Cozy hotel, good service, location.

We have had to cancel our reservation in early July due to Covid 19 and the hotel
is refusing to refund our prepayment. We are not even allowed to travel to Norway!
I hope they change their decision and do what is fair and right.

This was my second stay at Hotel Continental in Oslo and it was a really great stay once again. The staff in the reception were very friendly and attentive. The rooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfy. The bathroom was nice with bath amenities from Molton Brown. Breakfast had great coffee and lots of choices of warm and cold dishes. The hotel is in a great location situated right in the center by Karl Johan with view onto the royal palace. All in all I would definitely stay here again!

Definitely five stars! Fantastic location, across the street from the train station at the National Theatre stop. Very easy access by train from the airport. Walking distance to the water front with restaurants, site seeing and shopping. My husband and I began and ended our visit at the Continental. The hotel staff was warm, friendly and very professional. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and spacious with all the amenities. Breakfast buffet was also great with lots of variety with both European and American options. Will definitely stay again.

Room was amazing. We had a view of the palace. And the location was fantastic. Staff and breakfast were fantastic.

Very nice hotel right in the middle of the City. Close access to the Oslo Central Train Station, the ferry pier, and the main City Attractions. Extremely wide variety of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Soft bedding, excellent rooms, great service.

Nice hotel, good food, great location, unfortunately there were renovations on the exterior of the building being carried out and no mention of this was made, we were woken at 8am by the noise and as this was a holiday trip would have been nice if they let us know in advance and moved is to the other side of the building.

My stay at the Hotel Continental Oslo could not have been more enjoyable! The location to the train, shops and restaurants was excellent. It’s just steps away from the train station, which made coming from the airport very convenient. The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff was so friendly and helpful! I would recommend for any visitors to Oslo.

Elegant hotel in prime location. Superb service and surprisingly relaxed vibe considering you're in the midst of a bustling city. Professional staff that are quick to fix what is needed, answer questions, and provide useful suggestions. Classy design, a great experience every time.

This is a very classy hotel. The service is excellent and the rooms are great. The junior suite is opulent and even features a private covered deck. You can’t ask for a more central location either. I highly recommend it.

One of the oldest and finest hotels the city has to offer.

Good breakfasts and courteous staff, but the rooms are unfortunately partly better broom chambers and already have their best times behind them. You can definitely expect more for the prize these days … not just the sonorous name and the associated history.

Location of the hotel is in the center, nevertheless I could get a quiet room.
I had a standard room, the room was small. In the hotel there is no swimming pool, there is a small gym, unfortunately there is missing the most important, the elliptical cross trainer. I would have liked to have had a bottle of mineral water provided free of charge in the room at these room rates every day.
Ruthlessness of guests
I found it disgusting that in the evening in the hallway many guests passed the room, who talked ruthlessly loudly and disturbed the peace of other guests. It is hard to believe that many people are so uneducated with money.

I slept with my head at the foot of the bed, because of the dip in the mattress. It would have your blood go to your head in no time.
Also I believe at this caliber you should be given water bottles, daily. None at all, its petty but it's the little things that matter. The front desk service is great.

One of the very best hotels in Oslo. A full service hotel with a quaint lounge area, two good restaurants, a pub, hairdresser, news stand and so on. Good choice of rooms from small sleeping rooms to large multiroom suites. Great location in the real city centre of Oslo and good access to transportation. National Theatre, the water front, good shopping, all within short walking distances.

Love that I can open the room's windows to let in fresh air. Also, best location as so central and convenient. Appreciate their thoughtful touches, e. G. Slippers in the room.

From the Bell Captain to assist with luggage to a smooth check out everything went well. Efficient and friendly front desk staff who also showed us around the room. Room was spacious, nicely decorated and with plenty of well placed outlets including some that are permanently on (much appreciated). Very good hair dryer. Good lighting. Hotel readily accommodated special requests. Front Desk staff provides walking map and recommendations.

Rooms were very nice. Concierge was helpful in dining recommendations and getting some pizza delivered for our kids.

Brilliant! I always feel welcome here due to the great service. The hotel in general holds a classical luxurious appearance, right in the heart of Oslo. Breakfast buffet is excellent, and the hotel deserves its place as one of the leading hotels in the world.

Have repeatedly lived here for weeks at a time. Nice place but noisy in the recent year due to construction. Nicely close to the subway, parks, dining, and shopping.
