Positives: Good location, friendly front desk staff, nice stylish rooms, pleasant common areas, tasty breakfast, seemed like good value for money in a very expensive city. Just a couple negatives: the Wi-Fi was a bit slow/unreliable, and multiple members of our group (or their taxi drivers) were confused by the difference between this place and the "Saga Hotel Oslo". (They're not the same! )

Upmarket hostel in great location. Excellent breakfast. Modern and clean. We stayed in a room with bathroom and very happy. Only suggestion is to change soap in dispenser as dried out skin after 2 hand washes.

Location is excellent, prices are good and rooms are clean. Administration however is a mess. I arrived at 10am and dropped my bag as the room wasn’t ready. I asked for a bottom bunk in the hostel room and was told this will be fine. Got back at 6pm, and was told all bottom bunks were taken. The next morning I got an email that I was a no-show. Went to reception, they took about 10 mins to “correct it”. I was again told there are no bottom bunks for my second night either because they are fully booked. Later that day I get back to find my bed undone and linen removed, apparently their system still didn’t register me there. Plus, there were all new folks in the room so clearly there were available bunks they could have given me. A few days later I got a no-show email from the site I booked them through, so this was never corrected.

Good for budget hotel. Clean. Breakfast is nice. But washing basin in my room is clogged. I have informed but no action.

I got stuck in Oslo for 25 days as I lost my wallet with all my documents and I found this hostel. Amazing service, facilities are always clean. The staff is so good that you could not believe it. Breakfast is one of the best I've ever had. Do not hesitate to chose this place, highly recommended. I'll definitely stay here if I ever come back to Oslo.

We were in this hotel 3 days, a part of our honeymoon trip. The hotel has a great location, it's right in a central area. The room was a little too small, with two suitcases to head it was difficult to move, clean but not at impeccable level. The staff is very helpful Overall pleasant stay, I recommend it especially for the great location!

The dormitory is nice and cozy. Suspensions for the beds are noisy. Usual breakfast as it comes included in the price its better. Nothing fancy and overall good!

Cozy hotel close to the Central Station of Oslo. Breakfast is amazing, decor is really fancy and the employees are really helpful.

We didn't have the internet for four days. The rest very well.

Nice central location. Nice furniture & decoration. Breakfast is good. But no furniture in the room to store cloths and thing for who stays more than 1 night.

The price is slightly more expensive than the general hostels, but the environment is very good and clean and the location is superior. There's a great breakfast!

Booked here through the Hostel World app, they had clearly rebranded at some stage and not bothered to update details on Hostel World. This place isn't a hostel, I may have had a better experience if I was after a hotel but I wasn't, if booked a place calling itself a hostel. This is a hotel with some dorm rooms that contain very noisy bed. Overall the place was nice and clean and will presented. No atmosphere, staff were nice although not very knowledgeable about surrounding things to do. Breakfast was good, many things to choose from. Would not recommend to a solo traveler looking for a place to meet other travellers.

+ nice breakfast included in the price, lounge area +fair price in the middle of Oslo, + aircon, +bathroom, ÷only one chair in our room, the beds are made of metal which is noisy when you turn around. Usually quiet atmosphere, if not scouts are playing or renovation workers are working during the day.

Great but cheap place. Brand new and modern, comfortable, and very clean. Open all the time, very nice staff, delicious breakfast. Central, easy too find, close to everything.

Really would like to give somewhere in the 3.5ish star range but giving them the benefit of the doubt here. Stayed in the 4 person dorm, which was pretty typical for hostels I've been to. I was a little disappoint that this isn't really a hostel as you see in mainland Europe where there's a bunch of younger people going out and enjoying themselves, but rather just a hostel for cheaper lodging. The bathroom was good, though could tell it was done at low-end as water leaked out of the shower stall basically soaking whatever was on the floor. Breakfast was the highlight here given the price point.

Was very pleased with my stay at this hostel. I stayed in an 8 person dorm which was fairly comfortable. Staff were very friendly and promptly responded to some questions I had emailed them before my arrival. Good central location about a 10 minute walk from the main station. Breakfast was very good. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Oslo.

The bathroom was annoying as hell, what with the cramped crummy excuse for a shower. Our beds had hundreds of long black hairs in it even though we were given a bag of sheets. It should be pointed out, by and large this is an upscale hostel which happens to have private hotel rooms in it. The staff, I must point out, was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Still, I looked forward to moving on with the trip because the room was simply not what I'd bargained for.

The room was nice and I had a big bathroom. The service cleaned the room well. I do wish that we had stronger beds. And ways to lock our belongings. Breakfast was very good.

We had a family room with bathroom and toilet. Beware, not every room has its own bathroom/toilet!
The room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent.
Neutral: Breakfast is ok. Free Wi-Fi, which is not stable.
Negative: No cupboard, no cabinets, no safe in the room, door does not close clearly. According.

The staff was amazing! As was breakfast. Whole dorm was clean and well kept. Excellent stay.

Mattresses were a bit soft / thin but not too bad. Breakfast was great. Located near the train station. Located near several bus lines.

Family room was large and spacious. Incredible amount of space for a hotel in Europe actually. The floor was heated which was so great. There were numerous power points in the room, more than you can use. The bathroom was also very very big. There were plenty of hooks to hang towels and clothes etc. The beds were clean and comfortable. I could have stayed in bed all day! Breakfast was included and was delicious! Overall it was a classy hotel.

Room was a bit small and there were no lights and charging ports for each bed (4 dorm). Bathrooms were very clean. Bed was ok. Awesome breakfast (value for money). Great price and location.

Simple and very well located Hotel, 5 minutes from the main tourist areas.

This combination of hostel and hotel has been successful. The breakfast is inclusive of the overnight stay and very good.
The rooms are available in different finishes and very clean.
There is a kitchen, washing machine, dryer and living room with TV.
All in all highly recommended in comparison.

Very good hotel in the middle of town (5min walk to Opera). Very clean large rooms with own locker! The breakfast is excellent, only that there is a toilet and a shower per floor, disturbs!
