Tiny room but nice and very tidy and clean. Good service and nice from ur attenden room Ms Nora. She's very helpful and very kind when I ask for mineral water.

This is an excellent boutique style hotel in a very good location within walking distance to the subway and several of Singapore's major attractions. The hotel is on a street that has several great restaurants pubs and there is a 7/11 around the corner. We stayed in a loft suite and it was very clean and cozy with an amazing balcony. The room had a microwave, mini fridge electric water pot and plates and utensils and free reliable Wi-Fi. I highly recommend it.

It is a Nice Room if you're staying 2-3 days top. The location is very good, central, and with lots of Nice restaurants around. There are some bars on the hotel street but you really don't hear any noise in the Room. The room is VERY SMALL and the bathroom is inside the Room. Yep thats right INSIDE so if you're going with someone that you're not ok with using the bathroom in front of I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

If you have not stayed in a compact room before, this experience would give you new experience! I was given a very small room, the smallest I have ever stay. However, everything you need in a hotel was there carefully and properly placed. The space consumption to place everything was brilliantly designed. The room was comfortable despite the size. The bed was adjustable for both ends where you could raise them up to your needs. I only find the sink rather shallow and one really needs to be really careful to not spill any water on the floor. I find the housekeeping staff was not doing a thorough job. He or she forgot to refill the bath shampoo. Rubbish was not collected / thrown during my 4 days' stay. Most of the staffs on duty do not have the habit of greeting their guests which I find a little unpleasant. Even if you greet them first they would look surprise as if it was never the norm to do so.

This hotel in a fine hotel. The rooms are like closets. They are very small. Much smaller than I anticipated and the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were friendly. I would stay somewhere else next time I’m in Singapore.

Hotel concept on the lines of Ibis Hotels but is a poor man's version of that chain. I had booked a cabin and reached the hotel at around 11 PM. The hotel displays a sign of 'Hotel Kai & Bistro' but there are no arrangements for food or drinks. Imagine after 12 hours of international travel, at 11 PM, I had to search for food in the town. They don't serve any breakfast either. Whatever you need in the room will be there but on a much lesser scale. You can bend and lift the head-end of the bed but that will make you feel like a hospital patient. The tea/coffee material in the room is adequate for just one cup. So if you are fond of having 2/3 cups you may carry your own stuff. Likewise you get only 250 ML of drinking water. If you need more you need to go out and buy it from elsewhere. The TV just plays one local channel and you can't change that. The place definitely doesn't give you the value for money and is rather depressing…

I don't know why the management choose black for the interior of the hotel. Even for their staffs uniforms. Look gloomy and even spooky…

Good location, 10 min walk to suntec convention. Tiny space but well organized. Reasonable price for budget hotel. It's suitable for sleeping and going out all day.

Great value for being so centrally located. Cozy rooms. Samantha in the reception was always smiling and super helpful.

Room: I stayed a night in the heritage room (meant for 4 pax). I think it feels kind of rundown. I have 3 tables n 8 chairs in the room which I rather they have left the space empty. I left some food on the table n came back to find a lot of ants on it. The sound proofing can be improved too as I heard the baby next door crying. Location: Awesome as bugis is convenient with lots of local food in the vicinity Services of staff: okay, I think can be improved as they insisted on wanting all my kids info (e. G. Names and Passport number/identity no. ) when I do not really have hands to provide it at the point. I think is okay to say u can provide it later on ur way down after I have checked in.

Small but clean rooms. Very helpful staff. Especially Samantha. Had good time in this hotel.

Gotten this room for a friend back in February. Friendly front desk staffs. given the location, the price for the tiny windowless room per night is still quite steep. Clean environment, private toilet. located near bars, convenient stores, a walk away from bras basah and bugis mrt. Convenient location and easy to find.

We stayed there for three nights + hotel is very central + the Mini rooms are nicely decorated in a modern style-the room size-Houskeeping is not very good. We arrived late afternoon from a trip and the rooms were still not cleaned. We then made ourselves fresh (showers etc. ), then the Housekeeper wanted to come. We asked him to wait another half an hour, as we were not quite finished yet. He looked annoyed, but said "OK". When we came back at night the room was not cleaned. Sorry, but that's not going to happen. I've never seen people from housekeeping want to come late in the afternoon. The hotel is not very large either.
-unfortunately no breakfast-the mattress and the bed Meadows coffee stains and — splash on (least the splashes at the bed box could have been removed) for a few nights it is OK there. As we had booked relatively short term and so there was not much choice of hotels in our price range, we opted for this. I would definitely use another hotel on the next trip.

Very clean, very cute hotel. Rooms are very small but very very clean. Bed is comfortable and you can raise the back with a remote. They clean the room every day. Staff is very friendly and kind. Is in a great location near to bus stops and bugis train station. Also Bugis street is near, you can find souvenirs there.

I chose this hotel because I liked their own admission that their rooms are very small. It's a tiny hotel spread over five floors. The staff are all genuinely friendly and willing to help. My breakfast is included and it's very basic, yoghurt, cereal, a fresh fruit, eggs of some sort, toast, indifferent pastries and poor coffee, but I've paid more for worse! It's central but very quiet and there are several interesting restaurants very close by (try the ChinChin to eat like a local) I'm here for another few days and very happy with my choice, especially when I walk past a more upper class hotel and see the hordes of package tourists!

