We are on our penultimate day here and wanted to say how amazing its been.
We had a bigger room, with a beautiful outside bath on the balcony, overlooking the pool and beach.

All very good, especially the staff and location. A couple or areas to improve. The cold water in our room wasn’t cold at all so that could be improved.

Amazing hotel with outstanding service – everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming.
The place is beautiful and spotless, with a fun beach you can enjoy all day.

Simply a place where all the staff is dedicated to make the guests feel good. Whole scenery is great with murals.

What a wonderful property! They have utilized every square inch to create a cozy, tropical haven with everything we would need. Nicest people on the planet with a resort cat that welcomes all!

We had a great time as a family of 4 in Xaloc! Everyone is so nice. The breakfast is good! Kids enjoyed the family pool. The rooms are spacious and well equipped!

We spent a week here in early July followed by a week in Playa del Carmen (with Tui). Holbox was definitely our favourite week of our two week stay in Mexico with older teenage children.

My friend and I had such a lovely stay in Villas Palmars. The staff are pleasant, helpful and very obliging. Our room was ready when we arrived, even though we were a bit early.

We had an amazing time at this hotel and truly felt at home. The room was very clean, well organized, and the kitchen was a great bonus for our stay.

While it's a long walk to town center, about 10 minutes, look at it as a great way to exercise!

Visiting from US for 7 days. This little hotel is an amazing. Place to stay. Front desk staff is very helpful. The hotel rooms and common areas are very well kept and clean.

Stayed in Holbox many times and found this hotel to be comfortable and quiet. Away from the hustle and noise of the centre. Rooms were typical Holbox vibe, beach good too.

A great choice to spend a few relaxing days in Holbox. Our suite was very large and had a fantastic balcony with hammocks, beach loungers, and a patio dining set.

We visited Isla Holbox for the first time and chose a boutique-style hotel right on the beach. It offered great value with large rooms, and we were not disappointed at all.

I had a great stay at this hotel. It’s very close to the beach and an easy walk into the centro.

Great deal, we got a family room and it was huge, 2 queen beds plus two singles and one hammock, we were only three people.

We stayed at El Nido in May 2026 and it was just perfect! The location is great for beach days, only a few minutes walking to Punta Coco.

A wonderful, stylish hotel on the quiet end of Holbox. Immaculately maintained pool and gardens, with generous well designed rooms, and a 3 min walk to the beach, we really loved our stay at El Nido.

I loved staying in this small hotel. It is located in a quiet area with a lot vegetation. I really appreciated the 5 gallon water container in the room.

Stayed here for a few nights. It´s a bit "far off" (5 minute walk into the center of town). But otherwise it´s really lovely. Rooms were clean. Staff friendly.

Only 5min from the boats and 5min to the beach. Very safe area, spacious rooms. Small but good pool. No view from windows. As it is pretty close to bars, it can be noisy at night.

This place exceeded our expectations and was incredible value for money. We loved how peaceful the place was, the pool area and rooftop were stunning and loved the nearby beaches.

The location is excellent, the hotel is practically on the sea, just a few steps and you're in the water, and it's in the center of the island, with many restaurants nearby.

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel La Palapa. 4 nights was not enough. From the service, to the staff, beach bar, rooms, balconies, decor — everything was perfect!
