Very good value for money. I stayed 1 night here and super impressed with what I got compared to how much I paid. It’s clean, warm (on a winter), warm shower and the breakfast is really good.

Pretty basic rooms. Clean but very basic. Work desk wobbled. Staff was very friendly and nice. Good value hotel with basic room facilities, I guess that is the compromise.

Fantastic hotel, can't recommend staying here enough! The location is perfect, nearby the central station as well as all the local bus /tram stops.

Great location, just a 5 min walk from the train station, the city centre and many of the most popular tourist attractions are within walking distance too.

Great place to spend a week while visiting friends in Oslo. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have experienced, and the dinner buffet is also excellent. Both have great healthy choices.

A very nice place that feels like home. We enjoyed every single corner of this place. The lobby is diverse, the breakfest and dinner are very tasty and the coffee machines are just *mwah.

A good option right in the centre of Oslo, approximately a 10 minute walk from the train station. I stayed in a Superior Twin room — the rooms are clean, and of a large size. Wi-Fi is reliable.

Our room was upgraded because the hotel was full.
Still it was a modest room and the bathroom very small.
On the road side so weekends keep the window closed because of the outgoing people.

Yet another good hotel from Scandic. The best thing being that they are very consistent and repeatable. Good breakfast, quiet rooms. Convenient location near Skøyen station and bus stops.

We had a longer layover in Oslo and decided to take advantage of it by staying the night to explore a bit of the city.

Amazing! This little boutique hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed in! The location is walking distance to all the wonderful things to do in Oslo.

I stayed in the women’s shared dorm for 3 nights and had a great time! The beds were comfortable and has a privacy curtain with night lamp. The lockers were large enough to fit a full-size suitcase!

A very basic hostel, but definitely not bad. Double rooms very Spartan, beds, a small kitchen unit, and a bath.

Basic but spacious and clean room with a good shower, heated floor (! ), and nice view over the rooftops.

I had great experience spending few nights here. The rooms were so clean and comfortable and quiet. The shower and other facilities were clean as well. The staffs were so friendly.

A incredible hotel set in a truly magnificent surrounding. Reception staff were courteous from start to finish. They helped over and above from a pleasant welcome to answering queries by email.

Let me add to the glowing reviews here. We had a fantastic stay at Lysebu. We took advantage of the indoor pool and sauna and had a delicious dinner at the restaurant.

I had a fantastic stay at Thon Hotel Astoria in Oslo and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

I’ve stayed at Thon Hotel Astoria a number of times now, and it has become my default choice whenever I’m in Oslo.

The rooms are very nicely styled and they’ve made good use of space, even with a gym in the basement. But the standard room is quite basic, doesn’t have anywhere to put clothes, no bedside shelf etc.

My stay at Hotel Filip was wonderful! the room was well-equipped, comfortable and very convenient to museums, restaurants and things to do in Oslo.

I am very impressed with my stay. The cleanliness is excellent throughout, and the facilities are well maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged.

The room is clean, functional, cozy and bright. We recommend it to anyone visiting Oslo either on business or city trips.

Clean and spacious from foyer to room. The standard double room was rather large and with a roomy bathroom. The bed was on the soft side and the only minus with our stay.

Fantastic breakfast and a lovely room. Hasle Linie is a gem in a quiet neighborhood. We easily found an affordable parking spot just a 3-minute walk from the hotel.

Our room was great.
One could tell their interior was done by thoughtful decision making.
Room service was great. I requested and eventually got 12 more hangers to hang all the clothes.

Perfect location for Oslo experience. The adjacent Oslo Sentral station complex has big array of useful shops and services. Very friendly and helpful staff who made our stay extra pleasant.

Really convenient location if you’re looking to go to and from Oslo via train because it’s right next to the train station and pretty central walking distance to a lot of attractions like the Opera

We are Americans and have used this hotel five times over the years. We love Norway and Oslo, as well as the several other cities in this magnificent country.

Central and great in its price range. Right next to all public transport and surprisingly quiet at least on a weekday.

Honestly, arrived and the hotel was better than expected pictures do not do it justice. Service was impeccable checked in within less than 5 minutes. So close to the ski resort.

I recently stayed at this hotel just outside Oslo and overall had a good experience, though with a few downsides.

The location of this hotel is incredibly convenient and strategic – perfect for food, shopping, and getting around. No complaints there!

The location is great. Very well. Connected to tram and bus. All tourist spots are walkable.
The single rooms are very small and claustrophobic. The bathroom is very very small. Didnot like it at all.

My flight arrived early, so I expected to arrive at the hotel, leave my bags at the reception and explore the city while waiting for their customary check in time of 2pm.

We got strancem after our flight got rerouted. It was 100 euros for the taxi from the airport and another 150 for the room. Room was nice and clean.
