Delicious food and wine. Beautiful view.

Visiting here from US. Came for afternoon tea. Hugo was wonderful with showing us all around.
Such a beautiful exquisite place. I highly recommend.

One of the nicest hotels we have ever visited. Located at the top of a beautiful valley, easily accessible from Oslo city by train. From the train station, a 10 minute walk to the hotel itself. Expensive food, but well worth the experience. Staff were exceptional.

Nice rooms and decent view. The food and service was delicious and unique. Would definitely recommend for a professional event or conference.

Nice 4 star hotel high up in the Frognerseteren area at a walking distance from the Voksenkollen T-bane station. From the outside it looks like an old wooden cabin, beautiful. There is an indoors swimming pool and sauna. The room rates are expensive. There is a restaurant.

Our room was decorated to a very high standard with a lot of thought gone into each bit of the hotel.
Very nice relaxing pool, sauna and even a small gym.
The staff are all very welcoming especially our French waiter Clement he went above and beyond to look after us.
the food was outstanding and the breakfast buffet was out of this world!

Heard they have a lovely pool and yoga on sundays but it was closed when I popped by.

En perle av hotell. Langt nok fra sentrum til å få roen og nærme nok for rask transport. Hadde arrangement for kunder, totalt ca 70 personer. Middag for ca 50 etter arrangementet. Både faglig del og sosial del ble en suksess. Gode fasiliteter og god mat både til lunch og middag. Anbefales!

Location is pretty good. Room was small but high standard. Towels at the pool are not provided unfortunately. Wifi was slow and was not working properly all the time. We expected more of a hotel with such a high reputation.

This hotel is wonderfull. It is located in a beautiful trees very natural place. Room is clean so quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is amazing, rich and fresh I can t forget the honey that they prepared for us every morning. Lobby and hotel is so very cosy and comfortable. I loved stayed next to the Fireplace.

Fantastic hotel for small conferences and meetings situated uphill of Oslo centre. The hotel have several traditional timber building around a courtyard and with a beautiful view overlooking the western part of Oslo. The kitchen is excellent and have a touch of finesse. Can be recommended!

I visited Lysebu for a three day offer for the leadership team in my organization. It is one of the most suitably placed vacation spot near Oslo. It's an exotic and possibly on the expensive side, which makes this a corporate destination for organizations in Oslo. You will relish the food served here, all three meals, if you are a proper non-vegetarian. Pure Vegetarian folks will struggle a bit. The hotel has the view of the city atop the mountains North of Oslo and most rooms comes with that great view of the valley, placed near the ski heights (one of the highest), makes it ideal for corporate getaways planned along with activities.

Very nice hotel with very nice rooms. We checked in to a junior suite and were very happy with the room. Good size, very clean and comfy beds. Although the staff were all very friendly we were expecting a little bit more from a 5 star hotel, as there were some long waits. I would still stay there again and recommend it.

A very nice and special hotel!
The location on the hills of Oslo overlooking the valley and the Oslofjord is worth it!
The reception was cordial and no matter who was at the reception-we were gladly and thoroughly helped!
The room is typically homely furnished for the region, but the teddy, the toiletries and the art in the room give the whole a special flair.
The breakfast is served with hot and cold regional specialities, which still taste very good!
Especially homemade honey, honeycombs, foie gras, freshly squeezed orange juice and rubbing cakes have sweetened our start to the day!
A really friendly and cosy hotel!

The service here is perhaps only overshadowed by the view, but only perhaps. They make you feel at home and relaxed. The design of the room and hotel is laid back and classic. Not the last time i'm here!

A fantastic venue with wonderful service and culture. The staff was very helpful and friendly, always excited to talk to visitors and help them find their way. They beds were comfy and the rooms were traditional with a modern twist. Highest recommendation!

Nice hotel close to Oslo. Great surrounding and good food. Conference facilities were also very good.

The resort is wonderful, although its 40 minutes drive from oslo city but its very near to holmenkollen the zipline. if you want to relax and nothinmg to do with oslo city then this resort is the best option for you. they have hen in their garden which adds to its ambience.

Really cute rooms, plus there are cross country ski tracks starting just outside the hotel.

Beautiful and quiet hotel on a hill near Oslo with beautiful views of the city and its surroundings. Direct access by Metro to the city (30 minutes) one must torture through the sometimes chaotic city with few parkings.
The value for money is absolutely top! The staff is very professional and courteous. The hotel is very clean with great attention to detail!
Free coffee, tea and water. The wine cellar contains fine treasures! The restaurant is not always open, so man find out beforehand if. After eating away the meal times but from the hotel meet requirements. The breakfast is very rich and Norwegian.
The hotel has a 25-metre swimming pool, a small sauna and a gym, which are entirely satisfactory.
Luxury award has been rightly awarded the hotel won twice in a row.

Instead to book an Hotel in city Center, I decided to book the Lysebu hotel (around 40 minutes in metro from city Center). I am absolutely delighted by my choice. The room is great with a fantastic view. The surrounding of the hotel is amazing and worth the distance from city Center. For any trip to Oslo I will come back here despite being far from city Center. The calm and the beauty of the place is worth the visit. If you plan a visit in Oslo do stop at this hotel, you will not regret it.

Nice veiw and facility. Swimming fool is also good and all staffs are very kind. Coffee & tea are free and you can enjoy its anytime. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place, peaceful environment. Perfect for a weekend getaway. We had a great weekend here, with swimming, fantastic food, and nice surroundings for walking. Not very far from Frognerseteren.

Overhyped. Nice enough, but Nordic style doesn't always go well. The Training Room was nice enough, but there was extremely dense fog. May be in a better day it looks good. Also, the walk from the train station to the cottages in Nordic Chill is a killer.
