The queue for Royal Caribbean ART test is chaotic and atrocious! Zero safe distancing. RCL are saying that this is the doing of Raffles City. Please do something. I will be escalating the situation to the respective government authorities.

Great Mall with Hyatt Hotel.

The recent capital mall promotion where you spend a minimum of $100, you get $40 vouchers is done is a very distasteful way. Their classifications of F&B outlets include retailers like wine connection and nespresso even though they are clearly retailers that are no different from Watson which also sells food and drinks. Why redemptions in Watson are allowed and not the former? This is ridiculous! Be careful of these marketing scams where they give vague T&Cs. Utterly disappointing for such a reputable home grown mall!

Restrooms at the basement offer soap that is extremely diluted. Please provide soap that allows us to wash our hands thoroughly. Thank you.

Nice, clean, good temperature shopping mall with a variety of shops. My daughter and I had a nice time during the national holidays in August. Especially with the extra fun and games on the 1st floor. They even had a big ball pit!

I checked with concierge on estimated car park charges. He calculated advised that the charge was $27 but I paid $50.40.

Ancient and historical hotel in Singapore. Actually I’ve never stayed over here. I looked around this hotel and people who stayed. They really relaxed and enjoyed luxury time.

0.5 star Bad service by Michelle Tan of Conceirge Desk, who is condescending and rude towards customers. Three receipts amounting to $240.50 were presented by my sibling with NRIC for Capitastar points entry and parking coupon redemption. Michelle Tan asked to see all three charge slips and three credit cards for the three receipts. She gave my sibling a hard time for the two Apple Pay transactions. Who carries credit cards around with Apple Pay? She also refused to let my s…ibling use my receipt and charge slip for Capitastars points entry. In the end, she accepted my sibling's two receipts and charge slips for Capitastar points, but told us that parking coupon was fully redeemed. ☆ We shop and dine at Capitamalls in different areas of Singapore and TODAY is the FIRST and ONLY time a Capitamall staff is so rigid and so rude. She should have told us upfront that the parking coupons had been fully redeemed. My sibling could have uploaded all the three receipts using the DIY scanners next to the Conceirge Desk without putting up with her crap. ☆ We have always had pleasant experience with other Raffles City staff but Michelle Tan's bureaucratic, high handed and unhelpful attitude has shredded our positive impression of Raffles City's customer service.

Ancient and famous hotel. Good service, to improve. Local staff not very judicious. Singapore is more beautiful in its ancient british architecture. The skyscrapers cover too much the beautiful green nature. (JB 1841)

The mini snow skin champagne truffles monncake was fantastic! No wonder it's their best seller! The skin remains soft even though I kept them in the chiller & can be eaten straight out from there without thawing & its not too sweet! Worth the $. But I am disappointed that their traditional mooncake with white lotus & pine nuts is too dry, though those with salted egg yolk tastes better.

Complete disappointment the worst bad bar, disgusting rude, tactless staff, worthless unpropriatic bartender. We arrived at 7:38 p. M. We were not happy and said that orders they take only until 7:30, although at the entrance it was written that they work until eight in the evening. We said we don't need a table, we'll have a quick drink at the Singapore sling bar. To which they rudely said no, although they sat two more tables. And we came to Singapore only in transit for 12 hours to drink the legendary Singapore sling in the place where it was invented by the great bartender Ngiam Tong Bunom. I asked if we could drink one for two in five minutes anyway, you still have a table sitting and you have time to close, to this the Bartender viciously began to collect his bag and jumped out into the street. Then a rude waitress ran up and told us to clean up since the bar is closed I said it was written before 8pm at the entrance but she didn't care and she didn't even apologize to us. Hired by staff, who doesn't care about this place and its history, the bartender ngiam tong bun who invented the Singapore an sling — if he saw how they put a bolt on the service and guests and exploit his name, the image — he would have a tear. They use his image and name completely without appreciating his inheritance and what he left for them. It is foolish to write until 8 p. M.

One of the most gorgeous hotels we have visited. It is historic for being the home of the Singapore sling. Note: You can actually get a discount on the Singapore sling if you get it at afternoon tea instead of just ordering it at the cafe. The hotel is undergoing a lot of renovations and construction. They also have a strict dress code for the afternoon tea.

Nothing to complain about is luxury in the pure state. We are not in modernism like most hotels in Singapore but in history. Charm and kindness make it an outstanding hotel despite a bit of renovation in some places would be needed.

Internationally well-known hotel that was named after the founder of Singapore. Sir Stamford RAFFLES. It was built in the colonial style at the end of the nineteenth century, with its typical columns, balconies, terraces, galleries and courtyards with lots of greenery. The rooms and bathrooms, at that time, were very spacious. Everything is well maintained. At this moment the hotel is closed due to renovation and it scheduled to reopen in the second half of 2018. The location is fine, close to the city center, tourist attractions and shopping streets. Absolutely recommended in this hotel is the,, afternoon tea,, with harp music and a great buffet!

A Singepore sling in the hotel bar. As authentic as it is seldom a place — despite many tourists. The peanut shells on the floor and the tables, the cocktail and the mood — all fit together.

The quintessential hotel built in the bygone colonial era style. Currently under renovation and refurbishment. Entertained Michael Jackson when he visited for his world tour back in the 1990s. Fantastic service, and beautiful facade.

