Staff are lovely and helpful. Clean and comfortable beds. Everything is clean and tidy.

An all-inclusive with great value and excellent casual food and drink in a great location. The building is slightly dated, but the rooms are well appointed. The service is exceptional.

We traveled as a family, two adults and a 13 and 11 year old. We have previously stayed at some fairly large resorts.

This is our second time this year that we have stayed at the Plaza Pelicanos Grand Beach Resort. We absolutely love it. We stay in the tower in a suite which is well worth a little bit of extra money.

Real authentic Mexican coastal vacation experience where you can appreciate how local fishermen operate from the comfort of this amazing mini resort.

Ideal location, incredible design, and wonderful staff. We can’t wait to return next “Winter”, hopefully that is an option.

The pluses: The complex is gated and the apartments are lovely, quiet, spacious, high-ceilinged, air-conditioned, and light-filled with interesting found-objects art and comfortable common-area

We had the best experience staying in Casita for 3 weeks. It was a perfect place for my husband and I. The accommodations are remarkable. The garden, pool and hot tub add so much to this property.

This place is magical! We stopped here on our way from Manzanillo to Sayulita and we don’t want to leave!

I had a very good experience here last year which is why I returned. Two room suite offers room to sit. Yes it is a bt worn, but they are working on repairs. The courtyard is kept nice.

Simple, traditional Mexican charm — warm welcome lovely staff — excellent breakfast, amazing Pool all set against the awesome mountain backdrop.

This hotel is fabulous. My room was excellent and sparkling clean. In fact, the whole place was sparkling clean every day.

It's a sad day, unfortunately on 17 May 2024 Mercurio was abruptly closed due to some reported legal and financial troubles.

& then there is Mercurio! I have no words to express the heart and grace of this place.

This was the perfect place for our family reunion! 3 generations and plenty of room for us all. The house is fabulous and the staff is superb.

I had the absolute best experience at Villa Azul on my bachelorette this past April. The staff is incredible — they anticipate your needs before you can even ask.

Hotel was nice and clean with a stunning view of the bay area. My only complaint would be that when it rains the water would come into our room.

We stayed in Solo 2, a vibrant yellow room with an incredible view of the Bay of Banderas! Humpback whales and their calves entertained us every morning we were there!

I stayed at Sunscape Puerto Vallarta in January 2026 and had a wonderful experience.

This resort does it right. No frills but great value. The location is amazing. Easy to go into town or on excursions autonomously.
The food is tasty and plentiful.

We enjoyed our lovely stay at Villa Star of the Sea so much! The hotel is very beautiful with great views on the ocean with very friendly owners and staff!