Great location with some very nice restaurants… Rooms are super small but you can get used to it… After all, how much space do u really need? Small is more! ;-)

Pretty cool hotel in Bugis district in Singapore. Apart from the strategic location, the highlight of my stay has got to be the adjustable bed! You can adjust the elevation of parts of the bed using a remote control for a better sleeping experience.

This hotel is in a great location, the rooms are very small but had everything we needed for our trip that you would expect from a larger hotel. Also a good price for the hotel. The internet was a bit slow and for the first few nights our room was only replenished with complementary items for one person rather than 2. Other than the room there are no other facilities and no vegan breakfast option.

I been stay this hotel between 4~7 Dec 2017. Yes the room is tiny but as the hotel code: Small is more. The room is clean. The most impressive thing is serving! I would like to give two thumbs up to Ms Samantha who have a lovely smile and very helpful. Her warm and kindness makes me feel comfort in hotel like as home. … P. S. This Hotel can be safely called "capsule". The Rooms are very small, but it's not a minus if you are alone or if you don't have any complexes about what someone will hear your bunch but otherwise it's a simple economy class hotel, the rooms are clean. We stayed in a room with a bunk bed to climb which was hurting the legs. But it can only be my impression. The Staff is very pleasant, always help in everything. The Hotel is located within walking distance of the Esplanade station, from which you can get anywhere. In principle, we reached all the main attractions on foot. The Area is youth but not noisy. Very close by, in the neighboring building, if you bypass the hotel building on the left side of the hotel, there is a Chinese food court, where you can have a tasty and inexpensive meal. Breakfast is simple but nutritious: amlet, vegetables, toast, yogurt, muesli, sausages.

Went there for lunch at Bistro Kai. Ordered the Sirloin steak lunch set. Not too bad, just thought that the beef was slightly overcooked.

Good location. Good check in service but all other times the staffs aren't very friendly. Okay only breakfast. Nice bed. Very very very small room and you can easily hear people talking outside. Just want to note that I didn't feel very safe with this hotel. Once I arrived back to the hotel at 2am. I didn't need to scan my card to go into the hotel and there wasn't any staff attending (this doesn't worry me the most). The fact that I could see all the papers that look like the ones I wrote my check in details on (guest information and personal details) are placed only put at the reception within reach.

Helpful and friendly staff. Continental breakfast included with stay. Wi-Fi was weak at the end room. Quite small according to North American standards but is common in Singapore.

Nice, cosy boutique hotel in the middle of the city. Stayed here for a night and also had lunch at the Bistro… I heard they have a new chef and menu, so will be checking them out soon.

Short walk from the Burgis MRT station. Great food around the area.

A lovely place at a relatively affordable price. My room was small but very cozy.

The water dispenser is broken, the washing machine uses the can jump electricity, has provides the capsule coffee machine but does not provide any capsule ball (?! ). Toothbrush and towel also only two pairs (although after a supplement), I hope the boss can provide free service, otherwise really want nothing, a little disappointed.

Extremely clean and a cute hotel. But the room is extremely tiny with a limited vegetarian breakfast options. Superb location.

Impressive room interiors. Was facinated with how they were able to fit all the room amenities including the toilet and shower room in one small space. Superbly designed! A though concern was the sound insulation. I could hear fellow guests talking in the corridors and the opening and closing of doors from the neighboring rooms. But it was negligible. Breakfast food was a bit overrated from the reviews read. We served served baked beans, scrambled eggs, bread, the usual bre…akfast cereals and fruits. I was expecting more based on the "superb" reviews I got. Also another thing that disappointed me was the non-availability of sugar substitutes for my coffee (Splenda, Equal or Stevia). The Breakfast crew manning the dining area just said they forgot to replenish sugar substitutes stocks. Quite unlikely to a busy boutique hotel. And unfriendly to diabetics. This was the only reason I kept my last star in giving and excellent review for Hotel Kai. Having a coffee bar that also got good reviews should not have missed this point. Anyways, I'd still recommend Hotel Kai. Located near Bugis and very accessible.

Enjoyed one night stay at Hotel Kai. Rooms are small, which is the only downside, but everything works well. Hotel's breakfast is fantastic. Great location with lots of food places nearby.

Nice and cosy boutique hotel, with splendid location in the heart of charming Singapore. We stayed there from 18th to 19th April, on our way back to Portugal, and loved. The room was lilliput size, so ingeniously designed that every amenities and accessories had their place — and nothing was missing! Breakfast was excelent, and staff friendly and helpfull. We definitly recommend it!

The food is great. They cook their steak the way you want it and the result is spot on. They have a number of pasta selections as well.

Small but perfectly formed, very clean and comfortable hotel room with small speakers, the day back to the room to play your favorite music, the fatigue of the day also will dissipate! Breakfast is delicious, the service personnel enthusiasm! And the location is very good, from the metro station and Shopping Mall very close! Next time will go live!

My boyfriend and I have been here for our staycation for the 2nd time. This hotel is by far the best boutique hotel that we've been to! The rooms were very cosy with remote controlled bed. Awesome design and their staffs were super attentive and friendly! The breakfast provided is delicious too! Considering that it is situated in the town area, with awesome staff services, delicious breakfast, cosy and awesome room design, the prices are very worthy!
For those who are not looking into a staycation can also dine in Bistro Kai. Their truffle fries and buffalo wings are delicious!
The hotel is conveniently located in just walking distances from Bras Basah and Bugis mrt station.
We are definitely gonna come back again for another staycation!