One of the most beautiful experience you can have going in Asia. The hotel is an old a well maintained colonial building. The service is extremely professional and the rooms are fantastic. Breakfast is simply outstanding. You can really feel oriental luxury everywhere and you will not be disappointed to stay here a couples of nights. Absolutely to do when going in Singapore for holidays (or business as well! )

I didn't see the rooms because I was staying in a nearby Hotel, but I tried the restaurant… really great. Wonderful, the Hall. It's worth a visit. It's a historic hotel: Conrad wrote his masterpiece, Typhoon, while staying here.

A landmark of Singapore. Home of Sing Sling. Around 30SGD you have to lie down for it. But definitely worthwhile and you can still throw the nut shells on the ground. When we asked the waitress how dad was with the shells, she simply said: You throw it on the floor.

We were not guests of the hotel. But we visited it's a nice architecture.

Very good. The home of the Singapore sling. Don't be too Alameda on entry it seems to be normal to much on peanuts and just launch the shells on the floor. The drinks are expensive but it is the novelty of good f to such and illustrious place What made it worth the while for me was the choir they had on the lead up to Xmas belting out Xmas songs.

Cool hotel to stay at. Very British colonial feel. Parts of the hotel and the Long Bar were closed for remodeling. But we did get a drink at the Billiards and Bar room to grab a Singapore Sling at the hotel it was invented in. Still get peanuts at the second bar and still throw them on the ground.

Only (nice) bar in Singapore where it's acceptable to throw peanuts on the ground. The drinks are pricey but the atmosphere is worth it. Get in a game of billiards or snooker on their full-size tables to make it worthwhile!

Stayed overnight. The rooms are really spacious, and staff are courteous at all times. Definitely a place to stay for people who loves heritage and historical culture. I hope the on-going renovations won't lessen the hotel's colonial touch.

A very luxury hotel full of history. Here was creating the SINGAPORE SLING one of the best cocktails in the world the place is magical. Quiet class in the middle of a garden. Really has to do once in his life.

A luxury filled with history. We came to have an aperitif at night. The place is magical. The bar is quiet in the middle of a garden. The cocktails are varied and excellent. A magical moment.

A fantastic place, it was Jenny's birthday suprise, she was overwhelmed, it was somewhere she had always wanted to visit, and she wasn't disappointed, great food too, she didn't want to leave. A very colonial building well worth the time to visit, and we will be back again soon. The staff were amazing, always ready to help.

Rich heritage and patronage by well known figures/writers, rooms with history. Calm oasis with beautiful rooms and grounds. Great restaurants especially Tiffin Room.

It has a charming ambience even though it the oldest hotel. The interiors are well maintained and the benches near the fountain is a nice place to relax. The driveway is one of a kind in Singapore but need more maintenance.

Stayed a night last year, exceptional service and the room trims were very impressive. Lots of character about the entire property. Remember to try the Singapore Sling at any of the bars!

Fantastic to taste the Singapore Sling in its birthplace and at a hotel with such history. Atmosphere and service in the Bar and Billiards room. Sadly the Long Bar was shut for renovation and the Hotel will be closing for a period from December 2017, so check before you visit. The Bar and Billiards room offered the same experience with peanut shells in the floor. Lovely little promenade of shops and a well stocked gift shop of Raffles memorabilia. Would recommend a stop in as it's such a key tourist attraction.

This place bring lots of fond memories to me and my mrs. In addition, when we spotted COSTA CAFE, it become love at the first sight. Nice coffee, staff and ambience. A good place to chilĺ and to relax and enjoy our coffee.

The service at raffles hotel was top class. The interior of the hotel was also lovely and I enjoyed every moment at raffles hotel. It had a convenient location as well as there were shopping malls nearby to facilitate shopping and dining. There is even a souvenir shop nearby to buy souvenirs from Singapore.

Raffles City is a place with many wonderful memories the culture foods peoples & coffee talk fellowship areas, the beautiful of this place is the city in the city, when you at lost, you just walk around you will feel, encouraged, Love & laughs joy. Thank you for the design of this happening place.

This is my favourite place to meet both local and overseas friends because of the excellent Wi-Fi connectivity both at the MRT station and inside the mall. The Raffles City MRT station has only one entrance and exit to and from the platform, therefore, there's no confusion when telling friends to meet there. The mall may be aged but not dated. The tallest hotel in Singapore is also situated here. It's a food haven with vast selection. One can never get bored here because the underground passageways with shops and air conditioned connect it to the new Capitol mall and Esplanade theatres.

Colonial atmosphere. Very well maintained rooms and gardens. To see.

Old world ambience, fine food and a great selection of wines at reasonable prices make The Halia an excellent choice in the city area. The Chilli Crab Spaghettini is a must try dish!

Enjoyed the food, but really pricey! Worth checking out if you have an offer for it.

Decent food but a little pricey. I went there using the entertainer and had 1 for 1 for mains so it turn out alright.

The meat in Chicken Breast Salad is VERY tender. And the dressing is just the right amount of sour. The Wagyu Rump is also very well made and succulent. The pasta in the Halia Chili Crab spaghettini is also of the right hardness.
