Overnight guest, nice room with the necessary accomodations. Good variety in the breakfast buffet.

Loved my stay here! Nice rooms, nice hotel breakfast, modern feel all around, great roof terrace with a bar. They have AC, which many hotels in Oslo don't, so if you travel to Oslo during hot summer days I definitely recommend looking for hotels with AC like this one! Only downside I noticed was walls are thin (although I didn't have any issues with noise at all. )

Hotel is terrible no service unfriendly no one helps with the luggage rooms are worn out and it’s not like in pictures at all and they have no food at lunch time. It’s the worst hotel I ever seen.

Lovely hotel with wonderful staff. We were treated well from start to finish and made to feel special, which was great as we were on our honeymoon!

The roof top bar is excellent with a magnificent view over Oslo. Very sunny but not overheating. Quite overpriced though.

We checked in yesterday, and checked out 30mins later! As it is expensive, and advertised as a 5* hotel, I wasn't expecting what greeted us when we opened the door to our room. Tiny room, dark walls, a window view of a wall and to top it off… The bathroom walls are made of transparent glass! So basically, if I sat on the toilet, my partner had a front row seat. Unfortunately, it looks like we have been charged for one night (£250) even though we checked out straight away as the bathroom situation was shocking. Thank god the Raddison had a room available!

Excellent place to stay with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!

Very good location near Sentrum and Aker Brygge. Comfy hotel with nice staff. It serves a great continental breakfast, but coffee was disappointing.

Really nice hotel. Highly recommend. Breakfast was amazing.

Not so happy about it. No individual airco in the room so very warm, the generic airco makes too much noise, noisy atrium, room old and not very clean and the room is outdated. Location is good, staff is friendly. The small Bathroom has an extra step so for handicapped people not so practical. Gym is just a room with equipment. Bed is soft but comfortabele. Breakfast is good.

We booked through TravelBird a 4 day city to Oslo. This hotel was included by default and certainly didn't disappoint. Might even consider this for a next visit. Clean room, good breakfast, friendly staff, … All in all, very good!

I would rate this hotel more a 4 star than 5 star hotel. Friendly staff, great breakfast, good location and huge rooms. Our room unfortunately smelt very bad. They were aware of the problem but were unable to fix it. It was coming through the air conditioning vents. Because of the smell I wouldn't return as I understand it's an ongoing problem. Otherwise it was a lovely hotel.

Excellent hotel with moden look (a bit too moden in some rooms). Either big or small rooms depending on GHA membership status and availability.

Interesting interior. No possibility to pay by debit card. No reaction to complains on room issues (electricity, water, cooling system, etc. ).

Amazing service, the suites are huge and very modern, breakfast is the best you'll find! Hotel is super central. I think geared for couples or business travelers but if you get a suite it's great for families…

Got an upgrade to a bigger suite, which sounded nice, but this room (410) clearly showed signs of wear and lacking maintenance. The suite was huge, but poorly lit and very heavy/masculine (black/brown/dark red) interior for the specially interested. Overhead shower head was moldy (yuck! ) — the handheld shower was very dirty (see pics), lots of questionable stains on the couch. Breakfast ran out of bread, milk etc. An hour before closing time (what remained was quite OK, nothing out of the ordinary). Really comfy bed, but overall it didn't seem like anything had been done to maintain the standard since the launch ten years ago, except for very light surface cleaning. The very least a guest expects for this price is proper cleaning. Improvements desperately needed.

For a 5 star hotel, it looks great. But the room was not clean, empty sauce container found on the floor, pen*s confetti found in the carpet, cigarette packet and cigarettes found in light fitting above bed head. Then every time people use the rooftop bar BBQ, the smell of smoke fills the room through the air conditioning, and then suddenly you have the strong smell of sewerage through the air conditioning, this would happen every day, day and night. It got so bad I had to tell the receptionist, and his reply was to "oh ok, that's no good". There were no coffee cups, so the Nespresso machine in the room was pointless. And don't open the red wine, because it has a cork, and no cork screw could be found. I asked 2 different people at reception, both couldn't find one. I asked the bartender on the roof. He said no because he only has one.
For 5 stars. I would expect better customer service, staff that actually care about the hotel guests, and not to find several cleaning faults with the room.
This is the worst of the 6 hotels on our holiday so far.

Great location only 10 minutes walk from the central station. Modern design and very spacious rooms. Could be cleaner, we checked under our beds to see if we had forgotten anything and there was a thick layer of dust wich was very off-putting. Otherwise great! Would stay here again.

Nice Hotel with some minor flaws, I like the design. I stay here almost every week for business. Breakfast is great, fitness not so much.

Central location and beautiful decoration but bad cleaning service, pure breakfast and in some cases design kills functionality! Definitely not satisfied!

Had a great stay. The hotel is really well placed; within walking distance of all the main attractions and restaurants, but in a quieter part of town. The room was comfortable, clean and well presented. Staff were friendly and always ready to help. Would definitely stay at the Grims Grenka again!

This hotel tries really really hard to be a "design hotel" but the little details betray that it's really a refurbished, older hotel. That said it's mostly all good: blazing fast Wi-Fi (>70Mbs), great breakfast, central location. Romantic couple visitors may be put off that it appears that Oslo's red light district is right outside the hotel door, but location wise it's still walking distance to Karl Johan, Aker brygge etc.

Nice hotel, nice suite but lacks the detail, passion or care to be anything great. We picked a suite for us to spoil ourselves for our honeymoon, and we were sadly disappointed. The staff was cold and unhelpful. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and was delivered a meat pizza. We asked for help or recommendations with finding other hotels (because they were fully booked for the extra two nights we were staying) and no help or care was shown. And upon checkout, we weren't asked how our stay was. Maybe it's a difference in culture. Some details they've missed: no (correct) remote for TV (the brochure boasted of a Bang and Olufsen TV — our suite had the BO remote but a Philips TV), no stereo (again brochure had boasted of), cheap toiletries that dried out our skin (first host hotel brand), Nespresso machine/set up had used/open sugar packets and only one caffeinated pod), the Internet was fast when it worked, but was spotty for us at least. We could also hear our neighbors from above. Also, we were next to the street and our suite was on the 2nd floor, so we heard construction and people on the street (crying babies, drunk screaming people). This was a 3-day stay and all 3 days were the same. I know these are picky things, but for a 5-star price, you'd expect top notch service with an impeccable room at minimum. Not to have to be frustrated, annoyed, and confused. In my opinion, this is an overpriced hipster hotel that lacks in quality and passion.
