This is the first time here in Norway. Great facilities, views and hospitality was excellent!
Our receptionist Chanette was especially helpful with getting to know the area, great tip for day trips to Oslo. She was exceptional and excellent on her service.

Lysebu Hotel is located at Tryvannshøyden Hill above Oslo, 750 metres from the Voksenkollen metro station. It offers excellent dining, free Wi-Fi and free private parking. All rooms at Hotel Lysebu have a work desk, and a private bathroom with shower. Some rooms feature a flat-screen TV and views of Sørkedalen Valley and Norefjell Mountain. The in-house restaurant serves Norwegian cuisine and features large panoramic windows and Nordic art on the walls. The restaurant offers a new 5-course menu every week, based upon seasonal ingredients and accompanied with selected wines. During summer, guests can dine out on the terrace. The hotel has a wine cellar and can arrange wine-tasting sessions. Art exhibitions and live music events are sometimes hosted by the hotel. Other facilities include a large garden, an indoor swimming pool and a lounge with fireplace. Popular activities among guests include skiing, hiking and cycling. Oslo city centre is a 40-minute metro ride away.

Scandic Holmenkollen Park has opened its doors again, after extensive renovation and remodeling. The distinctive history and architecture have been meticulously preserved and complemented with modern design and solutions. The Hotel's capacity is a total of 376 guest rooms, including 27 exclusive rooms and suites in the historic Dragon Building. The Hotel also has a new and delicious spa with a pool and a large gym of 1,100 m2. Entrance to Artesia SPA should be booked well in advance of your stay due to limited capacity. Age limit 16 years. Entrance from NOK 195 for staying guests, per visit to the SPA facilities. In our restaurant Holmenkollen BISTRO you can enjoy our unique waffle concept during the day. Waffle fajitas with cheddar and salsa, Club waffle with chicken, or perhaps a waffle with cured ham, sour cream and salad? There are many flavor combinations, and here you can experience the waffle in a way you have never done before. For dinner you can choose from a tasty à la carte menu, where the dishes are based on short-traveled Norwegian and Nordic ingredients. Scandic Holmenkollen Park is a destination in itself, a full 350 meters above sea level, with fantastic views over Oslo and the Nordmarka right outside the hotel door. The hotel is quite good, in a lovely spot in the mountains, just up the hill from the Olympic Ski Jump. The views are beautiful and peaceful. The best part of the stay was Chanette at the reception desk. She is full of local knowledge, and always eager to help you make the most of your time in Oslo! Thanks!
