Hey this hostel was great. The service at the reception was efficient and clear. Breakfast was awesome and I had a beautiful sleep. I love that you get a free drink on the house when you arrive.

Great location with a large open terrace with seating, tables and a place to wash clothes. There are common areas with lots of seating and nice comfy couches in the living room.

Just lovely. Especially if you plan on staying for a bit longer. Fantastic terraces for meeting people. Friendly hosts and volunteers. Great neighborhood for your dining / coworking needs.

This is a great hostel in a safe location near all the action. Breakfast included, although basic. Yoghurt, toast. Granola, coffee and tea. Good vibe place.

My second time here, and will continue to call this home in Guadalajara, Jalisco México while I am here. I prefer to ne here than stay with relatives. Great staff, Alexis, Irene, and Omar!

I love the location so much, very good neighborhood and close to everything yet away from hustles.

The hostel is ok for the price you pay. Receptionists were nice, but not too helpful with information regarding self organised tours as they wanted me to rather book with them.

Really nice, clean, well set up hostel. Extremely quiet when I was there but they have really nice common areas. Kitchen is small but well equipped.

The host's attitude is very good. The garden on the roof is spacious and comfortable. It's good to bask in the sun during the day and sit and blow the wind at night.

The or cheap and good, in you can make your own breakfast there 😉

Came here after a bad experience at a previous hotel, the receptionist was super welcoming and helpful and let us reserve the room on the spot without making prior reservations.

I've stayed at Spartacus Hostel three times now, Pride 2025, August 2025, and for their 1-year anniversary in November, 2025. It's as it appears in pictures on their website and better in-person!

I’m typically not a hostel person, but I thought I would give this one a try since it was men only. The facility is clean.

Due to the construction chaos in the city, I needed to spend the night near the airport, and this place was perfect! The room was pretty clean and cozy, and the bathrooms were clean as well!

The room is a cozy and peaceful place for some people and is like a home. In Seoul where I lived, it was a basement room, but it was still a familiar home to me and I was happy.

The location was amazing, just steps from the beach.
Staff swept and mopped everyday.
Every amenity I needed was well within walking distance.

I visited for the first time for new years in 2023, and had a blast!

What to say: I booked a night and stayed a week! The host Marco is super chill (and his dog too! ) and the vibe was just so laid back and the people staying so sweet, I kindof forgot to leave!

According to the pricing, it is a pretty decent option. It even got the free breakfast. The rooms might not be spacious or clean enough, but it is definitely one of the best in this price range.

Doing Puerto Vallarta solo, choosing a Bed and Breakfast stay, was a good choice. I made new friends from around the world, and plan to do it again.

Without a doubt I would stay again, I recommend 100% excellent service.

Wow! Place feels good from top to bottom. I had a great experience staying here for a week. There was a flow of people coming and going but some more long term guest and it all felt really great.

This was a great place to stay on a budget! We had a private room, and the whole place felt secure (the front gate locks, and the back gate was also locked at night).

Very convenient and centrally located. Walking distance from the pacific coast. Spectacular views and exciting night life.

This place is a hidden gem in PVR, and I say that after having stayed in 3 other hostels in the city. Is it a bit rundown in spots? Yes.

Jorge the bartender is excellent. Juliette isn’t just beautiful she provides excellent guest service. Rooms are adequate and for the price exceed expectations! Chase checked me in she did a great job!

Brilliant staff that speaks very good English and explains about tourism in Guadalajara passionately and genuinely. Beds are exceptionally large for a hostel.

We visited two other hostels in Guadalajara before thankfully finding this place. The dorms beds are HUGE. It’s sparkling clean throughout the building and especially in the kitchen.

The location and the people make this a great option for budget travel. Rooms are very clean. It’s safe and convenient. I had a private room for almost a month there.
