My wife and I had a wonderful stay at El Corazón. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel welcome and was always available to help with anything we needed.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay at El Corazon. It’s a gem of a hotel on the quiet edge of town and just 5-minutes from the beach.

Mawimbi is a beautiful boutique hotel right on the edge of town so it’s both peaceful and convenient. The staff is very hospitable and welcoming. We found the servers to be delightful.

We had the most amazing stay in this little gem beach front stay. Everything was perfect, the staff attentive, the rooms specious and beautifully decorated and the most amazing beach!

We are on our penultimate day here and wanted to say how amazing its been.
We had a bigger room, with a beautiful outside bath on the balcony, overlooking the pool and beach.

All very good, especially the staff and location. A couple or areas to improve. The cold water in our room wasn’t cold at all so that could be improved.

We had a great time as a family of 4 in Xaloc! Everyone is so nice. The breakfast is good! Kids enjoyed the family pool. The rooms are spacious and well equipped!

We spent a week here in early July followed by a week in Playa del Carmen (with Tui). Holbox was definitely our favourite week of our two week stay in Mexico with older teenage children.

My friend and I had such a lovely stay in Villas Palmars. The staff are pleasant, helpful and very obliging. Our room was ready when we arrived, even though we were a bit early.

We had an amazing time at this hotel and truly felt at home. The room was very clean, well organized, and the kitchen was a great bonus for our stay.

While it's a long walk to town center, about 10 minutes, look at it as a great way to exercise!

Visiting from US for 7 days. This little hotel is an amazing. Place to stay. Front desk staff is very helpful. The hotel rooms and common areas are very well kept and clean.

Stayed in Holbox many times and found this hotel to be comfortable and quiet. Away from the hustle and noise of the centre. Rooms were typical Holbox vibe, beach good too.

Great place to stay on Holbox. The Hotel is in a quiet area a bit away from the center with direct access to the beach. Breakfast on the beach was our highlight. The rooms are spacious and very clean.

Holbox is a different experience. Not average. This hotel is very far from average. Unique, creative architecture and decor. The staff is amazing. Food, excellent.

I had a great stay at this hotel. It’s very close to the beach and an easy walk into the centro.

Great deal, we got a family room and it was huge, 2 queen beds plus two singles and one hammock, we were only three people.

I loved staying in this small hotel. It is located in a quiet area with a lot vegetation. I really appreciated the 5 gallon water container in the room.

Stayed here for a few nights. It´s a bit "far off" (5 minute walk into the center of town). But otherwise it´s really lovely. Rooms were clean. Staff friendly.

We stayed at El Nido in May 2026 and it was just perfect! The location is great for beach days, only a few minutes walking to Punta Coco.

A wonderful, stylish hotel on the quiet end of Holbox. Immaculately maintained pool and gardens, with generous well designed rooms, and a 3 min walk to the beach, we really loved our stay at El Nido.

Perfect place to stay on Holbox! Located right on the beach (literally a few steps), you can walk to the centre of the island in around 15 minutes.

We were torn between staying here and at AWA, and I’m very glad we chose Casa Takywara.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Puerto. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything was simple but well taken care of—exactly what you need for a relaxing stay.

The room was spacious and very quiet. The location is excellent – everything is within walking distance. The hotel is right on the beach and offers sun loungers.
