room and had offered me to the executive lounge and immediately get the staff to make up my room. And lastly the manager also extended my check out time because my flight is at night time. Thank you. Thank you for all the assistance! :)

I have stayed with this hotel frequently for work which have always been good experiences, but sadly on my visit this week it seems the standards are dropping drastically. The staff at the lobby remain very friendly, Bar Canary has had a small renovation but the room I stayed in looks dated, old and like it hadn't been freshly cleaned before my visit. The desk and side tables have dents and dust, the bathroom had hairs on the floor and a cereal fell out of the dressing gown, this is all after I had supposedly been 'up graded to a premium room'. This hotel is in a fantastic spot and should be getting lots of business, but I fear they will lose this business if they don't up their game…

Very convenient location. Just next to Paragon and Takashimaya. Hotel is new and clean. Cozy entrance and bar.

Had dinner at mitzo. Impeccable service and food. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The dishes that I wanted were all sold out and they surprised me with a complimentary dessert platter after I paid the bill. Superb dining experience.

Chinese food is superb. But remember to make reservations for food. Everything seems to be sold out during popular days.

Love the poolside bar, has a decent gym, rooms are great. Stayed two weeks and felt right at home. Entrance is on the side road so it's not a hassle trying to get in and out of cabs. The view from the back wasn't all that great, but it's livable as the rooms are comfortable.

Gotten the crystal club room with the club benefit. The staff there was really nice and friendly. They will tend to serve us and offer us help like pouring drink etc when normally people go there for staycation or business trip, get a normal room, there is no sure service as we oneself want drink, need to go to the bar etc to take our own. It was a really good place to relax if you wan to shop near orchard area.

Food food concepts at mitzo but the festive buffet was just not worth the price.

Dined at Mitzo, the food was great and the service excellent. Do try the roast duck with truffle sauce. Great for dates or families. There is a childrens area as well.

The location is one of the best, it is convinience to go shopping or to Mount Elizabeth Hospital The standard room is small compare to other hotel.

The rooms and location of the hotel is great! Especially Bar Canary which serves really unique alcoholic drinks. The alfresco sitting area of the bar and fairy lights deco allow guest to chill and unwind.

On arriving we found out that the hotel was under major renovations. We were not made aware of this anytime prior.
No empathy or apology was given by the reception staff. We were just told your tour operator would of been told in April. That was not the case.
There were no facilities available at all apart from bar and restaurant at night.
No breakfast available at all.
Loud noise constantly between 9am and 7pm every day. So unable to stay at hotel at all during the day.
The rooms were fine. But would not reconmend the hotel. Sorry you should not be having guest stay during these renovations.
We still paid full price for room no offer of compensation for everying we had to put up with. Disgraceful and just shows arrogance by management.

Recently stayed here. They are still having renovation. I would like to give credit to room service staff, there was an incident where we lost our car key (we drove from Malaysia) after looking high and low we still couldn't find it. Hence I was quite sure it might have gone into the bin which is really near the place where the key were left. Lost it since morning… called up room service to inform them and ask if they've seen it, they said they will check in the bin. After …about 30min we received a knock on the door. Room service found our car key in he bin! They actually went trough our rubbish to get the car key! Couldn't thank them enough. Also they have a moveable bench just below the sink which I think is a very good idea because it's so much easier getting the kids to brush their teeth. Very very good location as it's walking distance to Singapore national gallery great place to bring kids. Downside is, the shower water is not strong enough and temperature keeps changing on its own.

Minimalistic design, right in the center of Orchard rd, 5 mins walking distance to Mt. Elizabeth Medical & hospital, Takashimaya, and Mandarin shopping gallery. While Wi-Fi service is top notch, and friendly staff. Unfortunately breakfast buffet is limited variety.

Very good location for shopping and centrally located to explore Singapore. Hotel and the staff is excellent.

The overall stay was comfortable barring sometimes the construction noise was a bit disturbing. Well located hotel with most tourist attraction at walkable distance. Friendly staff and good food. Having said the experience was good, I was really disappointed for the fact that the security deposit that was charged during the stay with a assurance that it will be refunded after 14 days from the check out date, has not yet refunded even after 100 days and I’m still made to follow up. The person attending for my grievance has no idea of how it can be settled and neither gives me an update until I remind him. I’m extremely unhappy with the way the staff responds to this issue. I would appreciate a quick action and settlement of the above.

Overall small but well maintained hotel at the heart of orhcard road. Unbeatable conveniences. Canary bar was really inviting.

Visit was quite okie, their housekeeping service was extremely slow and dim, not in any way indicative of their 5-star status. Pillows & mattress were also way too soft. Pool wasn't as well kept as it should be, cloudy but I think not too bad. Only saving grace was the fact that I paid little to nothing for the 2 night's stay…

I brought my mum for staycation here and booked the crystal club room thinking they provide the all day refreshment and afternoon high tea. Upon arrival later than check in time, room was not ready. We waited at the lounge area thinking its okay since there are snacks provided to keep my mum occupied. To my horror, the refreshement are sooooooo pathetic! pls take a look at the pic I took. I didn't complain to the staff as I feel they won't possibly whip up a special dish for us. If not, in the first place, they wont be showing this tiny winy bits of snack. So disappointed. Till now I am writing this post, I am still waiting for the room. The check in time is 2pm.

First room was very musty and second room is just as bad. My eyes are watering from the smell. I guess I just have to live with it at least in this hotel. Seems to be a common problem here. Otherwise pretty nice for a moderately priced big city hotel. It is easy walking distance to anything around the central city.

What a wonderful hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is placed in a very nice spot. It is close to everything you could possibly need. The rooms are a bit small but are still reasonably good to live in. It is a very nice atmosphere. The pool and the gym are also very nice additions to the hotel which makes you feel great. The only big problem I had with the hotel is that the bathroom door was very stubborn to shut and open plus the t. V. Connection was not very good in terms of graphics. Overall this hotel was very good and I think it just made it over the line for me to rate it as 5stars.

Lobby is great, food is good, rooms too old, airco or 18 or off. Too expensive.
